WWF Superstars of Wrestling 10/31/1992

WWF Superstars of Wrestling 10/31/1992

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/04/wwf-superstars-of-wrestling-10241992.html

Vince McMahon and Mr. Perfect open the show. Vince hypes up the tag title match tonight. Perfect predicts The ND's will lose the titles to Money Inc.

We then do a split screen with Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan, who will be calling the tag title match. Gorilla says The Natural Disasters bring too much to the table for Money Inc. Bobby says if anyone can beat The ND's, it's Money Inc.

The Nasty Boys were supposed to get the tag title shot but Jimmy Hart gave it to Money Inc instead. The Nasty's come out before it starts. The Nasty's point and yell at Jimmy Hart. Money Inc go up to The Nasty's from behind in the ring and those two teams argue. Dibiase gives Knobbs money to pay him off. Knobbs says "I don't think so". IRS then chips some cash in. Knobbs counts the cash. The Nasty's put the money in their pockets and start beating up on Money Inc. The Nasty's hit lariats on them and throw IRS out. Ted then takes a double clothesline. The Nasty's then leave with the cash.

Thoughts: I enjoyed this. It made sense and it was a nice big happening at time when there weren't a lot of them on TV. This feels like the beginning of a face turn for The Nasty's.

WWF Tag Titles - The Natural Disasters (Earthquake and Typhoon) vs Money Inc. (Ted Dibiase and Irwin R. Schyster)

This starts with IRS down outside of the ring and The ND's double teaming Ted. Ted takes a double shoulderblock then takes splashes from The ND's in the corner with Quake splashing Ty's back into Ted. Ty slams Ted then IRS trips Ty from behind. Ted hits Ty from behind. Ty's head is banged off the buckles. He takes shots from IRS.

Ted bangs Ty's head off the buckles. IRS elbow drops Ty. IRS tries to suplex him but can't. Ty suplexes IRS. Quake and Ted get in. Quake jumping kicks Ted and back elbows him. Quake atomic drops IRS out of the ring. Quake powerslams Ted then elbow drops him. The Headshrinkers and Afa, who have never even been mentioned on Superstars before (well Afa obviously has but you know what I mean), come out.

The Headshrinkers argue with Ty and distract him. Quake takes a double shot from behind. Quake then is thrown over the top and takes a big bump into the rails. We go to break and return with Quake holding his head after hitting it off the rails.

Quake is thrown into the corner then IRS climbs on his back for a sleeper. Quake falls into the buckles and breaks it. Ted sleepers Quake. Quake backs up into the corner to break it again. IRS gets on Quake's back with a sleeper. Ted puts the million dollar dream on Quake. Quake goes to his knees and is out. Money Inc. win!

Thoughts: I know what they were going for here, but I'm a little more welcoming to Bobby Heenan's take on what happened. The Nasty's beat up Money Inc before it started. The match started with IRS down outside. The ND's then double teamed Ted. That wasn't a great way to make The ND's look like faces here and the story of this one was pretty whack. The Headshrinkers made their Superstars debut here. They had had debuted a month or two earlier on Prime Time, but that episode doesn't exist in full and even I don't have it. I have no idea why The Headshrinkers would be mad at The ND's. I'm just glad we actually got to see this title change unlike some others this year. Quake took a nice bump to the outside in this one.

Heenan invites Jimmy Hart up to the booth after and hugs him. Gorilla asks why Hart did what he did to The Nasty's. He says he's the manager and he calls the shots. He said he made the right choice as Money Inc are the tag champs. The Nasty Boys then come down. Saggs grabs Hart. Knobbs then grabs Heenan and Heenan runs. Knobbs says Hart stole their belts and says he's messing with The Nasty's. He calls Hart a runt and threatens him. Money Inc and various officials then come down. Hart gets a pit stop and double gorilla pressed off the commentary stand onto Money Inc.

Thoughts: Hart took a big bump here and was great at selling his fear of being thrown. The Nasty's are definitely faces now.

Mr. Perfect and Vince McMahon talk. Perfect says The Nasty's had no business throwing Hart off the stage. Perfect says Money Inc is a better team.

Yokozuna vs Bill Jordan

Yoko hits a throat shot and uranage's him. Yoko crushes Bill's head with a legdrop then hits a belly to belly suplex. Yoko hits a hard running back elbow in the corner. Yoko then banzai drops him to win.

