WWE Monday Night Raw 9/21/2026

 We are in San Antonio, TX. Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett are on commentary.

We see various wrestlers arrive and hang out. LA Knight and Penta walk up to each other but nothing happens.

Penta comes out to talk. He says last week was one of the biggest nights of his life. He says Roman was the better man but it's not over. He says he wants another shot at Roman and says it's only the beginning.

Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonaugh come out. Dom says no one cares about his hopes and dreams. He says the people want to hear from someone who stood tall in Mexico like Judgment Day. JD says Penta had his title shot and lost last week. He says Dom will win MITB and be world champ before he gets a shot again. Dom says Penta needs to put respect on his name as Penta's a luchador and he's the king of the luchadores. Penta says he's the king of something else and says Dom's dad is the king of the luchadores. Penta then gets jumped by Dom and JD. 

Penta is thrown out and hit by both. Penta back body drops Dom and hits JD. Penta top rope crossbodies both and gets them out of there.

The Uso's and Jacob Fatu talk. Fatu says he's signing the same song week in and week out. He says the wrong move is for them to make the first move. Solo Sikoa comes in with a white flag. He says 946 won't stop until everyone is finished. Solo says they need to work as a team. Jimmy asks if he's looking for protection. Jey says Solo needs to acknowledge them and Roman as the tribal chief to join.

Solo says it won't happen. Jey tells him to walk out of the room and he does.

Women's Money in the Bank Qualifier - Iyo Sky vs Roxanne Perez vs La Catalina

RP pushes Cat and slaps her. RP slaps Iyo and slides out. RP evades the other two then is hit by both. RP takes a double dropkick. Iyo and Cat shake hands. Iyo pulls her down. Cat armdrags her. Iyo cartwheels off the ropes and backflips. 

All three girls try pins. RP tries to pin both at the sme time. RP is lifted into a headscissors on Cat. Cat armdrags Iyo and they do a triple standoff. Iyo rolls RP then Cat 2nd rope dropkicks Iyo. RP hits Cat from the side then hits mounted shots on her. RP goes for a tope and Iyo forearms her. Iyo asai moonsaults RP outside. Cat top rope plancha's both.

We go to break and return. RP does a russian legsweep + ddt combo for 2. Cat is sent shoulder first into the post. Iyo buzzsaw kicks RP. RP shining wizards Iyo and Cat top rope crossboides RP. Cat hits corner hip attacks on her opponents. Cat fisherman suplexes RP for 2.

Iyo drops Cat with a shot. RP double jump asai moonsaults Cat. Iyo rolls RP into a double stomp for 2. Iyo double underhook backbreakers Cat. Iyo goes up top and RP pushes her into the post. Cat cradles RP for 2. Cat pump kicks RP. 

RP throws Cat off the 2nd rope then hurricanrana's Iyo down. Cat flying knees RP. The girls trade shots. RP spin kicks Cat and Iyo kicks RP in the face. Iyo is on the buckles and gets knocked down hard. 

Cat gori specials RP for 2. Iyo top rope double dropkicks her opponents. Iyo meteora's both opponents in the corner. Iyo top rope moonsaults Cat and RP code red's Iyo. RP pins Iyo.

Thoughts: It was an okay match. It was more athletic than the usual bout with everyone flying here. Catalina shouldn't have lost here since she's the AAA Reina de Reinas champ. It kind of sucks Iyo lost as that means she won't be in MTB where she would shin.

LA Knight and Solo Sikoa talk. LA asks if Solo is joining Bloodline again and says they just got him out of it. LA says they got big opportunities and pick the bones after MITB. Solo tells him to win the title tonight.

LA Knight comes out. He says Penta and Roman tore the house down last week but now it's about him vs Roman. He says he hasn't fought Roman in 3 years. He says it's been 3 years of earning and 3 years of Roman and his crew making sure he's not in the plans. He says he is the plans.

He says Roman always wants to acknowledge him. He says he acknowledges Roman won by himself last week and says he acknowledges his greatness. He says he's the greatest champ of this generation. LA says everyone wants him to win the title but doesn't believe it will happen. He says he doesn't blame the fans as he has lost and hasn't won the big one. 

He says he thought last week that he doesn't know if anyone can beat Roman including him. He says it's a hard pill to swallow. He says Bloodline hasn't been with Roman lately. He said he will make his opportunity. He says he will do it all by himself. He says he will acknowledge himself or Roman as the champ at MITB.

Byron Saxton interviews Je'Von Evans. He says Evans will be the youngest man to compete in MITB. He says he will be the youngest MITB winner. The Vision walk in. Logan says he won't win. Bron Breakker gets up in Evans' face. He says MITB is his and says it's not Evans' concern. Evans says they both have their gear on and could fight right now. He says it's 1v5, then he slaps Bron with his 5 fingers. Bron then holds his team back and says it's time they start using their brains. Bron says he knows what he's doing and he's history.  

