Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling Mayhem 9/23/2026

We are in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Don Callis and Mauro Ranallo are our hosts. 

Priscilla Kelly talks in the back about winning the MLP Women's Title. She says she's been through a lot and told she couldn't win. She says the title is for all the people who believed in her. She says she did it and she's the new champ.

Stu Grayson vs Dior Nolins

Stu flying pumping knees Dior to start. Stu then torture rack backbreakers him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was short squash and not much else. 

Stu gets on the mic after. He says Josh Alexander better be watching as he says an angry Stu is the best Stu. He says he has questions and wants answers. He then tells Don Callis to come to the ring. 

Don starts walking and Josh Alexander comes out. Josh then heads down to the ring. 

Josh says this has nothing to do with Don. He says it's not about AEW either. He says it's about the true MLPW Canadian Title. He says Stu's been trying to convince people he's the guy with the replica title. Josh says daddy's home now. He tells Stu to handle it like a pro and leave this for 10/3. He tells him to shake his hand like a man. They shake hands and Josh punches him. They trade punches and Stu takes him down. Stu goes for a pumping knee and Josh slides out. 

Nikki Storm does a video. She says everyone asks her why she attacked Priscilla Kelly. She says they think she lost control. She says she was completely honest for the first time. She says she saw someone else get everything they wanted and she's done pretending. She tells Kelly to enjoy carrying the title. She says she will finish what she started.

"Big Al" Alice Crowley vs Alexia Nicole

Alex is with Taylor Rising and Kris Chambers

They lock up. Alex foot stomps her and side headlocks her. Al hits armdrags. Alex is tripped and Al running boots her in the head for 2. Al's head is banged off the buckles. Alex running knees her in the corner and stomps her. 

Alex snapmares her for 2. Alex then hits mounted shots. Al gets a jack knife pin on her. AL hits some strikes and takes a backcracker for 2. Alex back elbows her. Al hits forearms. Alex dropkicks her. Alex corner meteora's her and suplexes her for 2. 

Al lariats and back elbows her. Al pump kicks her down. Al then backdrops her for 2. Al gets on the buckles and Taylor Rising shoves her down. Alex then pins Al.

Thoughts: It was acceptable. It was mostly all strikes. Alexia got a big win here to put her name on the map some. They did fine but it wasn't super impressive. 

Al is surrounded after. Jody Threats comes out and germans Kris, Taylor and Alexia.

Crazzy Steve does a video. He asks if Psycho Mike thought he did this for him. He says he told him the world was using him, but so was he. He says Mike never stopped to ask who was listening to. He says he told him he wasn't here to take anything from him and he lied. He says he wasn't setting him free but he became who he wanted him to be and Mike never saw it happening.

Johnny TV, TJP and Gabriel Fuerza vs Luigi Primo, El Reverso and Mo Jabari

Primo gets triple teamed and TJP knocks Pimo's partners off the apron. JTV and Gab are sent out. TJP tries to mist Primo but Primo blocks it with pizza dough. Primo then spin the pizza and puts cheese on it. Primo crossbodies TJP for 1.

Reverso and Mo hit stereo topes out. Primo then top rope plancha's JTV. TJP takes an atomic drop, basement dropkicks and Reverse is flapjacked onto him. Primo is backdropped by Gab for 2.

Primo is held upside down, JTV goes for a crotch chop but Primo double boots him as he comes off the buckles. JTV takes corner attacks. Mo neckbreakers JTV. Mo sharpshooters JTV while Reverso crossfaces JTV. 

TJP spin kicks Primo. TJP is then hit with a hart attack. Mo slingshot plancha's TJP. JTV rolls up Reverso for 2. Reverso springboard back kicks JTV. JTV hits starship pain on Reverso and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a shorter bout. What we got wasn't bad and the length helped it. This was a random one. The pizza blocking the mist spot was clever.

Steve Maclin leaves the police station. He goes into a car that Deonna Purrazzo is driving. She asks him to explain why he thinks it's okay to attack people and he coworkers. Steve says he's doing exactly what he's supposed to be doing and says Deonna doesn't understand. 

Steve thanks Deonna for bailing him out of jail and she says she didn't bail him out. Steve then get a video call from Adam Copeland. Cope wants to call him "Big Mac". He says he got Steve out of jail. He says attacking him and Rhino wasn't a good idea. He tells him to hug Deonna tight and kiss her goodnight as he will face him on 10/3. He says Steve doesn't get what's coming for him and says it's not a homecoming but a funeral.

Andrade El Idolo vs Karl Anderson

KA goes for a two sweet but Idolo shoes him away. They lock up. KA backs him up in the corner. KA wristlocks him. Idolo reverses it and takes him down by the arm. KA side headlock takeovers him and Idolo headscissors him. They stand off.

KA boots him off the lock up and bangs his head off the buckles. KA pump kicks him in the corner. Idolo chops him. Idolo misses a corner attack goes down. KA hits knee drops to the face for 2.

KA rakes his face. KA bends over and is kicked. Idolo poses on the ropes. KA misses a charge, goes out and Idolo slingshot plancha's him. Idolo rams KA into the post. 

Idolo takes his pants off. Idolo then takes photos with girls in the front row. We go to break and return. They trade forearms in the ring. Idolo running lariats him and flying forearms him. Idolo then kips up. KA spinebusters him for 2.

Idolo suplexes him three times for 2. They fight on the buckles. Idolo top rope crossbodies him but KA rolls through for 2. Idolo trips him into the buckles. Idolo corner meteora's KA for 2. KA pump kicks him and Idolo spinning back elbows him. Idolo hits the DM and pins him. 

Thoughts: It was a random one but it was one of Karl's better bouts as of late. They kept it moving nd thye worked together a little better than I expected. This was fine.

Doc Gallows gets in the ring and points at Idolo after. Capitain Suicida comes in the ring with a chair to protect Idolo. Cap then chairs Idolo in the back. Cap then takes the mask off and it's Rohan Raja. raja then sits in a chair and taunts him and the crowd.

Overall thoughts: Stu Grayson won a quick squash in the opener. Big Al had an acceptable bout with Alexia Nicole. We had a shorter but acceptable trios match then an okay main. They built up some stuff for next time but there was a fair bit of randomness here. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 as the show was alright overall.
