DG rolls Jay into a dragon tamer. DF helps Jay break. The Riders then hit the heels outside. We go to PiP break and return. DG hits a twist and shout on DF. Mox tags in and hits mounted corner punches on DF. Mox piledrivers him and knocks Jay off the apron. Jay is sent into the steps.

Mox armbars DF and Jay breaks it up. Mox double underhook ddt's Jay. Jay takes running corner lariats. Jay then is sent into a cutter. Mox topes DF outside. DG rolls up Jay for 2.

Ace Austin comes out. Wheeler Yuta knocks Ace off the apron and beats him up. Clark Connors spears DG. Jay blade runners DG.

Thoughts: It was an okay bout here. The Cut, which just changed it's name from The Last Outfit, had to win here. The Death Riders were kind of fun as pure faces here.

The Cut and The Death Riders fight after. Claudio Castagnoli joins in. The Cut run and Mox gets on the mic. Mox asks where they think they are going. Mox challenges them to Anarchy in the Arena at Full Gear. Schiavone then stupidly brings up that they are skipping Blood and Guts to do that match.

We see clips from Collision of Willow, Harley and Kris setting up their Blood and Guts match.

Thoughts: I didn't like it at all. It was the usual Kyle match where he does a bunch of stuff and little gets sold and little means anything.

Doyle and Mark Davis celebrate with Kyle after and put him on their shoulders. Kyle talks on the mic and says he just decimated someone who was supposed to be a pillar in the company. He says he beat a legend in Cope last week and beat Will Ospreay. He says Davis and Doyle will become tag champs. He says he beat Will at Full Gear before and will do it again. He dares Will to put the AEW Title on the line as he says he's the uncrowned AEW champ. He says no one can touch him, he's the best and he will prove it at Full Gear.

Dean Malenko narrates a Blood and Guts video.

The New Level are interviewed in the ring by Renee. Creed says Swerve was talking crazy about a Texas Death Match. Kofi says they came to face the best competition, but they want to clockout and go home to their families. Creed says it doesn't sound appealing to be in that match. Kofi says they need to hate their opponents, but they haven't been around enough to hate them. Creed says they kind of like Bandido, King and Page. Creed says they will be new World Trios champs.

Brody King comes down and asks where Bandido is. Creed says they didn't see Swerve and asks him where he is. Adam Page comes out and says Brody doesn't know what Texas Death Matches do to you. He says he lost years of his life. Page says not to give them what they want.

Prince Nana comes out and dances. He then points to a video of Swerve on the tron. Swerve has Bandido's mask somewhere and Bandido is bloody. Swerve says to give him the match he asked for as he won't ask again. He then puts the mask back on Band.

Page tells Brody not to give Swerve what he wants. Page says they need to find Bandido and they leave to go find him.

The Don Callis Family do a promo in the back. Don says Will has to be shaking in his boots. He says Davis and Doyle will take the AEW Tag Titles and break The Young Bucks. Okada mocks Cope. Don says Steven Borden put his trust into a sea urchin and Darby is making him do things he wouldn't be doing. He says Josh Alexander will end Darby tonight. Josh says he will take the TNT Title from Darby. Don says they have something the other team doesn't have and Okada says "family". Okada then gives a cheesy smile.

Best of 5 Series, Match 3 - FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) vs The Motor City Machine Guns

Big Stoke is dressed up as James Brown since Halloween is near.

Dax and Alex go at it. Dax escapes a wrist lock and side headlock takeovers him. Alex headscissors and armdrag him into an armlock. Dax slams Sabin. Sabin armlocks Cash. Sabin armdrags him then Dax slams Sabin. Sabin armdrags Cash into an armlock.

Sabin topes both FTR members outside. Sabin top rope crossbodies Dax but Dax rolls through and gets a 2 count. Sabin cradles him for 2. Sabin step up enzugiri's him. Cash powerslams Sabin. Cash is flatlinered into the 2nd buckle. Dax slingshot sitout powerbombs Alex. Sabin gets a 2 count on Dax.

Alex is pushed into the post. Sabin is crotched up top. Sabin takes a powerplex for 2. Dax takes a double kick in the corner. Sabin is pushed into Alex. Alex gets a 2 count on Dax then rolls him up again for 2. Dax takes a double superkick.

Dax is hit with a shatter machine for 2. Dax takes a top rope splash + reverse ddt combo for 2. Cash germnas Sabin and Alex sneaks out a pin to Dax to win.

Thoughts: It was alright enough but like their other matches, it was far from their best effort and it was nothing too memorable. There was nothing wrong with it though.

The two teams shake after. Stoke throws powder in The Guns' faces. Alex takes a 2nd rope double stomp to the knee.

Britt Baker, Persephone and Queen Aminata are interviewed by Lexi. Britt insults Queen. Queen says Pers can keep underestimating her but she knows who she is. She says she was taken out of Blood and Guts last year. She says she will knock Pers' head off and become TBS champ.

Tomasso Ciampa comes out. He says we are looking at the next AEW National champ. He says Idolo is injured and not here. He says he will take on Matt Sydal on Collision. He hopes Idolo will be watching as the message will be clear. He says he wants his title, rematch and wants to show he's the best signing.

Ilja Dragunov comes out. He says let's test what Ciampa said about being the best. He says Ciampa has a Collision match but nothing is stopping him from fighting him right now. They butt heads. Ciampa says not tonight.

The Conglomeration is interviewed. Kyle says things aren't done with The Cut. Roderick Strong says he doesn't care why, but he's sick of being laid out. He challenges 3 of The Cut to a Collision match and says they will beat their @sses.

Marina Shafir vs Rachel Armstrong

RA offers a handshake and takes a facekick. MS throws her into the buckles and she goes down. MS corner lariats her and hits mounted corner punches. MS hits hip throws.

RA dropkicks her. MS drops her with a gut kick. MS double underhook drops her on her knee. MS uranage's her. MS then submits her with mother's milk.

Thoughts: It was a quick and random squash with MS winning as expected.

MS gets on the mic after. She tells Mercedes Mone not be a p*ssy. Mone comes out. Mone says Ms doesn't know who she is. Mone says she has more balls than The Death Riders have combined. She slaps her and says if she wants a shot, let's see if she can handle this. MS offers her another chance to slap her. Mone slaps her multiple times.

Mone avoids a kick. The Cut attack Mox at commentary. Clark Connors hits Gabe Kidd with a tire iron. More Cut members come out. Claudio comes out and throws a trash can at Austin Gunn's head. Claudio catches Ace's slingshot plancha and throws him. Claudio then gets ganged up on.

Claudio hits a double lariat. Claudio blocks Jay White's low blow. DF hits Claudio with the shillelagh and Claudio gets knocked out.

