AEW Dynamite 8/26/2026

We are in Glasgow, Scotland. Excalibur and Tony Schiavone are on commentary. 

Will Ospreay comes out to talk. Will said he doubted if he could come back after surgery and doubted if he could win the big one. Will said he started in England and Scotland before coming to AEW and NJPW. He says he went through hard times to defend the UK and show it's where the best wrestle. He said he loved it. He talks about some UK wrestlers from the past. He says Kenny Omega isn't here tonight and says no one respects him more than him. 

He says he lost respect for him when he mentioned his step son. He says Kenny is getting "The Billy Goat" for sure. he says he will give him the match of his life. He says there's a dent that needs paid. He says it's time to bring it home. He says he will show that heroes are ordinary people that can do extraordinary things. He says he's taking it all on Sunday.  

AEW Continental Cup Semifinal - Jon Moxley vs Claudio Castagnoli

They do  double knuckle lock and go to the mat. CC hits chops and euros. Mox chops back. CC takes him down. CC forearms Mox down from the apron. Mox figure fours CC on the floor. CC giant swings him on the floor and into the rails. 

We go to PiP break and return. CC hits euros. Mox slaps him and throws him out. Mox topes him. Mox holds his arm and hits a corner lariat. Mox its mounted corner punches. CC euros him. They facekick each other and double clotheslline each other down. 

They trade shots and CC drops him. Mox cutters him. CC armbars him. CC swings him with a sleeper on the mat. Mox goes for an armbar on the mat. CC giant swings Mox. Mox cradles him for 2 and CC euros him down for 2. CC euros him and Mox goes out. Mox comes back in and is curbstomped. 

CC neutralizers him for 2. Mox double arm ddt's him for 1. Mox curbstomps him then hits a death rider ddt for 2. Mox bulldog chokes him and CC is out. Mox wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't super exciting. It was a slower match and I didn't think it was that good. The crowd didn't seem that into it either. They did some of each other's moves here and Mox won as expected. Mox seemed to hurt his left arm here, which isn't good with All In coming up.

The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and Adam Copeland vs The Don Callis Family (Brian Cage, Jake Doyle and Rocky Romero)

Cope side headlocks Jake. Cope hits shoulderblocks and Jake shoulders him back. Jake takes a double back elbow. The Bucks hit stereo bulldogs on Cage and Jake. RR takes a sunset flip + german. Cage is then held for a dropkkick which sends him off the apron. 

Jake is PK'd from the apron. RR takes a slingshot facebuster. Cage F-5's a Buck onto the apron. We go to PiP break and return. Cage a takes a spin kick from a Buck. Cage takes a 2nd rope hurricanrana. Cope comes in and flying shoulders Jake over. Cope hits shots on RR and Cage. Jake knocks his partners over on accident. Cope flapjacks Jake. Jake bodyblocks Cope. Jake is swept into a double superkick. Cage eats a double superkick. Cage rolls up Cope for 2. 

Cope takes running corner attacks. Cope takes a tower bridge, an F-5 and a shiranui for 2. Cage gets bridged on the 2nd rope and a takes a top rope swanton from a Buck. A Buck dropkicks Jake. Cage takes double superkicks and RR hits a double hurricanrana. RR poses then is double superkicked from behind. The Bucks hit  slingshot plancha's outside. Cope spears RR and pins him.

Thoughts: It was the usual Bucks match with them doing every spot they know and everyone else just kind of being there along for the ride. It was acceptable as it didn't go too long but I can't imagine Cope was real thrilled with this one. I was surprised Cope even teamed with The Bucks since they haven't been getting along. 

Christian Cage comes out after. Cage tells The Bucks to sit down and shut their mouths. Cage says they have been influential but aren't legends like them. Cage says some people call their match a dream match but it's another day at the office. He says they will find out the difference between influence and legendary. The Bucks say they have named things after them but asked if they ever named a company after them. A Buck says they accidentally superkicked him last time but it won't be one next time. 

Cage low blows a Buck and is superkicked. Cope then spears a Buck. Cage and Cope then hold their titles up.

Willow Nightingale is supposed to come out but Mercedes Mone drops her. Willow is holding her own wrist and hand. She says this is Willow's last Dynamite as champ. She says her smile will be gone for good on Sunday. 

Don Callis and Mark Davis are interviewed. Don says he's back from Croatia and feels refreshed. He says the winner of Omega/Ospreay will have a surprise. He says Mark Davis drew a number and if it's called, he will win the Casino Gauntlet and bring the title home. 

MJF initially comes out to Andrade El Idolo's music but then his music hits. MJF says it's great to be here in "Ireland" and he asks what the difference is? He says he paid off some people to warm up Andrade and he's not here. MJF says MJF is here though. 

MJF says he can do all the things Andrade does. He says finding a to woman here is impossible and offers to take a photo with a girl in the front row. He says he has to say a crappy catchphrase first. Andrade then shows up behind him and says his "How you know?" line. Andrade then nails MJF with the mic and hits knees to the gut. MJF then escapes up the ramp.

Chris Jericho does a promo. He says it's the biggest week in AEW history. He says he's the first AEW champ and knows how important that is. He says that's why he's entering the Casino Gauntlet. He says he wanted to get some momentum heading in and will be in a trios match on Collision. 

AEW Continental Cup Semifinal - Kyle O'Reilly vs Nigel McGuinness

Nigel trips him to start and Kyle tries to block it. Kyle then tries to trip him and Nigel just kind of walks out of it. Kyle takes him down by the wrist. 

Nigel snapmares him twice and Kyle wristlocks him. Nigel then gives Kyle the ref's arm and Kyle grabs her. Nigel headbutts him in the chest and euros him. Nigel throws him down by the arm. Kyle jumping knees him and legsweeps him.

Nigel's leg is banged off the apron edge. Kyle flying knees him off the apron. We go to PiP break and return. Nigel ankle locks him while holding the other leg. Nigel top wristlock takedowns him. Nigel tries rebound lariat and is knee'd in the gut. Kyle PK's him for 2. Kyle ankle locks him the nstomps the ankle into the mat. Kyle clips him then does a grounded sleeper. Kyle tries another pin on him.

They trade forearms. Kyle seems to have a busted cheek. Nigel euros him and rolls him up for 2. Nigel goes a crossface. Kyle lays while doing a half-crab and Nigel rope breaks. 

They trade forearms for euros. They bang heads and Nigel rebound lariats him for 2. Nigel then submits him with a london dungeon.

Thoughts: It was all technical wrestling here with some hard shots thrown in. Nigel worked the arm a bit before winning with an arm submission. The big news here was Kyle's cheek/area under the eye swelling up here. Nigel was the favorite going in as Britain is his home. I don't know if Nigel winning was really the best call for things storyline wise though. It was okay.

Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher are interviewed. Don says there's always competition amongst alpha athletes but he expects them to run the play. Kyle says he trusts Don. He says he's willing to run the play. He wonders if Okada will. Kazuchika Okada comes in. He says Kyle can trust him. Kyle says Okada didn't turst him last week when he got jumped. Okada says he's always thinking about himself and says, "Family Kyle, Family".

Maya World and The Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor) vs Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) and Persephone

Meg shoves Maya over then shoulders her over. Meg catches her in the air and overhead belly to belly suplexes her. Meg hits corner spears. Lena boots Maya in the corner. Pers running back elbows Maya.

Pers takes an atomic drop into a running boot to the face. Pers' head is banged off the buckles. Pers takes corner lariats. Maya jumps off of Alex's back onto Pers in the corner. Pers takes a double suplex. Maya 2nd rope moonsaults Pers. 

We go to break and return. Lena hits Jamie in the corner. Jamie takes facekicks in the corner and a german for 2. The Birds and Dominion fight. Meg and Jamie double lariat each other down. 

Maya comes in and flying headscissors Pers. Maya 2nd rope leg lariats Pers for 2. Maya casadora stunners Meg then takes a big pump kick from Lena. Everyone starts hitting a move in sequence and Meg flying lariats Jamie. 

Meg and Lena take germans. Pers hits a top rope double dropkick. Pers lariats Maya. Maya springboard stunners Pers. Jamie's crossbody is caught off the apron and Alex cannonballs them all down. Pers hits Maya in the face with the TBS Title. Pers top rope splashes Maya and pins her.

Thoughts: The finish was random with Pers beating Maya. I didn't expect that one. What we got was fine. Lena hit a stiff pump kick on Maya here. 

Swerve Strickland vs Jack Perry

JP side headlocks him. SS shoulders him over. JP then shoulders him over. JP flying headscissors SS then SS lariats him. SS chops him in the corner and JP chops back. SS pounds on him in the corner. 

SS blocks a sunset bomb and stomps JP. JP dropkicks him in the knee. JP's 2nd rope hurricanrana is blocked. JP is swung into the post, hitting his head off of it. We go to PiP break and return. 

SS 2nd rope euros him in the back of the neck. SS does a gori special variation. JP armdrags him out of the ring. JP shiranui's him on the floor. JP topes him twice then tope con hilos him. JP top rope moonsaults him.

They go back in. JP nearly takes a bad fall off a top rope moonsault in the ring and JP ddt's him. SS hits chops. JP superkicks him and SS flying single leg kicks him. SS top rope double stomps him but JP no sells it and STF's him. JP hurricanrana's him for 2. 

JP comes off the 2nd rope, takes a JML driver and is pinned.

Thoughts: They had some messy moments here and the finish was kind of messed up. Swerve just couldn't catch him like he was supposed to and it brought this one down. Swerve won here but his booking has been all over the place and this didn't do much for him.

We get a video on Will Ospreay vs Kenny Omega.

 Overall thoughts: Kenny Omega didn't show up here. There's no excuse for it. This is the last Dynamite before the biggest show of the year and he's in the main event. That's just no acceptable in 2026. It was a bit of a weird card otherwise. It was heavy on the wrestling and because it was the go home show, we didn't get a lot of developments. I really don't get why Mox/CC was the opener instead of the main since it was the biggest match on here. The crowd was either quiet or not mic'd well here also. 

I didn't like Mox/CC and thought it was boring. Cope's trios tag was fine as was Kyle/Nigel.The women's trios match was also alright. The main wasn't that good with Swerve struggling to catch Jack Perry multiple times which hurt the match. 

I'd give it a 5 out of 10. It didn't do much to hype me up for All In and the show just felt off. I thought it was average.

United Empire (Will Ospreay, Franceso Akira and HENARE) vs The Don Callis Family (Brian Cage, Rocky Romero and Lance Archer)

Cage hits corner spears on WIll. Will goes up and over. Cage is supposed to catch his headscissors but drops him. Will flips off of him and step up enzugiri's him. Will back elbows RR down then  drops Akira into a senton on RR. 