Bron Breakker vs Je'Von Evans

Bron drives him out of the ring to start and knees him in the ribs. Bron drives Evans back into the rails. Evans hits him on the apron then topes him. Evans hits punches on him outside and bangs his head off the apron. 

Evans hits punches in the corner. Bron hits corner spears. Evans then hits corner spears. Evans knocks him out of the ring with a shot. Bron's head is banged off the commentary table. Bron runs at him and is sent over the rail. Evans then runs around the ring and dives on him over the rail.

We go to PiP break and return. Bron walks up the buckles and hurricanrana's Evans down. Bron run at him and is superkicked. Evans running lariats him multiple times. Evans sends him into the 2nd buckle and corkscrew kicks him in the back of the head. Evans springboard diving lariats him.

Bron gorilla presses him and is ddt'd off of it. Evans jumping shiranui's him for 2. Maxxine Dupri distracts Evans from the apron. Austin Theory nails Evans with a forearm. Bron black hole slams Evans for 2. 

Bron misses a corner spear and goes into the post. Austin gets on the apron and Evans hits him. Evans suicide dives Bronson Reed then suicide dives Bron. Evans corkscrew kicks Reed off the ropes. Evans goes up top and Austin sweepts him. Evans wins via DQ.

Thoughts: It was an okay bout. Evans flew around and gave us some exciting moments and Bron used his power against him. It was more of a showcase for Evans than Bron and Bron not beating him just shows how not favored he is these days.

The Vision beat up Evans after. Oba Femi comes out and beats up The Vision. Oba hits running corner euros and Reed splashes him. Oba no sells it and boots him down. Logan comes in with a chair and Oba blocks it. Oba chairs The Vision. Oba flying euros Reed then chairs him. Oba then throws Evans onto The Vision outside.

Mark Henry is in the crowd.

We get a 946 video. Keys says they are crossing the line tonight and says nobody is safe. 

We see a video of Joe Hendry singing about how JD McDonaugh's mom fell in love with a funko pop with fans.

The Judgment Day comes out to talk in the ring. JD says the funko pop stuff isn't funny but is sad. JD says it needs to end and says his mom is stressing over it. He says his dad is not a funko pop and he has an ormal sized head. Raquel says she's embarrassed by the crowd's behavior and calls them haters. 

Liv Mogan says tonight is about celebrating their blessing and said they proved they run Raw. She says they embarrassed Vaquer, Rey Mysterio and El Gradne Americano. She says Vaquer can't hide from her forever and says what happened in Chile was a screwjob and a tragedy. she says she's coming for Steph and Becky Lynch. She says to come out now and give her the rematch so she can prove she's the greatest women's champs of all time. 

Becky Lynch interrupts from the crowd. Becky says she has known JD since he's 12 and talked to his mom. She says mom is stressed due to his actions with Judgment Day and she expected more from him. She says Liv found out it's harder to hold onto a title when you have to defend it. She says the first title shot belongs to her and says welcome to the big time.

Stephanie Vaquer comes out. She says she's the women's champ. She says she won the title on her own. Steph says Liv is mad that she won her title back at home. She says she will give her a rematch and prove she won on her own. Becky Lynch interrupts. Steph says she's an amazing ref and she will give her a match too. She says real champs aren't afraid to defend their title. She says she will talk to Adam Pearce and says she's the world champ. She then holds up her title.

We get a Lyra Valkyria video. She says she had to take extreme measures to separate herself from Bayley and said being her partner took a year off her career. She says she paid a bigger price against her but it was worth it. She says MITB was her chance to do it. She says Bayley will wish their last match was her last match.

Bayley vs Lyra Valkyria

Bay low topes her before she gets in and pounds on her. Bay sends her into the rails. Bay running knees her in the ring and hits corner lariats. Bay lays her on the top rope and flying knees her. Bay goes for a tope and is forearmed. Lyra bangs Bay's chin off the apron.

Bay blocks a spin kick and backdrops her. Lyra monkey flips her. Lyra top rope diving guillotine legdrops her on the back of the neck for 2. Lyra hits mounted shots on her. Lyra side headlocks her and punches her in the face. Lyra spinning heel kicks her. 

Lyra hits corner spears. They fight on the buckles and Bay pushes her off them twice. Bay top rope elbow drops her for 2. Bay elbow drops her several times. We go to break and return. 

Lyra tornado ddt's her. Lyra misses a top rope moonsault an d Bay basement dropkicks her. They trade shots. Lyra step up enzugiri's her. Lyra eye rakes her and hits a nasty gutwrench powerbomb for 2. Bay belly to belly suplexes her for 2. 

Lyra pushes Bay out of the ring. Bay trips her and hits forearms outside. Lyrai s thrown over the commentary table. They get on the commentary table but Lyra gets away. Bay follows her into the ring and stomp flurries her on the ropes. Lyra throws her into the 2nd rope throat first and pins her.

Thoughts: It was alright but lost a little steam towards the end. Bay took a nasty powerbomb on her neck and Bay was a bit more aggressive here than usual. The finish sucked.