Mox is ganged up on. Jay blade runners Claudio on the exposed floor.

AEW TNT Title - Darby Allin (c) vs Josh Alexander

DA gets hit before it starts. JA boots him in the corner. JA drops him on the apron with a slam. JA crossbodies him off the apron while he is seated on it. JA dragon screws him outside into the rails. JA stomps DA's arm into the floor. JA dragon screws DA into the steps.

JA boots the top rope into DA's arm. JA euros him. DA boots him out of the corner. JA catapults him but DA 2nd rope double stomps him off of it.

They fight on the apron. JA ankle locks him there then germans him on the apron. JA pulls DA's hand and fingers around the post. JA backdrops DA. JA goes up top and is pushed down back first onto the apron.

We go to PiP break and return. DA sweeps him on the apron. DA's coffin drop is caught off the top and JA release germans him on the floor. DA sweeps JA on the apron, traps him in the ring skirt and bangs his head off the apron. DA then hits a hard tope on him.

DA uses JA's headgear to blind him. DA sharpshooters him. DA dragon screws him around the 2nd rope then top rope coffin drops him. DA is swept on the apron. JA tombstones him off the apron onto two open chairs but JA mostly just lands knees first on the chairs.

DA of course kicks out at 2 on the pin attempt. Someone in a mask grabs Trent Barrett and it's Steven Borden. Borden lariats Rocky Romero down and sends Trent into the rails.  JA slaps around DA. JA stomps DA's ankle and ankle locks him. DA rolls back and turns it into a pin. DA pins JA.

Thoughts: I didn't like it. They did a bunch of dangerous stuff here. They did too much and didn't sell all that much at all here. Both guys looked like they hurt each other at times here as well. Darby won as expected.

Darby limps up the ramp after and holds his knee and elbow.

Steven Borden and Darby Allin do a promo. He asks why his first match will be at Blood and Guts. He says Don doesn't know him well, but he wanted this. He says he saw what his dad and Darby went through at Blood and Guts. He says two rings and one cage is nothing new to his family. He talks about his Blood and Guts team. Darby says he doesn't want to talk, he wants blood and guts.

AEW TBS Title - Persephone (c) vs Queen Aminata

Queen rolls her up and cradles her for 2. Pers slaps her and gets chopped hard. Queen hits forearms. Pers chinlocks her and elbows her neck. Queen swinging facebusters her. Queen hits chocolate kisses.

Queen PK's her. Queen is on the 2nd rope and Britt grabs her. Queen is dropped face first on the top buckle. Pers chokes her on the bottom rope. We go to PiP break and return.

Pers grounded headscissors her with an armlock. Pers boots her in the face. Queen lariats Pers down twice. Queen rolls her up for 2.

Pers boots her in the gut and Queen hits a twisting fisherman's neckbreaker on her. Queen 2nd rope double stomps her for 2. Pers hits a big spear. Pers rips off Queen's tape on her back.

Pers germans her for 2. Pers asai moonsaults but Queen gets her knees up. Queen running knees her and Pers falls out of the ring. Queen forearms her outside. Queen then running dropkicks her from the apron while Pers is on a chair.

Britt Baker hits Queen with the TBS Title. Pers top rope moonsaults Queen for 2. Queen headbutts Pers down and running knees her. Queen then pins her.

Thoughts: I thought there was a good chance of Queen winning here. It was in the main and she's been featured lately for no real reason. Pers didn't really impress or anything with her reign. The title should help Queen out some and we'll see what's next for Pers. This was fine and Queen hit a lot of stiff strikes as usual.

Queen gets fireworks after and multiple girls come out to celebrate with her. Queen then gets confetti.

Overall thoughts: This had a 25 minute overrun which was a bit long. I liked the opener. I didn't like Kyle/Jack. FTR/The Guns was fine enough and maybe the match I liked best here. Darby/Josh got out of hand as expected and wasn't my thing and the main was fine enough. The show had a lot of build to Blood and Guts, though still not quite enough. The show was fine overall, but lots of names were missing on this one. I'd give it a 6 out of 10.

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/10/aew-dynamite-10282026-fright-night.html

We are in Miami, FL. Excalibur, Taz and Tony Schiavone are on commentary.

AEW World Tag Team Title Eliminator Match - The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) vs. Davis And Doyle (Jake Doyle & Mark Davis)

Jake bodyblocks a Buck to start and the other Buck is lariated by Mark. Mark chokes a Buck outside and the other Buck is sent into the rails. A Buck is sent into the steps. The Bucks are then thrown into each other. Jake powerbombs a Buck on a table twice, sending him through it.

A Buck takes a double slam. Mark then hits a gutwrench piledriver, then he hits another one. The same Buck then eats a 3rd one. Jake bearhugs the other Buck. Mark and Jake then pick up stereo pins.

Thoughts: Well, I enjoyed seeing The Bucks get destroyed. They don't do these types of bouts often so it was something different and it kind of worked.

Adam Copeland & Will Ospreay vs. Don Callis Family (Kevin Knight & Kyle Fletcher)

Cope and KK go at it. Cope waistlock takedowns him and front facelocks him. Cope shoulders him over then lariats him. KK eye rakes Cope in the corner then boots him. Cope slides out and gives KK the finger. Cope swinging neckbreakers KK inside.

Cope slides out and takes a superkick from KF. KK springboard lariats Cope for 2. Cope takes a michinoku driver for 2. KK is back body dropped to the outside. Will slingshot plancha's him. Cope headbusters KF.

Okada comes down and gets on the apron. Will nails Okada. KK jumps off the apron and lariats Will. KF corner facekicks Cope. Cope hits a killswitch on KF. KK springboards and Cope spears him down. Cope misses a spear and goes into Okada's title face first. KF then pins Cope.

Thoughts: They didn't really go all out here and it wasn't too memorable. I thought it was average. Cope got busted open after going into the title.

The faces get beaten up after and get left laying. More Don Callis Family members come down and Will is ganged up on. Will gets hit in the head with a title belt. Darby Allin and Steven Borden finally come out with weapons. The Bucks then come out to help too. Steve gets on the mic. He says he's back for Blood and Guts.

Swerve Strickland vs Tome Filip

Swerve hits a house call kick before the bell. Swerve boots him then hits shots on him. Swerve then vertebreakers him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a quick squash and Swerve won in seconds. It was so fast they even missed a spot.

Orange Cassidy and Jay White vs The Death Riders (Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta)

DG waistlocks Jay. Jay shoulders him over. DG boots him and Jay chops him. Jay suplexes him for 1. DG goes for a sharpshooter and is stopped. Yuta waistlock takedowns OC. Yuta pulls on his legs. OC armdrags him and Yuta rolls him up for 2. Yuta's head is banged off the buckles. DG ties up OC in the ring skirt and clubs on him. Yuta then topes Jay outside. We go to PiP break and return.