Hen and Lance go at it. They trade forearms. They shoulder battle and Lance shoulders him over. Lance chops him in the corner and Hen chops him back. Hen spinning heel kicks him. Lance is put down by his opponents. Akira is double pop up dropped onto Lance for 1.

Akira upkicks Lance. Lance hits a crackerjack on him. We go to PiP break and return. Akira chops Cage. Cage slams him. Cage elbow drops Akira's back. Akira leg lariats Cage. Hen chops Cage and corner lariats him. Hen berzerker bombs Cage for 2. Cage jumping knees Hen then olympic slams him. Lance running back elbows Hen. Hen germans him.

Lance black hole slams Hen. Will hits shots on RR. Will running forearms him down. Will handspring corkscrew kicks Cage. RR takes enzugiri's and a springboard forearm for 2. Lance no sells Akira's chops and forearms him over. Hen samoan drops Lance. Will poisonrana's Cage. RR is held in the air for a cutter from Akira. Hen headbutts Lance in the chin. Akira 2nd rope moonsaults and Hen cannonballs off the apron outside. RR stupidly goes to shimmy and Will hidden blade's him. Will then wins.

Thoughts: The story going into this was weak. The match was fine though and Will's team won as expected. The heels have to be mad at Rocky for the way he lost them that match.

Kazuchika Okada is interviewed. He says nothing is more important than family, unlike Takeshita. He says Takeshita left the family as he was so selfish. He says Kyle is too smart to make the same mistake. He says Kyle knows that all that matters is that the International Title stays in the family. He says he will be happy if Kyle retains but he expects Kyle to be happy for him if he wins. He says he wants Kyle to raise his hand in the ring if he wins.

Tony Schiavone interviews Kyle Fletcher in the ring. KF says we are in the midst of the greatest International Title reign of all time. He says he doesn't think it will end or has to at Wembley. He says he agrees that family is everything. Kyle says he's willing to go along with the plan. 

He says Okada needs to know how role in this. He says Okada should have no problem having his back and making sure he retains his title. He says they can also agree that they hate Konosuke Takeshita. He says he doesn't know where Takeshita is and brings up him losing the G-1. He says he's the most selfish jerk he has met.

Konosuke Takeshita comes out. Him and Kyle fight. Kyle half-nelson suplexes him. KT blue thunders him. KT poisonrana's him. KT pumping knees him. KT falcon arrows him then holds the International Title up over him. The announcers ask where Okada is.

Renee has a sitdown interview with Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega. Will says he was trying to make a name for himself when they first met. KO says he tries to keep his finger on the pulse. He says he wasn't blown away by Will in PWG but thought he had potential. 

KO says Will was a different athlete in NJPW and filled his shoes. He talks about Will being at the Tokyo Dome. He says Will didn't draw there on his own but KO says his own name does. Will says KO never worked under the covid restrictions he had. Will says KO couldn't handle that situation. KO says he had the same situation. 

They talk about Will in The Don Callis Family. KO says he thought Don had his best interest in mind for a while. He says Will didn't have to make the same mistakes he did but he did. Will talks about KO giving him scars and KO says Will disrespected him in Canada. KO says Will used Don Callis in their Forbidden Door match. He says he still has that bothering him and says the win meant nothing. KO says it was tainted. KO says he forgave him.

KO says he's happy about hearing that from Will. He says this match is Will searching for any way to be on his level.   Kenny talks about having diverticulitis. He says he had to make changes which made him a better wrestler. He asks if Will can say he's a better wrestler after breaking his neck. KO says Will makes it seem like he has an ego but Will has the ego. KO says Will wants him at a weakened state. Will says he wants him at his best. He says Wembley is the biggest night of his life. He says no one from England has won a world title on home soil and he can. Will says he crumbles under pressure but has to do it. He says it's been a 10 year chase to be as good as him. He says he won't be satisfied until he beats him. 

KO says the last time it mattered the most was 2023 and Will failed. KO says he will fail again. KO brings up Will's wife and security tries to stop Will. KO says WIll brings magic out of him and says even if he loses, his mom will be proud of him. KO brings up Will's stepson and leaves.

Thoughts: As always, everything in AEW revolves back to things that happened in NJPW and ROH 10 years ago. It was better once they got past that. 

Shida and Pers do an inset promo before the match that was pre-taped. Pers says she will have to watch her become TBS champ and Shida talks in Japanese.

Maya World does an inset promo before the match. She says no one expected her to be in The Owen final or be TBS champ and she defied all odds. She says she hopes it comes down to her and Kris. She says she's ready for anything and everything as it's her world now.

TBS Title - Maya World (c) vs Persephone vs Kris Statlander vs Hikaru Shida

Pers is backrolled by Maya and she kicks her. Kris high kicks Pers then throws Shida over. Kris and Shida trade shots. Shida step up enzugiri's her. Maya flying headscissors Shida out. Pers boots Maya out of the corner and headscissors her down. Pers dropkicks Maya. Kris stunners Pers over the top rope. 

Maya forearms Shida outside and Pers PK's Maya from the apron. Pers is sent into Shida. Maya topes Kris. Maya is electric chair dropped face first on the apron. 

We go to PiP break and return. Pers pulls Kris' arms back. Pers germans her for 2. Maya rolls Per into a double stomp. Shida suplexes Maya into the buckles. Maya enzugiri's Shida while she's on the buckles. Kris germans Maya down. Kris high kicks Shida. Shida is tripped and flatliners Pers off of it. Kris sentons Pers and Shida together.

Maya and Kris trade shots. Shida dropkicks Kris which makes her samoan drop Maya. Shida falcon arrows Kris. Pers spears Kris. Pers knees Shida in the gut. Pers dropkicks Shida. Maya backrolls Pers for 2. Shida flying knees Maya. Shida eye pokes Pers. Pers lifts Shida and Kris takes Shida and powerbombs her. Kris superkicks Pers then spinning lariats her. Maya breaks up the pin with a top rope swanton to Kris' back.

Kris standing blue thunders Maya. Maya rolls her up and pins her.

Thoughts: It was fine. Nothing too special or memorable but they did their thing without botching and tried to make it flow together. 

The Brawling Birds do a promo. They talk about Divine Dominion. They say to hit them as hard as they want because they love it. They say the receipts will always be harder. Alex says they will win the tag titles and have thousands of people screaming to take their heads off.

Renee shows Orange Cassidy and Kyle O'Reilly watching this show in the back. 

AEW Continental Cup Quarterfinal Match - Jon Moxley vs Jay White

Mox rolls out of a wristlock. They test strength and Jay backs him up on the ropes. Jay double chops him. Mox hammerlocks him and Jay ropebreaks. Mox shoulders Jay over. We go to PiP break and return.

Jay hits back elbows. Mox germans him. Mox hits shots on Jay in the corner. Jay hits forearms. They slap each other. Jay ddt's him. Jay hits chop, elbows and punches on Mox in the corner. Jay corner lariats Mox. Jay 2nd rope diving headscissors him. They go out and Jay chops Mox. Jay is sent into the rails then they double lariat each other on the floor. 

Jay underhook suplexes him into the buckles. Jay does a double and collar lock on Mox. Mox ropebreaks. We go to PiP break and return. They trade shots. Jay gets the edge. Mox topes Jay outside. Jay suplexes Mox inside the ring and tazzmission suplexes him twice. Jay flatliners Mox. Mox goes for the bulldog choke then tazzmission suplexes him again. Jay uranage's him for 2. They go up top and Jay superplexes him. 

Mox hits headbutts on Jay. Jay back elbows him. Mox goes for a sleeper and Jay turns it into a pin attempt for 2. Jay hits a blade runner and Mox rolls out. Mox bulldog chokes him inside the ring. Mox double underhook suplexes him/death riders him for 2. Mox grounded chokes him. Jay is out and Mox wins.

Thoughts: It was an alright match here. It was a definitely a different match that what AEW usually offers without a ton of high spots. It wasn't the most exciting thing ever. I was surprised they gave this away on free tv.

The Dogs jump Jay after. Orange Cassidy and Kyle O'Reilly come out to help. Gabe Kidd comes out and drops Kyle and OC. Roderick Strong then joins and he takes a high/low. Brodido and Adam Page come out and the heels leave. Page rips Finlay's boots.

The Demand and The Lethal Twist come out. Page says they are the trios champs and they won't miss Wembley. Page offers any of the people out there to challenge them for the trios titles. Page says to meet thme under the Wembley march as they will be waiting.

Maya World is interviewed by Renee in the back. She says she's not done yet and just beat 3 of the best women in AEW. Willow Nightingale comes in. She congratulates her. She says she's a woman of her word. She says she told her she'd get a title shot if she beat Thekla and challenges her for Wembley. Willow brings up her match with Mone and Maya says it could be her.

Jonathan Cruz, MJF's spanish translator (he hasn't been seen much), is in the ring. He says he will talk to Andrade in Spanish. He says Andrade will never be the real world champ and will never be a real Latino man. He says Andrade is a coward and says it's another reason why MJF will always be better than him.

Andrade El Idolo comes out and we are told this is now a match.

Andrade El Idolo vs Jonathan Cruz

Idolo spinning back elbows him and hits a DM. He pins him.

Idolo gets on the mic after and talks in Spanish. He tells MJF to get out here now and says he's waiting for him. MJF's music hits and he's a pool in Long Island. He says he's soaking up the sunshine (It's 936pm, it ain't sunny out). MJF says he asked AEW if Idolo would be in Baltimore and opted up. He says Idolo will next see him at Wembley. He says he will be looking at the lights as he messed with the one true champ. Idolo rips Cruz's shirt and hits a DM on him. Idolo then says, "how you know?". 

Renee interviews Willow Nightingale and Mercedes Mone. All 3 are in different area's. Willow tells Mone she can't take her smile or title. Mone says she has a lot to say with them being in different rooms. Mone says she will end her reign and take her smile. Willow says she has the fans and says the fans don't like Mone as she spent her career trying to be perfect. Willow says she's just Willow and says the crowd knows her. 

Mone complains about Willow smiling over her when she got injured. She says Willow took her title, threw cake in her face and danced all over her. She says everyone loves Willow The Bully. She says she only has 11 days left to smile. Mone says she will take the smile once and for all at All In. Willow and Mone then go to find each other.

Mone finds Willow and hits her. They fight in the aisle. Willow clubs on her and officials try to break it up. Willow takes her down in the ring and hits her. Security tries to break it up again and fails. Security finally backs Mone up the ramp.