Thoughts: This is Yokozuna's Superstars debut. He looked really good here. He could move well for his size and he squashed Bill. He also showed some personality in this and looked like a boss. It's clear WWF has found a new prospect and Yokozuna is going to be a force.

We see clips of the Nailz/Taker stare down from last week.

WWF Event Center

Sean Mooney hypes up the 11/7/92 Boston Garden show.

The Macho Man does a promo. He says you gotta dish out what you take and says you gotta sink to the lowest depths to get to the top. He says Razor and Flair are getting dis-assembled one by one. He says he will bring Razor Ramon down.

Nailz says cages are for wild animals and crazy men like himself. He says he will finish Boss once and for all in the cage.

The Big Boss Man does a promo. He says the thing with Nailz has gone on too long. He says the only way to solve it is in the cage. He says they both know this environment well. Boss says he's not climbing out of the cage or walking through the door. He's leaving him in a bloody pulp and leaving him like the loser he is.

Bam Bam Bigelow does a promo. He says beware because he's coming.

Tatanka vs Dale Wolfe

A clown with a giant mallet is spotted in the crowd...

Dale eye rakes Tat then Tat hiptosses him. Tat trips him and armlocks him. Tat hits a back body drop then armlocks him. Tat leapfrogs and dropkicks him. Dale back elbows him in the corner and hits some punches. Dale elbows Tat in the neck and rakes his back.

Dale and Tat trade shots. Tat jumping chops him then hits a regular chop. Tat jumping chops him then slams him. The clown dances in the aisle as Tat comes off the top. Tat hits a samoan drop and gets the pin.

Thoughts:
I liked this one. It was a bit even and Tat moved well. We also got our first sighting of Doink The Clown.

Joe Beavens

Joe Beavens is on the stage. He's new. He interviews Ric Flair and Razor Ramon. Ric says there's no one who knows more about surviving in the WWF than him. He said he survives by being alongside a man who knows more about surviving than any man alive - Razor Ramon. Razor says Warrior and Macho are gloating. Razor says they are both champs and don't need belts to prove it. Ric says one of Macho and Warrior will pay the price. He says one of them doesn't leave the building. Ric says they are focused. He says they will survive, hurt somebody then style and profile.

Survivor Series Report

Mean Gene Okerlund talks about the show. Bret Hart does a promo. He says him and Shawn will face each other and their careers are similar. Bret says Shawn's a great wrestler. He said he dedicated his whole life to be champ and says it will take a hell of a man to beat him. He says we will see if he's that man.

The Big Boss Man fights Nailz in a nighstick on a pole match. Nailz says he can't wait until SS. He says he will climb the pole, grab the stick and finish the job this time. He says Boss will find out what it's like to serve hard time.

Rick Martel vs Tatanka has been announced. The Undertaker and Paul Bearer are at Paul's workshop.

Taker's working on a coffin. Paul says there's never been a coffin match. He says the winner will be the survivor and the loser will rest in eternal damnation. We see the blueprints for it. Paul says Taker will enjoy an early Thanksgiving dinner while Kamala will be an offering.

Hacksaw Jim Duggan does a video. He says you can vote for the candidate of your choice Tuesday and says make your vote count.

Shawn Michaels vs Steve May

Shawn does an inset promo with Sherri. He said he spread his wings and is soaring with the eagles. He says he's taking Bret's title and putting it around his waist. Marty Jannetty then jumps the guard rail. He appears in the mirror reflection.

Marty beats up on him and back body drops him. He sends him into the corner lariats him and hits mounted shots. Marty grabs Shawn's mirror. Marty goes to hit Shawn with it but Shawn pulls Sherri in front of him and Marty nails Sherri with the mirror. Sherri is knocked out and Marty's bothered. The stretcher is then brought out for Sherri. Perfect says Marty hit Sherri on purpose and Vince defends Marty.

Thoughts: Marty hadn't been around since getting thrown through The Barber Shop's window. I was wondering what happened to him. It was a good angle here and we'll have to see where this goes and how it affects Bret vs Shawn at Survivor Series.

WWF Event Center

Sean hypes up the 11/7/1992 Lowell Memorial Auditorium and Boston Garden shows.

Crush does a promo on The Berzerker. He says Berz is next on his list. He says he's big and strong and is a dangerous opponent. He says it will be one of his biggest challenges yet and says, "shaka".

