AEW Collision 9/26/2026 All Out Tailgate Brawl 2026

We are in Chicago, IL. Taz, Excalibur and Tony Schiavone are on commentary.

Jack Perry vs Katsuyori Shibata

JP jumps in the front row with fans during his entrance.

KS side headlocks him and headscissors him. JP handstands to escape. They stand off after a KS pin attempt. JP armdrags him. They trade chops and JP goes down.

KS hits chops and JP boots him from the ropes. JP sits up top and is chopped down. We go to PiP break and return. KS hits chops. JP euros him. JP pounds on him and pushes his head into the buckles with his feet. 

JP flying knees KS against the ropes. They chop each other on the apron. JP suplexes him on the apron and floor. KS hurricanrana's him inside but JP rolls through. JP does an STF. 

KS hits chest kicks and JP dropkicks him. JP tiger drivers him for 2. JP flies at him and is knocked down. KS hits chops on JP in the corner. KS snapmares him, tries a chickenwing and JP backrolls into a pin on him. JP pins him.

Thoughts: Jack won as expected as Shibata never wins anything here and him losing would have ended Jack's storyline of wanting to face Joe. It wasn't a good choice for an opener as it wasn't too exciting and nothing suggested it would be that good on paper.

Jack yells for Samoa Joe after and asks where he is. The Opps come out minus Joe. Joe then comes out after. Joe gets in the ring. Joe stares Jack and goes to walk away. Jack shoves him and tells him to shake his hand. Joe then headbutts him.

Mina Shirakawa and Queen Aminata vs The Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart and Skye Blue)

Mina side headlocks Hart. Mina shoves her and Hart STO's her. Mina rolls her up. Mina ducks a shot and shimmies. Mina legsweeps her and kicks her. Queen and SB shove and forearm each other. Queen shoulders her down then hits chocolate kisses. Queen PK's her.

Mina slingshot tornillo's SB. Hart trips Mina. SB step up knees Mina on the ropes and ddt's her. We go to PiP break and return.  Mina flying lariats Hart and spinning forearms her. Mina flying headscissors SB. Mina top rope dropkicks Hart for 2.

SB takes shots from both opponents. Mina high kicks SB. Queen top rope double stomps SB. Hart and SB do stereo octopuses to their opponents. The faces hit stereo high angle reverse ddt's to break it up.

SB knees Queen in the face and Queen headbutts her. Mina spinning forearms Hart down then SB superkicks Mina. Queen twisting fisherman suplexes SB. SB rolls up Mina for 2. Mina spinning forearms SB then urakens her. SB rolls up Mina for 2. SB running boots Mina in the chest. SB hits a code blue on Mina and pins her.

Thoughts: SB was in her hometown here so she got the win. It was average and there wasn't any great logic or anything to it. They didn't botch too much and it didn't have too many issues.

Mick Foley interviews The Bang Bang Gang. Juice is acting and dressed up like a coach. He says Ace has tight quads. Juice says they will exploit their opponents defense. They say the lack of rules works in their favor and they will show they are the biggest gunslingers in town. Jay then does the "guns up" line and they get all fired up.

No DQ Tailgate Brawl - The Bang Bang Gang (Jay White, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn and Ace Austion) vs Daniel Garcia, David Finlay, Wheeler Yuta and Clark Connors

Clark and DF come down the stands and Clark has a keg. DG and Yuta wear football gear out. They then do a starting line-up intro with the heels saying their names and what college they went to like they do for football broadcasts.

The two teams do a football stance and charge at each other. Everyone fights. Ace rolls over Clark's back and dropkicks him. Jay back body drops DF. DF takes running corner attacks. Jay has the football snapped to him and Colten throws it at DF. 

Jay chops DF in the corner and DF bangs Jay's head off the apron. The heels then snap the football. Clark and DF shoulder people over with football shoulder pads. We go to PiP break and return. 

Jay takes running corner attacks. Ace avoids charges on the ramp. He throws a football at Yuta and spin kicks him in the face. Ace then spikes the football in the ring. Ace fosbury flops DG. Austin trips Clark and hits a version of natural selection on him. Austin ddt's DF. Jay top rope swantons onto multiple people outside. DF takes a 4v1 in the ring. DF takes a fameasser on a keg. 

Austin rolls up DF for 2. Shafir goes in the ring and yells at the ref. Juice Robinson then comes in and yells at her. Juice throws a red flag and Shafir hip throws him. They roll on the mat and go out. DF hits Austin in the head with a helmet for 2. 

Clark is pushed off the top and goes into a grill outside. Ace hits the fold on DF. DG takes a 310 to Yuma. Yuta rolls up  someone for 2 then Jay bladerunners Yuta and pins him.

Thoughts: It wasn't real serious and they did a lot of screwing around with football stuff. It would have been nice if it were more serious. It was a bit entertaining though and they did get creative. I didn't love it but I'd say it was acceptable.

Overall thoughts: The opener was a little below average. The women's tag match was average. The main was mostly comedy and had a lot of football references. It was entertaining to a degree and acceptable. I'm not sure how successful it was at being a pre-show as they didn't do a lot of hype here, but at least 2 of the bouts weren't totally random. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 overall and it was average.