Prince Nana and Swerve Strickland do a promo. They ask if they heard Page say anyone can challenge for the trios titles. Swerve says not to say it if he doesn't mean it. 

AEW Continental Cup Quarterfinal Match - Nigel McGuiness vs Hechicero

Hech tries to trip him. Hech goes for a leg lock and Nigel tries to take his mask off. Hech hooks the arm. Hech grabs a front facelock and Nigel ropebreaks. Hech kicks the ropes into Nigel's injured foot. 

Hech top rope diving elbow drops Nigel. We go to PiP break and return. They trade shots. Nigel double throat thrusts him. Hech dropkicks him in the knee and ddt's him. Hech hits shots to the gut. Hech kicks Nigel in the knee. Hech swinging hammerlock backbreakers him. Hech sleepers Nigel. Nigel does a london dungeon. Hech indian deathlocks him. 

Hech runs into a knee to the face. Hech misses a move on the ropes and Nigel grounded guillotines him. Hech is out and Nigel wins.

Thoughts: It didn't get enough time and the break kind of cut this up some. What we did see looked promising though. Nigel was the heavy favorite going in and won.

Tony Schiavone interviews Kevin Knight in the ring. KK asks him to get out. He says he's not a young boy anymore and is a grown man. He says he's the greatest TNT champ of all time. He asks Darby to come out. 

Darby Allin comes out and KK asks him to prove he doesn't have any weapons before he comes out. KK tells security to check him. KK says Baltimore isn't worthy to see him fight. He tells him to come down. Darby stands on the stage and fireworks from the stage shoot off at him. KK hit a flying move on him as he comes down the aisle.

Darby is put in tree of woe. Darby has a chair in front of his face and KK coast to coast dropkicks him. Darby is stretchered out and they point out Steven Borden, Sting's on. 

Darby is stretchered to the back. Kevin goes up to Borden and tells him to stay in his lane. Darby holds Borden and the stretcher leaves.

The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) vs The Don Callis Family (Mark Davis, El Clon and Jake Doyle)

Intros for this started at 10:15pm. Will Ospreay goes up top Kenny in the back and gets in his face before he goes out.

A Buck shoulders over Clon then he springboard diving armdrags him. A Buck spinning heel kicks Clon as he rolls over his partner's back. Mark is double dropkicked out. Clon is held for a single leg dropkick and sent out. 

KO is tagged in and he hits the heels on the apron. Clon takes a triple team in the corner. Clon takes a backbreaker + springboard double stomp. A Buck pop up dropkicks Mark. Mark is double lariated over the top. Clon is double hiptossed out onto his partners. 

Clon is ddt'd but he no sells it. Clon flips a Buck into a knee to the face. The heels hit running corner attacks on a Buck. Clon is thrown into a codebreaker on a Buck. Jake bodyblocks KO.

We go to PiP break and return. Jake is double booted out of the corner. A Buck plancha's Clon off the apron. A Buck sunset flips Mark for 2. Mark chops Jake on accident. A Buck then shiranui's Mark off of Jake. KO chops Clon and cross legged oblivion's (Finlay's move) him for 2.  The Bucks hit stereo bulldogs. KO finlay rolls Clon into an asai moonsault while The Bucks do top rope elbow drops on the heels. 

KO's team does triple stereo topes out. Clon no sells offense and everyone starts getting a move in in quick fashion. Jake takes a double superkick into a dragon suplex. Jake takes a triple superkick. The Bucks do stereo slingshot plancha's out. KO pumping knees Jake from behind on the ropes then hits an OWA. KO pins Jake.

Thoughts: It was the usual Bucks match. They did every move they know as usual. There was rarely less than 3 people in the ring here. It was a borderline squash. Clon no sold a lot here and he was awful in this. This was rushed.

The Don Callis Family then jump The Elite after. A table is set up outside. Lance Archer goes for a double chokeslam. Adam Copeland comes out and saves The Bucks. Cope is triple teamed. Christian Cage slowly walks to the ring. Lance stands on Cope. Cage dumps Lance over the top then hits Rocky and Trent. The Bucks double superkick Cage on accident. Cope shoves The Bucks. 

Mark Davis hits Cope from behind and nails The Bucks. Lance rejoins the fight. The fight goes to the back. 

Kenny grabs a mic in the ring. Will Ospreay comes out before he says anything. Will says he wants to know what he has to say to him. Kenny says the only thing he has to say is that security should get Will out of here. Tony Schiavone says he's an EVP and can do this. Kenny tells him to leave like the English b!tch he is. Kenny says they are done. Will comes in, takes down Kenny and pounds on him. Kenny flying pumping knees Will. Kenny grabs Will by the hair. He tells him to take one last look at the title. Kenny hits an OW off the apron through a table on Will on the floor. Kenny celebrates after. Kenny holds the title up in the air after.

Overall thoughts: I didn't appreciate this running until 10:34PM. It ran so long my DVR cut out on it. AEW has to cut that stuff out because what good is running a show late if people don't even get to see the ending? There was a lot going on here. We saw Willow, Will and Kenny a few times each. I'm not sure if there was a clear match of the night here as a lot of stuff was okay but nothing was great. I think they did a decent job of trying to build up All In and they had a mix of angles, talking and wrestling here. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 and it was okay overall.

We are in Las Vegas, NV. Paul Wight, Excalibur and Tony Schiavone are on commentary.

Will Ospreay comes out to talk. He asks how the crowd is and if they lost a lot of money tonight. He says he got to be in Arena Mexico again and it's an honor. He says he was nervous in Mexico. He says he was told his grandfather passed away when he got there. He says he knows his grandfather would tell him to stop crying and go do a flip down in Mexico. He says he will leave ever single bit of his body in the ring for us. 

He says he's here to set an example. He says Kenny Omega wasn't at Arena Mexico. He says he knows Kenny is here and invites him out. Don Callis comes out instead. Don talks about him and Kenny screwing Mox over to get the title. He says he had to remind Kenny who his dad was later on and stabbed him in the face. He says he then brought Will Ospreay here and put him against Kenny Omega.

He says Will owes everything to him. He says his road is not paved in gold like he thinks but it's paved in blood. The Don Callis Family then attack Will. Kenny Omega comes out and beats up The Family with a pipe. Kenny teases hitting Will with the pipe but doesn't.

Kenny says he felt what Will said but says he never thinks. Kenny said Will has gotten sloppy and turned into a fool. Kenny says he can't help Will like this again and it's just them from now on. Will says he didn't want his help and won't need it.

Thoughts: Yeah, this was a bunch of random stuff here that didn't make much sense. The Family attacked Will for no reason and Kenny helped out Will for even less of a reason after Will attacked him a few weeks ago.

#2 Spot in the Casino Gauntlet - MJF vs Mike Bailey vs Nick Wayne

MJF grabs the ring announcer Justin Roberts before the match and says to call him the one true champ.  

MJF goes out to stall. He then says he will let the other two battle it out on commentary and calls Schiavone a fat, old prick. Mike takes down Nick twice and taps him on the head. They kip up together and stand off. Nick rolls up Mike for 2. They show a tweet from Andrade El Idolo on a graphic. 

Mike flying headscissors Nick. Nick jumping euros him. Nick tope con hilos outside. Mike triangle asai moonsaults Nick outside. Mike armdrags Nick. Mike double boots him out of the corner and MJF sweeps Mike on the top buckle. 

MJF hits mounted shots on Mike. Nick hits mounted shots on Mike. MJF raises Nick's hand. Nick standing shiranui's Mike and MJF tries to take the pin. Nick and MJF argue. MJF slaps Nick. Nick superkicks him. 

Mike hits forearms on Nick. Mike facekicks him. Mike chest kicks Nick down. Nick dragon suplexes Mike. Mike standing moonsault double knee drops him. MJF pulls Mike's throat down over the top rope. Mike top rope moonsaults both opponents outside.

We go to PiP break and return. Mike misses a top rope ssp and standing spanish flies MJF. Mike falcon arrows Nick. Mike top rope ssp's Nick for 2. Nick hits MJF in the gut. Nick goes for an os cutter and is swatted down. MJF powerbomb backbreakers Nick. 

Mike corkscrew kicks Nick and 2nd rope ultimate weapon's him. MJF throws Mike out and armbars Nick. MJF submits Nick.

Thoughts: It was acceptable. Nick and Mike didn't get to do anything too crazy and MJF held things together by being a heel and taking shortcuts.

MJF gets on the mic after. He say he told us he would win as the champ always wins. He says that's why he is walking out of Wembley with the contract and no one can stop him. Andrade El Idolo's music hits but he doesn't come out. He says he's not showing up because he kicked his @ss last week. He says Kenny and Will are both afraid of him and better pray not to have to face him. He says we will then all find out that he's the one true champ.

Divine Dominion are in The Brawling Birds' bar. They say them saying they are undefeated means nothing when they never faced them. Lena says The Birds' biggest moment will be their massacre. They then drop beer mugs on the floor and say, "Here's to The Birds, they had a good run". 

Mick Foley interviews the full Bang Bang Gang. Jay welcomes Mick to The Gang. Jay says The Dogs and Death Riders have gotten the best of them every turn. Jay says their days are numbered. Jay says he will beat Finlay tonight. He says he hopes he can face Mox and beat him for the Continental Cup.

AEW Continental Challenge Cup First Round Match - Jay White vs David Finlay

DF runs at him and is chopped down on the apron. Jay chops him outside. Jay's head is banged off the commentary table. Jay chops him in the corner and DF shoulders him over. DF sentons him. DF stunners Jay over the top rope. DF boots Jay in the corner. Jay hurricanrana's him from the buckles, lariats him over the top and slingshot plancha's him. 

Jay gordbusters DF on the apron and chops him. Jay suplexes him for 2. DF double throat thrusts him and drops him throat first on the top rope. DF neckbreakers him.  

We go to PiP break and return. DF running euros him in the corner. Jay underhook suplexes him into the buckles. Jay ddt's him for 2. They roll each other up for 2 counts. DF uranage backbreakers him. Jay knocks him off the buckles. DF euros him. Jay flatliners him then germans him. 

DF back elbows him down in the back of the neck. DF ddt's him for 2. Jay chest kicks DF down. DF double underhook dominators him for 2. DF hits oblivion on Jay for 2. DF hits lariats on Jay. Jay blade runners him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was okay. Jay won as expected. They had a spot here where Jay did a suplex and held his neck after. The announcers pointed this out and I'm curious as to what the deal was with it. DF hit a great oblivion on Jay.

Tony Schiavone interviews Brodido and Adam Page in the ring. They are the current trios champs. Bandido talks in Spanish. King says they are the new trios champs. 