Chad Gable talks to Dragon Lee. He says if he wants to run it back, let him know. Lee wants to focus on MITB. Ethan Page comes in and says Chad is giving out title opportunities every week. Page says Chad got involved in his match with Lee and made sure Lee won. He says Chad is living in lucha fantasy land and says to let him know when he wants to come back to reality. Chad says Page is running his mouth but just keeps standing still.

Adam Peace comes out. He says Lola Vice has signed a contract to be the newest member of Raw and brings her out. Lola comes out. Lola says this mean everything to her. She says her mom taught her to dance and her dad made her an @ss kicker. She says she doesn't care who qualifies for MITB as her fists don't lie. 

Roxanne Perez then comes out. She says no one cares and says she could teach her a thing or two. She says she will show her why she's 2 levels below her at MITB. Lola yells at her and goes for a uraken but Lola ducks. Pearce breaks it up.

Paul Heyman watches in the back. Bron Breakker walks past him. Paul says Oba Femi is still breathing and it's bad bad bad for The Vision. Bron says he's still breathing, which means it's bad bad bad for everyone. Paul says, "Everyone?". Bron then looks at him and says everyone.

We go to the back. 946 throws Solo Sikoa down on the ground and Solo has some big bruises on his face. Solo is thrown in the back of a car and the trunk is shut. The Uso's and Fatu then try to run after them and are upset. Fatu says he told them. LA Knight then comes in and Fatu says they got Solo.

During the break, Dom Mysterio asked Adam Pearce if he gets a buy and Adam tells him to go to the ring. 

Adam Pearce comes out before the main event. He says Solo Sikoa won't be competing tonight. He says they advertised a triple threat and there will be one. He then brings out Penta

Money In The Bank Qualifier - Dominik Mysterio vs Dragon Lee vs Penta

Pent hits Dom and Dom is double teamed against the ropes. Dom is back body dropped out. Penta pops up Lee and is armdragged. Penta flying headscissors Lee. Lee sends him out. Dom pulls Lee out. Penta tope con hilos both. 

We go to break and return. Dom hits chops and boots on Lee. Lee hits superkicks. Lee rebound germans Penta then superkicks him. Lee tope con hilos Penta. Lee sitout powerbombs Dom for 2. Dom rolls up Penta for 2.

Dom hits Lee on the buckles. Penta enzugiri's Lee on the buckles. They trade shots there. Dom is in tree of woe and Lee top rope double stomps him. Penta overhead belly to belly suplexes Lee into the buckles and Lee shotgun dropkicks Dom.

Penta up and over backcrackers Lee for 2. Dom slingshot swantons Penta a few times then he get superkicked by Lee. Dom throws Lee over the top rope. Dom topes Lee. 

Dom knees Penta in the gut. Penta corner handstands into a pendulum double boot on Dom. Lee flying headscissors Penta then corner dropkicks Dom. Lee jumps over the top and diving headscissors Penta outside. Lee goes for tope and Dom 619's him. Dom emerald flowsions Lee for 2. 

Pneta ddt's Lee and hits a made in Japan on Dom for 2. Lee tornado ddt's Dom. Lee hidden blade's Penta for 2. Dom hits  2 suplexes on Lee and Lee hidden blades him. Lee hits destino on him for 2. Penta and Lee trade shots. Penta superkicks him and Lee poisonrana's him. 

Dom knocks Lee off the buckles. Penta gets his knees up on Dom's frogsplashes. Lee styles clashes Dom for 2. Penta canadian destroyers Lee on the apron. Dom 619's Penta and top rope splashes him for 2. 

Dom pulls the top buckle off. Dom's head is banged off the exposed buckle. Penta springboard diving canadian destroyers Dom and pins him.

Thoughts: Well, we knew Lee wasn't winning this one. It was a workrate match here with a lot of action. They didn't go too crazy with it and it was an okay main. But it was one of the weakest Raw main events ever with very little starpower here.  

Overall thoughts: I thought they had too much Spanish speaking on this show. I'm sure some people enjoyed it, but if the show is going to continue in this direction, it's going to create a lot of problems. The show was lacking bigtime in starpower, but with all the retirements, I don't even know who is left outside of maybe Roman, Seth, Cody, Orton and Drew. WWE relied on older guys for too long and it's leading to downright bizarre stuff like Dragon Lee in the main event. The opener was okay and probably the best match of the night. Breakker/Evans was okay but had a lame finish. Bayley/Lyra had another weak finish but the match was alright. The main was okay wrestling wise, but it was easily one of the weakest Raw main events starpower wise and it's something that would have been a midcard match a few years ago. The 946/Bloodline feud isn't working out as much as they hope and The Vision continues to be a dead end. The wrestling was fine here and easily made this a 6 out of 10, but this show is in some real trouble going forward. They devalued so many people this year like Fatu, Jey and Bron and their replacements are not suitable. The show was okay but that's it.
