Pedro Portillo III does a promo. He says it's uncomfortable for him to know that people think he has no feelings and values. He says it's hard to tell people he's the best. He says it's different for Luis Perez. He says their difference isn't vision but behavior.  He says he would never disrespect people like he did. He says if he touches him he's the bad guy. He says he doesn't care and has no worries. He's that king of guy and is happy to be the most hated guy in PR. He says he's the guy who will bring and take Luis Perez out of IWA. He says he's the best wrestler the country has had for the last 25 years.

We then see clips of Pedro slapping Luis and Luis saying he will beat him and take his head with the fans' support.

IWA Tag Titles - Super Atomo and El Gladiador Boricua (c) vs Cesar Aldea and Vulkano

Note - So Edrax Torres and Aldea were the tag champs heading into the 5/16 El Gran Festival de Lucha Libre show. They had an open challenge match. It appears that they lost the tag titles at that show to Super Atomo and El Gladidor Boricua, who answered the open challenge. But, that bout didn't air and it wasn't mentioned. It's also unknown why Atomo and Boricua are fighting on this show again. Suffice to say, I am very confused.

Boricua and CA lock up. CA side headlocks him. CA shoulders him over. Boricua hiptosses and dropkicks him. Boricua and CA trade punches outside. Boricua hits punches on CA then CA lariats him. Boricua is held in the corner for punches from Vulk. Vulk foot chokes him and CA gets some cheap shots in. 

Vulk chops Boricua and lariats him down. Vulk suplexes Boricua for 2. Vulk boots and stomps Boricua. CA hits corner spears on Boricua then snapmares him. CA chinlocks him. 

Boricua hits CA in the gut then they double clothesline each other. Atomo tags in. He hits shots on Vulk then flying headscissors him. Atomo corkscrew kicks Vulk. Atomo top rope crossbodies Vulk for 2. Atomo and CA trade punches. CA black hole slams him.

Boricua flying shoulders CA twice. Boricua shoulders him over and superkicks him. Vulk spinebusters Boricua. Atomo hits shots on Vulk in the corner then Vulk hits shots back. CA and Atomo are whipped into each other. Boricua jumping codebreakers Vulk and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a simple and basic match. It was acceptable but completely forgettable. The faces got beaten up, made their comeback and won.

Super Atomo does a promo on El Mexica. He says he is fighting El Mexica, who is agile, fierce, dangerous and has been around the world. He says he knows he's coming here for a title match. He tells Mexica to understand that if he thinks he will come here and implant Aztec blood in his territory, you are wrong. He says Puerto Rico is not intimidated and they are not afraid of anyone. He says Mexica is facing an entire nation. He tells him to be well prepared because it cost him blood and tears to obtain and he won't let Mexica take it.

We get a video on Ricky Banderas' career. They say he is reuniting with his brother Glamour Boy Shane and they say Ricky wants to re-claim his IWA World Title. 

Mr. Iguana says he's coming soon to IWA with La Yesca.

We see clips of Atomo and Boricua being beaten up by Manu, Savio Vega and Aldea after their match. Vega says they wanted to be champs and their's their title. Pupe Jackson runs down with a kendo tick and the heels run. Pupe says he wants a shot at Manu's title. Manu says he accepts. Vega says he will be the special ref.

IWA World Title - Special Ref is Savio Vega - Manu (c) vs Pupe Jackson

Pupe runs in, slides between the legs and hits punches on Manu. Pupe armdrags him and dropkicks him out. Pupe chops him outside and Manu chops back. Pupe punches Manu in the ring. Pupe is tripped into the buckles and takes a german for 2. 

Manu rakes Pupe's eyes with his feet. Manu hits mounted shots on Pupe. Manu chops Pupe. Pupe no sells it and chops back. Manu eye pokes him then lariats him. Manu suplexes Pupe for 2. Manu chinlocks Pupe then flatliners him. Manu does a koji clutch. Pupe fights out of the hold. 

Pupe hits back elbows on Manu. Manu ddt's him. Manu goes up top and Pupe overhead throws him down. Pupe hits punches on Manu then back body drops him. Manu 2nd rope twisting crossbodies him. Vega slow counts Pupe for 2. Pupe cutters Manu. Vega slow counts again for Pupe for a 2 count.

Pupe argues with Vega. Manu goes up and over Pupe then dropkicks him in the corner. Manu blue thunders Pupe for 2. Pupe michinoku drivers him for 2. Pupe top rope elbow drops Manu. Vega is refusing to count the pin and argues with Pupe instead. Jose Navarro then runs in and rainmakers Pupe. Vega of course somehow doesn't see it. Manu snetons Pupe and pins him.

Thoughts: We've seen a couple of this matches with Vega as the special ref. They all have gone similarly. Vega slow counts the faces, fast counts the heels and makes it impossible to win. It makes sense but you can only see it so many times. They had an alright match otherwise with Pupe getting close to pulling off the win before his former partner Navarro cost him the bout. 

We see a replay of some of Ricky Banderas' promo from last week. Banderas says welcome to the world of El Mesias. He says there will be a new story that he will write. He says no matter what excuse El Dragon Nihan has, he swears that Nihan will face him. He says Savio Vega is on the same path. Ricky says the title Manu has will be his. Ricky says he's not alone as he has Glamour Boy Shane with him and he's his lifelong friend. He says Shane has always been with him in his worst moments. He says he will put an end to Vega and his people. He says there will be a new era on 6/6 whether Vega likes it or not.  

Overall thoughts: I really wish they would have aired some of their recent tag title changes. Even clips would have been fine. It makes it hard to follow along when title changes aren't aired. We only had 2 new matches were and some replayed promos. Both matches were random and fine but they were simpler matches and they were nothing must see. Vega being a heel ref is getting old and I hope it is stopped soon. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 overall and it was acceptable.