Swervce Strickland and Prince Nana come out. Nana tells Schiavone to get out. Swerve says he sees 3 guys he had bad blood with being friends. He says they have nothing in common except for him. Swerve talks about beating Band. He says last time he saw King, he was laying face down in his own blood. Swerve said he took his eye off of Page for a second and he lost his AEW Title and any future shots at it. 

Page says he kept his eye on Swerve and Swerve doesn't have room to talk about results. He says he did heinous stuff and has nothing to show for it.

The Demand and The Lethal Twist come out. Ric says Toa and Kaun would love to put Nana down for good. Ric says the trios titles were stolen from them because Toa's shoulders weren't on the mat. Ric says they demand their rematch. Ric says it's not safe for the faces as they have 9 guys who hate them. He tells them to get to stepping. Swerve gets on the ramp and Ric has words for him. Swerve walks past. He says King might do the barking but Ricochet is being the b!tch. Page tells Ric's crew to come down and take the trios belts if they want them back. Ric says they will do it on their time.

We see clips of a Willow Nightingale interview with Renee. Mercdes Mone attacks Willow and whips her with a title belt. She says she will give her some of her smile back and calls her a dumb b!tch.

AEW TNT Title - Kevin Knight (c) vs Chris Jericho

KK jumps on him and stomps him in the corner. CJ hits chops and brainbusters him. CJ double underhook backbreakers him for 2. CJ hits bad punches on him up top. CJ hurricanrana's him down. 

CJ lariats KK over the top. CJ top rope plancha's KK outside then he hugs Paul Wight at commentary. KK jumps off the commentary table and lariats him down. We go to PiP break and return. 

KK lariats him down. CJ gets his knees up on KK's asai moonsault. CJ shoulders over KK. KK back body drops CJ onto the ramp. KK jumps over the top and flying lariats him on the ramp. KK stomps CJ on the ramp.

CJ AA's KK on the ramp. CJ chases Don Callis around the ring. KK tries a slingshot plancha but CJ knee's him as he flies at him. KK cradles CJ for 2. KK backslides CJ and gets caught with his feet on the ropes. The ref stops KK then CJ tries to pin KK with his feet on the ropes. KK jumping ddt's him. 

KK hits CJ on the buckles. CJ 2nd rope powerbombs KK For 2. CJ crabs KK. Don Callis hits CJ in the head with a screwdriver to break it up. KK coast to coast dropkicks CJ for 2. KK comes off the buckles and CJ codebreakers him for 2. KK kicks CJ low and urange's him. KK then pins him.

Thoughts: They had a couple of moments were a spot could have been done cleaner but it was fine otherwise. Jericho put out a good effort and both guys flew around a lot. Jericho lost as expected here. This maybe got a little too much time.

The Death Riders do a promo. Claudio says he will treat everyone the same in The Continetal Cup. Mox says his run in the tournament could end tonight vs Jack Perry. He asks if Jack is prepared like him and if he lives it like they do. 

Kris Statlander vs Viva Van

Kri wristocks her and Van reverses it. Kris shoulders her over. Van flying headscissors her. Kris slams her and flying headscissors her. Van upkicks Kris then spinning heel kicks her. Van's springboard is blocked. 

Van 2nd rope gordbusters her then top rope dropkicks her. Kris victory rolls her for 2. Van rolls out of a spinning lariat. Kris headflips and superkicks her. Kris spinning lariats her Kris half-package tombstones her and pins her.

Thoughts: Kris was always winning this one and it was just a question of how long it took. It wasn't anything too special but at least Van didn't botch.

Mick Foley interviews Kris in the ring after. He shills his shirt and points out his daughter in the front row. Mick says Kris will face Maya World, Persephone and Shida in a TBS Title 4-Way next week. Kris says she feels ready to fight and feels great. She says she's proud that Maya is the champ. She says she will make Shida and Persephone bend over backwards and shove their heads up their own @sses.  Persephone comes out and laughs on the ramp. Shida then comes out and neither say anything.

Kris is surrounded by the heels a she just stands in the ring. Kris then leaves safely.

Persephone and Hikaru Shida vs Maya World and Thunder Rosa

Maya side headlocks Pers. Pers heads out of the ring then tags out. Shida and Rosa go at it and roll around. Rosa 2nd rope diving armdrags her. Rosa flying headscissors Shida into the ropes. Rosa flying knees Shida from behind on the ropes. Rosa lariats Shida for 2. Shida eye pokes Rosa and rolls her up for 2. 

Rosa does an armdrag + headscissors takeover on the heels. Rosa chops up Pers and chest forearms her. Rosa enzugiri's Pers then dropkicks Shida through the ropes. Pers basement dropkicks Rosa in the head and catapults her throat into the ropes.  

We go to PiP break and return. Pers foot chokes Rosa. Shida knees Rosa in the head. Pers twisting fisherman's neckbreakers Rosa. Rosa hits a double ddt off a double suplex attempt. Rosa double lariats the heels.

Maya tags in and top rope dropkicks the heels. Maya hits fying back elbows. Maya fallaway slams Pers while trying a bridge pin on Shida. Maya crossbodies Pers off the apron. Rosa top rope crossbodies Shida. Shida forearms Rosa down. 

Shida pumping knees Rosa in the jaw. Shida falcon arrows Rosa for 2. Maya forearms the heels. She then rolls Pers and stunners Shida off of it. Shida flying knees Pers on a failed double team. Maya superkicks Shida then fallaway slams her with a bridge. Maya pins Shida.

Thoughts: It got a lot of time and ended up being an okay bout. Shida hit some stiff trikes here and Maya had a clean night. This worked out a lot better than I expected, but didn't do much to put over Pers and Shida as challengers for next week. 

Kris holds up Maya's and Rosa's arms after.

Darby Allin does a promo. He says Kevin Knight attacked him after he lost his title. He says he has no regrets and was burning the candle at both ends as champ. He says Kevin is doing that now as TNT champ. Darby says there's no amount of training Kevin can do for their match. He says Kevin lives up to his potential if he can beat him.  

Kyle Fletcher and Don Callis are interviewed. Kyle says Mike Bailey brings the best out of him but he's still in his title reign. He says he defended his title in 3 countries and wants to do that at Wembley. Don brings in Kazuchika Okada and Kyle will defend his International Title vs Okada and Konosuke Takeshita. Don says there's a 100% chance The Family retains the title. Kyle asks about his chances. Okada says all that matters is that the International Title stays in the family. Don and Okada cheer and Kyle walks off in frustration. 

AEW Continental Challenge Cup First Round Match - Jon Moxley vs Jack Perry

Jack side headlock takeovers Mox. Mox headscissors him and they stand off. Mox trips Jack. Jack chops Mox then flying headscissors him out. Jack dropkicks him through the ropes. Jack goes for a tope and Mox forearms him down. Jack is sent into the post and he bleeds. 

Jack boots Mox and hits chops. Mox bangs Jack's head off the commentary table. Jack tries to shiranui Mox outside but is thrown through the timekeeper's table. We go to PiP break and return. 

Mox slams Jack for 2. Mox hits crossface shots on Jack. Mox rubs Jack's face in the mat and pulls on his cuts.  Mox knees Jack in the face, ties up his leg and pulls hair. Mox headscissors him and ties up his legs. Jack rebound lariats Mox and Mox no sells it. Mox boots him in the face. JP dropkicks Mox out. Jack then topes him twice. Jack tope con hilos him outside. Jack top rope moonsaults him outside. 

Jack top rope elbow drops Mox for 2. Mox running lariats him. Mox gotch style piledrivers him for 2. Mox lariats him down for 2. Mox hits mounted shots on Jack. Jack slaps him and gives him the middle finger. 

Mox hits forearms. Jack rebound lariats him. Jack sunset flips Mox for 2. Jack STF's Mox. Mox escapes and sleepers him. Jack is out and Mox wins.

Thoughts: It was an okay match. Jack sold and bled. They didn't overdo it and Jack had the general idea of what he was supposed to do down. This got a lot of time and I was fine with this one.

They shake hands after.

Overall thoughts: This one went until 10:22PM. The matches were all fine for the most part here. The show was mostly focused on in-ring action as usual. I'd say the main was maybe the best match of the night here. I wouldn't say this did a whole to build up All In though. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 as the show was fine overall, minus the Kenny/Will/Don Callis segment.

Adam Copeland, Christian Cage and The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) vs The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia and PAC)

Pac holds up an England soccer jersey at the crowd.

Cage side headlocks Page then Yuta knees Cage in the back from the apron. All 8 men fight and the heels are sent out. Pac takes a double enzugiri in the corner and a reverse ddt + side slam combo from Cope and Cage. Yuta is dropkicked through the ropes and a Buck corkscrew dives outside. Cage plancha's off the top rope outside. 

We go to PiP break and return. A Buck takes running corner attacks. Yuta germans a Buck. Garcia then sharpshooters that Buck. A Buck pulls Garcia and Yuta into each other. A Buck then top rope diving headscissors + armdrags the heels. Cope running lariats Mox a few times then hits him and Pac. Cope hits a double lariat then lariats Pac over the top. Mox cutters Cope.

Mox takes a splash on the back over the 2nd rope from Cope. Cage stands on Mox's back over the 2nd rope. Mox then takes a double 619 from Cope and a Buck. Cage top rope diving headbutts Mox and a Buck top rope elbow drops Mox. Cage hits Mox low then Mox is hit with a triple superkick for 2. 

The Bucks do springboard plancha's out. Mox takes an impaler ddt from Cope. Shafir pulls on Cope's hair. Cage pulls Shafir down and gets slapped. Cage kicks her in the crotch. Yuta flying knees Cope. Cage takes an STO + flying knee combo. Garcia is double superkicked by The Bucks. Yuta takes an assisted shiranui and a running knee. DG is ddt'd. Pac rebound germans a Buck and takes a headbuster from Cope. Cope rolls up Mox for 2. Cope spears Mox but the ref is distracted. Mox rolls up Cope and pins him while holding the tights.

Thoughts: It was a fun match. The crowd was into it and the wrestlers were really trying hard here. Cope and Cage stepped it up a bit. It had a lot of action and a fast pace. 

The faces argue after about the loss.

#1 spot in the Casino Gauntlet at All In - Tomasso Ciampa vs Andrade El Idolo vs Komander

TC poses on the ropes. He and Idolo shove each other. TC pounds on and stomps Kom. TC and Idolo trade shots. TC eye pokes him. Idolo chops TC. Kom springboard diving headscissors Idolo. TC ear claps Kom. TC is pulled out by Idolo. Kom rope walk springboard corkscrew dives them outside. Idolo springboard triangle tornillo's Kom outside. 

