Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Taz are on commentary.

MJF is with the entire Don Callis Family. Lexi interiews them. MJF says his title is the only world title that matters. He says he's the best wrestler in the world. He says lot's of men call him and his title out. He talks about Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher. He tells Swerve Strickland that if he wants power, come win The Owen and take the title. He tells him to swerve off a bridge if he can't. He says he hops Ospreay makes it to Wembley so he can break his neck in front of his fans. He says he beat Omega twice and he's a meer mortal who can't get redemption. He says Mark Briscoe isn't a big star and says people just feel bad for him because his brother died. He says Mark's delusional to think he can win the title. 

Don says he has an all-star team for tonight with Kevin Knight, Kyle Fletcher, Jake Doyle, Okada and Andrade El Idolo. Idolo asks MJF if he thinks he will join him and asks, "How you know?". Don says Idolo is a future world champ who needs to be patient and get in line. He tells him to do the match. 

Kenny Omega vs Tony Nese

Nese poses. Mark Sterling distracts KO and Nese sweeps KO. Nese misses an asai moonsault. KO dragon suplexes him twice. KO pumping knees him on the ropes. Mark Sterling gets on the apron and KO pumping knees him. KO hits an OWA and wins.

Thoughts: I don't know what the purpose of this was as at all. Nese never wrestlers on this show and Kenny basically squashed him.

Kenny Omega goes to talk and Zack Sabre Jr. comes out with Mikey Nichols and Bad Dude Tito. Omega leaves the ring. Jack Perry and The Young Bucks come out. Omega says neither he or TMDK knows what it stands for. Omega thanks Zack for coming here to challenge him. Omega says it'll be them in a 1v1 match. Omega talks in a goofy manner does his goodnight bang line.

Thoughts: This was not good and certainly not a great way to sell one of the bigger matches at a PPV. This was basically a comedic promo, but Kenny's long been one of the worst promos in wrestling and it's not surprising.

The Death Riders (Jon Moxley and Daniel Garcia) vs Brodido (Bandido and Brody King)

DG slaps Band and DG kicks dust his way. Band then does that taunt to him. They take each other over and stand off. DG shoulders him over then Band dropkicks him. BK slams DG and drops Band on top of him. Band's team dance and DG stops it. DG then dances. DG takes a double chop down. 

Mox and BK trade chops and forearms. Mox bites his face. BK stands still as Mox tries to crossbody him. BK slams DG. Band is helped up top and Band top rope moonsaults both opponents outside. We go to PiP break and return.

BK drops Mox with a shot. They trade chops. Mox forearms and lariats him. Mox cutters BK and BK lariats him. DG and Band get in. DG crucifixes him and takes an overhead belly to belly suplex into the buckles. BK goes for a tope outside and Marina Shafir gets in the way. Those two bark at each other.

Mox topes BK then DG stomps on BK. BK takes a spike piledriver on the floor. Band is crotched on the rail and DG elbows him into the front row. DG bulldogs BK for 2. DG spears BK in the knee but BK falls on him. Mox hits shots on BK's gut then he rakes his back. Mox superplexes BK for 2. We go to PiP break and return. Mox forearms BK. DG bites BK. BK takes running corner lariats then hits a double lariat. Band pop-up cutters Mox then tilt-a-whirl backbreakers DG twice. Band gorilla press slams DG onto Mox.

Band trips Mox into the ropes. Band goes for a suplex on Mox. Shafir punches Band in the gut then Band suplexes Shafir. Band tope con hilos DG, Mox and Shafir outside. Band top rope frgosplashes DG.

BK germans Mox, they lariat each other and both go down. DG chops Band. Band pop-up knees DG. BK tope Mox outside and Band hits 21plex on DG. Band pins DG.

Thoughts: It didn't start off well as we had people dancing and BK barking with Shafir. It was a longer bout and it could have been shorter. The Death Riders were back to being heels here after being faces vs The Shane Taylor Promotions last time. There were just a lot of issues with this and I didn't care for it.

Kyle Fletcher and Kazuchika Okada talk. Kyle says they will be in the main event tonight and the main event at Forbidden Door. Kyle says they will bring the International Title back to The Family. They don't know who they are facing at Forbidden Door but know it won't be Tomohiro Ishii. Ishii is down underneath them holding his neck.  

Tomasso Ciampa does a promo. He says he can give Jericho one reason why he hates him and not 1,004 reasons. He says he used to respect him and talks about his career. He says he used to be the best but is desperate with jokes and puns. He says he hates every last bit of him. He tells Jericho to stay home or out of his world if he brings that version of Jericho out. He says let's dance if he thinks Ciampa is worthy. He says the ball in his court and not to drop it.

The Dogs mess with a production guy in the back. Clark lights a match. It turns out to be Adam Copeland. Christian Cage appears. They beat up The Dogs on the ramp and in the ring. DG is lariated out of the ring and Clark is sent into the buckles shoulder first. The faces go for a double spear and DF saves Clark. 

