We are in Albuquerque, NM. Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness are on commentary.

AEW World Trios Title Match - The Conglomeration (Kyle O'Reilly, Orange Cassidy & Roderick Strong) (c) vs. The Opps (Anthony Bowens, Hook & Katsuyori Shibata)

RS and KS lock up. KS backs him up in the corner. Hook and Kyle get in. Hook boots him and side headlocks him. Hook trips him and they trade guillotines. Kyle chest kicks Hook and hits knees to the gut. Hook takes a backbreaker. OC is tagged in and he elbow drops Hook. 

Hook overhead suplexes OC. Bowens backdrops OC. OC puts his hands in his pockets. Bowens takes them out and makes OC clap. OC then puts his hands back in his pants. OC dropkicks Bowens. OC rolls up KS for 2. KS chops OC down. KS suplexes OC on the apron and holds on for a suplex on the floor.

We go to PiP break and return. KS sleepers OC. RS breaks it up. KS snapmares OC then facekicks RS off the apron. OC stunners KS. Kyle and Bowens come in. Kyle his kicks on Bowens and legsweeps him. Bowens hits kicks on him. Kyle ankle locks Bowens then Hook does a choke on Kyle while he does it. 

Kyle backdrops Hook. Bowens spinning forearms Kyle. Kyle hits a double lariat on the heels. RS and KS get in and trade chops. RS uranage backbreakers KS then half-nelson backbreakers Hook. RS uses OC as a wepon. KS superman punches OC and belly to belly suplexes RS.

KS STO's RS. KS and Kyle trade forearms. Kyle flying knees KS. Kyle chest kicks Hook and Hook exploders Kyle. OC spinning ddt's Hook. OC backslides Bowens for 2. Bowens ushigoroshi's OC and running knees him. 

Bowens hits a magic screw ddt on OC for 2. Bowens superkicks KS on accident. Bowens is pushed into Hook. Kyle axe kicks Bowens. OC superman punches Bowens. RS olympic slams Bowens. RS throws OC onto Bowens and OC pins Bowens.

Thoughts: I didn't like it. OC screwed around as usual. It had a slower pace to it and wasn't very exciting. The Opps also didn't really needed to lose here as they are lacking credibility.

The Demand do a promo. Ric says they are on a quest for gold. Toa says he's tired of waiting. The Letha Twist walk by. Lethal says he's just trying to get through. Ric says he likes Lethal's haircut and style. Lethal says he wanted to tell him the same thing. Ric says they should talk and Lethal agrees.

We see a Death Riders promo after Dynamite. Mox says Swerve made himself a target. He says Will will pull the trigger and hurt Swerve where it hurts the most. Will says this one is different with Swerve and Swerve will see how different he is. Will says this isn't his house and he's a squatter on his road to Wembley. Will and Garcia then shake hands and I think Garcia tells him to bring it home. 

AEW TNT Title Match - Kevin Knight (c) vs. Dezmond Xavier

KK boos Dez in the gut and side headlocks him. KK side healdock takeover Dez. Dez armdrags him. Dez gets a 2 count on him then shoulder throws him. Dez la magistral's him for 2. Dez enzugiri's KK from the apron then buckshots into a headscissors on him. 

KK slides out and stalls. KK rams Dez's back into the apron edge. Dez flips over the steps and KK flying lariats him off the steps. We go to PiP break, full break and return. KK knees Dez in the gut. Dez armdrags him. 

Dez hits a slap combo and cutters him. Dez superkicks KK in the corner. Dez 2nd rope tornado ddt's him for 2. Dez is on the 2nd rope and KK hurricanrana's him down. KK backbeakers him for 2. Dez's throat is pulled over the top rope.

Dez rolls up KK for 2 twice. KK dropkicks Dez. Dez hurricanrana's him. They trade forearms on their knees. Dez spin kicks him in the gut. KK hits forearms. Dez high kicks KK then slingblade bulldogs him. Dez meteora's him for 2. Dez topes him outside.

Dez goes for a spiral tap inside and KK gets his knees up. KK dropkicks him from behind. KK swinging urange's him and pins him.

