Joe Dombrowski talks about MLW's history.

Priscilla Kelly vs. Zamaya

Zam shove her down off the lock up then throws her off he waistlock. PK hits forearms and Zam slams her on a crossbody attempt. PK high kicks her from the apron and top rope crossbodies her for 2. PK dropkicks her then springboard basement dropkicks her. PK basement dropkicks her over the bottom rope.

PK kicks her off the apron and cannonballs her off the apron. Zam blocks a buzzsaw kick and lariats her down. Zam sitout double arm chokeslam bombs her and pins her.

Thoughts: I was surprised it didn't go longer. They definitely tried to put Zam over here and it did work. They had tons of camera cuts during this as this is a smaller venue and they didn't want you to see how small it is.

Rich Bocchini tries to interview Zamaya after. He says she should be feeling confident right now. Zam gets in his face and says nothing before leaving.

They talk about the CMLL and MLW relationship and say Fantastica Mania USA will be on Fusion soon.

Rich Bocchini interviews Austin Aries. Aries says Fantastica Mania wouldn't be fantastica without him. He says as long as he holds the MLW National Openweight Title, he will be on every show. 

Aries says he will take his title around the world and make it the World Openweight Title. He says he is announcing an open challenge against anyone. Diego Hill comes in. He says he will challenge him to shut him up. Hill says let's do it right here and right now. Aries asks if he forgot what he did to Blue Panther. He says Mistico has been ducking him. He says Hill has talent and potential, but he's 2-3 years away from being ready to face him. He tells him to go think about his life decisions before he regrets it. Hill says there could be 2 options here - he says he could say he is right or he could use knocking him out right now. Hill then spin kicks him in the face.

They talk about LaBron Kozone being signed to MLW. We see him and Satoshi Kojima talking. Kojima says Stan Hansen taught him the lariat and he will teach LaBron it. Kojima shows him a tree and practices lariats on it. LaBron then hits lariats on it. We get some special effects and Kojima cheers him on as he lariats the tree.

Paul Hauser vs Bryce Cannon

Paul has dropped the "Walter" part of his name.

Paul gives him the up yours sign and BC taunts him. Paul side headlocks him then shoulders him over. BC jumps up and is atomic dropped. Paul superkicks him in the head then sentons him for 2. Paul hits chops in the corner.

BC step up enzugiri's him. Paul throws him down backwards by the hair. Paul fisherman suplexes him. Paul spinebusters him. Paul texas cloverleafs him and submits him.

Thoughts: It was a short squash and not much of note here. I'm not sure how much I buy Paul as a legit threat to anyone due to his look.

They talk about the upcoming MLW Southern Crown Title. They say there will be a match for the title next week.

We get a video on Don Gato and his tequila.

They do a video and say Bishop Dyer is in a contract dispute with MLW. Rich Bocchini says Dyer is playing hardball and is asking for new cars and for MLW to invest in his coffee business. Rich says this could end the title reign of him and Dijak. Rich says Court Bauer will make a decision on this next week.

They say there will be an MLW Fusion episode on July 4th. It has Karl Anderson vs Dijak, Teddy Long and they say a Southern Crown champ will be crowned next week.

MLW National Openweight Title Match - Austin Aries (c) vs. Diego Hill

AA spits on Hill. AA shoves him and rides his back. Hill armdrags him and rolls him on the mat. Hill dances in the ring when AA goes out. AA side headlocks Hill. AA shoulders him over then ear calps him. AA side headlock takeovers him. AA handstands out of a headscissors and low dropkicks him. 

Hill side headlocks him then shoulders him over. Hill flips over him and dances. Hill dropkicks him and dances more. Hill goes for a dive but lands on his feet. AA goes for a low dive and Hill enzugiri's him as he goes for it. Hill goes for a springboard and is hit. AA boots him in the corner. 

AA rakes his face with his feet. AA 2nd rope diving euros him in the back of the neck for 1. AA hits him in the gut then hits punches. They trade forearms. AA knees him in the gut and chops him. Hill spinning back elbows him then superkicks him over. Hill running kicks him in the corner and low dropkicks him in the corner.

Hill top rope diving elbow drops AA for 2. AA backdrops him. AA corner dropkicks him. Hill os cutters him for 2. Hill top rope 450's him for 2. Hill is pushed into the ref. AA hits Hill with the title belt from behind. AA brainbusters him on the title and pulls him up on the pin attempt. AA does his last chancery but lets go of Hill. Hill is out and AA brainbusters him. AA pins him by kneeling on him.

Thoughts: It was one of Hill's best bouts. He hit all of his stuff clean and came off looking good. It was a fun bout and AA put over that he was teaching him a lesson here. Aries really is a step above most wrestlers right now and it's a shame only MLW is using him.

AA stands on Hill after. He says let this be a lesson learned the hard way. AA says he's still the man. He says he can't get Mistico's attention and asks if he has it now. 

CONTRA Unit hijacks the feed. They said Mads Krule Kruegger was given mission and purpose and he rejected it. They said he defied Contra and says Mads says he was done taking cash as a mercenary. 

Alexander Hammerstone comes out before the main event and poses. He comes to the commentary table. He says he doesn't know why they waste air time promoting guys who are below him. 

Trevor Lee vs. Matt Riddle

Matt waistlock takedowns him then Lee does the same. Matt rolling armbars him and Lee cradles him. Lee armbars him and Matt ropebreaks. Matt side headlock takeovers Lee. Lee headscissors him. Matt ducks a buzzsaw kick and they stand off.

Matt hits chest kicks in the corner. Lee armdrags him into an armlock. Lee atomic drops him and chest kicks him down twice. Matt bodyscissors takeovers Lee over the top. Matt PK's him from the apron. Matt then gets in Hammerstone's face.

We go to break and return. Matt forearms him then fisherman suplexes him for 2. Matt chops him in the corner. Matt suplexes him. Matt kicks him and chops him. Matt hits running forearms and exploders him. Matt PK's him and sentons him for 2. Matt armbars him. 

Lee rolls up Matt for 2. Lee kicks him out of the corner. Matt knees him in the face. Lee standing spanish flies him as Matt runs at him. Lee lariats him over the top and PK's him from the apron. Matt pop up powerbombs Lee then pumping knees him for 2. 

Lee high kicks him. Matt flips out of a german and pumping knees him. Matt goes up top and Lee top rope germans him down. Matt puts the ref in Lee's way. Matt then rolls up Lee with the trunks and pins him.

Thoughts: It was an okay bout. It was competitive and mostly action focused without a great story to it. Matt won as expected here.

Matt argues with Hammerstone outside after. Hammer shoves him and Matt knocks him out with a uraken. 

Overall thoughts: Zamaya beat Priscilla Kelly quick. Hauser squashed Cannon. Aries/Hill was easily the match of the night. Hill had one of his best showings and they got the story over of Hill being a bit out of his league and Aries clowning him. Lee/Riddle was an okay main but nothing must see. We also had a fun segment with Kojima and Kazone lariating trees. There was no Contra Mercs unite segment as advertised on the graphic. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 as it was okay and they furthered some storylines here.
