ROH Pure Title Proving Ground Match - Lee Moriarty vs Serpentico

Tony Schiavone and Paul Wight are on commentary for this one.

They shake hands. Serp wristlocks him and Lee reverses it. Lee rolls him into an armbar and Serp uses a ropebreak. Lee grounded sleepers Serp and Serp goes for a pin. Serp la magistral's him for 2. Lee headbutts him in the gut then Serp armdrags him. 

Serp euros him then Lee goes up and over. Lee armdrags him and Serp headscissors him. Lee knees Serp in the gut. Lee suplexes him for 2. Lee pulls his arms back. Lee cobra twists him. Serp uses his 2nd rope break.

Lee knees him in the gut. Serp rolls him up for 2. Serp superkicks him and enzugiri's him from behind. Serp headscissors him down. Serp rope walks into a tornado ddt on Lee for 2.

Lee sleepers him then belly to belly suplexes him for 2. Serp cradles him for 2 and superkicks him. Lee tilt-a-whirl slams him on his gut. Lee drops him on his chest and submits him with a border city stretch.

Thoughts: Lee won as expected here. What we got was fine and Serp got a little shine before going down. 

ROH Women's Pure Title Proving Ground Match - Deonna Purrazzo vs Rebecca Scott

They shake hands and lock up. DP wristlocks her and RS reverses it. DP rolls out of a wristlock and is rolled up for 2. DP trips her into an armlock. DP does a gori special to her then RS rolls her up for 1. 

DP rolls her up for 2. They catch each other's boot. DP forearms her and RS flying headscissors her. RS running euros her in the corner then step up enzugiri's her for 2. DP boots Rs out of the corner and russian legsweeps her. DP armbars her. RS gets a 2 count on her.

They then both pump kick each other down at the same time. They trade forearms. RS high kicks her and celebrates. DP pump kicks her down. DP goes for a powerbomb but is jacknifed. DP powerbombs her for 2. DP pulls back on both arms and submits her.

Thoughts: It was more competitive than expected and wasn't that bad. DP did a little more than usual and it wasn't all armwork for a change.

Mark Davis vs Main Man Oro

Mark misses a kick then takes some facekicks from Oro. Mark throws him off the waistlock and slams him. Oro PK's him. Oro spinning heel kicks him in the corner. Mark leglocks him over the top rope.

Mark lariats him off the apron into the rails. Mark backdrops Oro on the apron. They chop each other. Mark drops him with a big lariat. Mark hits lariats to the front and back. Mark corner lariats him twice then does another lariat. Mark hits a falling lariat on him for 2.

Mark chops him. Mark hits forearms. Mark running low forearms him in the corner for 2. Mark forearms him and Oro koppo kicks him. Mark tilt-a-whirl drops him on his gut for 2. Mark knee lifts Oro. Oro spin kicks himn in the face then neckbreakers him for 2. 

Oro facekicks him on the apron and is lariated into the ring from the apron. Mark goes up top and Oro moonsaults into a kick on him there. Oro then walks up the buckles and tornillo's him outside. Mark backdrops him and lariats him down for 2.

Mark is rolled up for 2. Oro germans him. Oro spinning forearms him from behind for 2. Oro jack knife's him for 2. Oro sunset flips him for 2. Mark gutwrench piledrivers him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was an okay bout. Oro had some highlights and it was rather strike heavy. Mark hit some nice lariats and Oro did his various unusual kicks.

Caprice Coleman interviews The Iinspiration. Jessie is clearly pregnant. Cass says her and Jess went to high school together in Australia and trained together. Jess says they liked the stories and showmanship in wrestling and they bonded over it. Cass calls Eddie Guerrero the GOAT. Caprice says sometimes in high school you are the only person who likes wrestling. Jess says she's pregnant with a baby girl. Carice asks the name of the kid but they get mad and won't say. 

Cass says they will stay The Iinspiration even with Jess out. Jess says she's thinking Australian, 6'0 and strong and bad@ss. She says this person could be Cass' new partner. Caprice asks for something inspirational and Cass says speak when spoken to. Jess says they want to keep The Iinspiration going.

Athena and Billie Starkz vs Vivan Van and Vertvixen

Ath and Van shake hands. They trade wristlocks. Ath piefaces her then forearms Vert. Vert takes a flying knee + side slam for 2. Vert goes up and over then shoulders BS over twice. Vert overhead suplexes BS. Vert baseball slides her. 

Vert running forearms Ath then Van running forearms Ath. Ath takes a double suplex. BS tornado ddt's Vert off the bottom rope. BS boots Vert in the corner and Ath foot chokes Vert. BS chops Vert then Ath chinlocks Vert.