We go to PiP break and return. Idolo and TC double lariat each other. Idolo and TC trade shots. Idolo flying forearms him. Idolo takes his pants off. Idolo triple suplexes Kom. Idolo is crotched up top and goes down.

TC throws Kom out and pumping knees him. TC stomps on Idolo's pants, then he tries to pin the pants. Kom misses a springboard 450 and takes a powerbomb backbreaker for 2. TC is up top and gets chopped by Idolo. Kom springboard poisonrana's Idolo off the 2nd rope. TC 2nd rope air raid crashes Kom for 2. 

Idolo corner meteora's TC for 2. Idolo spinning back elbows TC. Kom 2nd rope springboard spinning poisonrana's Idolo. Kom rope walk ssp's TC. Idolo hits his DM (spinning double underhook drop) on Kom and pins him.

Thoughts: I didn't like it. They went way too far near the end with Idolo kicking out of a poisonrana off the 2nd rope then a regular poisonrana. Kom should have been done a lot longer from the 2nd rope air raid crash too. They just threw all selling out the window in the finishing stretch of this one.

Idolo gets on the mic and talks in Spanish. He says he wants more and will win the Casino Gauntlet (?) at All In. He says he wants to win the World Title for Mexico. He then does his "How you know?" line.

MJF comes out. MJF hits Idolo from behind with his Triple B version of the AEW World Title. He takes Idolo's Dynamite Diamond Ring and hits him with the ring. Idolo is busted open. MJF pounds on him on the ramp. MJF throws him off the ramp to the floor.

MJF gets on the mic and sends to get that piece of trash from this piece of sh!t country out of the arena now. MJF says he's the best wrestler in the world and says he's the AEW champ. He says he had Kenny Omega beat at Beach Break until Ospreay got involved. He says it's thanks to Ospreay that Kenny gets to walk around with a toy belt. He says Wembley was his main event. He says he always gets what he wants. He says he will be in the match for the #2 spot in the Casino Gauntlet. He says he will win that and dogwalk Idolo again. He says he will win the contract again. He says the only title that should be recognized is his Triple B and he should be the only champ recognized. He says he doesn't care who wins at Wembley as he will remind the world that he's the one true champ.

Willow Nightingale and The Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor) vs Mercedes Mone and Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross)

Meg and Alex shove each other. Alex chops Meg and shoulders her over. Meg rams her in the corner and hits corner spears. Meg misses a corner splash and Alex hits forearms on her. Meg is booted over then senton'd for 2. Meg jawbreakers Willow.

Mone boots Willow in the corner. The 6 girls trade forearms. Mone is foot choked. Lena is pulled over the top. Willow and Kris hit cannonballs off the apron. Jamie top rope plancha's all 3 heels outside. We go to PiP break and return.

Mone and Willow run into each other and both go down. Lena is formed by The Birds then takes a double headbutt. Jamie 2nd rope dropkicks Jamie. Lena takes a facekick into a russian legsweep for 2. Dominion and The Birds trade forearms. Dominion hit germans on them Jamie drops Meg with a big lariat.

Willow and Mone trade forearms. Mone knees her in the face. Willow muso's her for 2. Mone 2nd rope meteora's Willow. Alex headbutts Mone in the face. Lena TKO's Alex. Everyone starts getting a move in one by one. 

Willow lariats Mone. Dominion take stereo germans. Willow backslides Mone and pins her.

Thoughts: It was alright. There were a lot of stereo moves here and a lot of focus on The Birds vs Dominion. Willow got the upset win over Mone here. There were a lot of people getting thrown around in this one.

We then see on the screen that The Birds challenge Divine Dominion for the AEW Women's Tag Titles at All In. 

AEW International Title - Kyle Fletcher (c) vs Mike Bailey

Both guys come out with masks. Kyle stomps his Mistico mask and Mike just takes his off.

Mike kips up and armdrags him then is slammed. Kyle shoulders him over and is swept. Mike headscissors him. Mike sunset flips him for 2. Mike walks up the buckles, rope walks and diving headscissors Kyle. Mike topes out, Kyle catches him and lawn darts him into rails. 

Mike backslides Kyle for 2. Mike rolls him out of the ring and triangle asai moonsaults him outside. Mike spin kicks him in the gut, axe kicks him and chest kicks him. Mike running ssp's him for 2. They fight on the buckles. Kyle 2nd rope michinoku drivers him for 2. We go to PiP break, full break and return.

Kyle chops him out of the ring. Kyle goes out and Mike top rope moonsaults outside. Mike rolls him up for 2. Mike armdrags him and 2nd rope flying headscissors him. Mike then rolls him up for 2. Kyle half-nelson suplexes him. Kyle facekicks him, ending him down on the ramp. Mike diving headscissors him off the steps on the stage and sends him onto the stage. Mike then moonsaults off those steps onto Kyle. 

Mike misses an ultimate weapon inside. Kyle goes for a crossbody and Mike standing moonsault slams him off of it. Kyle michinoku drivers him for 2. Mike hurricanrana's Kyle over the top but Kyle holds on and apron powerbombs him. Kyle corner facekicks Mike then brainbusters him for 2. 

Mike 2nd rope poisonrana's him on his head. Mike top rope ultimate weapon's him for 2. Mike sunset flips him for 2. Kyle lawn darts him into the 2nd buckle. Kyle running facekicks Mike. Kyle brainbusters him on the top buckle. Kyle then pins him.

Thoughts: It was the usual dumb Kyle match. They did way too much here and none of it meant anything. Kyle took a nasty 2nd rope poisonrana on his head that was meaningless seconds later and Mike was able to go for another 10 minutes after taking a 2nd rope michinoku driver.

Kyle celebrates with the title and Kazuchika Okada comes out for his match. Okada interrupts Kyle's music to make his entrance. Kyle then holds his title up at Okada on the ramp and they stare down.

Chris Jericho, Darby Allin & Mistico vs. Don Callis Family (Hechicero, Kazuchika Okada & Kevin Knight)

KK springboards onto DA as he heads down to the ring. KK pounds on him. KK throws DA off the ramp and he goes crotch first onto the rail. Hech step up knees Mist in the corner. CJ and Okada fight. Okada dropkicks him. KK pounds on CJ and euros him. CJ AA's KK. 

DA springboard diving armdrags Hech. DA dropkicks Hech. DA topes outside and Okada flying knees him in mid-air. We go to PiP break and return. KK and DA bangs heads. Mist springboard crossbodies KK. Hech stomps Mist. Mist flying headscissors KK, 619's Okada and springboard diving headscissors Hech. Mist goes up top and springboard corkscrew armdrags KK.

CJ codebreakers Okada. DA and KK trade forearms. DA scorpion deathlocks KK and KK ropebreaks. Mist springboard diving headscissors Hech. Mist's springboard is caught and Mist spinning headscissors Hech.

CJ top rope plancha's Okada and DA coffin drops outside. Mist walks up the buckles and plancha's Hech outside. DA is in tree of woe, KK goes for a coast to coast and CJ spinning back elbows him in mid-air. Mist hits a la mistica on Hech while CJ crabs Okada. DA coffin drops KK. DA pins KK.

Thoughts: It was a fun tag. Mist did his usual flying routine. DA went for a tope outside here and Okada flying knee'd him in mid-air which was cool. It was a pretty tame night for Darby though. The crowd booed Mist here, which they sometimes do.

Kris Statlander vs. Persephone

They lock up and Pers armdrags her. Kris armdrags back. Kris backflips and handstand walks. Pers bridges out of a lariat and they go for armdrags at the same time. Kris chops Pers then lariats her over the top. Kris moonsaults off the apron onto Pers. 

Pers basement dropkicks Kris outside. Pers tope con hilos Kris outside. Thunder Rosa is in the front row and Pers gets in her face. Pers chinlocks Kris. We go to PiP break and return. Pers finlay rolls her. Pers misses an asai moonsault and takes a gutbuster. Kris germans Pers. 

Kris running euros Pers and flying knees her in the corner. Kris michinoku drivers her for 2. Kris armdrags her and seatbelt's her for 2. Pers running lariats Kris.

Kris and Pers trade chops. Pers superkicks her. Pers is tripped into the ropes and Kris crossbodies her from behind. Kris misses a 450 legdrop off the top and lands hard. Pers spears her for 2. 

Pers grabs Rosa and her title outside. They grapple a bit and Pers hits Rosa with the Mexican National Title. Kris dives on Pers off the apron and nails the ref in the process. Kris backdrops Pers on the floor.

Kris goes for a pin inside. Hikaru Shida comes in and hits Kris with the title. Pers springboard splashes Kris but the ref is still down. The ref comes in and Pers pins Kris.

Thoughts: It was a bit of an odd one here with ref bumps and interference. The match was going well too, so it's a shame they had to bring it down with all of that. Kris' 450 legdrop off the top looked painfaul. Pers had a couple of nice spears. I did like this minus the finishing sequence.

Maya World and Hyan run out to check on Kris after.

AEW World Trios Title Match - The Demand (Bishop Kaun, Ricochet & Toa Liona) (c) vs. Adam Page & Brodido (Bandido & Brody King)

Page's team comes out in sombreros and poncho's. KeMalito is with them and they have a Mexican band. 

The heels attack from behind to start. King throws Rico ut and Ric dropkicks him in the knee. Ric stomps him outside. Pge flying headscissors Toa. Page facekicks Toa. King walks up the ropes, seated moonsaults and double armdrags Kaun and Toa. Ric is thrown out. Band is helped up to the top and springboard swantons out.

The faces then dance and the heels interrupt. Band pump kicks Kaun out of the corner. Kaun 2nd rope backbreakers him on the top buckle. We go to PiP break and return. Kaun chops Band. Band superkicks Kaun. Kaun bodyscissors throws Band overhead while on the ropes and sends him to the apron. Kaun hiptossed Band from the ramp to the ring.

Ric bangs Band's head off the buckles. Ric springboards and Band dropkicks him in mid-air. Page comes in and cleans house. Page fallaway slams Ric then slingshot plancha's Kaun. Page lariats Kaun. 

Ric spin kicks Page and Page sitout powerbombs him for 2. Kaun throws Band over the top near the post. Band and King are sent into the rails. Ric flying pumping knees Page off the apron. The heels then hit triple dives out.

Page takes corner attacks and a pumping knee. Ric running ssp's Page for 2. Toa corner splashes Kaun on accident then King corner splashes both. King corner cannonballs both. Ric springboard diving lariats King. 

