5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Blue Stars Block B Match - Hanan vs. Saya Kamitani
Saya poses on the ropes and Han forearms her down before the bell. Han throws her out and apron crossbodies her. They forearm each other outside. Saya northern lights suplexes her on the floor. Han is thrown into the seats several times.
Saya stomps Han in the ring. Saya chinlocks her and Han ropebreaks. Han is tied up in the ropes and Saya puts her foot in her face. Saya axe kicks her over the 2nd rope. Saya chest forearms her down. Han hip throws her. Han running euros her for 2. Han flying leg lariat her. Han runs at her and is double stomped down.
Han back drops Saya over the top to the apron. Han heatseeker piledrivers her over the 2nd rope. Han then deadfall ddt's her for 2. Han is up top and gets hit. Saya hurricanrana's her down. Saya running facekicks her. Saya northern lights suplexes her and headflips into another on her.
Han backdrops Saya twice for 2. Saya spinning high kicks her. Han la magistral's her for 2. Saya rolls her into a blue thunder for 2. Saya ki krushers her. Han no sells it, rolls her up and pins her.
Thoughts: I don't know who started the "take a big move, no sell it and roll your opponent up into a pin" spot, but I hate that spot. Saya's finisher is supposed to put people out. It's not supposed to be ignored. Saya has now taken 2 losses in 2 days here which is a bit unusual. As usual, Hanan didn't sell all that much here. It was all high speed action. It was competitive and they did establish that Han could maybe win this. It had some good and bad parts to it.
Saya beats up the ref after.
5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block A Match - Maika vs. Akira Kurogane
Akira dropkicks Maika before the bell. She running back elbows her and low dropkicks her. Maika shoulders her over then takes chest forearms. Akira dropkicks her against the ropes. Akira dropkicks her through the ropes. Maika shoulder throws her and Akira low dropkicks her in the back of the neck.
Akira hits chest forearms then russian legsweeps her. Akira crossfaces her. Maika powerslams Akira for 2. Maika sleepers her. Maika sliding lariats her for 2. Akira hits chest forearms then enzugiri's her. Maika suplexes her and Akira underhook suplexes her. Akira running knees her then knees her in the face hard.
Maika running lariats her and spinning lariats her for 2. Maika michinoku drivers her and pins her.
Thoughts: Akira acted as the underdog here and did a good job with it. She showed some spirit and hit some hard shots before being put down. This had rookie vs vet vibes to it and it worked. This was an okay bout.
5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Blue Stars Block A Match - Suzu Suzuki vs. Julia Hart
Suzu shoulders her over off a side headlock. Hart kips up then running back elbows her. Suzu tries to kip up and doesn't fall down at least. They trade chest forearms. Suzu running back elbows her and running knees her in the corner.
Hart STO's her, traps her arms and does a collar hold on her. Hart throws her down backwards. Hart misses a top rope moonsault. Suzu alley oops her into the buckles and germans her. Hart superkicks her and is lariated down. Suzu running knees her in the gut and Hart lariats her on the ropes.
Hart knees her in the face. Suzu hits a tequila shot for 2. Suzu headbutts her and buzzsaw kicks her for 2. Suzu germans her and pins her.
Thoughts: It was a shorter bout. Hart was just along for the ride here and didn't get much in but her basic offense. I think Suzu got her good with a headbutt as Hart put an ice bag on her head after.
5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Blue Stars Block A Match - Ruaka vs. HANAKO
They lock up. Ruaka boots her and Hana shoulders her over. Hana is pulled over the top rope. Hana is sent into the seats. Ruaka boots her in the head and splashes her. Ruaka corner lariats her for 1. Hana hits chest forearms. Hana samoan drops her then running facekicks her for 2.
Ruaka punches her and Hana splashes her on the ropes. Ruaka lariats her on the ropes then crossbodies her against the bottom rope for 2. Ruaka hits forearms and Hana head and arm chokes her. Ruaka crossfaces her. Hana lariats her down on the apron.
Hana is swept on the apron then Ruaka sentons her back there. They lariat each other outside. Ruaka eye rakes her. Hana slams her on the floor. In the ring, Hana running facekicks her. Hana short arm lariats her then Ruaka lariats her down. Hana running facekicks her. Ruaka fisherman suplexes her.
They trade forearms. Ruaka hits a forearm flurry. They trade facekicks for forearms. Ruaka hits her with a box then superkicks her for 2. Ruaka 2nd rope splashes her. Ruaka germans her. Hana head and arm chokes her. Hana running lariats her for 2. Hana hits her in the corner and doi fives her. The time limit then runs out.
Thoughts: I liked this and thought it was an okay bout here. It was two big girls hitting each other and Ruaka limited some of the heel tactics. We got to see a lot more out of Ruaka than usual and I thought she did a good job with it. This went 15 minutes and I'd have been fine with this going another 5 or so.
5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block B Match - Utami Hayashishita vs. Mei Seira
Utami blocks an irish whip and shoulders Mei over. Mei dropkicks Utami and Utami dropkicks her back. Utami running back elbows her and shoulders her over for 2. Utami slams Mei twice. Mei hits chest forearms and Utami forearms her down. Mei gets on the 2nd rope and is lariated down. They get on the apron and trade forearms. Utami throws her off the apron then dropkicks her off the apron.