Papa Shango does a promo with a skull with a wig. Papa says British Bulldog is entering his world.
He says it's a dark world that will close on Bulldog. He says his power will overcome him and his voodoo will destroy him.

The British Bulldog does a promo. He says everyone wants a chance at his title. He says Papa Shango is next in line. He tells him to come cast a spell on him. He says it takes more than fire and spells to take the title from him.

Vince tells us Marty Jannetty has regained consciousness. Vince and Perfect talk next week's show which has The Headshrinkers and Money Inc vs High Energy in a tag title match.

Jimmy Hart does a promo. He says he can't believe The Nasty's turned their backs on him after all he did. He says Jack Tunney has forced Money Inc to defend their titles next week. Hart says they don't have time to celebrate and this is not fair.

Overall thoughts
: It was a must see episode and one of the better Superstars eps I've seen. Yokozuna debuted. Joe Beavens debuted. We got a glimpse of Doink the Clown. Marty Jannetty returned. We got a video on Bam Bam Bigelow, who is returning. And The Headshrinkers made their first appearance on the show. We also got a tag title change. I wish more Superstars episodes were like this.

WWF Superstars of Wrestling 10/24/1992

WWF Superstars of Wrestling 10/24/1992

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/03/wwf-superstars-of-wrestling-10171992.html

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/06/wwf-superstars-of-wrestling-10311992.html

We open up with clips of Bret beating Ric Flair for the WWF Title.

Mean Gene talks on the stage about Survivor Series. He brings out Macho Man and The Ultimate Warrior.

Macho says things have changed around here. He says Razor Ramon was quick to put him under the microscope and says now lets put Flair under the microscope as he doesn't have the title. Macho says the difference between them is that Macho and Warrior are survivors. Macho then does a poem. He says they will be the ultimate survivors. Warrior said Razor called them The Ultimate Losers. Warrior says their bond is inseparable. Warrior says Flair and Razor have no hearts so no bond can be formed. Warrior says Razor's and Flair's ultimate destiny is ultimate defeat.

Vince McMahon and Mr. Perfect talk. Perfect says Flair is a 2x WWF champ and a survivor. He says Razor survived on the streets by himself. He says The Maniacs will not survive Survivor Series. They then run down today's show.

Crush vs Ken Johnson

Ken hits some boots and punches. Crush stares him down then backbreakers him. Crush gorilla presses him and slams him. Crush legdrops him. Crush does an inset promo. He says Survivor Series is right around the corner. He says the main will be like a volcano erupting again. Crush clubs Ken off the top. Crush tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him. Crush then does the head squeeze and wins.

Thoughts: It was the usual Crush squash and it was what it was. I can't say it was overly impressive.

The Natural Disasters (Earthquake & Typhoon) vs Bill Jordan and Tom "Rocky" Stone

Bill tries to shoulder Quake over and fails. Quake dropkicks him then clubs him. Tom gets in and calls for Typhoon to get in. Tom wants a test of strength but he can;t reach high enough. Ty messes with him. Tom tries to boot him in the gut but gets nowhere. Ty stomps on Tom's hands then he dropkicks him.

Ty hits a corner lariat. Bill and Tom are in the corner and Quake splashes Ty's back into them. Bill is thrown out and Ty slams Tom. Ty hits a big splash then Quake butt drops Tom to win.

Thoughts: It was the usual ND's squash. Tom brought some personality to it but he had no chance here.

WWF Event Center

Sean Mooney hypes up the 11/7/92 Lowell Memorial Auditorium show and the 11/7/92 Boston Garden show.

Nailz vs. Scott Zappa

Nailz throws Scott out. Nailz grabs the mic and calls for The Big Boss Man. He knocks Scott off the apron. He challenges Boss to come out and says the system can no longer protect him. Nailz boots Scott off the apron and says he's not leaving until Boss gets out here. We then go to break.

We return and The Undertaker comes out for his match with Nailz still in the ring. Taker gets in the ring and stares down Nailz. Nailz has spit all over his mouth. Sgt. Slaughter comes down to ringside and tries to tell Nailz to go. Nailz eventually goes. Nailz heads to the back and we see Taker's face staring back at him on the tron.

The Undertaker vs Jason Helton

Jason tries to hit Taker from behind. Taker catches him then chokeslams him. Taker hits a tombstone with his jacket still on and gets the pin.

