5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Blue Stars Block A Match - Aya Sakura vs. Rian

Aya kicks her as they go to lock up. Ri stomps her foot. They trade waistlocks. Ri stomps the foot and reverses the hold. Aya hits kicks on her leg and side headlocks her. Aya side headlock takeovers her and Ri headscissors her to escape.

Ri stomps the foot more. Ri springboard diving armdrags her then basement dropkicks her. Ri walks up the buckles and is kicked off the top to the apron. Aya slams her for 2. Aya hair throws her twice and foot chokes her.

They trade chest forearms. aya is tripped into the ropes and takes a basement dropkick there. Ri stomps Aya's foot. Ri walks up the buckles and stomps her foot. Ri dropkicks her through the ropes and crossbodies her. Aya triangles her and Ri ropebreaks.

Aya hits chest kicks. Ri stomps her foot and Aya high kicks her. Ri headscissors her out of the corner and basement dropkicks her.  Ri 2nd rope crossbodies her for 2. Aya triangles her. Aya northern lights suplexes her for 2. 

Aya step up knees her in the corner. Aya top rope flying knees her for 2. Ri sleepers her on the mat. Ri top rope crossbodies her for 2. Ri cutters her and is german'd. Ri fisherman suplexes her for 2. Aya spin kicks her in the head and high kicks her. Ri stunners her for 2. Ri 2nd rope diving cutters her. Ri sits on her back and rolls her up. Ri then bridge pins her.

Thoughts: It was nice to see Ri get a whip, but not against Aya. It was probably the longest singles match Ri has ever been involved in. She did alright and is definitely starting to become a smaller wrestler who tries to bend the roles to win. Aya did mostly strikes here as usual. I thought this was alright and if nothing else, it was something different. This got a lot of time.

Ri touches Aya's title after and seems to want a title shot. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Blue Stars Block B Match - Starlight Kid vs. Kikyo Furusawa

KF dropkicks Kid in the knee before intros are done. KF stomps her knee. KF cartwheel headscissors her. Kid rolls her and twists her leg with her feet. Kid stomps KF's leg. Kid standing moonsaults KF's leg. Kid bangs KF's knee off the mat. 

Kid tries pins on KF. Kid slaps her and kicks her in the leg. KF dropkicks her. KF goes for the ankle lock and is booted away. KF dropkicks Kid's leg into the bottom rope. KF chest forearms her and Kid chest forearm her back. They trade forearms for a while. Kid dropkicks her in the knee and then grounded stress mufflers her. KF ropebreaks.

KF trips her and ankle locks her. KF drives Kid's knee into the mat then ankle locks her. Kid reverse dragon screws her then grounded stretch mufflers her. Kid hooks her head with her leg and KF taps out.

Thoughts: It was fine. It was leg work vs leg work with some forearms thrown in. It made sense and KF lost as expected. These two really aren't that different from each other except KF is a lot less athletic.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Blue Stars Block B Match - Hanan vs. Yuna Mizumori

Yuna misses a dropkick and flying shoulders her over. Han hip throws her. Yuna misses a splash and Han flying euros her. Han leg lariats her on the 2nd rope and basement dropkicks her from behind for 2. Han boots her in the gut and Yuna springboard dropkicks her. Yuna legdrops her for 2. They forearm each other.

Han drops her with a forearm. Han blocks a pin attempt and goes for a grounded cobra clutch. Yuna ropebreaks. Han heatseeker piledrivers her and blade runners her for 2. Yuna overhead kicks her and Han cuty specials her for 2. They both go for pins. Yuna jumps on her, trapping her legs and she pins Hanan.

Thoughts: It was a quick one but it was full of action and both were trying to win. I was fine with this one. It was a sprint.

They shake hands after.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Blue Stars Block A Match - Ruaka vs. Suzu Suzuki

Suzu is hit as she poses on the ropes. Ruaka throws her into the seats. Ruaka gets thrown into the seats. Ruaka slaps her around in the ring. Ruaka eye rakes her then crossbodies her for 2. Ruaka crossbodies her against the bottom rope. They trade forearms and Ruaka gets dropped. Ruaka fires back and Suzu poses at her. Ruaka tries to distract her and goes for a punch but Suzu looks away at where she pointed. Suzu running back elobws her in the corner and corner running knees her for 2. 

