Excalibur, Tazz and Tony Schiavone are on commentary.

Rush is interviewed to start the show (it's a taped interview). He says he's been beating everyone for 3 years and waiting for a shot at the AEW Title. He says its for his people, family and pride. He then goes to do his horns line. MJF comes in and slaps him. He says if Rush is the bull, he's the matador. Rush takes him down and security breaks it up.

Rush is then interviewed again. Andrade El Idolo interrupts and talks in Spanish. He tells him to do it for his family and for anyone who says they can't be world champs.

AEW World Title - No Countouts - MJF (c) vs Rush

MJF wore a matador outfit out.

They trade shots. MJF spits in his face and gets it in his hair. MJF eye pokes him. Rush overhead belly to belly suplexes him. Rush tope con hilos him. Rush headbutts him and throws him into the rails. Rush chokes him with a cable.

MJF trips Rush into an open chair outside. Rush is put in the chair then MJF running facekicks him there. MJF is back body dropped over the rail onto the timekeeper's table. Rush takes a turnbuckle pad off. Rush boots him in the jaw and stomps him in the corner. Rush hits forearms. 

Rush goes to send him into the exposed buckle. The ref gets in the way then MJF sends Rush into it. Rush is busted open and MJF chinlocks him. 

MJF spinebusters him and hits mounted shots. MJF is then tripped into the exposed buckle. Rush hits running corner attacks. Rush basement dropkicks him for 2. Rush dropkicks him off the buckles for 2. MJF jack knifes him for 2. MJF back elbows him then 2nd rope double stomps Rush's arm. 

MJF powerbomb backbreakers Rush for 2. MJF armbars him. MJF bangs Rush's arm over the top rope. Rush headbutts him from the apron. Rush straightjacket piledrivers him on the apron.

We go to PiP break and return. Rush headbutts a medical staff member (supposedly they ruled during the break and him and MJF can't continue and that Rush has a dislocated shoulder). Rush corner dropkicks MJF.

Rush tries to dropkick him through the rail but just gets the rail. MJF tombstones him on the rail outside. Rush misses a top rope dropkick inside. MJF does a crossface with a hammerlock. Rush gives him the finger and sticks his tongue out at him. Rush is out and MJF wins.

Thoughts: I didn't like the piledriver on the apron not being the end of this, but it was fine otherwise. Rush bled. MJF worked the arm some and won with an arm submission. Rush brought some nice aggression as usual and MJF was the jerk heel as always. It was good.

MJF goes to hit Rush with the title after. Mark Briscoe comes out and stops him. MJF low blows Mark. The Conglomeration comes out to save Mark.

Mark Briscoe vs Lio Rush

The Conglomeration is all weirded out by Lio as he enters.

Lio talks to himself in the corner. Lio tell Mark something in his ear. Mark blocks a boot and flips him. Mark back enzugiri's him. Lio sits up top and is uppercutted down. Mark yells "bang bang" at Lio on the apron then Lio does it back. They trade forearms there. Lio bites Mark's hand. Lio chases Mark around the ring.

Lio is sent out and Mark dropkicks him through the ropes. Mark running blockbusters him from the apron. We go to PiP break and return. Lio topes him outside. Lio hits a strike combo. Lio seated springboard stunners him for 2. 

Mark back body drops him. Lio slaps him. They scream at each other. Mark hits palm strikes. Mark flying forearms him. Mark exploders him then corner lariats him. Mark does an iconoclasm variation for 2. Mark short arm lariats him. Lio jack knifes him for then spin kicks him from the mat. Lio cut throat burning hammer's him for the win.

Thoughts: Lio's new gimmick is starting to work. He's acting goofy enough that the crowd likes it and Mark was a good fit for him as he likes to goofy too. It was an entertaining bout with them having fun and doing their usual offense at a fast pace. I liked it.

Mark gets on the mic after and has words for MJF. He talks about Jay Briscoe dying. He talks about debuting in AEW alone. He says he has to bury his rage. He says The Conglomeration filled his void. Mark says MJF brought the rage back out of him. He says he never hated him like he hates MJF and MJF brought his rage back. He says MJF has the AEW World Title that he wants. He says MJF complains and moans until he gets his shot. 

Mark says he grinds and is calling out MJF. He tells MJF to prove he's the best. He tells him to read his tattoos and says the devil loses in the Bible. He tells him to give him a title shot. 