Thoughts: This was a quick one even for Superstars standards, but this was all about getting a Nailz/Taker program started.

Jason is put in a bodybag after.

WWF Event Center

Sean talks about the 11/7/92 Boston Garden show.

Razor Ramon asks who has the machismo now. He says he got two good legs and he's got all his gold. He asks what Macho will do. He says if he keeps talking about Razor, he will have no leg to stand on.

The Macho Man does a promo. He says Warrior told him in order to survive, you gotta believe in yourself. Macho says he believes in himself. He says Razor won't be able to weather the storm of The Ultimate Maniacs. He says Razor will fall to the ground if they fight. He says Razo is a half of a man.

Mr. Perfect and Vince McMahon talk to the Nasty Boys va the monitor. The Nasty's are the #1 contenders and say Jimmy Hart did it again. Knobbs says The Natural Disasters will get nastysized next week and says they will be the tag champs again.

Rick Martel vs Butch Banks

Rick is wearing a raincoat outfit with an umbrella. Rick hits an armdrag then an arm throw. Rick armlocks him then rolls him with the kimura. Rick armlocks him then hits a dropkick. Rick cartwheels then does jumping jacks.

Butch side headlocks him then Rick kneebreakers him. Rick stomps and kneedrops the knee. Rick then wins with the boston crab.

Thoughts: Butch got a move in atleast and took a rolling kimura on his head which looked like it hurt. It was all squash here though. Rick doesn't really have a program right now and I'm curious as to who is next for him.

Survivor Series Report

Gene talks the Survivor Series main event. Mr. Perfect, Razor Ramon and Ric Flair do a promo. Perfect says everyone points at them and says there goes survivors. Razor asks if Warrior and Savage think kneepads and sunglasses can protect them from them. He says they must be kidding. Ric says Warrior and Macho don't understand that cowboy hats and paint aren't what life is about. Ric says life is about money, being in the bigtime and surviving day to day. He says nobody does it better than the three of them.

Gene says he was invited to Paul Bearer's workshop next week. Gene announces The British Bulldog vs The Mountie for Survivor Series.

The Mountie and Jimmy Hart do a promo. Mountie says he's a former IC champ and the man who beat Bret Hart. He said he told Davey how to beat Bret and will beat Davey.

The British Bulldog does a promo. He says the only shock Mountie will feel is the one in his spine when Bulldog gives him his powerslam.

Gene announces Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels in a WWF Title match at Survivor Series. Shawn says he's born to live the good life and says you gotta be champ to live that. He says Bret has that life but it will be short lived as he will take the title from him.

Bret Hart does a promo. He says their match is now a title match. Bret says Shawn talks about being at the top of his game. Bret says you have to ask if you are gonna be good enough and he doesn't think so.

Papa Shango vs Victor Reeves

Papa backs up VR in the corner and clubs on him. He punches him in the gut then lariats him. Papa hits a big slam and gets in VR's face. Papa elbow drops him then does his shoulderbreaker to win.

Thoughts: It wasn't much of note with Papa winning quickly like usual.

WWF Event Center

Sean talks about the 11/7/1992 Boston Garden show.

Nailz does a promo. He says cages are for wild animals and crazy men like him. He then bangs on the cage in front of him.

The British Bulldog does a promo on Papa Shango. He says nobody will put a curse on him. He tells Papa to step in the ring with him as he's hungry and needs a big bone to chew on. He says he will chew Papa up in the middle of the ring.

Vince and Perfect talk about next week's show. Yokozuna debuts and The Nasty Boys fight The Natural Disasters.

The Natural Disasters do a promo. They say they will find out who the real Nasty Boys are. Quake says their nastysizing days are numbered and they aren't getting their tag belts.

Jimmy Hart says The ND's aren't fighting The Nasty's next week, they will fight Money Inc instead.

Overall thoughts: We got a lot of Survivor Series hype here and more of Perfect complaining about Flair losing the title to Hart. We got a Nailz vs Taker stare down. Yokozuna debuts next week and we don't know whether Money Inc or The Nasty Boys will get a title shot next week. As always, there wasn't much going on wrestling wise but Survivor Series is now mostly set and I'd expect more hype in the weeks to come. You don't really need to see this one.

