Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/09/lm52-lucha-libre-mexicana-on-discovery_01233405920.html

Leobardo Magadan and Alberto Zamudio are our hosts.

The hosts talk.

We see a 5 second clip of Halcon Soriano Jr. in the ring.

Rey Fontes vs Halcon Soriano Jr.

They lock up and trade some basic holds. Rey wristlocks him, Hal trips him and grabs his ankle. Rey then does the same. Hal misses a corner attack and takes armdrags. Rey dropkicks him out of the ring then topes him. Rey goes for another dive and Hal stops him. Hal chops him down and wastelands him. Hal double jump moonsaults him for 2.

Hal chops Rey down and wasteland's him. Hal slingshot swantons him for 2. Rey flying headscissors him. Hal misses a corner charge goes into the post and goes out. Rey tope con hilos him.

Rey chops him outside and slams him for 2. They trade shots on their knees then crossbody each other at the same time. Hal spin kicks him then topes him outside.

Rey goes up and over and does headflips. Hal sweeps him on the apron and baseball slides him off the apron. Rey goes on the floor under the stage and Hal cannonballs him from the stage.

They get back in and Hal chops him. Hal rolling armbars him and Rey submits.

Thoughts: The finish was a bit random. What we got was acceptable, but nothing too special. Halcon was definitely leading this one along some here. I would have liked to have seen more arm work before the finish.

Halcon Soriano Jr. is interviewed after.

Rey Fontes is interviewed after.

Aguila Oriental Jr. vs Estrella de Oro vs Eddie Maceyra vs Nortenito

All 4 men trade shots in the ring. Oro is popped up into a headscissors. AO and Nort go at it. Both get tripped and pulled out together. Oro flying headscissors Eddie. AO top rope diving armdrags Oro then topes him outside. Eddie runs into a Nort superkick.

Nort swinging side slams Eddie for 2. AO dropkicks Nort in the knee. AO top rope double stomps Nort for 2. Oro drops AO on his stomach for 2. Eddie catches Oro's flying headscissors and sitout powerbombs him.

Eddie hits forearms on Nort and Nort dropkicks him out. Oro asai moonsaults Eddie outside. AO spin kicks and euros Nort. Nort flying forearms him. Oro cutters AO of the bottom rope and Eddie codebreakers Nort off the bottom rope. Oro shoulders Eddie over.

Oro throws Eddie out. Oro corner lariats Nort. AO is popped up top with Nort. Oro step up tope con hilos Eddie outside. Nort 2nd rope double underhook drops AO and pins him.

Thoughts: It was fine. It didn't get a ton of time though. Everyone got a spot or two in before we went home and they couldn't do a lot else. Nort had been on this show before and I guess they liked him enough to put him over in this random bout.

Nort dances and celebrates after.

The hosts talk.

Nortenito is interviewed.

Cibernetico talks to Hell (?) in the back as they watch tv. An wrestler talks to them. That wrestler is completely blurred out and he leaves.

They then shows us clips from the next episode with some celebrities talking in the ring. Two of them end up arguing. One pulls the other down from the buckles. Hell and then someone else comes out and grabs them. A big fight breaks out. Nortenito and another wrestler join in. and the wrestlers separate the celebs.

The hosts talk.

We then see a music video to close the show.

Overall thoughts: It was a very short episode here. I'm guessing they just ran out of footage and more ads were aired instead. There were only 2 matches on this show The opener was acceptable. The men's 4-way was the best match here and that was fine. We then had some angle with Mexican celebs after. I wouldn't recommend this one and would give it a 5 out of 10 total as it was average.