Suzu tries a driveby kick on the apron but gets lariated. Suzu throws Ruaka into the seats. Suzu is then thrown into the seats. Suzu throws a water bottle at her. They lariat each other outside and Ruaka goes down. Ruaka lariats her down and they both beat the count in.

Ruaka forearms her inside. Suzu headbutts her and Ruaka slides out. Ruaka is sent into the post. Suzu's head is banged off the apron. Ruaka hits mounted forearms on Suzu. They fight to the back. They prevent each other from going back in the ring before the count is up and both get counted out.

Thoughts: I liked what we got here. It was almost all brawling. They were able to work together well. Ruaka tried a little harder than usual and Suzu brought her usual spirit to this one. It was a fun match.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block B Match - Mei Seira vs. Saya Iida

Mei runs at her and they trade chest forearms. Saya blocks an armdrag and hits her own. Saya shoulders her over. Saya elbow drops her. Mei tries to make friends with her and Saya chops her down. Saya hits another chop. Saya lets Mei chop her but it's a weak chop.

Saya hits a chop flurry. Mei springboard dropkicks her for 2. Mei sleepers her and Saya ropebreaks. Saya sliding lariats her off the apron. Mei ducks a chop outside. Mei the makes Saya chase her around the ring. Mei trips her and low running headhunters her for 2. Mei ties her legs up and facelocks her. 

Mei lariats her on the ropes and gets lariated on the ropes. Saya suplexes her then Mei suplexes her back. Mei codebreakers her and Saya low diving lariats her. They trade chest forearms. Saya top rope diving shoulderblocks her. 

Saya corner lariats her. They trade pin attempts. Mei dropkicks her. Saya lariats her for 1. Saya hits a big lariat and drops Saya on her neck for 1. Mei release germans her then backflip crucifix drrivers her. Mei pins her.

Thoughts: It was a high speed match here with a lot of action. It was entertaining and didn't have many dull moments. I liked it and thought it was an okay bout. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Blue Stars Block B Match - Koguma vs. Momo Watanabe

Kog ducks a lock up and wants to do her taunt. Momo won't go it with her and eye rakes her. Kog dropkicks her in the knee, sits on her back and does her taunt there. Momo flying kicks her out of the corner then stomps on her. Momo then mocks Kog's taunt while she's on top of her on the ropes. Momo steps on Kog's head and kicks her in the back.

They trade shots. Momo eye rakes her and stomps on her. Kog ddt's her. Momo pulls her out and bangs her fae off the apron. Kog trips her on the apron then stomps on her back. Momo pulls Kog down face first on the apron. Momo is sent into the seats.

Kog plancha's Momo off the apron. Kog sleepers heri n the ring. Momo then chickenwing's her. They trade forearms. They running back elbow each other on the ropes and Kog running cutters her. Momo counters a sunset flip with a b-driver. Kog swinging and grounded tazzmissions her. Kog northern lights suplexes her for 2.

They fight on the buckles. Kog 2nd rope cutters her. Kog code red's her for 2. Momo high kicks the ref when Kog moves. Momo hits Kog with her bat. Momo buzzsaw kicks her from behind then does a normal buzzsaw kick. Momo punts her in the head for 2. Kog rolls her up for 2. Kog does another roll up and Momo reverses it for 2. Momo high kicks her. Kog germans her. Kog hits another german. 

Momo germans Kog. Kog headbutts Momo. Kog then germans her and pins her.

Thoughts: It was one of the more serious and longer matches I've ever seen Kog have. This went close to the time limit and Kog was mostly serious here. It definitely beat her usual offerings. It was definitely an above average match for Kog.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Blue Stars Block A Match - Julia Hart vs. HANAKO

Hart offers a test of strength and Hana chest forearms her down. Hana throws her off the waistlock then shoulders her over. Hana slams her twice then splashes her for 2. Hart's head is banged off the buckles. Hart tarantula's her on the ropes. Hart neckbreakers Hana over the 2nd rope and hits mounted shots on her. Hart hits corner spears then boots her in the corner. Hart foot chokes her. 

