CMLL 6/8/2026 Arena Puebla

Note - There was supposed to be a 3-way tag with Mort/Guevara vs The Villanos vs The Calavera Jr.'s. That got changed. They then had a Villano and Star Black tag set up but that also got changed.

The announcer welcomes us to the show as usual.
 
Lightning Match - Onix vs Perverso

They say Onix is debuting here.

Perv waistlocks him and Onix side headlocks him. Onix ties up the leg and Perv armbars him. Onix armdrags him. Onix sunset flips him for 1. They sweep each other and Perv chops him down. Perv chops him outside then suplexes him on the floor. 

Perv brings him in and pulls on his mask. Onix armdrags him and dropkicks him out. Onix tope con hilos him outside. Onix rolls into a hurricanrana inside. Onix then spinning armdrags him. Onix walks up the buckles, seated moonsaults and armdrags him. 

Onix rolls him up for 2. Onix hurricanrana's him for 2. Perv is on the 2nd rope and Onix legdrops him off the 2nd rope for 2. Onix hits a sky high and pins him.

Thoughts: It was nice of them to let Onix win here. It was a basic lucha match. Onix didn't botch though and he was fine, just a bit wooden. It was not a bad debut. 

Ultimo Dragoncito and Shockercito vs Mercurio and Minos I

1st Fall - Shocker and Minos go at it. Minos waistlocks him and Shock hammerlocks him. Minos side headlocks him. They trade holds on the mat and Shock armdrags him twice. Shock armdrags him then they sweep each other. Shock spinning reverse headscissors him from the mat. UD and Merc go at it.

Merc offers a handshake. UD backrolls him and they do legsweeps. They then stand off. Shock springboard diving armdrags Merc. Minos shoulders over Shock and Shock is double stomped on. Minos leapfrogs UD thne UD runs into a head kick from Merc.

Merc slaps UD from behind then Minos stomps on Shock. Shock is popped up into a powerbomb. Minos fireman's carry gutbusters Shock and pins him. Minos' team wins the fall.

2nd Fall - UD is ear clapped by Merc. UD is kicked in the thigh in the corner then he takes a double basement dropkick. Shock's springboard is caught by Merc then Merc slaps him down. Shock is double stomped on then thrown by the hair. The heels celebrate.

UD is chopped in the corner. Minos is sent into Merc then UD headscissors Minos down. Shock top rope diving headscissors Merc. Shock topes Merc and UD pop-up hurricanrana's Minos. UD pins Minos. Shockercito's team wins the fall.

3rd Fall - Merc superkicks UD down. UD double lariats the heels. UD flying headscissors Merc then armdrags Minos out. UD tilt-a-whirl backbreakers UD. Shock pulls Minos down by the hair. Shock is hiptossed into the ropes and he armdrags Minos off of it.

Merc boots Shock out of the corner and struts. Shock tilt-a-whirl armdrags Merc. Shock flying reverse headscissors Merc out then poses. Minos stomps on UD and Merc spanks UD. UD sunset flips Merc and Minos kicks Merc on accident. Shock is popped up into a dropkick on Minos. UD tope con hilos Minos through the ropes. Shock satellite headscissors Merc then submits him with a spinning back torture rack. Shockercito's team wins the fall and match.

Thoughts: It was a nice little mini's match. They kept it moving and hit their stuff clean. Shock's a likeable face and Merc is always an entertaining heel. This went well and had a little something for everyone. 

Meyer and Astro vs Konjuro and Prayer

Astro walks up the ropes, seated moonsaults and armdrags Prayer. Astro springboard diving headscissors him. Astro then ardmrags Kon off a hiptoss attempt. Astro enzugiri's Kon from the apron then springboard diving armdrags him out.

Prayer chops Meyer then Meyer chops back. Meyer trips him then flying headscissors him. Kon gets in and Meyer does a headscissors + armdrag takeover on both opponents. Meyer is double flipped into the ropes and he does a duble armdrag off of it. Meyer and Astro hit stereo tope con hilos outside. 

Meyer hits a tope on Kon but Prayer spears Astro inside for 2. Astro 2nd rope hurricanrana's Prayer and pins him. Astro's team wins the match.

Thoughts: What we got was fine but it was a very short match and basically a waste of these guys. Konjuo basically got to do nothing. 

Star Black and El Hijo del Pantera vs Vegas Depredaor and Crixus

1st Fall - Veg and Pant lock up. Pant trips him then Veg trips him. They stand off again. Veg armdrags him then Pant armdrags him back. Veg armdrags him again and back elbows him. They roll on the mat and stand off again.