WWF Superstars of Wrestling 10/17/1992

WWF Superstars of Wrestling 10/17/1992

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/03/wwf-superstars-of-wrestling-10101992.html

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/04/wwf-superstars-of-wrestling-10241992.html

We cut to last Monday in Saskatoon. Mean Gene is on the stage and brings out Bret Hart. Bret has the WWF Title with him in a shocking turn of events. Gene says Bret was born for this moment and day. Bret says this is the greatest moment of his whole life and says it's for all the people who still believe in the biggest dream. Gene says Bret paid his dues.

Bret says he dedicated his whole life to wrestling. Bret says he had his share of wins and losses. He says you wait your whole life time for that one chance and he had his chance. He thanks every wrestler he wrestled against as he learned so much. He said he wants to thank Ric Flair for stepping in the ring with him and giving him that chance. Bret says he wants to thank his friends, God and family. He says he's proud to be the WWF champ.

Thoughts: Oh 1992 WWF. This is yet another title change at a house show. There was no build to this and nothing to suspect Bret was going to become champ and yet now he is. Thankfully, this aired unlike some other title changes this year, though I think it was only shown on Coliseum Video.

Vince McMahon and Mr. Perfect talk. Vince says it's a glorious occasion and confirmed Bret won the title in Saskatoon. Perfect says he never heard of Saskatoon. He said he advised Flair not to take the match but he did anyway. Perfect said Flair was sick before the match and he begged him not to take it. He says the rest is history. Vince smirks and Perfect threatens him. Perfect says on any given night, one star can beat another. He said Bret had his and Flair will become champ once he faces him again.

Shawn Michaels vs Steve Gillespie

SM takes down Steve then slaps his back. SM side headlocks him. SM slides between his legs and punches him. SM flying back elbows him. SM hits a standing dropkick. SM chinlocks him.

SM hits a punch flurry in the corner. SM rubs Steve's face on the mat. Steve misses a corner charge then SM top rope diving lariats him. SM superkicks him then backdrops him for the win.

Thoughts
: It was all squash as usual with Shawn winning as expected. Shawn's offense looked good here.

Tatanka vs. Brian Jewel

Tat side headlocks him then shoulders him over. BJ misses a shot and is chopped. Tat powerslams him then hits a normal slam. Tat elbow drops him. Tat hits a suplex. Tat lariats him then wristlocks him. Tat legdrops the arm.

Tat does his war dance and chops him. Tat hits a jumping chop. Tat hits a top rope chop to the head. Tat samoan drops him for the win.

Thoughts: It was mostly all chops here with Tatanka winning with ease. Tatanka moved well as usual.

WWF Update

Lord Alfred Hayes hosts this weeks Update which is different. Hayes talks about Bret winning the WWF Title. He says everyone is congratulating him. The Ultimate Maniacs talk. Macho says too bad for Flair and Warrior gives the thumbs up. Macho says they've been down and made the comeback. Macho says they are the people they say they are. Warrior says riding the line between being a lunatic and a maniac is hard to describe. He says Flair better not be in pity and says Razor better see what kind of man he is. Warrior says him and Macho have a bond that can't be broken. Macho says he will see Flair and Razor at Survivor Series.

Razor Ramon, Mr. Perfect and Ric Flair do a promo. Perfect says Hart being champ doesn't sit well with them. Perfect says there's only one real champ and it's Flair. Flair says things are off-kilter. He says they stand by when this happens to offer up the cure. He says Bret has fueled the fire. Flair says they will climb the big ladder in the sky if they have to in order to get the recognition they want.

Razor says some people love to be in the spotlight and they fit that description. Razor tells The Maniacs to gear up as they will take their frustrations and anger and bring it to Survivor Series to give to them. Flair says anxiety is the top health problem in the US. He says you can imagine what he's dealing with. He says he's used to being #1. Flair says to look at them as they are coming to get them.

The Big Boss Man vs Barry Horowitz

Barry escapes a lock-up and pats himself on the back. Barry forearms him then slides out. Boss chases him and facekicks Barry. Boss wind-up punches Barry then does a right hook. Boss Man does an inset promo. He says Nailz reign of crime and terror will come to a halt. He says he's glad Sarge is helping out and he's not the only man enforcing law and order in the WWF.

Boss leg lariats Barry on the ropes and bangs his face off the mat. Boss punches Barry in the mouth. Boss sidewalk slams Barry and wins.

Thoughts: It was a squash here. Barry got a few shots in and Boss was pretty rough with him here.

Boss handcuffs him to the ropes after.

