NWA Powerrr 6/20/2026

NWA Powerrr 6/20/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/06/nwa-powerrr-6132026.html

Joe Galli, Danny Dealz and Tim Storm are on commentary. They run down tonight's show.

Kyle Davis interviews Silas Mason in the ring. Kyle asks about The Southern Six. Silas says they were supposed to be like iron and diamonds, unable to be tarnished by time. He says all things move towards their end and his patience with Kerry Morton is up. He says Kerry was looking out for him by screwing him out of the title and asks how that works. Silas asks who wants to see him whoop Kerry's @ss? Silas says he will slay Dragon Nihan tonight and put a boot up Kerry's backside.

It's Me...The Carson Drake Experience

The Slimeballz are this week's guest. They get Drake upset and Drake says they tried to set up their own podcast in his room last week. The Slimez try to explain themselves. Drake says this is his podcast and they tried to make it their own thing. Drake says they wouldn't have the title if it wasn't for him and Aron Stevens. Drake says The Slimeballz will not be on next week's Experience show or ever again.

Kerry Morton vs Vin Parker

I've seen Vin once on Reality of Wrestling. He's a decent looking guy and is in good shape.

KM waistlocks him and Vin reverses it. They mat wrestle and Vin wristlocks him. KM trips him and twists his foot. Vin side headlocks him then shoulders him over. Vin armdrags him into an armlock.

KM slaps him and Vin step up enzugiri's him. KM pulls Vin's arm down over the top rope. KM stomps the arm and pulls on it. KM knee drops the arm for 2. KM knees him in the back. KM slingshot suplexes him. Vin rolls him up for 2.

KM powerslams him for 2. KM chops him in the corner. KM misses a corner charge and Vin headhunters him while he's seated. Vin holds on for a falcon arrow. KM pumping knees Vin and pins him.

Thoughts: Kerry mostly worked the arm here then won with a pumping knee. It was average to acceptable. I'm not saying Vin is the next big thing, but he's young, he looks decent and he can have a perfectly acceptable and safe match. I think he's going to be making his way around various promotions and will likely get signed somewhere.

We see clips from the NWA Training Seminar. Tiffany Nieves says they need a good opponent for Gretta and Ms. Starr says she will scout the world for suitable competition.

Brandon McCord's crew talks. Brandon says they all had difficulties and says Bonez showed that resiliency is the currency that will build an empire. He says Alex Misery is the first NWA Television champ from Puerto Rico. He says he believes in them and says each day can be better than the previous one. He says they can win gold if they just believe.

NWA Women's Television Title - Tiffany Nieves (c) vs Gina Sais Quoi

Gina does a voodoo gimmick, has tattoos and wears white skull facepaint. We'll see how she is in the ring, but she has good look.

Gina crawls up to Tiff and Tiff slaps her. Tiff boots her in the gut and misses a corner charge. Gina slaps her with her hair and boots her. Tiff spinning side slams her. Tiff armlocks her and does another spinning side slam.

Tiff does a texas cloverleaf and submits Gina.

Thoughts: It was a quick one. Gina didn't get a lot in but didn't botch anything either. There's not a whole lot to say about this.

Aron Stevens talks to Slade in the back. Wrecking Ball Legursky comes in and asks if Aron has a minute. Aron's brush is knocked over and he says he doesn't have.

Slade's Submission Challenge Qualifier - Terry Yaki vs Hayden Backlund vs Jay Lucas

The winner moves on to a submission match with Slade.

HB takes a double basement dropkick. Terry hits Jay in the gut then backrolls into a headscissors on him. Jay dropkicks him then HB superkicks Jay. HB stomps on Terry and suplexes him. HB elbow drops Terry for 2.

HB suplexes Terry and clubs his back. Jay top rope crossbodies HB then drops him with shots. Jay slingblades HB. HB cutters Jay for 2 after an eye poke. Terry top rope dropkicks HB.

Jay is pulled over the top. Terry asai moonsaults both opponents outside. Terry hits something like a cradle shock on HB and pins him.

Thoughts
: I was surprised to see Terry win here since HB is the only one signed. What we got was fine but it wasn't long and we didn't get to see too much. HB got double teamed here as Jay and Terry are partners.

Kyle Davis asks Terry how he feels. He says he feels great and says he feels like the future of this business. Kyle says we will find out after this break.

NWA Jr. Heavyweight Title - Submission Challenge - SLADE (c) vs Terry Yaki

Terry rolls him up for 2. Terry rolls him up for 2 then cradles him for 2. Terry's os cutter is blocked and he takes a dragon suplex. Slade stomps Terry's face. Slade release germans him for 2. Slade lion tamer's him. Terry boots him away. Slade germans him on his head and feet.

Terry springboard dropkicks Slade. Slade hits a hard lariat then an air raid crash. Aron Steven's says it's time. Slade ankle locks Terry and submits him.

Thoughts: Terry was the underdog here. He got some offense in before being put down. Terry took a hard lariat and it looked like he bounced off his head on a german. They did what they were supposed to but it was short and basically a squash. The question here of course is if Terry will be used again or not.

Kyle Davis interviews Slade and Aron Stevens. Aron says we are looking at the present and future of wrestling. Aron says he only deals with champs and says Slade is a champ. Wrecking Ball Legursky comes out.

Ball says the people don't like Aron. Ball says the people love The Wrecking Ball. Ball says he loves the people. Ball says he has an idea. He says the Federation of Champions needs a little USA. Ball offers a handshake and seems to want to join. Aron says "no" and leaves.

We go to the NWA Training Seminar. The Cazana's and Drake talk. Joe tells everyone to suck up to him. Joe says he's been here for 3 years and Corgan has done nothing but stab him in the back the whole time. Joe says he is the NWA and has been in it since he was born. He says Corgan comes in and thinks he's the god of everything. Billy Corgan walks in.

Joe says Corgan thinks he can do no wrong. Joe says he respects him more and more every time he is around him once he spots him. He says Corgan is a saint and a pillar of the Chicago community. Corgan offers a handshake and pulls away. Joe says that's what he's talking about with Corgan.

We see clips of Carnage beating Mims 2 weeks ago.

We see Pope talk to Mims with 2 guys in masks behind him. Pope says Mims should have won but he didn't listen to him. Pope says he won't lead him wrong and says he sees things even clearer than before since walking with the light. Mims says he trusts him and got him a gift as a peace offering. It looks like a bracelet.

NWA World Title - Silas Mason (c) vs El Dragon Nihan

They lock up and let go. Nihan shoves him. They test strength and Nihan backdrops him off the side headlock. Nihan side headlocks him. They criss-cross and SM dropkicks him. SM flying headscissors him then corner splashes him. SM hits short arm lariats. SM gets on his back with a sleeper.

SM sleepers him. Nihan knees him in the gut and punches him in the corner. Nihan slams him. They headbutt each other and SM goes down. Nihan chops him and is superkicked in the gut. Nihan superkicks him out of the corner. Nihan powerbombs him for 2. Nihan jumps at him and SM thrill rides him. SM pins him.

Thoughts: Unfortunately, it didn't get a ton of time. Most matches don't in the NWA and it's particularly a problem when it's the main event getting its time cut short. What we got was acceptable tough. Silas won and Nihan did look competitive against him.

Overall thoughts: It was the usual NWA Powerrr show. Nothing got a ton of time which limited some of the quality. Everything was average to acceptable here and 3 of the 5 matches were random. There was nothing that great on this one and I wouldn't recommend it. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 as it was average.
