We are in Charleston, WV. Paul Wight, Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness are on commentary.

Jon Moxley does a promo. He says Will Ospreay chose conflict and there may be collateral. He says everything is Will's responsibility now. He says his problem with the match isn't that he will lose, it's that he might win. He says he gave Will everything he had. He says he's climbed up from hell and nobody understands the cliff Will will fall off of at All Out. He says the Universe's pull is gentle but then it pulls hard and that's gravity.

AEW TNT Title - Darby Allin (c) vs Myron Reed 

They slap hands. DA waistlocks him. Reed rolls him up for 2 counts. DA side headlocks him. DA springboard diving armdrags him out. DA goes for a dive, slingshots in and they stand off. 

DA misses a shot on Reed and Reed enzugiri's him. DA shotgun dropkicks him into the corner. DA goes up top, gets swept and takes a horrible bump where he goes face first into the apron. Reed then tope con hilos out of the corner on him outside.

We go to PiP break and return. DA superplexes Reed. DA chops him outside. Reed jumps off the steps backwards and kicking him. Reed then does his F-5 into a bridging flatliner from the rail. DA code red's him in the ring for 2. DA hits a hard tope on him outside. DA goes for another tope and Reed cutters him on the floor. 

DA is on the apron and Reed jumps over the top and cutters him on the floor. Reed top rope 450's DA for 2. Reed jumping kicks DA off the apron. Reed tries to tope con hilo DA but lands on an open chair outside. DA top rope coffin drop's Reed in the ring and pins him.

Thoughts: This was a wild one with them both taking big bumps. DA hit a nasty tope and landed on his head on the apron. Reed tope con hilo'd a chair and did his cutter over the top rope to the floor. It was quite spectacular and had a ton of highlights. It wasn't smart and the selling wasn't good but this was crazy enough that I'd still say this was good Reed's really gaining stock in these singles matches on Collision and if they keep giving him time to shine, he may get somewhere in AEW on his own. Paul Wight was popping like crazy for Reed here.

Steven Borden, Darby and Zach Wentz all check on Reed after. Darby shakes Reed's hand. Darby gets on the mic and says let's give it up to Myron. He says Reed showed everyone that he belonged tonight. 

Darby tells Borden that teaming with his dad was one of the best moments of his life. He says him and Borden have a chance to get a shot at the tag titles he and Sting never lost. Darby says they are jumping into the fire at All Out.

Borden says he knows how much Darby winning the tag titles meant. He says he's still new to this. He says he will lay whatever he has to offer on he line to make Darby tag champ again. He says if they can win the titles, they are checking 2 boxes - being tag champ and being tag champ with Darby as his partner. Borden says let's go take the #1 Contender spot and the tag titles.

We get a video on Tomasso Ciampa vs Kazuchika Okaa.

We hear from The Don Callis Family after Dynamite. Don says Stokeley Hathaway lost them the match but his boys are in pristine shape. He tells his boys to beat Darby and Borden and get the tag titles home. Kevin says he didn't trust teaming with the flamingo in Kyle but it's time they rectify the situation with the tag titles. Kyle says he didn't trust the vision but it's working. He says all they have to do is beat Borden and Darby and they will cake walk them at All Out. He says they will bring gold back to the family which might be needed after if Okada loses to Ciampa. Okada tells Ciampa to be careful what he wishes for as he's got The Rainmaker. He says he won't be taking his title. 

The Bang Bang Gang talk and Juice blows a whistle. Jucie says their current record is nothing to be proud of. He says they lost last week but they are still a team and their boss owns an NFL football team. Juice says they challenge The Dogs and The Death Riders to a tailgate brawl. He says anything goes. This would be before the PPV next week as the pre-show will be called the Tailgate Brawl.

Thekla vs Zayda Steel

Willow Nightingale is on commentary.

Thek hits her and is taken down. Zay hits mounted shots on her. Zay bends over and is kicked. Zay bodyblocks her down.  Thek hits Zay in the gut then clubs her back. Thek suplexes her for 2. 

Thek backs up Zay on the ropes. Thek codebreakers her over the 2nd rope for 2. Zay is tripped into the ropes and Thek running facekicks her out of the ring. Thek double stomps her back from the apron.