Ric pumping knees Page and Page spinning lariats him. Ric flips out of a 21plex. Band one arm gorilla press slams Ric. Toa puts all 3 opponents on his shoulders and samoan drops them together. Toa misses a corner charge and his head banged off the post. King lariats Toa then topes Ric and Kaun. Toa takes a buckshot lariat into a german and is pinned.

Thoughts: The match was alright though it did got a little long here. Toa's triple samoan drop was impressive. I don't like these title changing hangs. When then AEW Trios Titles were initially announced, I was concerned as trios titles tend to get hotshotted around with random teams. That is exactly what is going on now as we've had 2 title changes in only a few weeks.

No Outside Interference Mexico City Street Fight - Mark Davis vs. Will Ospreay

Mark comes out with a chair and he misses when he throws it at all. Will hits forearms. Mark eye rakes him and lariats him over the top. Mark slams and sentons Will. Will hits forearms on Mark. Mark knees him in the gut then Will flying headscissors him.

Will slingshot plancha's Mark. Will bangs Mark's head off a chair. Mark boots Will in the gut and slams him on a tire outside. Mark is sent into the rails. Will jumps off the rail and flip dives onto him. Will springboard flying forearms Mark inside.

Mark chairs Will in the gut and back. Will handspring corkscrew kicks Mark. Will's flying headscissors is caught off the apron and Mark apron edge powerbombs him.

Mark throws a chair at Will. Mark powerbombs Will over the rail into a "fan" in the front row. We go to PiP break and return. Will hits Kawada kicks on Mark. Mark hits Will with some kind of board and Will rolls down the steps on the stage. Mark throws Will over the top. 

Will hook kicks Mark. Will is sent into a chair between the buckles. Will is busted open. Mark hits downward elbows. Mark chairs him. Mark forks Will is in the head. Will dropkicks Mark in the knee, sending him into a chair. Will jumps off a chair then springboards into a cutter on Mark. 

Will then forks Mark in the head. Mark lariats Will. Mark hits a nasty over the shoulder piledriver on Will through 2 chairs. Mark rakes barbed wire in Will's face. Will throws a chair at Mark's head.

Mark headbutts Will on the apron. Mark rakes Will's back with barbed wire. Will grabs him by the crotch and Will high kicks. Will apron piledrivers him.

Will hidden blades Mark in the ring for 2. Mark hits a nasty piledriver for 2. Will styles clashes him for 2. Mist puts barbed wire around Mark's head and hits a hidden blade. Will then pins him.

Thoughts: They overdid it here with apron piledrivers not even being enough to put people down. Both guys bled here and there were a lot of weapons being used. It wasn't quite the match I expected and Mark's size could have maybe been protected a bit better. I don't know if their feud has been big enough to justify all that went down here, but there was definitely no lack of effort. It was acceptable but flawed overall.

Overall thoughts: It was probably the longest Dynamite yet at about 2 hours and 52 minutes. I knew this was going 2 hours and 30 minutes at least due to how big this card was. This was a PPV level card and I'd argue it was better looking in some ways than Redemption was. The crowd was hot and the wrestlers really did put out some extra effort for this. I liked the opener best here. While there were some matches I didn't care for, this was an absolutely memorable show and probably one of the better shows AEW has put out. There was no excuse whatsoever for Kenny Omega not being here, but he's done this stuff before and his top priorities will always be video games and Japan, not AEW. The show also did not build up All In that well and that's a problem since All In is the biggest show of the year. I'd give this an 8 out of 10 as the wrestling and general spirit carried this. I thought it was a great show overall.

We see clips of Omega and Will from the PPV with The Death Riders watching. Mox isn't pleased with how it is going. He says he gave Will all he could give him and wanted him to get it before he got him. He says Will is the best wrestler in the world with nothing to lose and is on death ground.

Will Ospreay arrives and runs into The Death Riders outside, minus Claudio. Garcia says something to Will and Will back elbows him. Mox asks Will if he's sure he wants to do that. Will says Mox doesn't get to pull the trigger for him. He gives him The Death Riders patch and says he's out. Mox says it looks like Will has got it all figured out then. They let Will pass. 

Will runs into Adam Page. Page says he won't stick his nose in his business. He tells him to let him know if he needs anything. Will says he has a lot on his plate and says he has The Death Riders on his neck. He says he can't trust Kenny so he can't trust him. Will says he will do this on his own. Page says he knows the look on his face. 

Page says he knows Will will be the best he has been at Wembley. He tells him he's got this. 

AEW National Title - Andrade El Idolo (c) vs Jack Perry vs Nick Wayne

Jack superkicks Nick to start and clubs on him. Jack chops Nick and Nick flying euros him. Idolo suplexes Nick. Idolo double suplexes his opponents. Idolo flying headscissors Nick. Jack bulldogs Nick on the floor then Idolo slingshot plancha's Jack. Idolo takes a photo with a female.

Nick shiranui's Idolo on the floor. Jack chops Nick and rolls him up for 2. Nick eye rakes Jack. Idolo hits lariats and flying forearms Nick. Idolo hits triple suplexes on Jack. Nick standing spanish flies Idolo and Jack shotgun dropkicks Nick in the corner.

We go to PiP break and return. Idolo powerbombs Nick. Jack hits Idolo on the buckles. Jack then top rope diving hurricanrana's him off the apron. Nick topes into a canadian destroyer on Jack.

Nick springboard splashes Idolo's back. Nick fisherman busters Idolo for 2. Nick boots Jack in the head in the ring. Jack chops him and Nick slaps him. They trade forearms. Idolo chops them. Idolo takes a double superkick and Idolo hits a double lariat.

Idolo corner meteora's Jack for 2. Nick superkicks Idolo. Nick is popped up, he hurricanrana's Jack and Jack ddt's Idolo on the landing. Jack poisonrana's Nick. Jack topes Idolo twice then tope con hilos both opponents. Jack top rope moonsaults both opponents.

Jack sitout powerbombs Nick for 2. Idolo lariats Jack over the top then elbow slices Nick. Idolo comes off the top and Nick gets his knees up. Nick phoenix splashes Idolo for 2. Idolo spinning back elbows Jack. Idolo double underhook twisting drops Nick and pins him.

Thoughts: I don't know how Nick or Jack got this shot. It was a bit long and not quite as fast paced as you would have thought. I wish the tope canadian destroyer counted a bit more than it did. I thought it was average and the flow just wasn't there.

Tony Schiavone asks Idolo how he feels and Idolo says he feels tranquillo. He says he's happy as he screwed MJF and Don Callis. He says he will be the best National champ ever. Tony talks about Idolo defending his title at All In and he says, "how you know?". The ICP are at this show (they were introduced before the show and not on TV) and you could see them in the crowd here.

The Brawling Birds are interviewed. Alex says Divine Dominion talks too much. Alex says both teams are undefeated and says they have been avoiding them for too long. They tell MIT to pick 2 of the 3 and says they will beat them on Collision also.

The Don Callis Family is interviewed. Kyle Fletcher says he retained his title on Sunday and won unlike Kevin. Don says they took some L's, but that's part of wrestling. Don says Mark Davis is angrier than he has ever seen him and he can't wait to see what happens. Don tells Kevin that we all need family sometimes and the sky is the limit for him. Kevin says he doesn't like to lose but he went toe to toe with the best ever. He says it won't be his only PPV main event. He says Kyle and Mike Bailey are tied in singles action and says there will be trouble in their match. Kyle says the International Title will never leave the family. Kazuchika Okada comes in, says the International Title will stay in the family, and leaves.

The Don Callis Family (Kyle Fletcher, Jake Doyle and Brian Cage) vs Brody King, Bandido and Mike Bailey

Kyle side headlocks King. They shoulderblock each other and Kyle goes down. Kyle hits corner spears. Cage hits forearms on King then King is double suplexed. King boots Kyle out of the corner. 

Mike top rope elbow drops Kyle's arm. Band top rope double stomps Kyle's arm. Kyle takes running corner attacks. Cage and Jake get crossbodied by King. King lariats Kyle. Band suplexes Kyle. Band hits mounted corner punches on Kyle. Cage powerbombs Band into the post. 

We go to PiP break and return. Kyle slams Band. Kyle knees him in the gut. Kyle is pushed into the buckles. Band spinning ddt's Kyle. King is tagged in. King pushes Cage into Jake then he nails both. 

King hits running corner lariats on Cage and Jake then corner splashes them. King corner cannonballs both for 2. King lariats Cage down. Mike PK's Cage. Cage buckle bombs Mike. Cage release german Mike. Mike then takes a backbreaker and a running knee. King is double flapjacked down. Mike and Kyle try pins on each other. Mike PK's him then standing moonsault double knee drops him. Kyle lawn darts Mike. Mike spinning roundhouse kicks Kyle. 

Band hits flying forearms on Jake. Band gorilla press slams Jake. Band top rope splashes Jake. Jake slams Band then bodyblocks him. King spinning forearms Jake and Cage F-5's King. Kyle superkicks Mike. Mike top rope moonsaults Kyle outside. 

Band hurricanrana's Jake for 2. Band superkicks Jake. Jake forearms Band down. Jake is held for an ultimate weapon from Mike. Mike sunset flips Jake with the arms held and pins him.

Thoughts: I would have liked more selling here as no one was worried about that. It was fun and chaos otherwise though with people coming in and out and getting thrown around. King's size should have been protected a little better here.

Renee interviews The Young Bucks, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. Renee calls this a dream match. The Bucks say they are nervous and anxious. They say their kids and wives are coming with them. They say it's an honor to be in the match with them. 

Cope says they are looking forward to it too and thought it would never happen. Cope says there's mutual respect there. He says tag team wrestling has been shoved off the to side and The Bucks and FTR made sure that wasn't the case. Cage says they didn't come back to do a retirement tour, they came back to prove they are the best tag team of their generation and The Bucks' generation.  

The Bucks say Cope and Cage's legacies are made and they are still working on theirs. The Bucks say if they win the tag titles, they will be the most decorated team in AEW and that's their legacy. Cope says they didn't win titles for 25 years and understand what they are saying. The Bucks say nothing will come in the way of them winning the tag titles for a 4th time. The Bucks say they will come at them hard as this is their legacy. Cage says it'll be different when The Bucks have to face their heroes. Cage says they have to beat them and they will at Wembley. Cope says they are being doubted at this stage. The Bucks say their career is having a chip on their shoulder. Cope says he looks forward to the match. 

AEW TBS Title - Maya World (c) vs Persephone

Pers side headlocks her and front facelocks her. Maya cartwheels over her and bridges out of a lariat. Pers bridges out of a lariat. Maya rolls her up for 2. Maya armdrags her and spinning heel kicks her. Maya springboards and flips into an armdrag on Pers. 