Cage gets on the mic. He says most people expect him to say something bad about a family member. He says even he has standards though. He says he's never faced a tag team who is named after their mothers. Cage makes some gross comments. Cope says The Dogs are them from 30 years ago. Cope says The Dogs are their learning curve. Cope says they thought they figured it out when they faced The APA and The New Age Outlaws. Cope says they learned. Cope says they will use their old man strength and knowledge. Cope says The Dogs will walk out of Forbidden Door as house broken pups.

We get a video on Starlight Kid and see a translated promo. She says she will bring the AEW Title home and asks the crowd to support her.

Thekla says she did all the dojo stuff Kid did. She said it got her kicked out of the company. She says she doesn't need to be Tony Khan's favorite wrestler like Starlight Kid. She says she will take off her mask and take a dump in it (with fart sounds). She says she runs this place on this side of the forbidden door.

Brodido are interviewed. Bandido is happy about winning and being together. King says they are one of the best teams in the world. Band says he wants the Continental Title. The Death Riders walk in. Mox asks if Band wants a Continental Title shot. He says it means them mano y mano. Mox tells him to shoot his shot. Band is excited.

Owen Hart Foundation 2026 Women's Tournament Semi Final Match - Mercedes Mone vs. Hazuki

They trade waistlocks. Mone back elbows her and throws her down by the hair. Haz slips on a springboard and armdrags her. Mone armdrags her. Haz dropkicks her. Haz hits facewash kicks and Mone rolls to the apron. 

Haz flying headscissors Mone and dropkicks her. Mone stalls on the stage. We go to PiP break and return. Mone drops Haz's chest onto the knees. Mone bangs Haz's head off the apron. 

Mone snapmares Haz then meteora's her on the bottom rope for 2. Mone boots Haz in the face. Haz ddt's Mone over the 2nd rope on the apron. Haz topes Mone outside three times. Haz top rope dropkicks Mone for 2. Haz crossfaces Mone. Mone suplexes Haz twice. 

Mone pulls Haz's arm over the 2nd rope. Mone meteora's her on the ramp. We go to PiP break and return. Haz hits forearms. Mone boots Haz out of the corner. Mone is on the 2nd rope and takes a codebreaker. Haz top rope sentons Mone for 2. Haz crossfaces her.

They trade forearms on their knees. They boot each other down. Haz ddt's her. Haz suplexes her and Mone rolls out. They trade pin attempts. Mone crossfaces her. Mone backcrackers her. Haz rolls her up for 2 then gets a another 2 count on her. Haz la magistral's her for 2. 

Mone kicks Haz in the gut. Haz back elbows her. Mone backcrackers Haz and crossfaces her. Haz taps out.

Thoughts: It got more time than it needed and was a longer bout. It was alright enough but the winner was never in doubt here. 

We get a video on Athena vs Maya World.

Tony Schiavone interviews Will Ospreay in the ring and congratulates him on getting married to Alex Windsor. He talks about having intercourse with her and told her to "clean herself up". Swerve Strickland is brought out with Prince Nana. Nana says Tony's suit is too tight and tells him to get out. 

Swerve says he's been keeping an eye on Will and hasn't liked what he saw from him. Swerve says he changed. Will says he hasn't changed but says Swerve has changed. Will asks if they have a problem. Swerve says he does. He says they fought off The Death Riders in 2025 and now Will is playing Booty Boot Camp with them. Swerve says Will never explained it to anyone.

Will says he hasn't forgotten what The Death Riders did to him and he has to let it go. He says they are his training partners. He says the training is working. He says when The Death Riders broke his neck in London, he saw Darby and Kenny trying to get in the cage but didn't see Swerve. He asks where Swerve was and says Swerve's knee was injured. Will says this started at All In: Texas. He says they beat The Young Bucks. He says he asked Swerve for help in getting the belt back. He says Swerve said nothing and Will ended up in a hospital.

Will says he expects Swerve to run through a brick wall to help him and asks Swerve where he was and why didn't help him. He then slaps the mic away from Swerve. He says Forbidden Door is bigger than any explanation. Will says Forbidden Door is his dream. He says he used to work new Wembley. He says he and everyone else wanted to kick the winning goal there. He says this is he semi-final to his world cup. He says Swerve won't hesitate to end his dream and knows Swerve won't hesitate either.

Swerve said he had to listen to Will tell him it was Adam Page's time last year to become champ. He asks where Page is now. He says everything they did was for nothing. They then bleep out what Swerve said next. Swerve says he's done stepping aside for others over opportunities he deserved. He says he's not letting it happen. 

Swerve says it's fireworks every time him and Will fight and it will be so at Forbidden Door. He says one thing is certain - Swerve being victorious over Will. 

He says Will hasn't beaten him in 10 years. He says he will beat him again and again. He says Will and his fragile neck aren't better than him. Will then drops him with a shot. Nana gives Swerve a chain. 

The Death Riders come out. Swerve says Will is wrong and he has changed. 