Thekla stalks in the stands. She says if one person from Stardom came to AEW, she would burn it down. She says she was called the idol killer in Japan and had to take idols out. She says she got fired from Japan and has to do it all over again. She says Skye has to win the Owen Hart Tournament and Hart has to win the TBS Title back. Thek says she has her eyes on Forbidden Door. She says she will close the door and declare death to Stardom. She then climbs a ladder and gives the finger to the Stardom logo.

The Death Riders tell Ospreay to lock in. Mox comes in. He says Mark Davis is taking up space in Will's mind and it's time to discard those thoughts forever. Mox says he can beat him and he will. He says this version of Will hasn't wrestled Mark. Mox says he has one task - to break his arm. Mox says he will take care of the rest. Mox says he's starting to see it in him.

Andrade El Idolo vs Jobber

Idolo back elbows the jobber in the face. The jobber jawbreakers him then Idolo spinning back elbows him. Idolo picks him up on the pin then hits a double underhook drop on him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a quick squash and not much else.

Idolo says he wants the title now that MJF has it. Idolo says he know MJF beat his friend. He asks if MJF thinks he can beat him and says "how you know?".

Don Callis comes out with Jake Doyle and interrupts Idolo. Don says Kevin Knight is the newest member of The Don Callis Family (and loses his gum while saying it). Kevin comes out.  

AEW TNT Title - Kevin Knight (c) vs Mike Bailey

They lock up and KK slides out. KK flips him on the floor and sends Mike into the steps. Mike is sent into the rails. KK euros him outside. Mike rolls him up for 2. KK ducks a superkick. KK lariats him over the top. 

Mike plants off the apron and kicks him. Mike 2nd rope corkscrew moonsaults him. Mike misses a top rope SSP. KK dropkicks him and hits mounted shots. We go to PiP break and return. 

KK blocks a spinning ddt with a suplex. KK low lariats him for 2. KK hits mounted shots. Mike rolls him up for 2. Mike facekicks him then pump kicks him. KK goes to leapfrog and takes a super hard roundhouse kick to the head. KK pump kicks him off the apron. Mike goes for a triangle moonsault and is pushed out. KK springboard diving lariats him outside.

Mike rolls him up for 2. Mike standing moonsault double knee drops him. Mike buzzsaw kicks him for 2. Mike spin kicks him in the face. Mike is on the 2nd rope and KK hurricanrana's him down. KK spinning backbreakers him for 2. 

Mike catches his springboard then rolls him up for 2. Mike spinning roundhouse kicks him. Mike enzugiri's him up top. Jake Doyle and Don Callis get on the apron. Don trips Mike on the top rope. KK hits a nearly dangerous 2nd rope sky high. KK uranage's him for the win.

Thoughts: I was fine with this one. They didn't overdo it too much and flew a lot as expected. Mike didn't lose clean so a rematch is possible. Mike's spinning roundhouse kick on the leapfrog attempt sounded pretty nasty and Mike nearly got hurt bad on the 2nd rope sky high.

Kevin says that's how you do it and he linked up with The Don Callis Family. He says he will have 2 belts soon and is waiting on MJF.

The Dogs are interviewed. They have alcohol. They said they took out Cope and Cage and invented the new 5 second pose then took out The Bang Bang Gang. They said they brought some 5 second brews and kazoo's. The Young Bucks come in. The Bucks say The Dogs think they are next in line for the tag titles but say they disagree. The Bucks says they can settle it tonight. Finlay says they wrestle when they feel like it.

Renee interviews MJF in a tub in the back. MJF says everyone wants a shot at his title. MJF says his title is the most important title in wrestling. MJF says no match for him. He says the world title is for top guys like MJF and not Mark. MJF says he's what he says goes and tells Mark to stop asking because it won't happen.

Owen Hart Tournament Women's Quarterfinal Match - Alex Windsor vs Mercedes Mone

Mone is a wildcard here as she replaces Willow. She hasn't been around for a long time. 

Mone hits a palm strike in the corner then throws her down backwards. AW drops down and Mone walks on her back. Mone rolls her up for 1 then dropkicks her. AW armdrags her then basement dropkicks her. Mone back elbows her and 2nd rope diving armdrags her. Mone la mistica drops her into a crossface. 

Mone backcrackers her for 2. Mone goes for a meteora but AW avoids it. Mone knees her over the 2nd rope then neckbreakers her over the 2nd rope. Mone meteora's her off the apron. We go to PiP break and return. 

Mone hits triple suplexes. AW throws her off the ropes and corner lariats her. AW flying lariats her. AW cannonballs her off the apron outside. AW flying lariats her off the apron outside. They go back in and Mone hits 2 suplexes. AW hits a bad made in japan for 2.

