Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling Mayhem 9/9/2026

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling Mayhem 9/9/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/09/maple-leaf-pro-wrestling-mayhem-922026.html

We are in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Don Callis and Mauro Ranallo are our hosts.

The First Faction do a promo. Jean says the results will be the same each time with them. Sinner and Saint show up. Travis says they look nervous to see them. Judas says they like watching more than partaking. Jean says he's not afraid. Travis says they are ready to rumble if they are. Bryce accepts the challenge for First Faction and Jean isn't happy. He piefaces him for it.

Andrade El Idolo vs TJP

Idolo wristlocks him. TJ cartwheels out and headstand spinning headscissors him on the mat. Idolo headscissors him and TJ handstands out. They then stand off. Idolo hammerlocks him. TJ flying snapmares him.

Idolo kicks a camera on accident and top rope crossbodies TJ For 2. Idolo dropkicks TJ through the ropes. Idolo 2nd rope moonsaults him outside. Idolo takes a photo with girls at ringside.

We go to break and return. Idolo flying forearms him. Idolo corner meteora's him and rolls him up for 2. Idolo elbow slices him. TJ goes up and over and tornado ddt's him.

TJ running back elbows him in the corner. TJ hits facewash kicks. TJ knocks him off the buckles and top rope frogsplashes him for 2. TJ does a regal stretch variation. Idolo cradles him for 2. TJ spin kicks him in the face. Idolo spinning back elbows him and double underhook twisting drops him. Idolo pins him.

Thoughts: It didn't get as much time as it needed. What we got was acceptable but nothing too special or memorable.

Idolo gets on the mic and asks if Rohan Raja thinks he's better than him and if he thinks he can beat him. He says he will see him on 10/3 and says, "How you know?".

Stu Grayson and Evil Uno talk outside. This is from last week. Uno congratulates him on beating Johnny TV. He says something is bothering Stu and he needs to let it go. Stu says he's right.

Sinner And Saint (Judas Icarus & Travis Williams) vs. 1st Faction (Brent Banks & Sheldon Jean)

Bryce Hansen is with First Faction.

BB piefaces Trav. Trav walks back and forth and points at him. Trav then hits punches. He drops him and does a weird shuffle. Judas goes to tag in and gets hit by Jean after making the tag. Trav is held for a punch to the gut. Trave lariats BB. Trav then springboard dropkicks Jean. Trav topes Jean outside.

Judas running lariats BB. BB cradles Trav for 2 and superkicks him. BB takes an enzugiri + dropkick combo in the corner. BB takes a flying kick + angel's wings and is pinned.

Thoughts
: It was a short one here with Sinner and Saint winning pretty quick. They really like shorter matches on this show and it was one of them. Trav and Judas were acting a little different here in TNA and them getting a win in their debut was good. The match was just a match.

Psycho Mike says someone is talking to him everywhere he goes. He says he hopes it's someone anyway. We then see clips of some masked guy appearing behind him in the stands. The voice tells him the world keeps losing him as he keeps asking for permission.

The former Nikki Storm comes up to Priscilla Kelly while she is being interviewed. She talks about her losing and says she will dedicate the match to PK. She says she might make PK her first title match. PK says she might have won the match but Nikki held the ref's foot. PK says she has a title match next week because of it and says she might give Nikki the shot instead.

MLP Canadian Tag Team Title #1 Contendership Four Way Match - Capitan Suicida & Neon vs. The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson) vs. Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) vs. Subculture (Flash Morgan Webster & Mark Andrews)

Drake hits shots on Neon. Drake shoulders him over. Neon walks up the ropes and flips over him. Neon flying headscissors him. Neon boots him out of the corner. Cap top rope crossbodies Drake for 2.

Mark comes in. He and Cap escape out of wristlocks and moves. They each get pin attempts. Zack hammerlocks Mark. Zack takes a double hiptoss then a standing moonsault. Flash hits chops on Zack. Drake trips Flash and Zack baseball slides him.

Doc facekicks Drake and corner splashes Zach. Doc sends the luchadores over the top. Flash takes a neckbreaker + backdrop combo. We go to break and return.

Neon top rope diving headscissors Drake. Neon is popped up into a double dropkick. Neon 619's Mark. Neon standing spnaish flies Drake. Cap top rope swantons Drake for 2. Subculture are dropkicked off the apron. Cap takes a samoan drop + flying knee combo for 2.

Mark rolls Zack and tornado ddt's Drake off of it. Karl euros Neon over. Cap enzugiri's Karl. Doc high kicks Cap. Neon top rope dropkicks Doc.

Subculture and The Vets trade shots in the ring. Mark hits a double stunner off a suplex attempt. Mark topes Drake outside. Flash top rope swantons Zack's back for 2. Neon top rope crossbodies Karl then pump icks him. Cap flying headscissors Karl down. Neon and Cap do dives outside onto The Good Brothers.

Doc double suplexes the luchadores on the ramp. Flash headbutts Zack in the chest. Mark rolls up Zack for 2. Mark takes a double stungun then a 2 person single leg codebreaker from The Vets. Drake pins Mark.

Thoughts:
It was very fast paced. This didn't get enough time. It had a lot of flying here. What we got was fine just with more time, it could have been a lot better. Anyone could have won here since this was random. It worked pretty well with all the different styles involved and the flow was good.

Evil Uno tells Josh Alexander he's happy he's back. He asks why Josh ruined Stu's big moment. Stu says he knows and Uno says he's better than that. Josh says that's the pressure you deal with as champ and says Stu's the interim champ only.

Steve Maclin attacks Adam Copeland backstage at Dynamite. I think Steve maces him and throws him into boxes. Steve then hits mounted shots on him. Steve then bangs Cope's head off a box.

Josh Alexander comes out to talk. Josh says he tore his knee to pieces 5 months ago and couldn't stand. He says he has good news but Stu Grayson interrupts. Stu gets in the ring. He says they didn't get to talk last time but he's here to fight. He says fighting is something Josh can't do.

Stu tells him if he can't give him what he wants, don't waste his time. Josh says he doesn't get this angry version of Stu. Josh says he's officially cleared. Stu says let's do it now. Josh says the match is happening but says it will happen on October 3rd.

Josh says Stu needs to be at his best and says he and the people deserve it. Josh says he will dog walk him and send him to the back of the line if he doesn't show up at his best, where he belongs. Stu punches him and Josh leaves the ring.  Don Callis then talks to Josh on the stage.

Overall thoughts: This was a fast paced and shorter show. We had 3 matches here. Idolo/TJP was short and acceptable but no one's best work. Sinner and Saint got a big upset of First Faction in another short one. The 4-way tag match worked out well with some very fast paced action. The 4 teams worked together and what we got was fine. We then had a talking segment to close the show which was nothing too special. I'd give it a 6 out of 10. What we got was okay enough. The tag match was the best match on the show.
