MLW Fusion 6/6/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/05/mlw-fusion-5302026.html

We are in Chicago, IL. Joe Dombrowski and Tom Lawler are on commentary.

Killer Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux some out with smoke and sparklers going off. Kross says a lot of people in this position would talk about themselves. He says the world changes on some people and they feel like they have nothing left. Kross says he's living proof that you shouldn't give up on yourself. He says sometimes people can barely afford to get tickets to wrestling shows but they find a way and show up. Kross says those people make sacrifices and they get it.

Kross says everyone is here to compete for the fans and it's about wrestling at its core. He says he knows its a lot of people's first show and first time seeing MLW and he says, "welcome to the new beginning".

The commentators talk about the line-up for today's show.

Thoughts:
I'm pretty sure the title change mostly happened because it's a newer show and they wanted a title change to make it more exciting. The execution could have been better at times but it wasn't a huge problem. There wasn't a big story and it was basically face vs face. I would say the action was okay and it probably went about as good as it was going to go. It was acceptable.

Tom Lawler interviews Shotzi in the ring after. She says the building is shaking as they just went to war. Shotzi says she's exhausted, fired up and on top of the world right now. She says Shoko is a monster and one of the best in the world. She says she left it all in the ring and took the title. She says now that she has gold, it's time she hunted monsters.

We get a video on Mistico.

Mistico vs Diego Hill

Mist enzugiri's him from the apron. Mist top rope crossbodies him then flying headscissors him. Mist topes him outside. Mist elbow drops him for 2. We see Don Gato watching on a throne. Mist slams him. Mist 2nd rope swantons him for 2. Mist misses a corner charge and Hill springboard spin kicks him in the face. Hill 2nd rope corkscrew legdrops him for 2.

They trade forearms. Hill drops him with a chop. Mist spin kicks him in the gut. Hill pump kicks him. They then double boot each other down. Hill enzugiri's him. They go on the buckles and Mist top rope spanish flies him. Mist canadian destroyers him. Mist top rope splashes Hill and pins him.

Thoughts: It was acceptable but not much else. Hill wasn't a heel here and it was more of a high flying match than the usual Mist face vs heel match. Mist didn't get a great comeback here and this wasn't exactly an Arena Mexico crowd. Hill had one of his cleaner nights. Mist picked up the win as expected.

Mist says it's an honor to face a youngster like Hill. Mist says Hill earned his respect and he thanks him. Mist says Hill has one of the greatest teachers in Blue Panther and says Hill was one of the best in MLW tonight. They then shake hands. Mist then starts a "Diego" chant.

Rich Boccini interviews Austin Aries. Aries is throwing autographed tortillas into the crowd. He says the fans can soak up cerveza with it. Aries tells Rich to call him, "The One, The Only, Austin Aries". He says he understands why Rich has been fired more times than Ric Flair has been married. Aries says Mistico beat him once and he fluked his way to a win during it. He says he will rectify the loss when the time is right.

Aries says he has his eyes focused on Blue Panther. He says Blue holds the National Openweight Title and that's a title he wants around his waist. Aries says Blue isn't here to help Hill but to hold him back. Aries tells Blue to teach Hill that he still has cojones and tells him to put his title on the line against him. He says Hill should be ringside for the match so he can see that Blue Panther isn't nothing.

We see clips of KUSHIDA and Okumura beating up Alan Angels in the back. Okumura yells "CONTRA".

We see two guys hanging out at Arena Coliseo Guadalajara and talking about Don Gato. They film some wrestlers practicing lucha.

We get a video on Mads Kruegger. They say no one has seen him since Battle Riot and wonder if CONTRA got rid of him.

Rich Bocchini tries to interview Alexander Hammerstone in the back. Rich asks his thoughts about Riddle vs Kross. Hammer says they are fighting for his title. He says the match should be a sell out and says he should make an appearance there. He grabs Rich and says Rich should get him booked. Hammer makes him walk with him and says let's see what they can do.

MLW Tag Titles - Tables Match - The Skyscrapers (Donovan Dijak and Bishop Dyer) (c) vs The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows)

They fight starts as The Sky's come out. Doc is sent into the post. Dyer is sent into the rails. Doc throws a chair at his head. All four fight in the crowd. Doc boots Dyer in the stands then Dyer punches him there. Dijak is sent into a trash can then Karl hits him with the trash can.

Dijak is sent into the post. Doc throws a chair at Dyer's head. 4 tables are put in the ring. Dijak sends Doc into the post. Dijak superkicks Karl. We go to break and return. The Sky's set up tables in the corners. Doc has a chair thrown at his head and Tom Lawler ends up catching it. Karl is dropped gut first on the rails.

Doc is bleeding heavily. Karl fights off his opponents in the ring. Dijak facekicks Karl off the apron. Doc comes in and hits shots on Dyer and Dijak. Doc takes a double chokeslam through a table.

Karl pump kicks Dijak off the apron. Dyer pump kicks Karl. Dyer charges at Karl and Karl sends him through the table. Either Dijak or Karl has to go through a table for this to end.

Karl and Dijak trade shots. Karl pump kicks him. Dyer trips Karl. Dijak throws Karl into a table in the corner and wins.

Thoughts: The ending was a little lame but it was one of The Good Brothers better matches. All they really do is throw punches and when they could bleed, use weapons and go around the arena, it became a little more exciting. It wasn't anything great but was an okay main event. Doc bled to the point that he looked like The Red Skull at times here. Tom Lawler nearly got hit with a chair.

The two teams keep fighting after. They fight outside. Dyer and Karl fight in the apron while Dijak and Doc go in the crowd.

We get a short package on Riddle vs Kross for next week to close the show.

Overall thoughts
: It was an okay show. Shotzi/Shoko was acceptable and probably about as good as it was going to be. Hill/Mistico was also accepted. The main was okay with them bleeding, brawling around the arena and going through tables. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 overall though there was nothing must see here. I'd say the main was the best bout on this.
