CMLL 9/25/2026 Noche De Campeones 2026

Ivan talks on the mic with a bunch of titles on podiums to start the show.

CMLL World Mini Estrella Title Match - Pequeno Volador Jr. (c) vs. Galaxy

Gal boots away a handshake. Vol takes him down. Vol does kip up's and kip down's and then poses. Gal backrolls and takes him down by the arm. Gal throws him by the arm and armdrags him. 

Gal armdrags Vol and Vol trips him. Gal headscissors him down. Gal hits kicks and enzugiri's him. Vol tope con hilos him outside. Gal is swept on the apron and send into the rails. Gal is laid on top of the rails and booted. They got back in. Vol catapults him into the ropes for 2. 

Gal dropkicks him in the knee and misses a springboard frogsplash. Vol gets a 2 count on him. Vol corner splashes him and corner meteora's him. Vol throws him by the head. Vol lariats him and running boots him. 

Gal is on the 2nd rope and Vol kicks him in the crotch. Vol headbutts Gal and puts his foot in his face. Vol enzugiri's him in the corner and rolling death valley drivers him. Gal springboard dropkicks him out. Gal then topes him into the rails. Gal then hits another tope.

Gal springboard diving hurricanrana's him. Gal tilt-a-whirl headscissors him. Gal is thrown out. Vol gets laid on the rail top and Gal springbaord splashes him there. Gal springboard crossbodies Vol for 2. 

Vol top rope moonsaults outside but Gal gets his feet up. Gal top rope hurricanrana's him down. Gal top rope splashes him but Vol gets his meet up. Vol backcrackers him. Vol ties his legs up and spins into a reverse figure four. Vol submits him.

Thoughts: I didn't like it. They did a bunch of spots and none of them meant anything as they just moved onto the next one. They also had a random submission finish.

Mexican National Middleweight Title Match - Guerrero Maya Jr. (c) vs. Rey Pegasus

They lock up. Maya armdrags him. Maya abdominal stretches him and Rey reverses it then tries a pin off of it. Maya drops him face first on the mat. Maya then camel clutches him. Rey escapes and camel clutches him. 

Maya spin kicks him in the gut and side headlocks him. Maya shoulders him over and Rey kips up. Maya flips out of a hiptoss. Maya flying headscissors him for 2. Maya rolls him up for 2. Rey slides out and Maya topes him.

Maya top rope crossbodies Rey then spears him from the side for 2. Maya bulldogs him from the side. Maya hits a bridging seated pedigree for 2. Rey walks up the buckles and evades him. Rey then walks up the buckles, drops down and 2nd rope diving headscissors him. Rey walks up the buckles and springboard plancha's him outside.

Rey springboard 450's Maya for 2. Maya sits up top. Rey does a weird springboard flip into a headscissors on him. Maya wrist-clutch abdominal stretch suplexes him for 2. Maya chops him on the apron then bangs Rey's head off the buckles. Maya goes up top and Rey springboard dropkicks him out.

Rey twisting rope walks, drops down and tornillo's him outside. Maya top rope tornillo's Rey inside for 2. Maya neckbreakers him over his knee. Rey jumps over him from the side and does a rolling armbar. Maya ropebreaks. Rey electric chair drivers him. Rey then springboard blind moonsaults him and pins him.

Thoughts: They ended it at the right time. I liked it for the most part. Rey hit his spots almost all clean and had a good showing here. He did a bunch of fancy flying and Maya took all of it. It was alright. 

Mexican National Tag Team Title Match - Los Depredadores (Black Tiger & Rugido) (c) vs. Los Viajeros Del Espacio (Futuro & Max Star)

BT gives one of the announcer's his jacket before the match.

BT waistlock takedowns Fut. Fut casadora armdrags him. Fut reverse spinning headscissors him. Fut trips him. BT armdrags him and cutters him. Max comes in and BT cutters him too. Mag comes in and does leg drags on Max. Max flying snapmares him.

The heels take headscissors out. All 4 men fight outside. The faces are popped up into each other. Fut takes running corner attacks. Fut is overhead belly to belly suplexed into the buckles. Max is double gorilla press slammed. Max is held in the air for a cutter for 2. BT facekicks Fut down then Fut is double stomped on by the heels.

Max superkicks BT and Fut springboard diving back armdrags BT. Fut spinning armdrags Mag out then Mag takes a bad armdrag out. Max step up springboard tope con hilos out onto the heels. Fut springboard tornillo's out onto the heels.