Crix and Star get in. Star does headflips then he dropkicks him. Pant top rope crossbodies Crix and is caught. Crix euros him in the corner then lariats Star in the corner. Crix spears Star. Pant's legs are held open for a top rope Veg dropkick. Veg pins Pant. Crixus' team wins the fall.

2nd Fall - Veg hits Star from behind and Star is double teamed. Star is picked up for a powerbomb from Veg. Star takes a double basement dropkick. Pant is held for shots then he takes a double flapjack. Pant takes a double basement dropkick. Pant is double teamed in the corner.

Pant walks the middle rope and fakes them out. Star hits a top rope double crossbody. Pant and Star do springboard reverse topes and pick up stereo pins. Star Black's team wins the fall. 

3rd Fall - The heels stall outside. Pant and Crix pose at each other. Pant walks up the ropes and diving headscissors Crix. Pant handstands in the corner then he headscissors Veg down off of it. Crix and Star trade chops. They double lariat each other.

Crix is back body dropped. Star walks up the ropes and diving armdrags Crix from the top. Star goes up and over Veg and backflips. Star armdrags Veg. Star handspring backflip reverse topes Veg. Star dropkicks Veg out. Star's team hits stereo topes outside.

Crix is double chopped down. Crix takes a double flying headbutt then Pant is dropped onto Crix for 2. Veg pop-up slams Pant for 2. Star sitout torture rack drops Veg for 2. Crix falcon arrows Star for 2. Crix is sent out and Star topes him. Pant pop-up hurricanrana's Veg and pins him. Star Black's team wins the fall and match.

Thoughts: It was fine. It wasn't anyone's best match or anything but things went well. The faces flew a little and the heels didn't draw out the group beatings too much. Star looked like he was hurting here as he was not doing his flips as well as usual.

Villano III Jr. and El Hijo del Villano III vs Calavera Jr I and II

 Cal = Either Cal since the look so similar.

1st Fall - V3Jr came out in rock star clothing and had a guitar. Hijo and and a Cal go at it. Hijo chops him then Cal chops back. They roll on the mat and Hijo stops him. Cal flips out of a snapmare. They trade armdrags and headflip up together.

V3Jr and the other Cal fight. V3Jr side headlocks him. V3Jr asai moonsaults hm outside. Hijo top roep crossbodies a Cal. Hijo step up knees him in the corner then hits mounted corner punches. 

Hijo 2nd rope asai moonsaults a Cal and pins him. Los Villanos win the first fall.

2nd Fall - V3Jr chops a Cal then Cal chops back. Cal hits punches. A Cal is beaten up outside and double rammed into the post head first. A Cal has his mask pulled on by The Villano's. That Cal then is double stomped on.

Cal takes a codebreaker then he is held for a springboard double stomp to the back. V3Jr punches Cal in the gut in the corner then chops him. V3Jr monkey flips him into a sitout HIjo powerbomb. V3Jr low blows Cal then stands on his throat. Hijo joins in.

Cal walks up the ropes and diving armdrags Hijo. Cal top rope diving armdrags V3Jr. The Villanos take spinebusters then they are tied up together. The Cal's submit them with a double arm submission. Los Calavera Jr win the fall.

3rd Fall - Cal tries to unmask V3Jr on the buckles. Cal superkicks V3Jr down. V3Jr is beaten up on the ramp then double gorilla press thrown in. Hijo's mask is pulled at and he  takes forearms on the ropes. Hijo is then double stomped on.

Hijo takes a double step up enzugiri.  V3Jr double springboard dropkicks Los Cal. The Villanos hit stereo tope con hilo dives to the outside. Cal is double superkicked. Hijo asai moonsaults him then V3Jr springboard swantons him for 2.

A Cal flying headscissors Hijo. V3Jr takes a back elbow then is held for a codebreaker for 2. The Cal's are thrown into each other and take kicks to the face. The Villanos miss flying moves on them then they take spinebusters. The Cal's do stereo springboard swantons and stereo asai moonsaults. Los Calavera Jr win the fall and match.

Thoughts: It was a good bout here. The Villano's did a lot of flying and The Calavera's were more heelish here. It went well and wasn't quite as wild as some of their other encounters. It was a smarter match though and I was pleased with how it turned out.

Lightning Match - The Beast Mortos vs Difunto

Dif wore a suitjacket out for this. Mort backs up Dif in the corner then slaps him there. Dif then chops back. Dif armdrags him and Mort armdrags back. Mort rolls over his back with an armdrag and headflips out of a headscissors. They then stand off. 

Mort headbutts Dif. Mort misses a flying corner move and goes out. Mort comes back in and elbows Dif down. Mort slaps him twice. Mort back elbows Dif. He spin kicks him and twists his neck with his feet. 

