EPW Wrestling Unleashed 8/8/2026 Episode #254

The hosts hype up the show. 

Marko Harris vs Kale

Kale misses a running kick. MK hits chops, slaps and a spin kick to the gut. Kale boots him out of the corner. Kale sunset flips him for 2. Kale side headlocks him. Kale kicks him in the back and rolls with a back elbow on him while he's seated. 

Kale pulls MK's arms back. MK tries a bridge pin for 2. Kale dropkicks him then slingblades him for 2. MK takes a spinning back elbow to the face. Kale cradles him for 2. Kale forearms him down. MK blocks a running knee. MK hits a chaos theory german. 

We go to break and return. M is stuck in the corner and Kale running leg lariats him there for 2. Kale misses a running knee in the corner. MK os cutters him. MK fisherman busters him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was average. It looked like it was going to turn up in the middle of it but they never fully were on the same page here. There were a lot of shots that weren't blocked or hit like they were supposed to be. 

Alex Pounds interviews Marko Harris after. Marko says the gold is on his mind. He says he gave everyone long enough to run the game and it's still the same. He says he will change that like he always does. He says hangtime is now. 

Marko is asked about The Order. He says no one cares about them. He says he's been too worried about them and says they don't have gold anymore. He says Dorian Vain is in the back of the line like everyone else while he cases the EPW World Title. He tells Aaron Roberts to keep the title nice for him. 

The Blacklist of Cody James and Chris Styles are interviewed. Cody says he's fine from his concussion and has been getting hit in the head for 10 years. He says he's ready and says Chris stays ready. He says The Initiative can't get over them unless they sneak up on them. Cody says they will play dirty and says they walked into a war. Cody says they walked into their house and will get one heck of a housewarming gift.

Chuck Swann vs Xero

Xero armdrags him off a waistlock takedown. Xero does a bad seated springboard takeover. Xero misses a corner charge and Chuck rolls him for 2. Xero misses a top rope dropkick.  Chuck misses a dancing capoeira legdrop. Chuck armdrags him and step up knees him in the corner.

Chuck PK's him then legdrops him for 2. Xero superkicks him in the gut. Chuck hooks his leg with his head and fisherman suplexes him for 2. Chuck's head is banged off the buckles. Xero slingshot swantons him for 2. Chuck uranage's him for 2. 

Xero running euros him in the corner. Xero hits a superkick to the gut and bulldogs him. Xero rebound splashes him off the ropes for 2. They trade punches.  Xero dropicks him in the knee then 619's him. Xero slingshots but Chuck gets his knees up. Chuck then pins him.

Thoughts: They had some ideas here but they didn't go off as smooth as they should have. There were a lot of rough moments when there shouldn't have been. It was so-so, but maybe next time they will get it right.

Eli Knox is washing his face and hands in the bathroom. He looks in the mirror and sees Moses Cain behind him. He says to himself, "he's not here, it's okay".

The Order are interviewed. The interviewer Allen Pounds says Hollywood Jimmy is back after Aaron Roberts jumped on him. Jimmy says Aaron broke his ribs and put him in the hospital. Jimmy says he only thought about The Order in the hospital. He says he loves The Order more than his family and they are his family. He says he saw the light and the light told him to get rid of the weakest link. He says he had to fire Ethan Ross, as he is the weakest link. Izzy Rotten gets mad.

Jimmy says they have winners in The Order and points to Eli Knox. Izzy asks what about my partner? Jimmy says you can trust him and says he has a face you can trust. Jimmy says he has plenty of money and isn't like Downtown Bruno. He shows the money off and says he wants Aaron Roberts put out of the wrestling business. He says no one jumps on him like that. Jimmy says Aaron made the biggest mistake of his life. He says you don't mess with The Order and Jimmy and he will pay the consequences one way or the other. He says he will pay for what he did. 

Sevyn Cruz vs Bobby Ford vs Izzy Rotten

Jared X Rawlings is with Sev and has his arm in a sling.

Ford top rope crossbodies Izzy as he enters. Ford and Sev shake hands and lock up. Ford armdrags him and Sev armdrags him back. Izzy comes in and gets thrown out. Sev side headlocks Ford then shoulders him over. Ford double chops Sev. 

Sev 2nd rope facebusters Ford. Sev hits forearms on Ford. Ford russian legsweeps him. Ford top rope elbow drops Sev. Izzy throws Ford out, steals the pin on Sev and pins Sev to win.

Thoughts: It was a shorter one. What we got was fine here. Ford's top rope crossbody to start this one off was nice. 

Diana Taylor is interviewed by Sara Blake. She says Raven Black didn't deserve the Women's Title and she stole it. She says she can't stand thieves. She says Raven's disrespect ain't gonna happen. Diana says she's stealing the next chance at the title. She says she's always in the hunt for the title as she has been here and put in all the work. She says she does the work, puts in the effort and won't take the disrespect.

CJ Thomas vs "Action" Mike Jackson

CJ wristlocks him and takes him over by the wrist. CJ armdrags him then MJ armdrags him back. CJ backs off in the corner. MJ then taunts him.

CJ boots Mike in the gut and hits corner spears. CJ runs into a boot out of the corner. Mike running lariats him then lariats him over the top rope. We go to break and return.

CJ eye rakes MJ and bearhugs him. CJ boots him out of the ring. MJ's head is banged off the apron and CJ chokes him. CJ misses a lariat outside amd lariats the post. Mike bangs CJ's arm off the apron. CJ's arm is banged off the rails. 

MJ makes his comeback. MJ walks the top rope and clubs his arm. MJ then pulls down his straps. CJ drinks something from his cup. MJ hits punches on CJ and CJ spits the drink out. MJ rolls up CJ and pins him while holding the tights.

Thoughts: At least CJ didn't lose clean here as Mike pulled the tights. It was fine. Mike did his usual stuff and was a decent face. CJ did what he could to put him over and make him look good.

Overall thoughts: Kale/Marko was average as they just weren't on the same here. Xero/Swann was a similar situation. Ethan Ross is out of The Order which is some interesting news that I'd like to know more about. Bobby Ford's three-way bout was fine and the main was fine as well. I liked the show as a whole. It was easy to watch, the commentary is always good and I had fun. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 overall and it was alright. I just wish the first two matches were a little better.
