ROH Pure Title Match - Lee Moriarty (c) vs. Angelico

Ange wristlocks him and they fight over the arm. Ange hammerlocks him and Lee reverses it. Ange full nelson's him and Lee cravates him. Ange takes him down by the arm and wristlocks him. Lee armlocks him. Ange wristlocks him, Lee headflips out then reverses the wristlock. Lee headflips out of an armdrag and they stand off.

Ange cravates him and pulls his arms back. Ange then bridges on his back with it. Ange ties up one leg and ankle locks the other. Lee uses his first ropebreak. They test strength and Lee armdrags him. Lee trips him and does a border city stretch.

Ange ties his legs up and does a figure four variation. Lee takes him down and splits his fingers. Ange uses his second ropebreak to escape. Ange ties his arms up and holds him upside down by the legs. Lee rolls him and does a cool surfboard variation. Ange uses his last ropebreak.

Ange takes him down by the wrist, hooks the arm and half crabs him. Lee ropebreaks. Ange trips him and ties up both of his legs. Lee rolls him and triangles him. Ange ties up both arms and hooks his leg behind his neck. Lee uses his last ropebreak. 

Ange takes him down, Lee rolls him and bridges him for 2. Ange flying armdrags him into a pin attempt. Lee tries a pin. They cradle each other. Lee rolls him up for 2 and does a border city stretch. Ange taps out.

Thoughts: We knew this was going to be a technical wrestling match and it was. It was all holds and that's what this style is supposed to be. I liked it and it was nice to see Angelico in something for a change where he gets a ton of time to show off what he can do. Ange had nice submissions here. This was a solid match.

Nick Wayne and Bandido are interviewed as Ban defends his ROH Title vs Nick Wayne at Death Before Dishonor. Nick complains about how Lexy says his name. Nick says he was TV champ for 380 days and Band says he's champ for over 400 days. Band tells him to stop talking. Nick says honor doesn't win titles but talent does. He says he will become the youngest and greatest ROH champ at Death Before Dishonor. Band says he will show us why he's the most wanted.

Emi Sakura vs. Viva Van

Van shoves her over and stomps her in the corner. Emi hair throws her and boots her. Van flying headscissors her. Van walks the top rope and botches. Van then armdrags her. 

Van spinning heel kicks Emi. Emi goes out and pretends to cry. Van comes out and Emi slaps her. Emi sends her into the steps. Emi crossbodies her against the steps. Emi rakes the eyes then bites her arm.

Emi hits chops. Emi corner crossbodies her. Emi hits more chops. Van upkicks her then top rope dropkicks her. Emi eye rakes her again and hits a twisting reverse ddt. Van back body drops her then axe kicks her for 1.

They fight for moves. Van urakens her is clotheslined down. Van double underhook backbreakers her and pins her.

Thoughts: It wasn't that good. Emi did a lot of heel shenanigans. Van didn't really impress and it didn't get a good flow going here.

The Kingdom are interviewed. They are playing around on phones and recording the interviewer. Mike says they've been on an unbelievable winning streak and have won a lot of matches. Mike says they are using AI to figure out who their partner should be tonight. Matt says their tag partners are The Grizzled Young Veterans. Zack Gibson says they are in desperate need of a win. He says he doesn't trust AI or them and tells them not to mess it up. 

Diamante vs. Allie Katch

Dia hits her from behind. They shoulder battle. Dia drops down and AK sentons her. Dia kicks her in the leg and ddt's her. Dia hits crossface shots and elbow drops her for 2. Dia running chops AK and throws her hard into the corner. 

AK lariats her out of the corner. AK butt drops her out of the corner then corner splashes her. AK corner hip attacks her then corner cannonballs her. Dia stunners her off the casadora and AK basement dropkicks her for 2. AK enzugiri's her for 2. 

AK takes a stun gun and Dia hits a cross rhodes. Dia then pins her.

Thoughts: Dia won as expected. It wasn't anything too special and I thought it was just average.

Dia pounds on her after then does a heel hook. Queen Aminata comes out to scare Dia away. Queen then does Dia's gunshot taunt at her.

Caprice Coleman interviews Shane Taylor. Shane says Caprice said he told Lee Moriarty that what they do is gangsta activity. Shane says he knows better than to say that and says it's just good business. Caprice says Shane does what he say he will do. Shane says he laid out Jon Moxley 3x. He says they walk into The Death Riders house, punch them in the mouth and walk out. 

Caprice says it feels like they run ROH and Shane says of course. 

Shane says he enjoys finding the diamonds in the rough. He says everyone who comes to him becomes a superstar or champ. He says he looks for heart and conviction.  