Max and Fut hit springboard splashes. Fut springboard moonsaults and Max springboard 450's. They both get 2o counts. Mag pop up drops Max and armdrags him. Fut canadian destroyer ddt's Mag. BT crucifix bombs and Fut poisonrana's BT. Max and Mag then springboard from opposite sides and double lariat each other in mid-air.

Fut hurricanrana's BT then topes him outside. BT sends Fut into the rails. Fut bodyscissors BT into the rails. Max springboard crossbodies Mag. Mag does a neat inside to outside 2nd rope springboard swanton outside. Max rope walks and top rope tornillo's outside.

Max and Fut hit stereo canadian destroyers then try code red's for 2 counts. BT and Mag are sent into each other. Fut and Max miss top rope moves. Mag germans Fut and pins him.

Thoughts: Like a lot of indy bouts, it started off okay but then kept going and ruined whatever good will it garnered. They did a ton of dives here but then when they started doing poisonrana's and canadian destroyer variations, it went downhill. I didn't like this that match but they had some cool moves.

World Historic Middleweight Title Match - Volador Jr. (c) vs. Villano III Jr.

They shake hands. They go to the mat and sweep each other. Vol spinning reverse headscissors him and V3 armdrags him. Vol armdrags him back. They then stand off. Vol flying headscissors him then topes him outside. V3 springboard dropkicks him inside. V3 springboard swantons him outside.

V3 pop up drops him and superkicks him. V3 argues with the ref. V3 thesz presses Vol and hits mounted shots. V3 pulls Vol's shirt off. Vol flying headscissors him. Vol PK's him from the apron. Vol 2nd rope moonsaults him outside. Vol top rope crossbodies V3. Vol then rolls him up for 2. Vol hurricanrana's him for 2. 

V3 goes up and over and sunset flips Vol for 2. V3 rolls up Vol for 2. V3 top rope twisting swantons Vol outside. V3 springboard swantons him inside. V3 top rope moonsaults him for 2. Vol superkicks him then backcrackers him for 2.  

Vol canadian destroyers V3 for 2. Vol goes up top and takes a step up knee. They go up top and V3 hurricanrana's him down for 2. V3 handstand seated moonsaults Vol for 2. V3 top rope moonsaults but Vol gets his feet up. Vol twisting canadian destroyers him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was nice to see the canadian destroyer pin someone for a change. It was similar to the other matches here with them doing a lot of big moves and big dives without any great logic to it. I didn't think it was that good.

Mexican National Light Heavyweight Title Match - Esfinge (c) vs. Vegas Depredador

Veg waistlock takedowns him. Esf hammerlocks him. They armdrag each other. Esf shoulderblocks him and Veg does it back to him. Esf flying headscissors him. Esf pumping knees him from the apron.

Esf is dropped face first on the buckles. Veg topes Esf. Veg dropkicks Esf in the knee. Veg drives Esf's knee into the mat. Veg blocks Esf's flying headscissors and drops him chest first on the mat for 2. 

Esf pumping knees him then lariats him down. Esf canadian destroyers him for 2. Esf wastelands him. Esf is up top and Veg enzugiri's him. Veg top rope superplexes him or 2. Veg flapjacks him and elbow drops his back for 2. 

Veg tries to unmask Esf on the buckles. Esf monkey flips Veg twice and bangs his head off the buckles. Veg bangs Esf's head into the buckles. Veg superkicks Esf. Veg misses a top rope dropkick. Esf springboard dropkicks him for 2. 

Esf superkicks Veg out. Esf springboard plancha's Veg outside. Esf hits 2 springboard splashes for 2. Esf ties up Veg's legs and Veg blocks his pin. Veg hits snake eyes on him then germans him. Veg hammerlocks him and rolls him into a pin. Veg then pins him.

Thoughts: Esfigne really tried here and sold the leg but Veg just quit working on it after he had focused on it early. This brought down the match. It also didn't help that it followed some other matches that were much more spectacular. This wasn't that good.

World Historic Light Heavyweight Title Match - Averno (c) vs. Soberano Jr.

Av kicks away a handshake. They lock up and let go. Sob side headlock takeovers him and Av ropebreaks. Sob shoulders him over then dropkicks him. They go out and Sob is back body dropped on the floor. 

They go on the buckles and Av unties Sob's mask. Av then bites him in the head. Av chops him against the rails. Sob is then crotched on the rail. Av throws him to the ramp and boots him over there. 