Jay chops Yuta in the corner and ddt's him for 2. DG takes running corner attacks. Jay is held in the air for a 2nd rope diving lariat/forearm. DG sharpshooters Jay. OC boots DG softly while he has the hold on.

OC superkicks DG. DG hits a twist and shout on Jay. DG then rocket launchers Yuta off the top right into Jay's knees. OC orange punches DG off of Yuta's back. OC orange punches Yuta and Jay hits a blade runner on Yuta and pins him.

Thoughts: It was average. It didn't get a lot of time and OC had to screw around like always even when Jay was in a sharpshooter. I didn't care for that at all.

Adam Page, Brody King and Bandido are interviewed. Prince Nana immediately interrupts with Swerve. Swerve says they want their rematch. Page tells him to name the time and place and Swerve says "Full Gear". Swerve says he hanged Page 3 years ago at that event. Page says he loves to live in the past. Swerve says he's living in the future and wants the match to be a texas death match. Page says he won't let them drag his partners into that. Swerve says it's non-negotiable. Page says the man saying that has no leverage and his answer is no.

We see a limo arrive and Nick Wayne comes out of it. Nick looks at a picture of Chris Jericho on a truck and has a shirt that says, "Nick Wayne beat Chris Jericho".

Mercedes Mone comes out for an in-ring interview. Mone says she has a broken nose but it didn't stop her from taking the title and Willow's smile. She says what's dumb is Thekla thought she was on her level when she was just up to her knees. Mone kicks Renee out of the ring. Mone says she's the most dominant and decorated woman in pro wrestling. She says she doesn't chase the spotlight, she is the spotlight. She says she wants to know who is next to face her.

The Death Riders' music hits and Mox and Marina Shafir come out. Marina tells her not to be a p*ssy. Mone leaves before anything ends up happening.

Roderick Strong then comes out for his match.

AEW Continental Title Eliminator Match - Jon Moxley (c) vs Roderick Strong

They grab each other and Mox trips him. RS chops him on the ropes and Mox goes out. Mox and RS chop each other. Mox hits shots to the gut and hammerlocks him. RS dropkicks him after getting his fingers split. RS hits corner spears and a chop. They chop each other then trade forearms.

Mox dropkicks him in the knee. Mox ankle locks him on the apron. RS backdrops him on the apron. We go to PiP break and return. Mox hits a double arm ddt. Mox dropkicks RS off the apron then he topes him. Mox corner lariats him and hits mounted corner punches.

RS flying lariats him then uranage backbreakers him. RS hits another backbreaker. Mox goes for a choke and RS gutbusters him. RS runs into a lariat and gets flipped. They trade shots. RS jumps and is caught with a cutter. RS low claymore kicks him for 2. RS double underhook powerbombs him. RS then crabs him. Mox escapes, grounded chokes him and RS submits.

Thoughts: It didn't get enough time for what they were doing. It felt like we were still kind of in the first half of this one and then it ended. Mox won as expected here. Mox really held his lower back during this and seemed like he hurt it.

Clark Connors and David Finlay jump RS after. Mox backs them off. The Dogs then jump Mox and pound on him from behind. Mox is choked and hit in the gut. DF grabs a shillelagh and Gabe Kidd breaks it up. DF and Gabe push each other then Clark spears Gabe. RS comes back in and gets beaten up. The Conglomeration and Jay White then save the faces here. Jay then hits a bladerunner on OC. Juice Robinson and Ace Austin then beat up Kyle O'Reilly outside. The Guns then jump on Yuta and Garcia outside. Claudio then jumps on Colten Gunn. Claudio throws DF into Clark. The Bang Bang Gang then jump Claudio. The Dogs eventually join in. Claudio takes a 310 to Yuma from The Gunns. DF hits Claudio with a shillelagh. Jay bladerunners Mox. The Gang and The Dogs then pose together.

Thoughts: The question of whether Gabe was with The Dogs or not needed to be handled at some point and they cleared that one up here. The Gang turning heel was a surprise, but there's only so many factions that can be fought and they've been face for a while.

We get a video on Ilja Dragunov. He says everything came back together and he couldn't be more grateful. He says there's many more symphonies to come. '

We see a bunch of girls fighting in the back. Divine Dominion are beating up The Brawling Birds. Thekla's crew is also joining in and Kris Statlander is hit with a trash can. Thek tells her crew to get out of here when they pick up one of the women's tag titles.

Nick Wayne comes out to talk. He asks if we heard the news that he beat Chris Jericho...twice. He then shoots off fireworks twice. He says Chris needs to come out and apologize like he had promised if he lost. He thinks Jericho won't come out but then fireworks shoots off and he does.

Jericho comes out. Nick says he's surprised to see CJ here. Nick says he's been thinking about how many different ways CJ will say he's sorry to him. Nick cuts him off immediately. CJ tells him to shut the hell up. CJ says he can't apologize if he won't let him.

CJ says he told him he doesn't know what he doesn't know but he knows more than he thought. He says Nick has learned some lessons from him and if he hadn't, the WrestleDream outcome will be a lot different. Nick then shoots off fireworks again to mention the win.

Nick tells him to say he is sorry. CJ says he's sorry. He says he's sorry for underestimating him and not understanding how good he is. He says he has learned and says Nick will look back someday and realize this is the turning point of his career. He says Nick has learned the lessons and listened to people who know more than him. He says if he keeps doing it, he will get to the top of the business like him. CJ says he listened to Ultimo Dragon, Bockwinkle, Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin and others. CJ says Nick will also become a multi-time champ like him if he listens. CJ then says something that is bleeped out.

The Motor City Machine Guns and FTR will have Match 2 of their series on Collision and Match 3 will be on next week's Dynamite.

Queen shoulders her over. Queen rolls her into chocolate kisses. Maya jawbreakers her and euros her. Maya spinning heel kicks her. Maya top rope plancha's her outside. Queen twisting neckbreakers her.

We go to PiP break and return. Queen germans her for 2. They trade shots. Maya double chops her. Maya hits kicks and step up enzugiri's her. Maya running euros her in the corner. Queen chops her down. Maya basement dropkicks her.

Maya 2nd rope moonsaults her for 2. Queen avoids a 619 and they trade pin attempts. Maya shining wizards her for 2. Queen drops her with a chest forearm. Queen then sends her into the rails.

Queen puts her in a chair outside and then apron dropkicks her. Queen misses a top rope double stomp. Queen headbutts her and running knees her through the ropes. Queen then pins her.