Pers goes out and Maya forearms her there. Maya is dropped face first on the apron. We go to PiP break and return. Pers pulls Maya's arms back. Pers armdrags her and half crabs her. Maya rolls her up for 2 twice. Maya double stomps her. Maya leg lariats her for 2. 

Pers fallaway slams her. Pers topes her outside. Maya tornado ddt's her on the floor. Pers lariats her then germans her for 2. Maya boots her out of the corner and 2nd rope moonsaults her. Hikaru Shida comes down and throws Pers a kendo stick. Kris Statlander grabs the stick from Pers. Maya fallaway slams Pers with a bridge and pins her.

Thoughts: It wasn't anything too special. Maya's offense is a bit complicated and it doesn't always look the best which hurts things. I'm not sure why they sacrificed Pers here with the Arena Mexico show coming up.

Mark Davis does a promo. He says he's 10 pounds lighter without the National Title. He says he needs to do something about it. He says him and Will Ospreay are 1-1 and says the loss was due to Death Rider interference. He says they should fight next week and he will chew him up, spit him up and leave him broken.

A shark mascot dances behind the hosts as they talk about Shark Week.

Willow Nightingale comes out for an interview in the ring with Renee. The fans chant for Willow and she says they are too kind. Willow says she's living her dream. She says she won the AEW Tag Titles, beat Mone and got hurt. She says her mom made her feel better. She says she fought in the casino gauntlet then beat Thekla. She says don't give up if life gets you down. She says the comeback is better than the dream sometimes.

Mercedes Mone comes out. She says she came out here for business and tells Willow to sign the All In contract now. Willow signs it on her and Mone shoves it in her face. Willow says maybe Mone is angry because she beat her after her TBS Title reign. Willow says maybe it's because she has the one title she can't get. 

Mone says Willow's name is written on her story. She says when she got hurt, the people celebrated her and when she returned, she had to go through Willow. She says Willow took her TBS Title away from her. Mone says she will end her fairy tale at All In. She says Willow would be nothing without her. She says she made her. She say she won't just take the title, she will take her smile too. They argue and fight. Divine Dominion comes in and Willow is chokeslammed by Meg. The Brawling Birds then come out to save Willow.

AEW Continental Title - Jon Moxley (c) vs Komander

I have absolutely no idea how Komander earned this shot.

They trade wristlocks. Kom rolls him into an armlock. Mox shoulders him over. Kom flies at him and just bounces off. Kom casadora cradles him for 2. Kom boots him from the buckles and top rope diving armdrags him. Mox chops Kom down.

Kom flying headscissors him and dropkicks him. Kom topes Mox outside. We go to PiP break and return. Mox headscissors him and pulls on his legs. Kom hits shots to the gut and cradles him for 2. Mox forearms him. Kom double jump springboard dropkicks him. Kom superkicks him in the back and  619's him in the gut. Kom springboard crossbodies him for 2.

Kom chops him in the corner. Kom does flips, Mox give him in the finger and Mox cutters him. Mox hits mounted corner punches and bites him. Mox lays on the top rope and Kom top rope diving legdrops him as he hangs. Kom walks up the ropes and springboard 450's him.

Kom superkicks him. Kom rope walk corkscrew dives him outside. Kom misses a rope walk ssp. Mox curbstomps him. Mox death rider ddt's him. Mox then submits him with a choke.

Thoughts: It was a bit of a headscratcher with Kom going toe to toe with Mox and getting a ton of offense in for no real reason. Kom lost as expected. The match was fine, just I have no idea what the purpose was other than to run this show late.

Mick Foley interviews The Bang Bang Gang. Jay White isn't here. Ace says they have big problems. Colten says they were screwed by The Dogs and Death Riders. Juice says he will take on any combo of The Dogs and The Death Riders. Juice challenges them to a match tomorrow on Collision. Austin then does the "Guns Up" line and Foley tries to do the "Bang Bang" line.

AEW Trios Titles - The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong and Kyle O'Reilly) (c) vs The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona)

Kaun and Ric head in to fight. Toa blocks an OC tope and sends him into the rails. RS dropkicks Ric through the ropes. Kaun dropkicks RS outside Kyle flying knees Kaun outside. Toa runs into the post when his opponents move. Kaun takes a backbreaker + elbow drop outside. Ric flip dives off the stage onto The Conglom's.

The bell rings. Toa's head is banged off the buckles and he no sells it. OC puts his hands in his pockets. Toa lifts im by his hands and is dropkicked. OC dropkicks Kaun. RS hits knees on the heels and backbreakers Kaun. RS rams OC into his opponents. OC is slammed on RS. Kaun slams Toa on OC and RS.

We go to PiP break and return. RS hits chops on Ric. RS half-nelson backbreakers him. Kyle hits kicks on Kaun then legsweeps him. Kyle dragon screws Toa. Ric flying knees Toa on accident. Kyle spinning forearms Ric down hard. Kyle rolls Kaun into an ankle lock. Kyle is headbutted, slammed and takes a running ssp for 2. 

Kyle 2nd rope flying knees Kaun and flying lariats Ric off of it. Kaun top rope superplexes RS. OC top rope diving ddt's Toa. Ric top rope splashes OC and Kyle top rope diving dropkicks Ric. 

Kaun chops Kyle and RS then takes kicks from Kyle. Kaun takes a high/low for 2. Toa double shoulders Kyle and RS. Toa blocks OC's orange punch with his head. OC stunners Toa. Toa takes an orange punch into an olympic slam. The Lethal Twist come down and Blake Christian hits OC with a title belt. Ric hits a spirit gun on OC and pins him.

Thoughts: I was a little surprised by the result as The Demand haven't been pushed that much lately. They rushed at times here and OC screwed around like usual. The action was good though and it was exciting. I did like it overall.

The Lethal Twist and The Demand beat up The Conglom's after.

Brody King comes down and is beaten up. Adam Page comes out with a barbed wire chair and the heels leave. Page facekicks Jay Lethal and hits a buckshot lariat.

The Death Riders do a promo. Yuta says it's another night and another victory. Yuta says The Bang Bang Gang wants to blame them. Pac says they will see them tomorrow. Garica says Pac is always right. Garcia says Will Ospreay is a coward who always leaves. Garcia says that's not how it works. He says it's a hard way in and out. Mox says he's sick of the morality talks. Mox says they play by the rules that are necessary. Mox says the Continental Title is what the sport is supposed to be about.

Tony Schiavone interviews Kenny Omega in the ring. Kenny goes to talk and Will Ospreay comes out immediately. Kenny says this is something personal. He says they used to do show and tell in kindergarten and are doing it themselves. Kenny says he showed him how he felt at Redemption and says maybe they should move onto the tell part. Kenny says he cares about Will and he means the world to him. 

Kenny asks Will if he remembers when they made the promise to try their best and become champ. Kenny says he always put their friendship before the belt. Kenny says he let him in the Owen Hart Cup as it gave him joy. He says Will responded in disappointment and says Will told him it sucked that he gave up on himself. Kenny says he doesn't know how deep it cut him. Kenny asks if he looks like he gave up. 

He says Will always pretended like he knew better and asks him what's his excuse now that it blew up in his face. Will says he came back too early for his surgery as he was thinking about revenge. He says he lost the match and lost his confidence with it. Will said he had no one to turn to but Jon Moxley. who gave him new life and took away his old life. Will says he liked being a Death Rider and it made him feel like the old version of himself.

Will says he doesn't share The Death Rider's philosophy or Mox's way of becoming champ. He says he can become champ by being the best. Kenny talks about getting beaten with a chair at Redemption and says he knew Will would come to save him. He says he saw Will holding his belt and said it took Will so long to help him as he thought of doing it himself. He says Will looked like he wanted a thank you.

Kenny slaps him and says he crumbles when he gets put under pressure. He says this is why he will always be a step behind. Kenny slaps him again and Will slaps him back. Kenny begs off as he goes for a hidden blade. WIll says if he puts his hands on him, he will kick the sh!t out of him. Kenny leaves. 

Will says he filled in when Kenny wasn't here. He says he earned his spot and gave his neck to challenge for the title. he says he has a big mountain to climb but he wants the ball. He says when the time is up and they go to extra time, it's his time to kick the ball. He says his country will ask if he can pull the trigger and he says he will pull the trigger. He says he won't do it from behind. He says he will pull the trigger when the title is on the line. He says Kenny will see it coming.

Overall thoughts: It was one of the longest regular episodes of Dynamite yet at 2 hours and 33 minutes. It went so long that my DVR cut out during it...all so Komander and Nick Wayne could be in random title matches. This was all about All In and they covered a lot of ground for it here. I think they did an okay job building that up. I liked the trios title match, Mox/Komander and the Don Callis Family trios match (which was my match of the night). I didn't like the National Title match or the TBS Title match. I'd give it a lower 6 out of 10 as the show was okay, but they've gotta stop running so far over time.

Will says Kenny got tired last time and tells him not to be a hero. Kenny says WIll ha a big match at the PPV too and should tag him in if he gets tired.

Jon Moxley walks in. He says there's no tension in this room. He then leaves. Kenny says there wasn't then he says he will leave Will and Mox.

AEW TNT Title - Kevin Knight (c) vs Darby Allin

KK is outside and DA topes him. DA pounds on him outside. Da hits forearms on him. DA then lariats him over the rails onto the floor. DA sends him into the rails. KK is laid on the rail near the timekeepers table. DA top rope dives him and they go over the timekeeper's table.

KK eye rakes him on the ramp and pushes him off the ramp, crotching him on the rail. KK springboards off the rails and back elbows him. KK bangs DA's head off the steps then catapults DA's face into the steps. KK hits mounted shots on him in the ring then stomps him. 

DA clubs him on the buckles and 2nd rope code red's him. DA code red's him again for 2. DA puts KK's arm into the post and elbows it. DA top rope coffin drops KK outside. We go to PiP break and return.

KK facekicks him and tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him for 2. KK sends DA into the ref. KK lariats DA. DA reverse ddt's KK. DA is crotched up top. KK hits him in the back with a title belt. DA is in tree of woe and KK coast to coast dropkicks him. KK top rope 180 splashes DA and pins him.

Thoughts: I didn't like this one. They blew threw a bunch of big spots quick early on and none of them really meant that much by the end. Kevin won as expected here as he's going into a PPV World Title match and he wasn't losing here. Darby looked like he hurt his ankle with the spot that went over the timekeeper's table.

Kyle Fletcher comes out before Kevin has left then Kazuchika Okada also comes out before Kevin leaves.