Mei then dropkicks her off the apron. Mei springboard dropkicks her for 2. Utami boots her then suplexes her. Mei dropkicks her. They trade forearms. Utami running back elbows her then samoan drops her. Utami headhunters her for 2. Utami sleepers her.
Mei corner lariats her. Mei top rope diving codebreakers Utami. Utami sleepers her then swings her down. Utami sliding lariats her for 2. Utami back elbows her and forearms her. Mei germans her. Mei jumps at her and takes a wheelbarrow german. Mei rolls her up for 2. Utami air raid crashes her. Mei no sells it and rolls her up for 2. Utami germans her and pins her.
Thoughts: It was alright. They hit each other hard and both took some hard bumps her. Mei flew around a bit more while Utami did her power stuff. It worked out pretty well.
5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Blue Stars Block B Match - Starlight Kid vs. Ami Sourei
Ami shoulders Kid over then slams her a few times. Ami corner lariats her. Ami hits a chop flurry. Ami chops her down. Kid chops her back and Ami double chops her down. Kid flying headscissors her then dropkicks her in the knee. Kid standing moonsaults her. Kid's springboard crossbody is caught and Ami racks her off of it. Ami corner splashes Kid in the reverse tree of woe position and sliding lariats her for 2.
Kid bangs Ami's leg off the 2nd rope. Ami is on the 2nd rope and Kid springboard dropkicks her. Kid 2nd rope bodyscissors rolls her. Kid then puts a stretch muffler on. Ami black hole slams her for 2. Mei blue thunders her for 2.
Kid reverse dragon screws her. Kid TTD's her then stretch mufflers her on the mat. Ami lariats her down. Ami short arm lariats her for 2. Ami blocks Kid's hurricanrana and landslides her. Ami pins her.
Thoughts: Ami mostly blocked Kid's flying here and used her power to her advantage. Kid targeted the leg as usual. I thought it was alright and the two worked together comfortably.
Hanan comes in and talks to Ami and Kid on the mic as I believe they are either tied or around the same ranking in the standings. Ami and Kid then talk. They all then pose together.
5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block B Match - Konami vs. Maki Itoh
They lock up and trade side headlocks. Kon kicks her in the back. Itoh shoulder her over and side falling headbutt drops her. Itoh is sent into the seats and her head is banged off the commentary table. Kon elbows Itoh in the arm. Kon stands on Itoh and boots her in the head.
Itoh hits chest forearms and Kon eye rakes her. Itoh ddt's her and running facekicks her through the ropes. Itoh top rope crossbodies her for 2. Itoh crabs her. Itoh hits forarms and Kon forearms back. They running back elbow each other. Itoh pendulum ddt's her. Itoh headbutts her and both go down.
Itoh running back elbows her and stunners her over the top rope. Itoh 2nd rope double stomps her for 2. Kon armbars her. Kon suplexes her. Itoh stunners her. Itoh his pushed into the ref. Kon high kicks Itoh down.
Kon tries to spray her with spray paint. Itoh sprays herself with it and throws it away. Itoh fires up and hits headbutts on Kon. Itoh M. Bison stomps her for 2. Itoh tornado ddt's her for 2. Kon germans Itoh twice for 2. Kon buzzsaw kicks her then sleepers her.
Itoh rolls her up for 2. Itoh does another roll up for 2. Kon high kicks her and sleepers her. Itoh is out and Kon wins.
Thoughts: It got a lot of time and was mostly average. Kon hit her kicks and sleepers. Itoh did some headbutts and some of her other offense. Outside of Itoh maybe going for the win, there wasn't a ton else to this one.
Kon talks on the mic after and foot chokes her. Kon spray paints her face and puts a photo in her face.
5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block A Match - AZM vs. Rina
Rina dropkicks her and Kon armbar takedowns her. AZM trips her, PK's her and basement dropkicks her. Rina then dropkicks her. Rina hair throws her. AZM cartwheels out of a hair throw. AZM trips her and high kicks her. AZM is swept on the apron and sent into the seats. Rina is then sent into the seats. AZM is sent into the post.
Rina throws her. AZM 619's under the bottom rope and headscissors her down off of it. AZM low dropkicks her. AZM goes up top and is hit. Rina forearms her down. Rina is in tree of woe and AZM top rope double stomps her. AZM top rope double stomps her again for 2.
Rina suplexes AZM and northern lights suplexes her for 2. Rina 2nd rope double knee drops her. Rina hip throws her. AZM hits chest forearms. AZM high kicks her and Rina does an octopus to her. Rina cranks AZM's arm back.
Rina reverse suplexes her for 2. Rina top rope double knee drops her. AZM code red's her and rolls her up for 2. AZM canadian destroyers her for 2. AZM pulls Rina's arm back then hooks her head. Rina gori bombs her twice. Rina facekicks her. Rina top rope dropkicks her. AZM back body drops her and high kicks her. Rina package pildrivers her and pins her.
Thoughts: These two aren't that different from each other. Rina didn't do as much heeling as usual here. The selling was questionable at times. I think AZM got a little more out of Rina than others but Rina has limits and her matches her only so good because of it. I thought this was average.
Rina gets on the mic after and AZM leaves.
Overall thoughts: The opener had good and bad parts. Maika/Akira was fine. Suzu/Hart was short. I liked Ruaka/Hanako. Utami/Mei was alright as was Kid/Ami. I didn't really care for the semi-main and I thought AZM/Rin was average. I thought the show was average overall and I'd give it a 5 out of 10.