Mort corner lariats Dif. Dif ducks an elbow drop then dropkicks Mort in the knee. Dif topes Mort outside. Mort boots him out of the corner and hits slingblades on him. Dif powerslams him and hits kicks. Dif spinning heel kicks him then flying elbows him for 2. 

Mort pop-up samoan drops Dif for 2. Mort misses a top rope twisting swanton. Dif rope walk dropkicks him for 2. Dif walks up the ropes and double axe handles him for 2. Dif ries it again and is speared down. Mort powerbomb backbreakers him and spinning lariats him. Mort pins him.

Thoughts: It was a lightning match so it didn't get too much time. What we got was alright. Dif flew a little and Mort powered him down. Mort didn't overdo it here and the match was helped because of it. 

Komander, Neon and Xelhua vs Zandokan Jr., Barbaro Cavernario and Yutani

1st Fall - Zand offers Xel a handshake and Xel is hit from behind. Barb stomps on Xel as the others fight outside. Barb corner lariats Xel then running kicks him. Barb drops Neon with a shot then Neon is abused on the ropes. Kom is thrown out to the ramp. Neon is triple stomped on.

Kom comes in. He flips over Barb, walks up the buckles and diving headscissors him. Kom corkscrew headscissors Barb. Kom spinning headscissors Barb. Neon flying headscissors Zand from the apron. Xel top rope crossbodies Yut. 

Yut pump kicks Barb on accident then Kom top rope diving armdrags Yut into a seatbelt pin. Komander pins Yutani. Neon's team wins the fall. 

2nd Fall - Neon walks up the ropes and flips. Neon headscissors Yut down. Barb slaps Neon. Neon double jump diving headscissors Barb. Neon backflips into an armdrag on Zand. Xel tilt-a-whirl backbreakers Yut and Barb. Xel is pulled out and basement dropkicked. Zand beats up Xel outside.

Barb giant swings Kom then Yut basement dropkicks Kom as he swings. Yut 2nd rope outside to inside moonsaults Kom. Barb gets a 2 count on Kom. Kom is triple teamed.

Zand powerslams Xel. Xel then takes a Yut standing moonsault and a senton from Barb. Barb pins Xelhua. Zandokan Jr's team wins the fall.

3rd Fall - Zand beats up Neon on the ramp then throws him in. Zand lariats and facekicks Neon down. Yut unties Xel's mask on the ramp. Kom is popped up then Barb kicks him. The heels take over and Kom is ganged up on. 

Yut foot chokes Kom. Kom walks up the ropes and evades the heels. Neon diving headscissors Zand from the top. Yut is backbreakered by Xel. Kom dropkicks Barb out. Kom and Xeon then hit stereo tope con hilos outside. Xel gorilla press slams Yut for 2.  

Yut half-nelson drops Xel then standing moonsaults him for 2. Neon standing moonsaults Yut for 2. Zand slaps Neon down then sitout back body drops him. Kom ddt's Zand for 2. Barb la rosa suplexes Kom. Barb springboard splashes Kom for 2. 

Neon chops Barb then Barb chops back. Neon boots Barb out of the corner. Neon double jump dropkicks Barb out. Zand superkicks Neon. Kom dropkicks Zand. Kom topes Zand outside. Neon asai moonsaults outside. Xel delay suplexes Yut.

Yut takes a wasteland and the heels block Kom's top rope dive attempt. We get a tower of doom spot and Kom gets superplexed. Yut top rope frogsplashes Kom for 2.

Neon pop-up double dropkicks the heels. Neon and Xel hit near stereo topes outside. Yut pump kicks Kom in the ring. Kom poisonrana's him. Kom rope walk ssp's Yut and pins him. Neon's team wins the fall and match.

Thoughts: It was a good main. It flowed well and they kept it interesting. The faces did their flying and the heels did their basic bullying stuff. It was also timed well. Xel has pretty much stopped doing all of his llave, which sucks since that's why everyone liked him. Kom gelled well here with these guys.

The announcer closes the show as usual. 

Overall thoughts: It was a good show from CMLL. The 7 match format helped things as nothing got too much time so the stalling and posing for the crowd was reduced. Onix was fine in his debut, just not spectacular. The mini's match was a good opening style match that was enjoyable. Meyer's match was fine but got very little time. Star Black's bout went fine. I thought The Villanos match was good though it wasn't the great one those two teams had a few weeks ago. I was pleased with how that turned out. The main was good. It was timed well and they kept it interesting. They also made good use of Komander here. I'd give this a 7 out of 10. This was one of the better top to bottom Puebla shows I have seen and I enjoyed it.