Thoughts: It was dumb to bring Maya back just to lose here. That makes no sense whatsoever. Both girls did their usual offense. I thought it was average.

Persephone and Britt Baker get in the ring after. Hyan and Maya back up Queen and prevent anything from happening.

The Don Callis Family do a promo. Don says Davis and Doyle destroyed The Young Bucks and says Kyle and Kevin won their match. Kyle says he has an official victory over Will Ospreay. Don says they will bring the guts to Blood and Guts and say to bring the blood. They say they will use the match to soften up the champs in it. Don says when they get done, they will take the belts and take the money that comes with it because they love money. Don asks what is more important than money and Okada says, "Family".

Blood and Guts will be Cope, Steven Borden, The Young Bucks, Darby and Will vs The Don Callis Family.

The Opps do a promo minus Bowens. Joe says Clockwork Carnage didn't go as he wanted but he did score the first pinfall and choked out Will. He says he'd be champ in other circumstances. He says it made him realize the title belongs to him. Jack Perry walks in. Jack says Joe didn't kick his @ss enough and owes him a handshake. Jack says if Joe won't give him it, he will find a way to take it from him. Jack says he wants another match. Joe says he can't think of another place to lick his wounds than Miami and says he will take care of business soon. Jack then stares down Hook and Action Andretti.

Drag chops Mike down twice. They trade shots. Mike hits chest kicks and Drag enzugiri's him. Drag germans him twice. Drag tiger suplexes him for 2. Drag top rope sentons him for 2.

Drag chops Mike on the apron. Mike standing moonsault double knee drops him on the apron. They go up on the buckles. Drag hits headbutts to the back of the neck then slaps him on the buckles. Mike slaps back, Drag hits headbutts and Drag top rope superplexes him.

Mike double upkicks him and cradles him for 2. Mike sunset flips him for 2. Mike knees Drag in the face. Drag chops him in the leg. Mike crane kicks him. Mike spin kicks him in the face. Mike is swept on the 2nd rope. Drag powerbomb throws him and hits a h-bomb on him. Drag does some weird motions and hits another h-bomb. Drag pins him.

Thoughts: Drag thankfully won here. It was fine. Mike didn't get to do anything crazy and it was mostly just striking in this one. It was also a safer match than usual from Drag. Drag hit a nasty jumping front kick to the jaw here.

Overall thoughts: In-ring wise it was an average night. People were not trying to get hurt out there and AEW's busy schedule means everyone needs to be available. The main was probably the match of the night though it was far from their best effort. This one was all about building up Blood and Guts and building up Ilja Dragunov's debut. I thought it was an average show overall and I'd give it a 5 out of 10.

Thoughts: Mark beating Mox was a surprise. It was fine. It was almost all people throwing lariats and chops which is alright by me. Wardlow didn't get to do a ton here, but I assume he's taking it easy as he gets back into things.

Clockwork Carnage Qualifying Match - Adam Copeland vs. Josh Alexander

Cope and Josh trade some basic holds. Cope shoulders him over then hiptosses him. Cope dropkicks him. Josh hits Cope in the leg outside. Cope is dropped knee first on the steps. We go to PiP break and return.

Josh's head is banged off the buckles. Cope slingshot cutters him. Cope gets crotched up top. Josh is dropped face first on the exposed buckle then Cope spears him. Cope pins him.

Thoughts: Cope won as expected here. It was alright. It didn't go too long and wasn't too slow. I liked Josh doing some of Cope's moves here.

Cope puts Josh's earguards on after. Cope says the last few weeks have been difficult. He says after the ladder match at All Out, Christian Cage broke 3 ribs and had collapsed lung 5 minutes into the match.

Cope says Cage did it for his work ethic and the fans. He says he needed to do soul searching because of it. He says his face isn't on the posters of teenager's walls anymore. He says he's aging out and says 2027 will be his last year in wrestling. He says that's why he has to go for the AEW Title.

Thoughts: I've never been a big Edge/Cope fan. His matches have always been slower paced and not particularly exciting. He's also not really a character I ever resonated with. I'm not too torn up about him retiring.

Don Callis and Brian Cage interrupt. Don says it's been a great night for The Family as Mark Davis pinned Mox. He says Cope might think he won the battle tonight, but Don says he always wins the war. Don asks who he thinks he is. He says people like Cope don't decide on retirements, people like Don tells him how it's gonna be.

Don says he doesn't like Cope's chances of seeing 2027 or of seeing Clockwork Carnage. Cope then gets jumped by The Don Callis Family. Cage F-5's Cope. Konosuke Takeshita and The Conglomeration head to the ring to save cope. The heels back off.

We get a video on Clockwork Carnage.

KT running lariats him then Cage lariats him for 2. KT flying knees him. KT dragon sleepers him. Cage submits.

Thoughts: I didn't like it that much. They got more time than they really needed. That resulted in them doing bigger moves that weren't sold and the moves meant nothing. The dragon sleeper finish was random too.

United empire and The Brawling Birds are interviewed. Will says he dragged himself from Japan and he wants to see who wins in Clockwork Carnage. Will name drops Samoa Joe. The Motor City Machine Guns come out instead. Sabin says they respect FTR and their legacy is undeniable. Sabins says The Guns can match that reputation. Sabin says AEW has the greatest tag division in the history of wrestling. Sabin says they want to prove they are the best by beating them. Alex says FTR beat The Bucks 3 out of 5 times and they want a title shot because of it. Alex says what if The Guns beat FTR 3 out of 5 times? Alex challenges them to a Best of 5 series. Alex says they should do Match 1 tonight.

Stokeley says no and says it's not happening in Cleveland. Stoke says The Guns had their shot at FTR years ago and disappeared. Stoke says this is a big money match and a dream match/series. He says there's no other place to kick it off than Wrestledream.

Thoughts: I didn't get this segment at all. FTR has a good case for a title shot and just agreed to a Best of 5 series instead with no title shot guaranteed. Meanwhile, The Guns have done nothing here because they haven't been around.

Adam Page's crew does a promo from Grand Slam Paris. Page asks what Swerve thinks he's doing. Page says Swerve tried to drag him through the same hell they have been through. Reed top rope 450's inside and KO gets his knees up. Reed diving poisonrana's him from the top. Reed misses a top rope 450 and KO rainmakers him. KO pins him.

Thoughts: Reed didn't do much but big spots and KO didn't do a great job of selling  them. Reed would hit something big then KO would get right after. KO had some weird black stuff in his hair during this match that fell out.

We get a video on MJF being PWI's #1 in the PWI 500.