We go to PiP break, full break and return. Thek gets in Willow's face outside. Zay baseball slides Thek. Thek boots Zay out of the corner and hanging headscisosrs her over the top. 

Zay thesz presses her and hits mounted shots. Zay flurries her with forearms and kneelifts her. Zay cutters her for 2.  Thek throws her down backwards. Zay TKO's her for 2. Zay stomps her. Zay hit elbows on her on the top buckle. 

Thek is in tree of woe and Zay crossbodies her. Zay top rope double stomps her down as she hangs for a 2 count. Thek bridges out of a lariat then spider waks. Thek spears her and pulls her up on the pin attempt. Thek then curbstomps her and pins her.

Thoughts: I liked it. Zay showed some aggression and put up a bit of a fight before going down. Thek was solid as usual. It was a nice little underdog vs favorite match and one of Zayda's better bouts. This was okay.

We get a video on Thekla vs Willow.

PAC vs Adam Priest

Pac running back elbows him and bangs AP's head off the buckles. Pac running euros him. AP lariats him down. AP chops him in the corner and hits him in the knee. AP half crabs him. 

Pac rebound germans him. Pac stomps AP and foot chokes him.  Pac snap suplexes him for 2. Pac knee chokes him and side headlocks him. Pac side headlocks him. Pac spin kicks him in the gut a few times and AP drgon screws him. AP cradles him for 2 and is lariated down.

Pac pump kicks him in the corner then tombstones him. Pac brutalizers him and submits him.

Thoughts: It was a short one with Pac winning as expected. AP worked the knee a bit before going down. It wasn't anything too special.

TNT National Title - Andrade El Idolo (c) vs Daniel Garcia

Idolo gets "How you know?" chants to start.

Idolo waistlocks him. DG wristlocks him and Idolo reverses it. DG backs him up in the corner and asks him how he knows? He then face shoves him. Idolo takes him down and slaps him in the back of the head. 

They test strength. DG throws him into the ropes and Idolo poses on the ropes. DG forearms him then clubs and stomps him. Idolo boots him out of the corner and flying headscissors DG out. Idolo slingshot plancha's him outside.

We go to PiP break and return. DG corner lariats Idolo then hits mounted corner punches. Idolo suplexes him. Idolo back elbows him then DG sleepers him on the apron. DG boots him off the apron into the rails.

DG then tries to take his own selfie with a girl in the front row. Shafir threatens DG. They trade shots. Idolo lariats him down in the ring and flying forearms him. Idolo back body drops DG out. Idolo takes his pants off. Idolo springboard triangle tornillos him outside.

Idolo misses a corner meteora. DG rolls him up for 2. Idolo hits 2 suplexes and DG grounded sleepers him. Idolo does a top rope moonsault into a standing moonsault for 2. DG rolls him into a pin attempt. They definitely seem to both pin each other but the ref gives Idolo the pin.

Thoughts: Tony Schiavone thought there was a pin here before the pin that was counted and I kind of agree. Not sure what happened, but it seemed like the ref counted the pin twice. I was fine with this match. It was competitive and DG got snippy with Idolo. Idolo did his usual flying as well.

Idolo and DG to shake hands and The Death Riders jump Idolo after. Pac says he beat Idolo once and can do it again. He says he's challenging him to a match next week at All Out. Pac gives him the mic to say something then Pac pump kicks Idolo. Idolo is then group stomped on. Francesco Akira comes in to help and he faces a 5v1. He gets the edge on Claudio for a bit then Shafir chokes Akira from the apron. Akira then is group stomped on. Claudio hits backbeakers on Akira. Mike Bailey comes out with a chair to break it up. 

Mike Bailey vs Wheeler Yuta

Yuta takes him down by the arm. Mike waistlock takedowns him. Mike wristlocks him and Yuta pulls him down by the hair. Mike flying headscissors Yuta. Mike chops Yuta outside. Mike is popped up onto the steps. 

Mike's head is banged off the steps. Yuta stands on Mike's ankle on the bottom rope connector. Yuta foot stomps him. Mike 2nd rope dropkicks him. Mike spin kicks him and chest kicks him down. Mike running ssp's him for 2.

Mike goes for the armbar. Yuta germans Mike for 2. Mike legsweeps him on the apron then triangle asai moonsaults him outside. 