Av chops him in the corner. Av kicks him in the leg. Sob superkicks him. Sob flying headscissors him then tope con hilos him outside. Sob toyota rolls him for 2. Av is hanging on the 2nd rope and Sob 2nd rope moonsaults him for 2. 

Sob stomps him and Av rolling armbars him. They fight on the apron. Sob boots him. Av hits a high lifting pedigree on him on the apron. Sob enzugiri's him from the apron then Sob top rope tornillo's him inside. Av rolls through and rolls him up for 2. Av avoids Sob's offense then Sob 2nd rope bridging ddt's him. Sob slingshot splashes Av's back for 2. 

Sob superkicks him on the apron then ddt's him there. Sob fosbury flops him outside. They fight on the buckles and Av 2nd rope superplexes him for 2. Sob facekicks him then rolls into a code red on him for 2. Sob top rope tornillo's him. Sob then fire thunder drivers him. Av low blows Sob, unmasks him and pins him.

Thoughts: I didn't like the finish so much. Av took a finisher, completely no sold it and picked up the win seconds later. I'm glad they had a little structure to this with clear heels and faces though and it was a bit more watchable than some of the other bouts here. Soberano loses again as is customary around here. It wasn't that bad. 

Mexican National Women's Tag Team Title Match - Kira & Skadi (c) vs. Las Valientitas (Hera & Olympia)

Kira flying headscissors Hera out, then she 619's Olym. They all go to the ramp and Skadi springboard double back elbows them. Kira climbs the top of the stage and plancha's her oopponents.

Hera's team is thrown in the ring. Kira's team tries pins for 2 counts. Kira is popped up and caught with a buckle bomb by Hera. Hera is popped up into a dropkick on Skadi. Hera's team tries pins for 2 counts.

Skadi enzugiri's Olym in the corner and Kira sueprkicks Olym. Kira spinebusters Hera. Kira wlaks up the buckles then walks off Skadi's back into a double stomp on Hera. Skadi spears Olym and Skadi's team gets 2 counts.

Olym dropkicks Skadi. Olym wastelands Kira then moonsaults her off of Skadi. Hera's team then gets 2 count on their opponents. Olym dropkicks Kira off the apron. Hera asai moonsaults Kira. Olym springboard plancha's Skadi outside.

Hera comes off the 2nd rope and is powerbobmed by Skadi. Kira is popped up into a headscissors on Hera. Skadi stands on Hera's back. Kira goes up top and does an assisted splash on Olym for 2. 

Skadi and Olym trade shots on the apron. Skadi powerbombs her on the apron. Skadi chops Hera outside then sends her into the rails. Kira top rope moonsaults outside onto both opponents.

Kira is popped up to the top rope. She pounds on Hera. Kira's top rope moonsault is caught and she gets slammed. Hera does a top rope dropkick into a splash on Kira for 2. Olym corner headstand pendulum bronco busters Skadi for 2.

Kira is popped up onto Skadi's shoulders. She jumps off onto the top rope and plancha's outside. Skadi springboard reverse topes Olym for 2. Kira superplexes Olym. Hera 2nd rope splashes Skadi and Hera's team get 2 counts. 

Kira and Hera trade chops. Kira topes Olym. Olym sitout slams Hera for 2. Kira misses a 2nd rope moonsault. Skadi 2nd rope back body drops Olym but Skadi sells it for some reason and kicks out at 2. Kira springboard diving codebreakers Hera. Skadi enzugiri's Olym. Kira gets on Skadi's shoulders on the 2nd rope and Kira splashes Hera while Skadi splashes Olym. Both get 2 counts.

Skadi chops Olym in the corner. Olym samoan drops Skadi. Kira is double gorilla pressed and dropped on Skadi. Kira is then swung upside down onto Skadi. Her and Olym pick up stereo pins to win.

Thoughts: Aside from the spot where Olym took a 2nd rope back body drop from Skadi, it went well. The girls hit their spots clean and Kira did a bunch of risky moves that paid off. The flow towards the various spots could  have been better, but this went about as well as it could have. I thought it was the match of the night and I'd say it was good. They really went all out here and things went mostly as planned.

Hera brings a baby out from the audience after.

Overall thoughts: It was a longer show and it was a bit tough to get through. We saw similar versions of the same match four times in a row and that got old fast. It didn't help that those bouts weren't too good either. The women's match was clearly the match of the night and I'd say Maya/Pegasus was the 2nd best bout. I'd give it a 4 out of 10 though overall and I didn't really like it as a whole. It was not that good, though the lineup on paper looked great.