The New Level and Prince Nana do a promo. Kofi and Creed ask where Swerve is. Nana says Swerve has serious family business to take care of, but he sent a good friend to take his spot. Hart superkicks Meg. Meg goes for a tarantula and SB dropkicks Meg on the ropes. Hart does a flying octopus to Meg then Thek and SB do the flying octopus to the other two opponents. Meg's team then hits triple side slams.

We go to PiP break and return. SB flying headscissors Meg. SB step up knees her on the ropes. Meg buckle bombs SB. SB takes facekicks from Meg and Lena then gets german'd by Meg. Mone meteora's SB for 2.

SB basement dropkicks Mone. Thek and Lena get in. Thek superkicks Lena in the gut and forearms her. Thek spinning headscissors Lena into the ropes. Thek facekicks Lena on the ropes. Thek top rope crossbodies Lena.

Thoughts: That's yet another loss for Divine Dominion. That team never used to lose and is now losing a lot. What we got was fine here. Thek and Mone was the best part of this. Hart and SB didn't offer a lot but their usual moves.

Idolo flying forearms TC. Will comes in and forearms TC down. Will handspring corkscrew kicks TC and springboard forearms him. Will hits Kawada kicks and they trade chops. Will hook kicks him. TC pumping knees him on the apron. Joe running back elbows Will and back enzugiri's him. Will superkicks him in the gut and Joe walks away from his os cutter attempt. Joe sentons him for 2.

Will hits a handspring double back elbow on his opponents. Idolo tags in and knocks TC off the apron. Idolo back rolls Joe and TC ddt's Idolo over the 2nd rope on a title on the apron. Joe puts Idolo in the choke and Idolo is out. Joe's team wins.

Thoughts: It was an alright tag. It wasn't Will and Idolo's best work or anything as they didn't do their big moves, but it was fine enough. It didn't really matter who won here.

Joe gives Will his title belt after. Will then checks on Idolo and helps him out.

Renee tries to interview The Death Riders in the back. Mox throws stuff around as he's mad about losing. Mox yells and says he's in a great deal of pain. Renee asks what kind of pain he is in and he says he can't tell the difference anymore. Shafir grabs Mox. She tells him the only way out is through. Mox says "through" and starts shoving people.

Thoughts: They did a lot of cartwheels and stuff here without actually hitting anything. It was mostly all superkicks and chops here. It was acceptable and Ric won as expected.

Renee interviews Don Callis, Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight. The Young Bucks are supposed to be here. Kyle says they are incredible talents individually and says Don is the head of the family. Nick says this is his celebration and he runs the music and pyro. He says the people don't need his music. He says Cleveland needs a reminder over how legendary his win was over Jericho. We then get a tribute video to it.

Jericho says Nick left out some parts of the match in the video but he knows guys in the editing department. He says he made a video of his own. We then see Nick using a low blow to win.

Chris asks him what he needs to apologize for. Nick cites various insults and him saying he's a better wrestler. Chris agrees and says he has lessons left for Nick to learn. Nick asks him what the other reason was that he wanted to come out here for. Chris says he showed him that so that he could do this - he then low blows him and says he will see him on Saturday.

Thoughts: I wouldn't have had Britt take the fall here since she's just returning, though Dani got her first win in here. It was a bit random but fine.

The heels attack Hyan and Dani after. Queen Aminata comes out to chase the heels away with a belt.

We get an Ilja Dragunov teaser video, though they don't show his face.

Thoughts: DA won as expected here. They did work some limbs a bit but they didn't focus that hard on any of them. DA's much higher on the totem pole so he won here in this random bout. It was acceptable but Darby didn't do anything wild here.

The Don Callis Family comes out and stomps DA after. United empire comes out. Lance Archer is double superkicked out. Okada dropkicks Will and goes for a rainmaker. Cope comes out and then stares down Okada. Cope and Okada trade shots and Cope impaler ddt's him. Ricochet ends up hitting a spirit gun on Mike Bailey from behind then holds the AEW Title up. Will Ospreay knocks down Joe. Cope spears Will on accident while aiming for Okada. Okada rainmakers Cope. DA dropkicks Okada out and coffin drops multiple people on the outside. Security comes to break up the battle as the show ends.

Overall thoughts: It was a 3 hour special that went 3.5 hours. I'm glad I did not stay up to watch all of this. If they are going to run long, it's better if they just start early instead of running past 11:30PM. As always with these specials, there was a lot of stuff that probably could have been cut. The main focus here was building up Clockwork Carnage at WrestleDream. It's essentially a random match though, so there's only so much that can be done with it.

Wrestling wise, almost everything was fine here, though I didn't like Cage/Takeshita or Okada/Reed much. I would maybe say the opener was the best match here. I wouldn't say anyone gave their very best effort here as the PPV is this weekend and no one wanted to get hurt ahead of it. There was a ton of last minute matchmaking here with multiple matches being set up as they just didn't have a lot of time to set stuff up for the PPV. And to be honest with AEW pretty much having a set number of fans that doesn't change all that much, I don't know if it matters.

I'd give it a 6 out of 10 overall. There was a bunch of decent wrestling here and it was okay, just nothing was must see.

Kofi springboard dropkicks him for 2. Band pop up kicks him and Kofi single leg M.Bison stomps him. Band boots him out of the corner and superkicks him. Band is caught coming off the 2nd rope and Kofi ranhei's him into the buckles.

Kofi top rope crossbodies Band's back for 2. Band top rope moonsault slams him for 2. Page and Swerve have words outside. Kofi blocks a reverse GTS and hits a ranhei for 2. Page and Swerve then push each other and get separated. Band hits a 21plex on Kofi and pins him.

Thoughts: They should have ended it with the moonsault slam, but it was fine otherwise. Kofi kept Band in check a bit and got some decent wrestling out of him. This was alright and worked out well. This was a bit of a random one. Kofi losing doesn't really hurt him as he's not a singles guy right now anyway.

Will Ospreay and Mike Bailey are interviewed. Will says he lost 11 out of 13 times to Okada. He says Clockwork Carnage is a great opportunity and his creation. Mike says he wants to win that match and won't hold anything back if they fight. Will says he will hold nothing back tonight.

JP beats the 10 count in and gives Joe the finger. Joe sentons him. Joe goes for a choke and JP gets a 2 count on him. JP superkicks him. Jack sits up top and is enzugiri'd. Joe muscle busters him. Joe then pins him.

Thoughts: Joe thankfully won here. They had the right idea though Jack's offense was a little hard to buy at times vs the much bigger Joe. This was fine. Joe bled a little from the head here.

Kazuchika Okada does a promo outside at the Arc de Triomphe. He says his English has gotten good he's been told but his French has gotten better. He says he will make history in Paris and they will have to build the Arc Okada when he wins. He says he becomes the new AEW champ tonight.