Thoughts: It got a lot of time and was also a slower paced match. I was expecting a bit more flying and craziness. Kevin did win as expect. It was acceptable but not quite the junior dream match it could have been.

Thekla comes out with Julia Hart and Skye Blue. Thek says it makes her nice to see the companies play nice with each other. She says if she wants to fly to Japan and attack the Stardom president, she does. She says if she wants to destroy the forbidden door, she will light it on fire. Hart says the  war won't be fought alone. Skye says she faces Maika on the Buy In for Forbidden Door in a TBS Title Qualifier. She says she can't wait to show us what a violent little thing she is. Thek says Stardom, CMLL and NJPW built the forbidden door and will watch it burn.

Chris Jericho vs. JD Drake

CJ slaps JD and hits chops. They each hit forearms. JD knees him in the gut. JD back elbows him. CJ hits mounted corner punches. CJ hurricanrana's him down. CJ enzugiri's him. CJ top rope plancha's him outside.

CJ kicks him while he's down. CJ hits punches on JD. JD black hole slams him for 2. JD hits chops on CJ. JD corner splashes him. JD corner cannonballs CJ. JD misses a top rope moonsault. They trade chops. CJ rolls him up for 2. CJ codebreakers him. CJ running knees him. CJ crabs him and submits him.

Thoughts: It was short and random. They did what they could with it but it wasn't much of note.

Tony Schiavone gets in the ring. CJ crabs JD and makes Tony say that CJ is better than Tomasso Ciampa.

CJ says he's been looking for Ciampa but says he's not here. He says he wants to thank him for leaving him beaten and bloodied as he needed it. He says Ciampa won't want to thank him for what happens next. He says he will see him at Beach Break.

Divine Dominion and Thunder Rosa are interviewed. Rosa says she's not afraid of Divine Dominion. Lena says they don't care. Meg says how she feels is irrelevant and says it's about how she feels when they are done. Rosa says her and Olympia will fight hart until the last two standing. Lena makes a crack about them hiding their faces with masks and facepaint. Rosa says they have stupid hats and say they are people from swap meets. Meg tells her not to prepare for a match. Rosa asks if they are ready to fight and takes her shirt off. She tells them to hit her.

CMLL World Women's Title Match - Persephone (c) vs. Billie Starkz

Tony Khan poses with them for the pre-match photo. I have no idea how Billie got this title shot.

Pers backs BS up in the corner. BS trips her and does jumping jacks. Pers flying headscissors BS. Pers basement dropkicks her. Pers fallaway slams her. BS jawbreakers her over the 2nd rope. BS ddt's her on the apron. BS gets on the commentary table and swantons Pers' back on the floor. Pers is sent into the rails. We go to PiP break and return.

BS pulls Pers' arms back. Pers hits her in the gut and BS knees her in the gut. BS slaps her. Pers front suplexes her then back elbows her down. Pers bridges out of a lariat and superkicks BS in the gut for 2. BS kicks Pers from the backs. Pers backslides her into a bridge for 2. BS running knees her. 

Pers superplexes BS and BS hits oblivion on her. BS hits chest kicks. Pers overhead suplexes her for 2. BS misses a top rope swanton. Pers spears her. Pers hits a razor's edge on her and pins her.

Thoughts: Billie lost as expected. It got a lot of time to play out. I just thought it was acceptable only but it was one of Pers' better performances in AEW. This was very random.

Hikaru Shida comes out and hits Pers with a kendo stick. Shida half-straightjacket's Pers then pulls her leg towards her head. Kris Statlander, Queen Aminata and Harley Cameron come out to stop it. Kris Statlander, Queen Aminata, Persephone and Harley Cameron then all stare down.

Mike Bailey & Mistico vs. The Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari & Tony Nese)

Mike takes down Nese then chest kicks him down. Nese hits Mike from behind. Mike is double pounded on in the corner. Mike and Mist hit stereo flying headscissors. Mist is sent into the steps outside. Ari ddt's Mike on the floor. 

They get back in. Ari gets a 2 count on Mike inside. Ari chops Mike and Mike chops back. Mike is held for punches on the ropes. Nese forearms Mist down. Mike is held in the air for a ddt for 2. 

