Arena Puebla Tag Titles Eliminator Phase 2 - Asturiano and Makro vs Prayer and Rey Apocalipsis

Ast and Prayer go at it. Ast flips out of an armlock and armdrags him. Prayer armdrags him. Ast legdrops his leg. Ast trips him and armdrags him. Prayer throws him over by the arms and they trade some holds. 

Rey and Makro go at it. Rey flip him and armdrags him. Rey does an arm and leg hold. Makro armdrags him. Rey cobra twists Makro. Makro armdrags him and kimura's his arm. They chop each other, go to springboard at the same time and Mark 2nd rope armdrags him. Ast tope con hilos through the ropes. Prayer 2nd rope moonsaults.

Astur takes a codebreaker > backcracker > double stomp. Makro takes a suplex + backbreaker. Astur is held for shots. Rey throws Makro on the ramp and pounds on him. Prayer michinoku drivers Makro for 2. Rey pulls on Makro's mouth. Makro is held on the ropes for a pop-up la silla.

Prayer slams Astur. Makro flying headscissors Prayer. Prayer double lariats the faces. Prayer is sent out. Rey gets double teamed in the ring. Rey is double tripped into a basement dropkick and springboard splash for 2.

Everyone gets a shot in as all 4 men fight. Rey magic screws Astur then Marko backcrackers Rey. Prayer michinoku drivers Makro. All 4 men end up down. The heels miss corner attacks on Astur. Astur goes up top and swantons Rey outside. Makro dropkicks Prayer out then step up tope con hilos him outside. Makro takes an electric chair drop from Prayer then Rey asai moonsaults Makro to win.

Thoughts: This went way too long and was not a good choice for an opener. It definitely dragged and there just wasn't a lot of excitement.

Arena Puebla Tag Titles Eliminator Phase 1 - Meyer and Tiger Boy vs Sombra Diabolika and Sombra Diabolika Jr

Meyer and SD go at it. They do some basic holds. Meyer tries a pin on him. SD armdrags him then Meyer spinning reverse headscissors him from the mat. SD shoulders him over then they shove each other.

SDJ and TB go at it. SDJ flips him over his back and is armdragged. SDJ tries a pin off of it. TB armdrags him with the leg. TB armdrags him. TB does another armdrag and SDJ shoulders him over.

Meyer and SD get in. Meyer pulls him down by the hair then flying headscissors him. SDJ springboard bodyscissors him. TB gets in. He pump kicks SDJthen springboard diving armdrags him. SD comes back in. He walks up the ropes and diving armdrags TB out. D lariats Meyer on the apron after meyer kicks him. SDJ is back body dropped onto TB outside.

SD stomps Meyer on the ramp. SD slams him. Meyer is back body dropped in the ring. SD top rope dropkicks Meyer in the butt. SDJ chops down TB. TB is double hiptossed onto his face for 2. 

The faces take stereo corner attacks. The SD's are sent out. TB topes SD through the ropes and Meyer tope con hilos SDJ. SDJ is double spinebustered. SDJ is swept into a basement dropkick for 2. TB rolls up SD for 2. SD canadian destroyers TB for 2.

Meyer drops SD chest first for 2. Meyer takes a wasteland and SDJ top rope 450's him for 2. TB chops SDJ. TB knees him in the gut and leg lariats him. TB is double booted in the corner. Meyer is popped up top and he hurricanrana's SD down. TB top rope plancha's outside and Meyer top rope splashes SD to win.

Thoughts: It was an okay bout. The rudos could have been a little more effective though. The faces flew a bit and they kept me interested. It ended at the right time and this was a bit of a longer bout.

Tessa Blanchard, Lluvia and Skadi vs Sanely, Hera and Olympia

1st Fall - Skadi and Olym trade some submissions. Olym sunset flips her. Olym cartwheels and armdrags her. Skadi takes her down. Olym stomps her and Skadi is double booted in the corner. Skadi takes a double boot. The faces all get beaten up.