Gabe brainbusters Mark for 2. Jake and Mox go out together. Gabe running knees Mark. Gabe sunset flips him. Gabe no sells a backdrop then Mark does as well. Mark lariats Gabe down then gutwrench piledrivers him. Mark pins him.

Thoughts: Big upset with Mark pinning Gabe. I would have bet money on Mox's team winning. It was a hard hitting match with a lot of lariats and it was alright.

Nick Wayne talks Chris Jericho. He says Jericho saw a lot of himself in him. Nick tells him to say that he will be a star and a multi-time champ. Nick says he doesn't respect him, just what he has done. He says when he beats him in France, it will mean he's better than he was then and now.

KF gets a 2 count on him. DA is busted open. KF hits elbows to the busted open head of DA. KF's head is rammed into the exposed buckle. DA scorpion deathlocks him. KF rope breaks. DA top rope coffin drops him twice and pins him.

Thoughts: They didn't overdo it too bad but the selling wasn't that good. Darby took a hard brainbuster on the top buckle here that busted him open big time. I was a little surprised to see Kyle lose since he's had a lot of titles lately. It was alright.

The Dogs say The Young Bucks go to war with them in Paris. They say they beat them one and will do it again. The Bucks say they are the tag champs and say to get ready. One of them says, "What's a dog doing?", then he barks.

Queen Aminata is interviewed. She ends up talking in French and says she will be the new AEW Women's champ.

AEW Women's Title - Mercedes Mone (c) vs Queen Aminata

Queen then gets a 2 count on her inside. Mone uses her knees and drops Queen chest first onto them. Mone then pins her with a money maker.

Thoughts: It was an okay bout and Mone won as expected. Queen mostly stuck to strikes and Mone took some big bumps for her. I liked this and it went well.

Thekla comes out and Mone tries to hit her with the title. Thek spears her. Thek grabs the title and taunts her with it.

Swerve Strickland and The New Level do a promo. Swerve asks what Pae is doing by getting involved in their matches. Swerve says they beat them at All In and All Out. Swerve says if he wants a rematch they will beat them every single time. Creed wants a 2/3 falls match for the trios titles at Wrestledream.

AEW World Title - Will Ospreay (c) vs Kazuchika Okada

Don Callis is with Okada.

Will wristlocks him. KO trips him and grab his leg. The crowd chants for Will and KO mocks the crowd. KO cleanbreaks Will and waves his arms around. KO shoulders him over. Will monkey flips him and armdrags him. Will sweeps him. Will ducks a rainmaker and they stand off.

KO boots him in the gut. Will flying headscissors him down. Will slingshot plancha's him outside. Will slams him and knee drops him for 2. Will chops him in the corner. Will boots him out of the corner then he gets dropkicked down to the floor when he sits up top.

KO shotgun dropkicks him. KO dropkicks him. KO goes for a rainmaker but takes one from Will. Will ripcord spinning forearms him in the back of the neck. Will hits a styles clash on him for 2. KO short arm lariats him.

Will back elbows him then running hidden blades him for 2. Will hits a stormbreaker for 2. Will hidden blades him and pins him.

Thoughts: Will won as expected. It was another okay match here. Okada kept Will in check and didn't do anything too wild. They didn't go all the way out or get as much time as it would have on a PPV, but what we got was more than enough for free TV.

Mike Bailey comes out for Will. We see Samoa Joe looking on in the aisle.

Overall thoughts: This oddly only went a few minutes overtime. I was expecting this to go until 10:30PM or so. I had no problem with this at all. Every match was fine here and we got a near PPV level show on TV, which you can't beat. No one went all out like they would on a PPV, but it was more than enough. I would say the main was the match of the night here. It was a good show and probably about as good as you can get on TV wrestling wise. I'd give this an easy 7 out of 10 and I liked it.

AEW Dynamite 9/30/2026 A Tribute to Pac

AEW Dynamite 9/30/2026 A Tribute to Pac

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/09/aew-dynamitecollision-9232026.html

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/10/aew-dynamite-1062026-grand-slam-france.html

Note - PAC passed away on Sunday and this is a tribute show for him.

Note 2 - I'm not going to be critical here or really make a lot of remarks about some of the ongoings on this show. I don't want to come off poorly or upset anyone. This will not be a typical review.

We are in Pittsburgh, PA. Excalibur and Tony Schiavone are on commentary

We get a graphic for PAC to start.

Excalibur talks about Pac.

Tony Schiavone is in the ring with a photo of Pac and a wreath. He says we are all family and says they are grief-stricken. He puts over Pac.

We see footage from after All Out with The Death Riders talking. Mox says Will Ospreay was better than him tonight. Mox says he gave everything he had. He says part of the game is losing and says you will lose in wrestling and life and lose people and opportunities. He says things don't go your way in life and you gotta smile and give it your best as every single day is a gift. He says Will was the best tonight and he just earned more hard work. He says there's 2 kind of eulogies at funerals - this is who this guy is and this is what they did. He says he doesn't know which one he is. Mox says we need to take this gift and do something with it. The Death Riders then walk away. Mox was the only one who talked here.

We then get a 10 bell salute to Pac. The wrestlers are all on the stage.

AEW Continental Title - Jon Moxley (c) vs Orange Cassidy

Mox hammerlocks him and OC ropebreaks. OC flips him by the wrist. OC armdrags him. OC sunset flips him for 2. They trade pin attempts and stand off. They do a double knuckle lock and Mox puts him down.

Mox goes for a grounded choke and OC ropebreaks. OC side headlocks him. OC shoulders him over and Mox back elbows him down. Mox throws him out and bangs his head off the commentary table.

We go to PiP break and return. Mox piledrivers him for 2. Mox hits mounted corner punches.  Mox's head is banged off the buckles. Mox dropkicks OC off the apron. Mox throws OC in, OC then rolls out the other side. OC topes him outside. OC spinning ddt's him for 2. OC goes up top and Mox rolls away from him.

OC superman punches him and Mox cutters him. OC does his weak leg kicks as Mox forearms him. They trade forearms. Mox then does weak shin kicks to him. OC puts his hands in his pockets. Mox teases doing it but gives him the finger. OC dropkicks him and hits a superman punch. OC hits another. OC casadora rolls him for 2. OC stunners him nd Mox goes for a choke. OC PK's him. Mox corner lariats him then running lariats him. Mox then goes for a brutalizer and OC rolls him up. OC then rolls him into his own brutalizer. Mox curbstomps him then hits a death rider ddt. Mox then pins him.

Thoughts: Mox won as expected. OC screwed around as usual but at least they way they did it was a little more acceptable than usual. It was a longer bout and I thought it was average.

