We see clips of Orlando and Carlito sitting in chairs but then cut away.
The hosts talk.
Camila vs Sai Perez
We join this in progress. Sai corner lariats her and throws her down backwards. Sai gets a 2 count on her and stomps her. Sai clubs her. Sai curbstomps her for 2. Sai side headlocks her. Cam crossbodies her twice.
Cam corner splashes her and boots her in the corner. Cam low running back elbows her there. Sai backcrackers her. Sai then crabs her and Cam submits.
Thoughts: This is a tough one to judge since we definitely see all of it. I don't know if Sai worked Cam's back or not prior to the finish but I don't think so. Cam hit a hard low running back elbow in the corner here and put her body weight into this one. What we saw was nothing special.
Brandon The Skater and Stephany Amalbert vs El Payaso Makabro and La Amazona Guerrera
We join this in progress. Steph hip attacks Ama off the apron and clubs her outside. Brandon gets in and Ama chops him down. Brandon begs off and is hit. Brandon then boots and punches her. Ama flying headscissors him. PM tags in. He hits lariats on Brandon and Brandon begs off.
PM trips him and standing figure fours him. Brandon low blows him to break it up. Brandon running lariats PM. Brandon leg chokes PM on the ropes. Brandon hits gut punches on PM and Steph kicks PM.
We go to break and return. PM pushes Brandon away and Brandon elbow drops his back. Brandom stomps him. Steph then joins in. Brandon drops Steph on PM. Brandon bends over and PM ddt's him.
The girls tag in. Ama hits shots on Steph then corner splashes her. Ama snapmares her and basement dropkicks her for 2. All 4 people fight. Steph and Brandon are sent into each other. PM deadfall ddt's Brandon and pins him.
Thoughts: It wasn't a great night for Brandon here as he got beaten up by a girl then got pinned. Brandon got sent into Steph and knocked her over pretty good. What we saw was just average and this was definitely an intergender bout, not a mixed tag.
Tony Leyenda does a promo. He says Xavant will say that he will fight at the next show with his heart and defend his homeland. He says Bryan will act like a dog call him "quefe" (a derogatory term). He says he's seen as the hypocrite though. Tony says he's the best and they know it and he'll become champ again and they know it. He says every time WWC puts him in an uncomfortable position, he comes out with his hand raised. He says he's a once in a lifetime athlete. He says he trains hard for this and will always come out on top. He says the two pigeons he is facing are friends of the bosses. He says he's the end. We saw this already.
"La Amenaza" Bryan does a promo from a car. He says he has a triple threat match at the next show against Xavant and Leyenda. He says they have gotten themselves into a pretty big mess. He says it's been years since he had gold around his waist and it's time he has gold. He guarantees he will come out victorious and says Tony Leyenda will be the greatest pigeon of PR when he's done with him.
Xavant does a promo. He says Bryan and Tony keep talking and they are overlooking that they are facing him for the PR Title. He says they will realize how superior he is. He says Bryan talks and wiggles like a snake. He says Tony couldn't be more of a hypocrite. He says Tony talks trash about PR, then he comes and hits him and it's peaceful again. He says that's the effect the last captain has. He says when you are in PR, you have to respect the people, the territory an it's captain (him). He says he will persevere until he triumphs as that is what people do.
We see clips of the Zcion RT1 vs Lightning feud.
Zcion RT1 does a promo. He says Lightning's time has come to an end and says where better to end it than in the classroom of death. He says Lightning wants the title and has only one chance to win it. He says he has to take him out and he sees it being as being difficult. He says he has one thing in mind and that's to end his legacy. He says he and his revolutionaries are ready.
We see clips of the Chicano vs Ray Gonzalez feud.
Chicano does a promo while sitting. He says there's many thing happening in WWC. He says he got involved in Ray's matches. He says Ray is the prey right now and doesn't know it. He says he's not hiding behind his wife's illness. He says she and him are having their own battles. He says when he needed people most, Eddie Colon and others turned their backs on him.
He says Ray Gonzalez has gone low and says Ray always has to be the center of attention. He says it's because Ray doesn't have much left in his career. He complains about Ray bringing up his wife in their arguments. He then brings up Ray saying he's Carlito's and Orlando's prostitutes. He mentions Ray leaving WWC to go to IWA-PR. He says when Ray got tired of things, he then betrayed IWA-PR and came back to WWC. He says ray didn't do it for pleasure or pride but for money. He says he does it pleasure, not money.
He says Ray wants to be the center of attention. He says he doesn't know why Eddie Colon is bitter about things because he's the one who betrayed Orlando and Carlito. He says Ray needs to get ready for their match. He says a victory over Ray doesn't add or subtract from his goal. He says his goal is to get revenge and hurt Ray. He says Ray's roof is made of glass and how dare he throw stones. He says it's time for Ray to make a decision. He says there will be a new director of WWC on 8/29. He says Ray should put his brain to work and come with the winning team.
They promise a video on Eddie vs Orlando tomorrow and show us some clips of it.
Intelecto Cinco Estrellas does a promo. He says he was disappointed to hear John hawking say the WWC Caribbean Title is prestigious. He says that's arrogant and ignorant and comes from a spoiled brat. He says it's a title of great history and importance and deserves to be won by a true athlete. Intelecto says he deserves to wear it and says he will see him on 8/29.
John Hawking does a promo. He says he's facing Intelecto Cinco Estrellas or the Caribbean Title. He says Intelecto is one of the best talents in PR. He says they have faced each other before and last time, Orlando Toledo interfered. He says Intelecto is a coward. He says he was going to win the match until Toledo interfered. He says he has a second chance to prove he's better than Intelecto. He says the Caribbean Title is his and the fans' title. He tells Intelecto to get ready as he will test him.
The hosts then close the show and say tomorrow's show will be special. Abel asks about Orlando and Carlito's line about new talent coming to WWC.
Overall thoughts: It was the usual WWC show. We got 2 new matches here. We didn't see much of Sai Perez/Camila and what we did see was nothing special. Brandon The Skater really got buried in his intergender tag match and that bout was average also. We then saw a bunch of promos as usual and some that we had seen already. I'd give it a 4 out of 10 overall as that it wasn't that good. I wouldn't recommend it.