Lluvia takes running corner attacks. Lluvia is held in the air for a 2nd rope double knee drop from Sane. Tess takes corner attacks and a hanstand pendulum bronco buster. Olym tries to pin Tess, Tess totally kicks out but the ref counts it anyway. Olympia's team wins the fall.

2nd Fall - Lluvia is ganged up on and Sanely pulls her hair. Lluvia is held in the air for a springboard double stomp. Hera springboard splashes Lluvia. Hera 2nd rope assisted dropkicks Skadi. LLuvia is triple booted.

Tess is kicked in the leg. Skadi is triple stomped on. Skadi runs Sane over with a running euro. Skadi then springboard reverse double topes the heels. Olym takes corner attacks and Tess beats up Sane on the ramp. Skadi knees Sane in the gut then Lluvia dropkicks Sane in the butt. Tess apron crossbodies Sane outside. 

Lluvia is held in the air and Skadi rope walk springboard crossbodies them all over. Lluvia and Skadi dogpile for a pin. Skadi's team wins the fall. 

3rd Fall - Sane mises a corner charge and Lluvia bangs her face off the buckles. Lluvia pulls her down by the hair. Lluvia is put up top and she 2nd rope diving headscissors Olym. Lluvia flying headscissors Hera. Skadi and Olym go at it. Olym hits Hera on accidnet on a failed double team. Hera dropkicks Olym on a failed double team. Skadi double underhook backbreakers Hera. 

Tess wristlocks Sane and side headlocks her. Sane forearms her. Tess slaps her. Sane is booted in the head then Tess slingshot splashesher. Tess then slingshot splashes Sane and Hera together. Tess cutters Olym for 2. Sane michinoku drivers Tess. Sane headbutts Olym. Hera twisting fisherman neckbreakers Lluvia.

Skadi crossbodies Hera for 2. Olym samoan drops Skadi. Olym, Skadi and Tess all do roll up's at the same time. Tess tiger drivers Sane and pins her. Skadi's team wins the fall and match.

Thoughts: The 2nd fall was the best fall here. The third fall had a lot of miscommunications from the heels and the finishing stretch was weak. We oddly saw almost no dives here. This was just average.

Robbie X, Titan and Taiji Ishimori vs Barbaro Cavernario, Black Tiger and Soberano Jr.

BT and TI go at it. They trade holds and TI armdrags him. TI spinning reverse headscissors him from the mat. TI legsweeps him and they stand off. X and Barb go at it. Barb shoulders him over. X has a Titan mask on and Barb takes it off of him. X goes up and over Barb, sweeps him and gets swept. They try dropkicks at the same time.

Sob and Titan go at it. Titan spinning reverse headscissors him. X's team beats up up on the other team and TI foot chokes Sob. Everyone fights outside. Barb is stomped on by his opponents and X hits mounted shots on him. Barb's legs are split. 

Sob is held for a kick to the back then he is thrown out. BT is held for a kick to the inner thigh. X drops Sob with a gut shot. Barb escapes a triple team and dropkicks Titan. Sob top rope double crossbodies TI and X. BT double lariats TI and X. Barb tilt-a-whirl backbreakers Titan. Barb vader bombs all 3 opponents and gets a 2 count.

They go outside to fight again. TI is triple teamed in the corner and takes a double kick to the leg. Barb boots Titan down. Barb hits ataxia on Titan for 2. TI rolling death valley drivers Barb then superkicks him in the face. Sob rolls into a dropkick on TI.

Sob chops X and X drops him with a chop. Sob superkicks him. X handspring cutters him for 2. BT swinging neckbreakers X for 2. Titan and Barb trade chops. Barb slaps him. 

Everyone comes in to do a move one by one. Titan jumping back kicks Sob and everyone is down. X springboard corkscrew dives outside. Titan springboard crossbodies BT. BT dragon suplexes Titan for 2. Titan spin kicks BT in the face. Titan top rope double stomps BT and pins him.