Thoughts: It was a long segment. Some video clips really would have helped to explain all this. Will's comments about his wife were pretty gross and what really made it a problem is that his wife is supposed to be a babyface wrestler here.

Lexy interviews Chris Jericho. CJ challenges Ciampa for Collision and says they should get serious face to face. 

Will Ospreay and Daniel Garcia argue in the back. DG asks what Will will do about being called fragile. Will grabs DG. Mox asks if Will feels in control. Mox says these are just words and words can't hurt you unless they let them. Mox says you use words when you have nothing else. Mox tells Will he's this close and tells him not to lose control and focus. Mox tells him it's just words, DG echo's it and Mox slaps DG.

The Conglomeration does a promo before they come out for their match. Mark says he was told he has a glass ceiling and he has more motivation to break through it. Mark says they will avenge Ishii. Kyle says he heard from Tony Khan than if anyone is DQ'd here, they are out of Forbidden Door. Mark says they have 2 more partners to introduce - Konosuke Takeshita. KT says he wants Kyle and hates Okada. Mark says the other partner is Darby Allin. Darby comes in and says they will beat them her and at Forbidden Door. 

Darby Allin, Konosuke Takeshita, Mark Briscoe & The Conglomeration (Kyle O'Reilly, Orange Cassidy & Roderick Strong) vs. Don Callis Family (Andrade El Idolo, Jake Doyle, Kazuchika Okada, Kevin Knight & Kyle Fletcher) & MJF 

Kyle O'Reilly = KOR, KF = Kyle Fletcher, KT = Konosuke Takeshita 

Mark hits punches on Idolo. Mark flying forearms Idolo. Idolo pushes Mark back first into the apron. Idolo flirts with a girl at ringside. Mark dropkicks Idolo through the ropes. Mark hits mounted corner punches on Idolo. Strong does the same. OC tries it and is stopped. OC pulls down Idolo's pants on a sunset flip.

The Kyle's fight and trade basic holds. KF slams him. KOR ankle locks him then everyone comes in to fight. OC topes outside and Darby top rope coffin drops outside. KT tope con hilos outside.

Darby and MJF get in the ring. Kevin hits Darby from behind then stomps him. KF then stomps Darby and pounds on him. Kevin and KF push each other. MJF stomps Darby's leg. We go to PiP break and return. 

Jake bangs OC's arm off his shoulder. Jake isn't looking and bangs MJF's arm off his shoulder. Idolo cheers it on. MJF argues with Jake and Strong nails MJF. Strong uranage backbreakers Kevin then backbreakers KF. He drops Okada chest first on the mat. 

OC is thrown into a headscissors on Idolo. Strong hits forearms on Jake. Jake forearms him down. Strong olympic slams him for 2. KOR hits kicks on Jake and rebound lariats him. Idolo flying forearms KOR. Darby hits forearms on Idolo. Kevin trips Darby and Idolo spinning back elbows Darby. Everyone starts coming in to hit a move one after the other. 

Mark uppercuts Kevin. Mark flying forearms Okada then exploders KF. Kevin springboard flying lariats Mark. Darby goes after Kevin and Kevin goes into the crowd. Darby chokes him on the stage. Jake holds Darby for shots from Kevin. Jake throws Darby from the stage into the ring post.

Mark hits a jay driller on MJF. Don Callis distracts the ref. MJF pulls Strong down by the arm and taps him out quick with an armbar.

Thoughts: I don't know why this happened since these guys are all fighting in a cage match at Forbidden Door. The finish was a bit sudden here and didn't really fit this. It was alright otherwise. I was surprised Idolo didn't get DQ'd here so then he wouldn't have to wrestle at Forbidden Door. 

The heels beat up the faces after. MJF and Idolo argue. MJF hits Mark with the Dynamite Diamond Ring.

Overall thoughts: They were mostly stretching things out here to fill up time and most of the matches/segments went long here. I thought AEW reverted back to a lot of their old problems during this show. Kenny Omega had an awful promo after his match to hype up his match with Zack Sabre Jr. at Forbidden Door. The Death Riders and Brodido had some silly moments in their match and The Death Riders were back to being heels here after being faces last week. I liked the Dogs vs Cope/Cage segment. Thekla cut a gross promo about how she's going to take a dump in Starlight Kid's mask then she made fart sounds. Mone/Hazuki got a lot of time and it was an okay bout. We had a longer Swerve/Ospreay segment where Will talked about having intercourse with his wife (which I didn't want to hear about and made Alex Windsor look bad) and where many old things were brought up that hadn't been seen or mentioned ever in some cases. The main was fine, but they basically gave us the main event (without the cage) of Forbidden Door for free on TV about 2 weeks before it will happen and I don't know why. Forbidden Door is always a problem build wise because it's mostly random matches and wrestlers and despite less non-AEW wrestlers coming in this year for it, the problems mostly remain the same. I'd give this a 4 out of 10. This was not good, it was embarrassing at times and they did a poor job of building up Forbidden Door here.