AR Fox vs. Soleil

They shake hands. Sol side headlocks him. Sol backrolls out. Sol superkicks him outside. AR handstands out of a cutter and they kip up together. Sol meteora's him. Sol spin kicks him in the gut. AR rolls into a neckbreaker. AR handstand sentons him for 2. AR flying corner lariats him then hit elbows on him. AR skins the cat into a basement dropkick on him. 

AR pump kicks him out. AR hits elbows on him against the rails. AR side headlocks him. Sol spin kicks him in the gut. They high kick each other at the same time and crossbody each other at the same time. Sol walks on him and mule kicks him. Sol top rope crossbodies him for 2.

AR headflips into a back elbow then rolls him into a cutter. AR does some kind of fisherman buster for 2. Sol corner facekicks him and AR pump kicks him. Sol flips out of a lariat and cutters him for 2. They fight on the buckles. AR kips down out of a lariat and cutters him. Sol cartwheels into a cutter on him.

AR seated spanish flies him. AR top rope 450's him and pins him.

Thoughts: I didn't like it. Everything had to have a flip of some sorth connected to it and it just got too silly. 

Athena does a promo. She says it's hard being her. She says Hazuki cost her money and will bet on her at Death Before Dishonor. She shows a quarter and says she will bet this on her. She says the odds are so against her that even if she wins, she will be a millionaire. She says she will learn that no one can live up to her reign because she's the forever ROH champ. She says Hazuki and her supporters will have to get over it.

Pure Rules Match - Rachael Ellering vs. Steph De Lander

Steph kicks away a handshake. RE wristlocks her, Steph grabs the ropes and burns a ropebreak. Steph side headlocks her. RE shoulderblocks her a few times and knocks her over. RE basement dropkicks her for 1. RE grabs her leg, Steph grabs the ropes and burns a ropebreak. Steph then punches her and gets a warning.

Steph side slams her. Steph corner splashes her twice then running chest kicks her. RE back elbows her and boots her out of the corner. RE running euros her and sentons her for 2. RE dragon sleepers her and Steph uses her last ropebreak. They chop each other and Re hits something like a cross-legged brainbuster for 2.

Steph puts the ref in her way then punches RE. Steph hits doi fives and pins her.

Thoughts: It wasn't that good. It was mostly just Steph bending the rules and doing anything but pure wrestling. 

Juice Robinson does a promo. He says he's coming to ROH and challenges Anthony Henry. He says let's see how he can work, horseman. He says let's get down and dirty and see who can pin the other's shoulders. He says he's coming to ROH and Henry better get ready to wrestle.

Trish Adora vs. Angelica Risk

They shake hands and TA puts her hand on her head. AR bites her fingers. TA corner splashes her and chops her. AR goes up and over and dropkicks her. AR's 2nd rope crossbody is caught and TA backbreakers her. TA northern lights suplexes her for 2. TA stomps on AR's arms and kicks her in the back. TA gets a 2 count on her.

TA forearms her down. TA hits corner hip attacks. AR boots her out of the corner and back elbows her. AR flying headscissors spikes her. AR 619's her. AR 2nd rope swinging flatliners her for 2. TA rolls her up for 2 and AR rolls her up for 2. TA kneeling germans her for 2.

AR rolls her up for 2 and TA pump kicks her. TA lariats her for the pin.

Thoughts: Risk's swinging flatliner off the 2nd rope looked good. It wasn't that bad but the winner was never in doubt and it was just a question of how long it would take. 

Steph De Lander does a promo. She says she's the best pure wrestler in ROH and says Deonna Purrazzo knows that. She says she deserves a shot at the Pure Title. She says she's been sitting pretty at the top for too long as ROH is SDL.

Vertvixen vs. Julissa Mexa

Vert kicks away a handshake. Mexa trips her and spanks her. Mexa rolls her around the ring and pulls on her legs. Vert boots her in the gut. Mexa cartwheels and dances. Mexa gutwrench suplexes her. Vert facekicks her twice and spinning forearms her. Vert half crabs her.

Vert exploders her. Vert sliding kicks her in the corner for 2. Vert snapmares her and basement dropkicks her. Mexa flying corner lariats her then top rope dropkicks her. Mexa tope con hilos her through the ropes. 

Mexa backhands her and Vert casadora blue thunders her. Vert misses a corner spear and goes into the post. Vert headbutts her down. Vert lariats her on the buckles. Mexa 2nd rope cradle shocks her and pins her.

Thoughts: Mexa tried and her tope con hilo through the ropes was nice. Vert was the better wrestler and probably should have won. This needed a bit more time and clearer faces and heels. It was average.

Nigel McGuinness does a promo. He says life is about timing. He says he will take his shot at Death Before Dishonor. He says he faces Lee Moriarty twice and lost. He says if he can't beat Lee after 3 attempts, he shouldn't challenge him again. Nigel says he won't wrestle in ROH again if he can't beat him for the title.