Thoughts: It wasn't quite the high flying battle I had hoped for. They instead just kind of had a generic heel vs heel match here and it wasn't really the best they could have done. This was average.

El Phantasmo and Xelhua vs Templario and Okumura

Oku and Xel go at it. They trade some basic holds. Oku hiptosses him. Xel headflips out of a wristlock and armdrags him. Temp and ELP go at it. They trade forearms. ELP pump kicks him and Temp flying knees him. ELP dropkicks him. 

ELP walks up the buckles, does rope tricks and diving headscissors him. Oku and ELP trade shots. Oku flying lariats him. Xel top rope crossbodies Oku then armdrags him. Temp rope walk crossbodies Xel. Xel is tripped for a basement dropkick. ELP is sent into the side of the ramp. 

Xel takes a double back elbows and an Oku facekick. ELP takes corner attacks. Temp powerslams ELP and Oku sentons ELP. Xel is held for shots from Temp. ELP is pump kicked out. Temp back elbows Xel. 

Xel double lariats his opponents. ELP springboard double axe handles Oku and knocks both heels down. ELP atomic drops his opponents, bangs their heads together and double lariats them. ELP flying headscissors Oku then slingshot plancha's Temp outside.

ELP hits a top rope swanton then does an asai moonsault for 2 on Oku. Temp hits kicks on ELP. Xel tilt-a-whirl backbreakers both opponents. Xel slingshot plancha's Oku outside. ELP superkicks Temp then cut throat spinning torture rack neckbreakers him for 2. Oku cutters ELP. 

Xel flying headbutts Oku three times. Temp superkicks Xel and suplexes him. ELP top rope splashes Temp while he goes for a pin. ELP hurricanrana's Temp over the top. ELP top rope moonsaults Temp. Xel top rope crossbodies Oku. Oku bridging running cutters Xel for 2. Xel does a la rosa driver variation on Oku and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a random one but it worked out alright enough. They had some real different styles at play here but somehow were able to pull it together. 

Mistico and Mascara Dorada vs House of Torture (SANADA and Dick Togo)

Mist and Togo compete for cheers. Mist springboard diving armdrags Togo. Mist enzugiri's San off the apron. Togo begs off and San hits Mist. San then pounds on Mist. San chops Mist and foot chokes him. 

San tries to unmask Mist. Togo chokes Mist with a rope. The heels double stomp on Mist. Togo pulls on Mist's mask. Mist is then double teamed in the corner. Mist chops the heels but gets pounded on. San tries to unmask Mist on the ramp. 

Mist makes his comeback and flying headscissors Togo. MD top rope diving tornillo's San. MD and Togo fight. MD walks up the buckles, flips into the ropes and armdrags Togo out. MD corkscrew headscissors San out. Mist is stomped on by the heels. 

Mist hits a springboard double back elbow. 

Mist 619's Togo and springboard crossbodies San. Mist flying headscissors Togo out. Mist walks up the buckles and does a corkscrew diving armdrag on San. Mist and MD hit stereo topes out.

MD is double teamed by the heels. MD top rope double crossbodies Togo and San. Mist and MD try a double pin for 2. Mist and MD do stereo roll up's for 2 counts. The heelstry to pin the faces with their feet on the ropes but the ref catches them doing it.

Togo punches San on accident. Mist superkicks San. MD top rope 450's while Mist springboard swantons. Mist and MD pick up stereo pins.

Thoughts: It was average. We saw very little of MD here. The heels did basic heels and Mist didn't seem super excited here. 

The announcer then quickly closes the show.

Overall thoughts: The opener really dragged and set the tone for this one. The second match wasn't bad and ended at the right time. The women's match was average. Titan's match wasn't quite the high flying battle I thought it might be and was mostly heel vs heel stuff. The semi-main was random but worked. The main was average. I'd say maybe the 2nd match was the best match but that's not saying a lot. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 as it was an average show overall and felt a bit long.