We go to PiP break, full break and return. Yuta top rope backdrops him. Yuta chops him and they trade forearms. Yuta armdrags him and eventually turns it into a pin attempt for 2. Mike spinning roundhouse kicks him. Mike falcon arrows him. Mike misses a top rope ssp. Mike rolling armbars him. Yuta tries pin attempts while in the hold.

Yuta rolls him up for 2. Mike pump kicks him. Mike hurricanrana's him and they both try pins. Mike sunset flips him while trapping the limbs and he pins him.

Thoughts: The selling could have been a little better here. It was competitive and the constant pin attempts made it engaging. It was alright.

Yuta nails Mike after and stomps him. The Death Riders and The Dogs then join in. The Bang Bang Gang then come out and all of them fight. Security and refs come out to try and stop it.

Jack Perry does a video outside with a red filter. He says  he's on the other side of the unknown and he needs to walk with killers. He says he must face the best to become the best and puts a knife in a tree.

The Opps do a promo. Hook says he has known Jack Perry for a long time and asks what he's doing by asking for a match with Samoa Joe. Action Andretti says he needs to be careful what he wishes for. Bowens says they had a different idea when Jack smeared Joe's name on the wall. They bring it Shibata. Hook says everything Jack is looking for is here in Shibata. Bowens tells him to get through Shibata to talk to Joe.

Queen Aminata and Mina Shirakawa vs Georgia South and Emily Jaye

Mina and Queen were teaming together then fought each other on a recent show.

South has the red hair and trades holds with Queen. Queen wristlocks her and South rolls and headflips out. South then reverses it. Queen lariats her. Mina dances and basement dropkicks South. 

Queen and Mina duck lariats and shimmy together. The jobbers try to PK them but miss. They then take back elbows. Mina's team then both does chocolate kisses but Mina falls. Mina's team then dances. South takes forearms and a Mina high kick. Queen headbutts South down. Mina lifting sitout reverse ddt's South. Mina figure fours Emily and Queen top rope double stomps Emily. Queen running knees  South hard against the ropes and pins her.

Thoughts: Mina and Queen are both happy to do raunchy stuff and they did a lot of that here. Jaye didn't get to do much here. I assume Mina and Queen will be a team for a bit. It was a squash with a lot of fan service.

Nick Wayne does a promo. He says he almost beat Jericho and says Jericho trying to shake his hand after p!sses him off. He says he sees through him. He says Jericho didn't teach him anything but he taught him something. He says maybe Jericho doesn't know what he doesn't know.

AEW Continental Title Eliminator - Jon Moxley vs Zachary Wentz

Mox top wristlocks Zach. Zach wristlocks him. Mox armbars him. Zach trips him and ankle locks him. Mox hits punches on Zach's gut and forearms him. Zach 2nd rope tornillo's Mox. Zach sweeps him and basement dropkicks him.

Zach handspring kicks Mox off the apron then slingshot tornillo's him outside. Mox cutters Zach. We go to PiP break and return. 

Mox hits running forearms on Wentz. Wentz flying pumping knees him. Zach hits flying forearms. They trade chops. Zach hits kicks and superkicks him in the face. Zach double stomps Mox's back. Zach step up knees him in the corner and PK's him. 

Zach 2nd rope blockbusters him for 2. Zach sweeps him into a half-crab. Mox grounded sleepers him. Zack handspring jumping knees him. Zach misses a tornillo off the buckles. Mox curbstomps him. Mox death rider ddt's him and pins him.

Thoughts: Mox won as expected. It went as you would think with Zach doing his signature offense before being put down. It was acceptable and the usual Mox match for the most part.

The Death Riders get in the ring after. 

Overall thoughts: It was the usual Collision with a bunch of random matches, but most of them were decent. The opener was good with tons of highlights though it had some issues.  Thekla/Zayda was an okay bout. Pac won a short squash that wasn't too special. I was fine with Idolo/Garcia. Mike/Yuta was alright. Queen and Mina did a tag that was them mostly dancing around and doing fan service. The main was acceptable. I'd give it a 7 out of 10. Most of the wrestling was fine even if it was random and even if few storylines were advanced. I was okay with mostly everything on here and it was a good show.