Vince talks about Bret being champ and says it sounds great. Perfect knocks Vince's headset off and tells him to shut up. He says Flair will get his title back.

WWF Event Center

Sean Mooney talks about the 11/7/92 Boston Garden show.

Money Inc do a promo on The Natural Disasters. Hart says they don't care what it takes and will get their tag belts back. IRS says The ND's will find out every tax cheat pays when they get caught. Ted says when a man gets caught cheating taxes, he pays with interest. He says The ND's will do that and they will take the interest out of their bodies.

The Natural Disasters do a promo. Typhoon says they are used to getting what they want. Ty says not to let their mouths write a check they can't cash. Quake says the stakes are always high against The ND's. Quake says it's not just about the titles, it's about pride and honor and they will take all of Money Inc's.

Crush does a promo on The Berzerker. Cruz says he's focused on getting to the top of the WWF and needs to take on the most dangerous and crazy like Berz. He says he will see him soon.

The British Bulldog vs. Jim Peterson

Davey shoves him twice off the lock up. Jim is actually bigger than Bulldog is. Jim side headlocks him and they shoulder battle. Davey hiptosses him then armdrags him. Davey knee drops the arm. Davey suplexes him.

Davey chinlocks him then hammerlocks him. Jim hits chest forearms. Davey hits a corner lariat. Davey running powerslams him and gets the pin.

Thoughts: As usual, Davey let his opponent get a thing or two in before winning. It was nice to see someone who actually looked like a possible threat for a change.

We get a video on Bob Backlund. They push him as a gifted athlete and a family man. thye say Bob is giving up his construction business to return and we see him doing construction work. He says heh as to do what he has to do and it's return to the WWF.

Survivor Series Report

Mean Gene talks about Survivor Series 1992. He calls Flair "the most unhappiest man in the WWF today". A coffin match between Kamala and The Undertaker has been announced. Gene says you need to pin or submit your opponent then put them in a coffin.

The Undertaker and Paul Bearer do a promo. Paul asks if Kamala's crew understands the loser will go into a casket and says Kamala will. Taker says Kamala ran and hid and now must run to the ring. He says he will be pushed out in a coffin.

The Natural Disasters team with The Bushwhackers vs Money Inc and The Beverly Brothers. Gene says once one man from his team is eliminated, the other is as well. The ND's and The BW's do a promo. Ty says they can't wait for Survivor Series. Quake says Money Inc may know their gameplan but you never know what a BW will do. The BW's talk and say the heels will be a bush disaster.

Thoughts: I don't get why this the 8-man isn't a traditional Survivor Series match. It doesn't make a lot of sense and just seems like it's Vince way of getting rid of the Survivor Series concept.

Money Inc. (Irwin R. Schyster & Ted DiBiase) vs Bob St. Laurent & Jim Powers

Money Inc comes out and The Natural Disasters photo with the titles is on the tron. IRS talks before the match. He says 1992 is an election year and says he's sure some of the people are confused who they will vote for. IRS says he will vote for the candidate who raises the taxes the most.

IRS bangs Jim's head off the buckles and punches him. Jim hits him in the gut then knee lifts him. Jim sunset flips IRS for 1. Ted elbows Jim's arm then wristlocks and hammerlocks him. Ted forearms and chops him.

Jim crossbodies him for 2. Ted wristlocks him and gets reversed. The Beverly Brothers and The Genius do an inset promo. Beau says they and Money Inc are the two top high pressure teams in the WWF. Blake says they can guarantee The ND's and The BW's won't survive.

IRS yanks on Bob's leg then Bob gets his legs split. Ted elbow drops the leg. Ted powerslams Bob. IRS flying lariats Bob and wins.

Thoughts: It was all squash and went a little long here. I was hoping Jim would get a bit more in.

WWF Event Center

Sean hypes up the 11/7/92 Lowel Memorial Auditorium show.

Razor Ramon does a promo on Macho Man. He says now Macho is part of The Ultimate Maniacs. He says Warrior gave him an elbow pad and Macho gave him some sunglasses. Razor says he doesn't get it and asks if he's supposed to be scared. He says he's the one who snapped Macho's leg, took his gold and took his machismo.

Macho Man does a promo. He does a poem. He says this is Macho talking to him. He says Razor brought him down but Warrior told him to believe in himself. He says he will have to do all that he can to survive. Macho says he is The Macho Man and Razor is not. Macho says the seconds are ticking away but when he gets him, he will beat him.