Thoughts: I really don't know why they keep going back to this match. Nigel's not around full-time and he never does anything to deserve the shot, but still keeps getting it anyway.

Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) & The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) vs. Bustah And The Brain (Alec Price & Jordan Oliver) & The Von Erichs (Marshall von Erich & Ross von Erich)

Matt has his phone and wants to use AI. Drake comes in and hits shots on AP. Drake wristlocks him, AP uses the ropes to flip out and armdrags him. AP 2nd rope twisting crossbodies him. Drake spinning heel kicks AP. 

Zack takes a double boot and a double back elbow. Zack then takes a double legdrop. Matt lariats JO down. Matt goes up and over then dropkicks him. Marsh comes in and back body drops Matt. Marsh slams him and Mike. Ross and Marsh hit stereo slams and dropkicks. 

Ross armdrags Drake into an armlock. Ross is thrown out then Ross takes backbreaker + slingshot flying knee outside. Ross' chest is banged off the apron. Matt foot chokes Ross then suplexes him for 2. Mike slams and elbow drops Ross for 2. 

Zack euros Ross in the back of the neck. Ross 2nd rope double dropkicks The Vets. The Kingdom and AP/JO fight. AP and JO hits stereo flying lariats. Drake takes a knee to the face then AP suicide dives outside. Matt takes an electric chair M. Bison stomp for 2. JO flying ddt's Mike. AP 2nd rope double codebreakers the heels. We get some fast action and Mike death valley drivers JO. Matt running knees JO. Matt superkicks AP. AP does a cool dropkick into a crossbody on Matt.

Marsh comes in and hits lariats on Zack. Marsh hits mounted corner punches. The Von Erich's hit corner attacks on The Vets. The Von Erich's then put stereo claws on. JO is sent into the post. Mike comes in and punches The Von Erich's in the crotch. Zack rolls up Marsh and pins him.

Thoughts: The Kingdom's new AI gimmick is dumb. It's just them carrying around phones and talking about AI for the most part. The action was fine though and Alec had some impressive spots. It was alright. 

Sara Leon vs. Zayda Steel

Sara rolls up Zay for 2. Zay side headlocks her and wristlocks her. Sara rolls out. Sara top wristlock takedowns her. Zay bangs Sara's arm off her shoulder and Saya armdrags her. Zay keeps the hold on. Sara armdrags her. Zay sanpmares her and bodyscissors her for 2.

Zay flying headscissors Sara then corner crossbodies her. Sara hits armdrags and kicks. Sara flying PK's her. Zay sweeps Sara on the apron. Sara running forearms her and Zay dropkicks her in the knee. Zay bangs Sara's knee off the mat.

Sara cradles her for 2. Zay scorpion kicks her and hits lariats. Zay codebreakers Sara over the 2nd rope for 2. Sara hits a chaos theory german. Sara goes for a german but Zay blocks it by landing on her. Zay reverse figure fours her and submits her.

Thoughts: I wouldn't say it was great but they did keep it moving, it was competitive and Sara didn't have a bad showing. I'd say this was acceptable, but boy was this random. 

Deonna Purrazzo is interviewed. She says she's months into her open challenge and hasn't backed down. She says she didn't see any evidence of Steph De Lander being the greatest pure rules wrestler in her match. She accepts her challenge. She says when you face her, the outcome is always the same as you become fluent in Purrazzo.

Juice Robinson vs Anthony Henry

JR offers a handshake and Henry pretends to pee on him like a dog. Henry wristlocks him and JR reverses it. Henry armdrags him and taunts him with gun poses. JR tries to roll out of a wristlock. JR chops him down and forearms him. JR spinning backdrops him and crawls into a headbutt on him. JR then pretends to pee on him. JR corner cannonballs him. 

JR headbutts him. Henry dragon screws him then dragon screws him around the ropes. Henry twists JR's neck with his feet. JR headbutts him and atomic drops him. JR russian legsweeps him. AR gets his knees up on JR's senton. Henry crosses JR's legs and dragon screws them. JR spinebusters him. 

JR shoulders him over and back elbows him down. JR sentons him for 2. Henry PK's him and knee drops him. Henry figure fours him. They slap each other and hit each other while the figure four is on. JR hits punches and Henry step up enzugiri's him. JR ddt's him and pins him.

Thoughts: Henry worked the legs here and eventually JR picked up the win. It wasn't super exciting or anything and was just average. 

Overall thoughts: It was the usual episode of ROH. Almost everything was random. People who haven't been on this show for weeks and months returned while people who should have been on the show weren't anywhere to be found. We only had one champ in action and only had one title match, despite ROH having 8 titles. This one also went over 2 hours and dragged because of it. Lee Mortiarty vs Angelico was easily the match of the night here. I wouldn't recommend this one. It was average overall and I'd give it a 5 out of 10.
