LM52 Lucha Libre Mexicana on Discovery Espanol 8/23/2026

Leobardo Magadan and Alberto Zamudio are our hosts.

Jake Omen and Heidi Karroui talk in the back. They say LM52 can't make a joke of them and they are doing this. They head out for the match and Dr. Wagner Jr. comes out with them. They are confused. Wagner talks on the mic. Los Shotas come down from the ring and try to be friendly with Wagner. Wagner talks about a lumberjack match. Las Shotas seem to agree and Heidi doesn't. Wagner talks to Jake in English about it. Jake says it's an American style match for international stars. Jake says they can humiliate all of Mexico in a lumberjack match. Mama tells Jake that he better shut his mouth. Wagner talks more and it seems like the lumberjack match is set.

Alisha, Mirvan and Sagittarius vs Diosa Quetzal, Lolita and Estrellita

Alisha is in the red, Sag is in the black.

All 6 fight. Sag's team takes armdrags. Mir hits a dropkick and Alisha misses one. Alisha then kicks DQ over. Lolita tries a headscissors but takes a twisting drop down from Sag. Mir top rope splashes DQ for 2.

Estrel takes hair snapmares and is stomped on by her opponents. Lolita takes a triple boot. Lolita double flying clotheslines her opponents. DQ top rope crossbodies Ali and Mir. DQ springboard diving armdrags Ali then tiger feint armdrags Mir. DQ flying headcissors Mir. 

Sag armdrags and dropkicks DQ. Lolita flips off the bottom rope and armdrags Sag off of it. Lolita springboard diving armdrags Sag then dropkicks her. Ali trips Lolita is armdragged. Ali flying headscissors her. 

Estrellita comes in and dances. She armdrags Ali out. Mi flying headscissors Estrellita out. Mir codebreakers Estrellita. Mir is sat on the 2nd rope and headbustered down by Lolita for 1. 

Sag spears Lolita for 1. Sag is tripped by DQ then takes a meteora from behind on the ropes. Ali double underhook drops DQ. Estrellita flying dropkicks Ali and basement dropkicks her against the bottom rope. Estrellita is pulled out. Lolita dropkicks Estrellita on accident. Estrellita 2nd rope twisting crossbodies Sag then dropkicks DQ on accident when Sag moves.

Lolita powerbombs Sag and Estrellita backslides Mir with a bridge. Estrellita and Sag pick up pins.

Thoughts: It had a rough start but was actually an okay bout after. They kept up a nice pace, everyone did a lot of flying and it worked out way better than I expected.

Estrellita and Lolita get stomped by the other girls and 2 more girls who run in. They then get their faces pulled on while on the ropes. Diosa then leaves instead of posing with the other girls.

Sagittarius talks to the other girls in the back who helped beat up Estrellita and Lolita with her. Diosa has some words for Sag and walks off. 

Diosa is then interviewed.

Lolita and Estrellita are then interviewed. 

Lumberjack Match - Las Shotas (Mamba and Diva Salvaje) vs Jake Omen and Heidi Karroui 

DS and HK start us off. HK waistlocks him and DS bends over to mess with him. DS takes HK down and they roll on the mat. HK is on top on the mat and DS messes with him. DS touches HK's body. DS armdrags HK.

HK snapmares him out of the ring. The lumberjacks don't want to hit DS. DS backrolls HK. HK trips him and they stand off. Mamba and Jake get in. Mamba struts and dances. Mamba armdrags Jake. Jake knees him in the gut. Jake goes for a pumphandle and Mamba bends over in front of him. Mamba is sent out and the lumberjacks whip him with belts.

Mamba is stomped on by Jake and HK. DS and HK fight. DS bends over and makes HK run into him. HK is pulled over. Jake stomps the lumberjacks from hitting HK. HK running knees DS in the face then hits him in the face with his crotch. 

HK is pushed into Jake. DS takes a jawbreaker and facekick. DS is booted out and the lumberjacks nail DS. They chase DS into the stands and hit him. DS then grabs one of the belts and hits them back.

DS gets on the apron and gets hit by both opponents. Mamba slaps his opponents then slaps the ref too for some reason. Mamba and DS hit stereo armdrags. Jake is sent out with HK and they both get whipped by the lumberjacks. Mamba and DS do stereo hip attacks in the corners.

The ref yells at Mamba's team. They grab him and they both kiss him. The ref exits the ring then is whipped by the lumberjacks. Mamba's team kisses Jake and HK and do stereo roll up's. Mamba's team pick up stereo pins and win.

Thoughts: I didn't like it. If you've seen one Mamba match, you've seen them all. It's all exotico stuff and it gets old fast. This wasn't that serious and having Jake's team lose to them was questionable.

Overall thoughts: There were only 2 matches here. The women's match was borderline good and they did a lot better than I expected. The other match was all exotico stuff and it wasn't that interesting. I wouldn't recommend this one. If you don't speak Spanish, you will be out of the loop for half the show and the wrestling wasn't that good. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 total and thought it was the usual so-so to average LM52 show.