Bryan Danielson comes out wearing a Pac shirt and hugs Mox.

Adam Page talks about Pac.

Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay and The Young Bucks (Nick and Matt Jackson) vs The Don Callis Family (Kevin Knight, Kyle Fletcher, Trent Baretta and Rocky Romero)

The heels attack at the start. Kenny is sent into the rails. A Buck takes trunning corner attacks and a Kyle backe elbow for 2. A Buck is popped up into a headscissors on Kyle. Kevin takes a gutbuster + flipping neckbreaker combo. Trent takes a sunset flip german. Rocky hits a double hurricanrana on The Bucks and celebrates.

Rocky gets trapped by the faces and takes chops. Rocky goes down and out. Trent takes a double boot then a facekick and headbuster. Kyle is held for a dropkick off the apron. The faces all do stereo topes. The faces hit stereo mounted corner punches.

Trent takes a buckle bomb. Kevin springboard plancha's out. We go to PiP break and return.  Rocky takes punches and is double booted out of the corner. A Buck apron plancha's Kyle outside. Rocky corner lariats a Buck. Rocky then takes northern lights suplexes. A Buck top rope double crossbodies Kyle and Rocky. A Buck diving headscissors + armdrags off the top.

A Buck sends the heels into each other. Page springboard lariats Kyle on the apron. Page then slingshot plancha's out. Page fallaway slams Kevin. Page running ssp's Kevin. Kenny tags in and Kevin eye rakes him.

Kenny dragon suplexes Kevin then Rocky and Trent. Kyle michinoku drivers Kenny. Kevin springboard lariats Kyle. Rocky hits a shiranui on Page. Nick takes a jumping double knee. Kevin springboards and runs into a Kenny flying knee.

Rocky takes 4-person superkick. The faces all 4 jumps off the top and Kenny gets a 2 count on Trent. Trent takes a buckshot lariat + pumping knee from behind. Trent then takes a BTE trigger. Kenny hits an OWA on Rocky and pins him.

Thoughts: It was fine. The faces mostly just did their offense here and the heels were their punching bags, who put up very little fight. It was an Elite Party here for the most part with them just having fun.

We get tribute to Pac.

Renee shares with us a statement from Pac's family.

The New Level, Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana come out. They put their trios titles down and put a Pac towel over them.

Ricochet talks about Pac.

They hug to start.

Ric sitout powerbombs him for 2. Ric ssp's him and kicks him in the back of the head on the landing. Ric top rope ssp's him for 2. Will hits a styles clash for 2. Will hidden blade's Ric. Will hits Pac's black arrow and pins him.

Thoughts: I didn't like this one. It was indy style wrestling and totally not my thing. Nothing really meant all that much here and it was similar to the highflying match they had years ago in NJPW.

Ric and Will hug after.

Will Ospreay talks about Pac.

Persephone, Britt Baker and Mercedes Mone vs Thunder Rosa, Hyan and Marina Shafir

Pers side headlocks Hyan and Hyan sweeps her. Hyan running facekicks her. Pers takes a double back elbow. Hyan legdrops Pers and Rosa basement dropkicks Pers. Rosa flying headscissors Pers. Rosa sunset flips her and Pers basement dropkicks her for 2. Britt hits forearms on Hyan.

Pers takes a double boot from Rosa and Hyan. MS comes in and drops Britt and someone else. MS 619's headscissors Pers and drives her head into the apron. We go to PiP break and return.

MS snap suplexes Mone for 2 then does a reverse sleeper. Pers breaks it up. MS rebound germans Pers. Britt slingblades MS. Everyone starts hitting moves on each other one after the other. Britt curbstomps MS. Britt goes for lockjaw on MS. MS hip throws Britt then submits her with a brutalizer.

Thoughts: It was acceptable and Marina winning with the brutalizer was a nice touch. I think Britt took a bump here, which she did not do last time around. It was pretty standard for the most part and Marina was put over some.

Various wrestlers talk about Pac.

The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia, Gabe Kidd and Wheeler Yuta) and Bryan Danielson vs The Don Callis Family (Mark Davis, Jake Doyle, Lance Archer, Josh Alexander and Wardlow)

This is Wardlow's return after about 2 years away. Him being with The Family is new. The Riders set up Pac's chair and huddle around it. This is Bryan Danielson's return after about 15 months off.

Everyone fights. Wardlow and CC fight in the ring. Lance is sent into the rails. Yuta dropkicks Jake in the knee and basement dropkicks him. Bryan hits chest kicks on Josh and headbutts him. Jake sends Bryan into the rails.

Jake slams Garcia. Lance pounds on Garcia. Lance's head is banged off the buckles. Gabe headbutts Lance and Lance knees him in the gut. Lance clubs on him. Josh chinlocks Gabe and Gabe jawbreakers him.

Josh hits germans on Bryan. Bryan buzzsaw kicks him. Garcia is tagged in. He hits shots on Jake. Garcia chops Jake. Gabe and Clauio are double lariated out. Yuta and Bryan hit stereo flying knees. Lance crossbodies those two together.

Lance grabs Marina by the throat and Marina triangles him over the top rope. Claudio tornillo's Lance outside. Garcia dances. Jake takes running corner attacks. Bryan and Yuta hit stereo topes out. Gabe does Pac's rebound lariat on Jake. Garcia sharpshooters Jake and Claudio curbstomps Jake. Garcia pins Jake.

Thoughts: The Death Riders won as expected here. What we got was acceptable. Bryan looked alright but was taking it a bit easy on some of the bumps. Wardlow didn't really stick out or particularly impress.

We then get a Pac video.

The Death Riders then pose around Pac's empty chair that he came out with and a spotlight is lit on the chair to close the show.

Overall thoughts: It's a tribute show. I don't want to be too critical or negative here. It was nice of them to do a tribute show for Pac and they did a nice job with it. I will not be rating this one. I apologize if it wasn't up to my usual standards or what you expected, but I think this is the best way to go about it.

AEW Trios Title - Swerve Strickland and The New Level (Kofi and Austin Creed) (c) vs The Demand (Ricochet, Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun)

Toa misses a corner splash and Creed death valley drivers him. We get some fast action and Kofi corkscrew kicks Ric. Toa takes a ranhei + house call kick combo and is pinned.

Thoughts: It went longer than it needed to. They did a lot more than they had to here and everyone took their fair share of hard bumps here. The finish wasn't the cleanest. They had some nice spots here. It was still okay but it would have been better with less time. The New Level won as expected.

Brodido and Adam Page come out after. Page congratulates The New Level and Swerve. He says the titles felt important in their hands in feel important in Swerve's team's hands. He says Page is no better or different than him. King says we will see if 3 weeks is long enough for them to keep their belts. Bandido then says something in Spanish and says the titles are the most wanted and belong to them.