Mone boots her out of the corner. They fight on the buckles. Mone top rope diving meteora's her down for 2. Mone misses a corner meteora. They roll each other up and AW rolls her up for 2. Mone knees her in the face and backcrackers her. Mone crossfaces her and submits her.

Thoughts: It was fine. I had no real issues with this. They kept things moving and didn't botch much. A little more work on the arm and shoulder would have been nice though. Mone won as expected. 

Renee interviews Don Callis and Kazuchika Okada. Don says he's a magnet for gold. He says Kevin Knight will become the greatest TNT champ of all time. He says Mark Davis will break the neck of Will Ospreay and win The Owen Hart Tournament. Don says they will then go to the main event of All In. Don says Okada got screwed and they won't stand for it. Okada says Takeshita is nothing without The Family. Okada says his International Title doesn't belong in a backpack and won't be there for long.

Tomasso Ciampa does a promo. He says Chris Jericho is home as he beat him up. He says he will do it again and again. He says reality struck on CJ and says he arrived while CJ is gone. He tells him to stay away and says he will be waiting if he returns.

Owen Hart Tournament Men's Quarterfinal Match - Will Ospreay vs Mark Davis

Mark still has the eyepatch on. Will dropkicks him in the knee and hits kicks. Mark chops him. Will flying headscissors him.  Will takes his eye patch off and hits mounted shots on him in the corner. Mark slams him. Will enzugiri's him. Mark back body drops him.

Mark sentons him. Mark forearms him in the back of the neck. Mark cobra twists him. Will handspring corkscrew kicks him. Will springboard flying forearms him for 2. Will bangs Mark's arm off his shoulder. Will dropkicks him. Mark sends Will into the LED board rails.

Will hurricanrana's Mark on the floor. Mark's head is banged off the commentary table. Mark release suplexes him on the commentary table. We go to break and return. Mark running hip attacks him against the rails outside. Mark superplexes him inside. We go to PiP break and return.

Will boots him out of the corner and is thrown off the top. Mark chops and lariats him in the corner. Mark backdrops him for 2. Mark lariats him down. They trade forearms and chops. Will hits forearms. Will kips up into an enzugiri on him. Will hits Kawada kicks.

Will superkicks him in the face. Will back enzugiri's him. Will hits slaps and 3 kicks to the face and head. Will corkscrew kicks him in the back for 2. Will germans him for 2. 

Will top rope double stomps Mark's arm. Will triangles him and Mark powerbombs him out. Mark yanks him into a piledriver for 2. They fight on the apron. Will is lariated into the ring. Will hurricanrana's him off the apron. Mark comes in and takes a springboard dropkick. Will hits a styles clash on him for 2. 

Mark enzugiri's the ref when Will moves. Will hidden blade's him but the ref is down. Trent Barreta and El Clon come in and beat up Will. The Death Riders fight off Clon and Trent. Lance Archer crossbodies them. Claudio comes in and springboard euros Lance. Cage F-5's Claudio. Pac hits kicks on Cage. Will os cutters Mark. Jake Doyle pulls the ref out and bodyblocks Will.

Shafir comes out and gets on Jake's back. Jake throws her down hard. Mox then hits shots on Jake. Mox double underhook ddt's Jake and lariats him over the top with Shafir. Pac top rope moonsaults outside.  

Kyle Fletcher then comes out and hits a half and half suplex on Will. Kyle pulls a screwdriver out. Takeshita comes out and fights with Kyle on the floor. Will knocks away Mark's screwdriver and hits a hidden blade but the ref is down. Another ref comes out and counts 2.

Mark over the shoulder piledrivers Will for 2. Will rolls Mark into an armbar and submits him.

Thoughts: The amount of run in's were obscene here. I'd like to know why Shane Taylor Promotions didn't come down since they were involved in Collision's big fight with The Don Callis Family and The Death Riders. I thought they did too much here and thought will could have worked the arm a bit more in this. I'd really like to know what the second ref who came down was waiting for and how he knew the first ref was down but yet somehow saw none of the 13 run-in's.

Overall thoughts: This went 20 minutes late which I didn't appreciate. They had a lot of wrestling here as usual but also a pretty solid amount of promos. The main was the only thing I didn't really care for here. Mark/Lio was my favorite match on here. I'd give this a 7 out of 10. The wrestling was pretty strong, they furthered a lot of feuds and did a pretty good job of keeping everything together here. I thought it was good.