Ath hits knees on Vert and foot chokes her. Vert takes running corner forearms and a running corner facekick for 2. BS chinlocks and sleepers Vert. BS throws Vert down backward. Ath misses a corner meteora. Vert disaster kicks Ath.

Van comes in and hits shots on BS. Van upkicks BS and spinning heel kicks her. Van top rope dropkicks BS. Van then dropkicks Ath and sentons BS in the process. BS takes a double team backbreaker then a blue thunder from Vert for 2. 

BS rolls up Vert for 2. Ath is tagged in and she dropkicks Vert. Ath superkicks Van. Ath lariats Vert, making her ddt Van. BS tries a swanton but Vert gets her knees up. Ath backdrop uranage's Van. BS spin kicks Vert and Vert flying knees Ath. 

Vert forearms BS outside then suplexes her on the floor. BS ushigoroshi's Vert on the floor. Ath hits ataxia on Van and pins her.

Thoughts: It got a lot of time. They didn't do anything too crazy and Ath's team won as expected. Why it took so long is unknown. It was average.

Alan Angels vs Tommy Billington

They lock up. Tom armdrags him and armlocks him. AA slams him and Tom holds on. Tom shoulders him over then armdrags him into an armlock. AA armdrags him and is headscissored. AA then backs off and slides out.

Tom takes him down by the wrist. Tom misses a crossbody and goes out. Tom back body drops him on the floor. Tom comes off the top and is dropkicked in mid-air. AA northern lights suplexes him for 2.

Tom hits chops and running back elbows him. Tom reverse monkey flips him. Tom topes him and goes into the rail himself. Tom top rpe crossbodies him for 2. AA rolls him up for 2. AA spin kicks him in the gut then half-nelson suplexes him. AA running forearms him in the side of the head for 2.

They go on the buckles. AA dropkicks his head into the top buckle. Tom hurricanrana's him. Tom top rope dropkicks him and piledrivers him for the pin.

Thoughts: It was acceptable. There was a breadstick that ended up in the ring at one point here and I don't know how that happened. I don't think it was quite the best match they could have had though.

Deonna Purrazzo says Emi Sakura just had to ask for a match if she wanted it. She says she let her guard down and says Jersey girls always settle their vendetta's. She says she will see her soon.

Preston Vance vs Jarett Diaz

JD slaps away a handshake. PV backs him up in the corner and clean breaks him. JD chops him in the corner and PV no sells it. PV then chops him. 

JD boots him out of the corner and enzugiri's him. JD misses a 2nd rope moonsault then PV hits lariats on him. PV corner lariats him and pump kicks him in the corner. PV spinebusters him. PV spinning lariats him then submits him with a full nelson.

Thoughts: It was a short squash and Vance won as expected. Vance did his usual stuff and neither guy really stood out here. 

The Dark Order come out as Vance leaves. Vance goes up to Silver and Silver shoves him.

ROH 6-Man Tag Titles - The Lethal Twist (Jay Lethal, Blake Christian and Lee Johnson) (c) vs The Dark Order (Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds and John Silver)

Jay ducks an Alex lock up and struts. Alex side headlocks him then struts. Alex hits forearms and dropkicks him down. Alex euros him and Lee knees Alex in the back from the apron. Alex is held for a corkscrew kick and a cutter. Lee and Jay then strut.

Lee is tripped into a triple basement dropkick. Lee takes a triple team shot on the ropes then a german. Uno chops Lee. Alex euros down Lee. John bangs Lee's head off the buckles and hits mounted shots. John is put in tree of woe and takes a 619 to the back and a dropkick. Blake 2nd rope moonsaults out.

Jay takes running corner attacks then a stunner into a german for 2. Blake top rope double stomps Alex to break that pin up. 

The 6 trade shots.The heels run into a triple stereo superkick. Jay is lifted in the air and flipped over for 2. John throws Blake out. Blake enzugiri's John and John is held for a Blake springboard splash for 2. Blake handspirng corkscrew kicks AR. Everyone gets a move in. Jay hits a flatliner on Alex. Uno takes a sliding german.

John faces a 3v1 and chops his opponents. John double suplexes Blake and Lee. John hits kicks on Jay and brainbusters him. Blake PK's Alex from the apron. John takes a top rope double stomp + death valley driver and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was alright. The Dark Order controlled things a little more and it wasn't quite the wild Lethal Twist match we usually get. The Twist won as expected and it went okay.

The Dark Order argue after. Preston Vance comes in and John shoves him. John then walks off by himself.

Overall thoughts: Nothing was bad here wrestling wise though Vance's match was probably the least impressive bout. This only went 90 minutes or so which was greatly appreciated. It was an okay show overall and I'd say the main event was the best bout on here. There's nothing you'd need to see, but I'd give it a 6 out of 10 overall.