Mist hits a springboard double back elbow. Mist walks up the buckles and does a headscissors + armdrag takeover. Mike and Mist hit stereo topes outside. Ari pepsi twist lariats Mike. Mike sweeps Ari on the apron and triangle moonsaults outside. Mist springboard crossbodies Nese then la mistica's him. Mist submits Nese.

Thoughts: Mist and Mike won as expected and I was surprised it didn't go shorter. The faces flew a little. What we got was acceptable, but this was just filler.

Gabe Kidd does a video. He says he's thinking about what he will do when he comes back. He says he's at the mercy of the US government. He says Forbidden Door is an everyday thing to him and showing who is the best. Gabe says he's waiting for Shota Umino.

Jake Doyle vs. Adam Priest

Jake pushes AP down then throws him down. AP does push up's. Jake waistlock throws him. Jake hit corner spears. Jake suplex throws him. Jake hits running shoulders on AP and AP dropkicks him. AP dropkicks him again then Jake bodyblocks him. 

We go to PiP break, full break and return. AP euros Jake's arm and pulls it down over the top rope. AP diving tornado ddt's him. AP euros the arm and forearms him. Jake steps on his foot and forearms him down. AP armbars him.

Jake sitout powerbombs AP. Jake misses a corner charge. AP germans him. AP ddt's him for 2. AP comes off the top and Jake forearms him. AP cradles him for 2. Jake black hole slams him and wins.

Thoughts: I wasn't that interested in this. I like both guys, but the outcome wasn't in doubt and it took a long time to get there. Both guys could have been more effective here. Jake should have thrown him around more and AP should have been stiffer and shown more spirit.

Maya World does a video. She says she's been waiting her whole career to face Mercedes Mone. Mone says she knows she was on her poster. She says she's her boss. She says this is Maya's dream match but not her cinderella story. She says she spent her life making history while Maya spent her time trying to make it here.  Mone says dreams don't win titles but she does. 

Willow Nightingale does a video. she says the comeback killer needs to make a comeback of her own. She says being the best in subjective. She says she got comfortable but knows being the best is in her.

Athena & Mercedes Mone vs. Hyan & Maya World

All 4 fight. Hyan stomps Mone then throws Ath onto Maya's double knees. Hyan corner splashes both opponents then Maya running back elbows them. Maya is headscissored into a cannonball on both opponents. Maya and Hyan hit stereo topes outside.

Maya flying headscissors Ath and spinning heel kicks her. Mone pulls Maya down by the hair. Ath running facekicks Maya out. Mone knees Maya in the face. Maya takes a double suplex for 2. 

Mone chinlocks Maya. Mone dropkicks Maya in the gut for 2. Maya escapes a double team and tags in. Haya hits a double clothesline. Hyan running facekicks Mone then backdrops her for 2. The girls get on the apron and Han takes a one arm powerbomb there. Mone diving meteora's Maya off the apron outside.

We go to PiP break and return. Mone backcrackers Hyan for 2. Ath sentons Hyan for 2. Mone suplexes Hyan twice and Hyan cradles her. Mone misses a corner meteora. Maya comes in and flying dropkicks Ath. She step up enzugiri's her then running euros Ath in the corner. Maya rolls Ath into a double stomp for 2.

Maya is swept on the 2nd rope. Maya takes a backcracker for 2. Mone and Maya trade forearms. Maya knees Ath in the face. Mone facekicks Maya and Maya cutters her. Ath germans Maya. Hyan flying knees Ath. Ath 2nd rope diving o-face's Hyan and pins her.

Thoughts: Ath and Mone's team won as expected. Maya's team got some offense in before going down. They tried and it was acceptable but this didn't do a lot to sell me on Maya winning tomorrow.

Ath beats up Hyana after like she always does. Mone puts her in a crossface and Ath grabs a half-crab. Maya sends the heels out and asai moonsaults them.

Overall thoughts: I didn't like this show at all. It was basically nothing but random matches with predictable outcomes. This was the definition of filler and it was boring to sit through. There was also almost no starpower on this one. Dez/Knight was the match of the night. I'd give this a 4 out of 10 just for the complete lack of effort or care put into this show. This was below average.