Darby Allin and Steven Borden are interviewed. Adam Copeland comes in. He says he told Christian to sit this out. He says Darby had his back from Day 1 and says Borden will be massive here. He says he heard Borden say he wanted to challenge the tag champs if they win at All Out. Cope says Borden is reaching for legends now and should ask his dad what it means. He says Darby wrestling him is like climbing 2 Everest's. Darby says there's a lot he'd like to say, but it's challenge accepted.

The Young Bucks, Cope and Cage and FTR come out to talk together. There's chairs and ladders set up around the ring. Stokely Hathaway says they have nothing to say and says to wrap this up. A Buck doesn't belive it. He says FTR are The Dudley Boys in match on Saturday. The other Buck says they failed in their chances to win the titles back. He says they have been beaten by both teams and say it might be their last opportunity to win the titles back. He says they will fight like hell to become the first 4x AEW Tag champs.

Cage says it will be their last opportunity. Cage says they are the one time champs and it will stay that way. Cage says they are great teams but Cage and Cope are generational. She says last time her and Thek wrestled for the title, she wasn't a champ. She says Thek has a new version of Willow and she doesn't know how dangerous that can be. She says she will see her on Saturday.

Tomasso Ciampa vs Jake Doyle

This is a random one. Jake misses a corner charge. TC hits him and boots him in the corner. TC flying lariats Jake and throws him out. TC running knees Jake on the apron. Jake bodyblocks TC.

Jake bangs TC's face off the mat. Jake lariats TC down. TC ddt's him over the 2nd rope. TC hits shots on Jake. TC running knees Jake in the face against the rails outside. Jake drops TC face first on a chair.

Jake running shoulders TC against the LED rails then bangs his head off of them. TC's face is banged off the mat. TC knees him in the face then pumping knees him. TC pins him.

Thoughts: I didn't like any of this. It was a heel vs heel match and was random. Jake survived a 2nd rope air raid crash for some reason and they didn't respect Jake's size much at all.

Ciampa points to Don Callis and says this is as much for Don as it is for Okada. He says people once asked what if between him and Okada. He says they don't need to do that anymore as they are on the same island now. He says they don't need to wait until Chicago.

Kazuchika Okada comes out. Okada says Ciampa asked for The Rainmaker but he has bad news for him. He says Ciampa won't get him tonight. He pretends to cry and says he's so sorry. He says Ciampa will get what he wants and he will get what he wants - to kick his @ss and show the world he is not on his level, b!tch.

TC says he's losing his hearing and says if he thinks he's scare of him, he has another thing coming. He says he's getting another version of The Psycho Killer he hasn't seen before. He says he will expose him and take the International Title, b!tch.

Thoughts: It was average. Hyan got most of the offense in here and could have been a bit cleaner. Pers won as expected.

United Empire (Will Ospreay and Mike Bailey) vs The Death Riders (Gabe Kidd and Claudio Castagnoli)

Mox is on commentary for this.

Gabe backs up Mike in the corner. Mike chops him there. Mike running facekicks him. They trade chops. Gabe misses a senton. Mike PK's him. Mike sits on top and is pushed down.  They fight outside and Gabe chops Will out there.

CC giant swings Will but Will hits a spinning ddt off of it. Will hits a styles clash on CC and pins him.

Thoughts: It was fine. We got a lot of stereo spots here and it had a lot of action. They didn't go too crazy here and neither Will or Mike did a lot of their wild spots and dives.

Will gets on the mic after. He says he feels grateful for the fans. He says this place didn't exist once and says he's honored to be the champ. He says as long as AEW has been alive, so has Jon Moxley. Will thanks Mox for the guidance, for being the ace and for breaking him. He says he's the man he is today because of it. He says the one thing he learned from him is that the title is what it's all about. He says he risked his life for the title. He says he's here to attack for the new generation and says Mox has been dumped in the ocean with a great white shark. He says Mox is the challenge and Will says he's the champ this time.

He says he wanted to face the killers and there's no more of a killer than Shibata. He says he will have to survive Shibata before facing Joe.

Divine Dominion and The Brawling Birds have a face to face on the stage with a table set up. Renee moderates it. Meg says the table with tea and sweets on it is a gift. Lena asks if they want them to pretend they are special. Meg says no matter how hard they fight, they don't deserve the  tag titles. Lena says "undefeated" is a stretch as they beat them one on one. Lena says the will beat them within an inch of their lives Saturday. Lena says to have a cup of tea before it comes crumbling down. Alex says there's nothing they really need to say but says may the best team win. Hayter then hits Meg with a tea pot and the four fight on the stage. Hayter is thrown over the the table. Meg says may the best team win. The Birds then take stereo slams on the stage.

The Conglomeration talk in the back after last week's Dynamite. Kyle says they will get back on their feet. Strong says he's sick of the we'll get 'em next time stuff. Thoughts: It was a random one and the faces lost as expected. What we got was fine. The heels took some big bumps here which was a little surprising with the big show being this weekend.

Nick says it's not about the necklace, he lost to CJ and shouldn't have. He says it won't happen again. He says wrestling is all he has known. He says all he has known is to be a wrestler and says he might need to change who he is to beat CJ. He challenges him to a match at Grand Slam France. He says may the man who knows more wins. SB slaps her. Queen headbutts her in the face. Queen running knees her in the face and pins her.

Thoughts: It was a bit one-sided in Queen's favor. Queen's offense looked good as usual and we got the usual Skye match. It wasn't that bad.

Queen is attacked after by Hart. Mina saves Queen and the four fight. Thekla comes down and hits forearms. Thek does her bridge then Willow Nightingale comes down. Willow hits the heels. The heels escape and Mone gets up on the table and holds her title at Willow.

Thoughts: The match was fine with a lot of action as usual. It was nice to see Pac's corkscrew SSP. Pac won this one as expected. Did we really need to see this? Nope.

Pac puts Ace in the brutalizer after. Jay White comes down and beats up Pac. The Dogs and Death Riders come out and beat up Jay. The rest of The Bang Bang Gang then comes down and fights. Andrade El Idolo then comes out and lariats Pac down outside. Idolo beats up Pac in the crowd.

Overall thoughts: This ran until about 11:25PM or so. That's absolutely ridiculous on a weeknight when the vast majority of people watching have to be up early the next day. And there was tons of stuff that could have been cut out. It was the usual AEW show with tons and tons of wrestling but it had a fair amount of talking segments too. I'd say maybe the Ospreay/Bailey tag was the best match of the night. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 overall as most of the wrestling was decent and it was an okay show, but the run time on this one sucked.