The announcers then talk about next week's show. They say more Survivor Series matches will be announced.

Overall thoughts: We got big news on this one with Bret Hart winning the WWF Title out of nowhere. There was nothing that would lead you to suspect that would happen and Bret wasn't even feuding with Flair at the time as he was feuding with Papa Shango. We also got some new Survivor Series matches announced along with the usual predictable squashes. There wasn't a lot else to this and outside of Bret winning the title, there wasn't a lot of other news here. I wouldn't recommend this one.

WWF Superstars of Wrestling 10/10/1992

WWF Superstars of Wrestling 10/10/1992

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/03/wwf-superstars-of-wrestling-1031992.html

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/03/wwf-superstars-of-wrestling-10171992.html

We open the show to Mean Gene talking about Survivor Series. He says the main event will be Razor Ramon and Ric Flair vs The Ultimate Warrior and Macho Man Randy Savage. Gene talks about the history of the two teams. He calls it the greatest match-up in Survivor Series history.

Razor Ramon does a promo on the tron. He says if Macho wants some of Razor, he doesn't have to wait until Survivor Series.

Thoughts: The match makes sense but it does mean we are again going away from the 4v4 Survivor Series format. I definitely do not thing it's the greatest match-up in Survivor Series history.

Razor Ramon vs Steve May

Razor yells at the ring attendant not to mess with his jewelry. Razor hits punches on May then hits a hard slap. Razor catches May's crossbody and fallaway slams him. Perfect says he has never seen it before. Razor abdominal stretches him while pulling on the leg. Razor hits a big nodowa otoshi. Razor hits a hard 2nd rope backdrop. Razor then hits the razor's edge to win.

Thoughts: It was all squash as usual here. Steve got nothing in and was Razor beat him up pretty good.

Vince McMahon talks about the line-up for the rest of the show. Perfect talks about the Survivor Series main event. Vince says Flair and Ramon won't survive Survivor Series.

Max Moon vs Jerry Fox

This is Max's first appearance under the Max Moon name....and of course Fink calls him "Maximillian Moon".

Max rolls at him and Fox is concerned. Fox is monkey flipped and Max hits dropkicks. Fox takes a big bump out and bangs his face off the apron. Vince says Max reminds him of Mr. Perfect. Max gordbusters Fox.

Max boots Fox out of the corner then 2nd rope twisting bulldogs him. Max spinning knees him. Vince says Jack Tunney said the officials will be more assertive. Max rolling sentons Fox. Max hits a corner lariat then snapmares him. Max hits a spinning heel kick in the corner then finlay rolls him to win.

Thoughts: Like last week, Max's offense isn't the best. It's clear to me he was told to be a high flying/lucha guy and is trying to figure out exactly what that does. Max hit some nice dropkicks and Fox's bump off of them was nice.

WWF Event Center

Sean shills the 11/7/92 Boston Garden show.

Nailz does a promo behind a cage at Big Boss Man. He says cages are for wild animals and crazy men like him. He says he will finish him off once and for all in the cage.

The Natural Disasters do a promo. Quake says he doesn't know how Money Inc always gets the title matches. Quake says it's one more match but they will remain the champs. Typhoon says they will gaurantee them a beating.

Money Inc and Jimmy Hart do a promo. Hart says they want the WWF Tag Titles back. IRS says if they think they can get away with stealing from them, they are mistaken. IRS says no one steals from them. Ted says you don't write checks you don't have the money to back up. Ted says they are coming to foreclose on them.

High Energy (Owen Hart and Koko B Ware) vs Brian Jewel and Ken Johnson

Owen's more famous piano theme is being used here for High Energy.

Brian side headlocks Koko. Koko leapfrogs and armdrags him. Koko then dropkicks Ken. Owen chops Brian over. Owen then lariats him. We are told Sgt. Slaughter is now hired to enforce the rules in the WWF.

Owen hiptosses Ken then back body drops him. Owen trips Brian and hammerlocks him. Brian takes a double back elbow. Koko monkey flips Brian. Brian takes a big back body drop. Owen hits euros on Brian. Brian is held in the air for a top rope Koko dropkick. Owen then picks up the pin.

Thoughts:
It was a good squash for High Energy with them moving well and doing nice double teams. The jobbers did a nice job of bumping for them. Sarge being the new Enforcer is interesting and probably means the end of his in-ring run in the WWF.