We go to break and return. Most of The Don Callis Family is in the ring. Mark Davis says he only has a match at Redemption if Darby can scrape himself off the pavement where he left him. Kevin Knight says he broke Darby and broke the record for the amount of TNT Title defenses, which he said Kyle once held. He says he it did without The Family. 

Kyle takes the mic and gets in Kevin's face. He says Kev thinks he's real impressive and will become Jet 2 Belts. He says he hopes he does. Kyle says he doesn't need the help of The Family to defend his title either. He says he will make sure everyone is banned from ringside on Sunday when he faces Bandido. He says everyone can be banned from ringside when he and Okada fight now. He tells Kevin and the others to get out of the ring right now.

The Don Callis Family (Kazuchika Okada and Kyle Fletcher) vs Brodido (Brody King and Bandido)

KF and Band lock up. KF backs him up on the ropes and points at him. Band then clean breajks him and points at him. They shoulder each other. Band flips out of a hiptoss, points at him and spinning armdrags him. Band dropkicks him. KF takes running corner lariats from the faces. KF takes a stun gun into a backdrop.

Band gets on BK's shoulders and is thrown down. BK sentons KF. KF is dropped chest first on the mat for 2. BK chops KF in the corner. KO facekicks Band. BK and KO trade forearms. BK takes running corner attacks and a double suplex. Band takes a double flapjack. We go to PiP break and return. 

Band hits forearms on KF and is slammed down fast. Band flips over KF's back and tags out. BK hits chops on KO and KF. BK lariats KO down. BK suplexes KF on the apron then running corner lariats KO. BK lariats KO for 2. KO hits an over the back neckbreaker on the knee on BK. 

KF running corner facekicks BK. BK black hole slams KF for 2. KF and Band trade forearms for chops. KF knees him in the chest. Band asai moonsaults and KF superkicks him down. Band sunset bombs KF off a sky high attempt.

KO half-nelson suplexes Band then Band pop up drops KF here for 2. BK corner cannonballs KF. Band top rope frogsplashes KF for 2. KO hits a nice dropkick on BK. KF superkicks BK. KO rainmakers KF on accident when BK moves. BK hits KO then topes him outside. Band hits a 21plex on KF and pins him.

Thoughts: Band pinning KF was an upset. It was an okay bout as they didn't go too long and they didn't get too crazy. KO's rainmaker on KF was pretty stiff and Okada hit a great dropkick here near the end.

Okada says he's sorry to KF but he does it in his usual not so serious way and he gives him a weird look after. KF asks if he's kidding and says it's Okada's fault. KF says he lost because of KO. 

The Don Callis Family tease going in after Band and King. Andrade El Idolo then comes out and the heels back off.

We get a Chris Jericho "Painmaker" video with him saying he has owned and became the pain. He says he's a wound that never heals and he's The Painmaker. 

Mick Foley comes out to talk to Thekla and Willow Nightingale. We go to break and return. Mick talks on the ramp and brings out Thekla. Thek introduces herself as Thekla 2 Belts. Thek says let's get this thing over with and Willow Nightingale is brought out. 

Willow says it's always great to see Mick and nice to see Thek face to face instead of with a cheapshot to the back. Willow says there's only one match between her and making her dream come true. Thek says Willow puts on a mask every time she comes. She says she will beat the poison out of her so everyone can see how ugly she really is. Willow says she never has to convince anyone who she is. She says we all know the toxic act is a facade. Willow says Thek talks big as she feels small. Willow says she only cares about Thek's AEW Women's Title and Thek is a shortcut to get to it. 

Mick compares himself with Willow. Thek tells Mick to shut up. Willow says Thek is the one acting like a dumb b!tch now. Willow says Mick is a legend and says they both stop at nothing to get what they want. Willow says she will do the same to her. Willow says they both have everything to lose at Redemption. Thek says when she stands over her at Redemption, she needs to smile anyway. Thek slaps her with a glove and Mick gets between them. Thek hides behind Willow and hits her with the mic. Thek grabs her belt to whip Willow and is pounced out of the ring. 

We get a video on Maya World vs Shida. Maya says it's her world now. Shida says she defended her title and Maya got in her business after. Maya says she will take her title and Shida says, "The Best is Shida".

Jay White vs Clark Connors

CC slides out to start and stalls. Jay backs up CC in the corner. CC double chops him from behind. Jay shoulders him over. Jay takes down CC by the arm. Jay kicks the ribs and pulls him down by the hair. Jay hits CC in the gut in the corner. CC pulls Jay's throat down over the top rope. CC spears Jay through the ropes on the apron.

We go to PiP break and return. CC pats Jay on the head and rakes his eyes. Jay hangs off the apron and CC running shoulders him in the head. Jay is sent into the rails. CC lights a match and sticks it in Jay's arm. Jay is sat in a chair outside, CC misses a spear and goes into the chair.  

Jay dragon screws him. Jay back body drops him. Jay ddt's him in the ring for 2. CC pounces Jay for 2. Jay sweeps him then punches him in the head. Jay uranage's him for 2. CC punches Jay in the corner. CC germans him. CC corner spears him and overhead throws him.

Jay high kicks CC down then sleepers suplexes him. CC rolls him up for 2 off a blade runner attempt. CC powerslams him for 2. Jay counters a spear with a guillotine. Jay then head and arm chokes him with a bridge on the mat and pins him.

Thoughts: It went long and was a little boring at times. They really needed to pick up the pace some here. They had some good ideas, just it took too long to get there.

CC goes after Jay after and takes a blade runner. David Finlay comes out and hits Jay with the shillelagh. The Bang Bang Gang then come out and back DF off.  

Adam Copeland and Christian Cage do a promo. They get jumped by Claudio and Pac of The Death Riders. Cage's head is banged off boxes and he is sent into some stuff. Pac curbstomps Cope onto a box. Pac says he can't believe they challenged them. He says it doesn't sound very wise. Pac says Cope has bitten off more than he can chew and they will remind them of who they are.

AEW Women's Tag Titles - No DQ Match - Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) (c) vs The Triangle of Madness (Julia Hart and Sky Blue)

The big girls pose on the apron and SB/Hart choke them with kendo sticks. Hart and SB hit kendo stick shots. Lena and Meg are pulled over the top. Hart cannonballs Meg off the apron. Meg and Lena take superkicks inside. Hart does the tarantula to Lena. SB hits both opponents with the kendo stick. Meg takes a codebreaker to the chest and Hart nails SB on accident with a weapon.

Meg is sent out. Hart walks the top rope and Lena catches her diving headscissors. Hart is dropped face first onto a chair on the top rope. SB is busted open and Meg backdrops her. SB has a chair against her face and Meg throws another chair at her. 

We go to PiP break and return. They fight on the stage. Meg is standing on 2 chairs and is powerbombed through a table. Lena takes shots from both opponents and then takes superkicks. Lena boots SB in the corner and back elbows Hart. Lena pump kicks Hart and Meg germans Hart. 

Lena and SB trade forearms. SB superkicks her and Meg claymore kicks SB. Lena superkicks Hart down. All 4 girls grab title belts and try to use them. Lena and Meg take ddt's on Stardom belts for 2 counts. Meg suplexes Hart on the floor. Lena's head is superkicked into the top buckle. SB is on the 2nd rope and Meg chokeslams her down through a table outside. Hart octopuses Meg. 

Meg spinning tombstones Hart. Hart takes a double chokeslam. Meg pins Hart.

Thoughts: This match really showed off how limited Hart and Skye are. They did more superkicks than The Bucks do and it got old quick. They didn't do anything too wild here but Hart and SB got busted open. I thought it was just average as it went on a little too long and didn't impress. Thankfully, it was a safe match.

The Bang Bang Gang do a promo. Juice asks where The Dogs were running. Juice says they should chain the dogs up at Redemption and do a double chain match. Jay says they will give The Dogs the beating their fathers should have given them.

Kenny Omega and The Death Riders (Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay) vs The Don Callis Family (Hechicero, Jake Doyle and Brian Cage)

Will wristlocks Hech and they trade some holds. Hech headscissors takedowns him from the mat and they stand off. Hech side headlocks him. Hech trips him on the leapfrog and Will flying headscissors him. The faces work on Hech's arm and take turns doing it.

Hech eye rakes and trips Mox. Jake stomps Mox in the corner. Mox low topes Jake into the commentary table. Cage chinlocks Mox in the corner. Jake corner splashes Mox. Will hits Kawada kicks on Jake and step up enzugiri's him. Cage shoulders Will over. Will stunners him out of a suplex attempt. Jake bodyblocks KO and Will. Cage suplexes KO and Will together. We go to PiP break and return.

Cage chops Will. Will handspring corkscrew kicks him. Will goes for a tag and both Mox and KO want it. Will chooses KO. KO finlay rolls Cage and 2nd rope moonsaults him for 2. Cage F-5's KO. Hech step up knees KO in the corner. Hech ties KO's legs up in a reverse figure four. KO goes for a tag and Hech armbars KO. Mox stomps Hech.

4 of the wrestlers trade shots. Jake is lariated over the top and KO presses Cage into the mat. Hech takes shots and a springboard flying forearm from Will. Hech takes running corner attacks. KO interrupts and gets some in too. Mox cutters Hech. 

Will slingshot plancha's Jake. KO germans Cage and dragon suplexes him. KO flying pumping knees Mox on accident. Hech headscissors drops KO for 2. Cage hits a GTH on KO. KO is yanked into a Jake forearm for 2. Cage stomps Will.

Mox and KO hit stereo hurricanrana's, a hidden blade and a pumping knee. Will superkicks Hech then Hech takes a pumping knee + hidden blade combo. KO pins Hech.

Thoughts: They messed up the spot near the end with the hurricanrana's but it wasn't too bad. It was a fun little main with some unusual partners here. They did an okay job putting over the issues the faces had with each other and it was an okay main here. I liked this. 

KO offers Mox a handshake after but Mox won't. They push each other and butt heads. Will gets between them and KO shoves Will down. Will shoves KO. The Bucks come out and Mox shoves one of them down. Will and The Bucks fight. Jake Doyle gets involved. More of the Don Callis Family come out in Trent and Rocky. KK flies in and hits KO with a title in the face. KK stands on KK and grabs his hair then KO bleeds. KK poses with KO.

Overall thoughts: It was a rather wrestling heavy show. I didn't like Knight/Darby. Okada's tag vs Brody and Bandido was okay. Jay/Clark went long and bored me. The Women's Tag Title match was average. The main was an okay bout. I'd give it a higher 5 out of 10 but it was a slower show and not super exciting. They did put a nice lineup out for this though. The show was just acceptable overall. I do think they could have done a better job to sell us on this week's PPV here.