Hart pulls her arms back. Hana samoan drops her. Hana corner running shoulders her and corner facekicks her for 2. Hart hits a running corner lariat. Hart walks the top rope and Hana catches her diving headscissors. Hana crabs her. Hart ropebreaks.

Hart christo's her and Hana ropebreaks. They trade forearms. Hart codebreakers her with her feet. Hart misses a top rope moonsault. Hana lariats her and powerbombs her for 2. Hana hits doi fives on her and pins her.

Thoughts: Hart did her usual stuff but what helped this one out is that Hana stiffed her. You could really hear some of the bumps in this one and it made Hana look strong. This wasn't bad and it didn't go too long.

Hana talks on the mic after. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Blue Stars Block A Match - Hina vs. Miyu Amasaki

Hina pulls her in on the handshake and slams her. Hina hits 3 more slams. Hina flying knees her in the corner and flying neckbreakers her. Hina half crabs her. Hina uranage's her for 2. Miyu ddt's her. Miyu basement dropkicks her from behind for 2. Hina STF's her and Miyu ropebreaks.

They trade forearms. Hina hip throws her then Miyu pendulum ddt's her. Miyu does a scholar collar and Hina ropebreaks. Miyu running back elbows her. Miyu 2nd rope ddt's her. Hina exploders her for 2. Hina back body drops her. Hina spinning drops her on her chest for 2.

Hina STF's her. Miyu's tornado ddt is blocked and Hina hits a magic screw variation off of it. Hina jackhammers her for 2. Miyu gets her knees up on Hina's top rope frogsplash. Miyu tornado ddt's her. They trade suplexes and no sell them. Miyu sitout pedigrees her for 2. Hina rolls up Miyu for 2. Miyu forearms her then lifting ddt's her for 2. Miyu hits another sitout pedigree and pins her.

Thoughts: It was just people doing moves for the most part with some questionable selling at times. They didn't really botch anything, but it was just one move and then the next. There wasn't a lot of story or logic. I didn't like this that much.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Blue Stars Block B Match - Saya Kamitani vs. Ami Sourei

They lock up. Saya boots her in the gut. Saya jumps at her, gets caught and is rammed into the corner. Ami splashes her there then hits a chop flurry. Saya throws Ami into the seats and running headkicks her there. Saya throws her into the seats and chairs her again. 

Saya boots and kicks Ami inside. Saya chest forearms her then hits a forearm flurry. Ami shoulders her over for 2. Ami corner splashes her back then sliding lariats her for 2. Saya running dropkicks her. Ami suplexes her. Saya spinning heel kicks her. 

Ami black hole slams her for 2. Ami corner lariats her. They fight on the buckles. Saya top rope hurricanrana's her. saya running corner faceckicks her. Saya overhead suplexes her for 2. Saya ki krushers her for 2. Ami short arm lariats her. Ami blue thunders her for 2.

Ami landslides her for 2. Saya poisonrana's her. They trade forearms. Saya hits a forearm flurry. They forearm each other at the same time and both go down to their knees. Saya pump kicks her. Ami hits a big lariat. Ami short arm lariats her for 2. Ami forearms her. Saya goes for a hurricanrana and Ami rolls through it to pin her.

Thoughts: It was an okay bout. It was all action and they kept up a faster pace here. There were lots of kicks and forearms and Ami hit a few lariats as usual. It went as I expected. Saya did not heel it up here much.

They grab each other by the hair after. Ami talks on the mic after. 

Overall thoughts: I liked Rian/Aya and it was nice to see them get a lot of time. Kid/Kikyo was a near mirror match up and it was fine. Hanan/Yuna was a sprint. Ruaka/Suzu was all brawling and was fun. Mei/Saya was a high speed bout and I liked it. Koguma was serious for a change against Momo and it was an above average match for her. Hart/Hanako wasn't bad. I didn't like Hina/Miyu that much. The main went as expected with Ami bringing her forearms and lariats vs Saya's kicks. I liked that. I'd give it a 7 out of 10 as we had a lot of different matches here that were good and they offered some variety on this. It was a good show.