Nailz vs Eric Freedom

Nailz grabs Eric and throws him out. Nailz makes Fink give him the mic. Nailz says he came out here for one reason and asks where The Big Boss Man is. He tells him to come out if he has any guts. Nailz boots Eric from the apron. Nailz ask where Boss is and says he will beat him until he can't even walk. And then we cut away and that's it.

Thoughts: Wow, Nailz topped himself here wasting our time even more so than usual.

WWF Event Center

Sean talks Sarge being the new enforcer.

We see clips of Razor and Macho's history. Macho Man does a promo He says he wants Razor to listen to him. He says Razor wants to give him machismo lessons but he knows what he's all about. He says him and all the Ultimate Maniacs will bond together as one. He says he has a heart bigger than Razor does. He says he's one half of the Ultimate Maniacs and that's all that he is. Macho says he's gonna beat Razor.

Lance Cassidy vs Tom "Rocky" Stone

I do not remember Lance Cassidy being in the WWF at all. He was Steve Armstrong in WCW. They lock up. Tom blocks a go behind. LC armdrags him twice then armlocks him.

Tom elbows and punches him. LC hits a leapfrog then back elbows him. LC dropkicks him out. Lance blocks Tom's boot then armdrags him into an armlock. Tom hits corner spears on LC. Tom misses a corner charge and is sunset flipped for 2.

LC armlocks him. Tom hits a hard elbow to the gut and punches him. Tom goes up top then is thrown down, nearly doing a header. LC hits a punch and kick flurry in the corner. LC back body drops him. LC hits a top rope crossbody and wins.

Thoughts: Lance didn't truly get to show off here like he should have and Tom didn't exactly nail the flow for this one.  I'm a big Steve Armstrong fan so it's nice to see him.

Mean Gene Okerlund interviews Sgt. Slaughter. Sarge says he has his eyes focused on a lot of things. He says there will be law and order in the WWF.

Bob Backlund has an article in the newest Superstars magazine. We then see clips of Bob. Bob talks about how he will fit in the WWF. He says he will have more notoriety than ever before because he's just him.

Kamala vs Kevin Kruger

Harvey Wippleman does the intro for Kamala as usual. The Undertaker talks on the tron and says Kamala will rest in peace.

KK hits Kam from behind. Kam no sells it and head chops him. Kam chops him and chokes him. Kam drops him throat first on the top rope. Kam then stands on his back. Kam double throat thrusts him and splashes his back. Kam then pins him.

Thoughts: It was a short squash here with Kam no selling KK's offense.

Paul Bearer wheels a casket down after and Kam panics. Kam runs and escapes through the crowd.

We get a Survivor Series '92 ad.

Bret Hart vs Bill Jordan

They lock up and Bret side headlocks him. Bret shoulders him over then hiptosses him. Bret running lariats him out of the ring. Bret hits punches in the corner and atomic drops him.

Bret chinlocks him then legdrops him. Bret stomps him in the gut and elbow drops him. Bret hits a russian legsweep. Bret 2nd rope elbow drops Bill. Bret hits a headbutt and rakes Bill's face on the top rope. Bret backbreakers him then back elbows him.

Bret hits another headbutt then submits him with the sharpshooter.

Thoughts: It was a longer squash with Bret roughing up Bill a bit. Bill wasn't moving too well here.

WWF Event Center

Sean hypes up the 11/7/92 Boston Garden show.

Crush does a promo on The Berzerker. He says he's dangerous but Crush says he's focus on being on top of the WWF. He says that means he has to take on the most dangerous and crazy. He says he will get as crazy as him and is ready to take him on.

Papa Shango does a promo. He says the world of voodoo is a mystical world. He says there's pain and suffering. He says he will make Bret his personal zombie. He says Bret is stepping into the ring with his worst nightmare. We then see some flames.

Vince and Perfect talk about next week's show. We see Kamala flipping out in the back after seeing the casket.

Overall thoughts: It was a better episode than usual as we had some noteworthy moments here. We now know the Survivor Series '92 main. We saw Lance Cassidy's debut. We saw Sgt. Slaughter become the WWF Enforcer. They pushed Taker/Kamala more and a match ended without an ending as Nailz wanted to fight Boss Man instead of his partner. There was nothing must see here but I liked the episode and thought it moved along faster than most of these shows do.
