We are in Orlando, FL. Blake Howard and Peter Rosenberg are on commentary. 

Marcus Mathers and Sam Holloway talk. MM is excited about facing The Mog Squad. Sam says he saw what they did for months and it has been killing him. MM asks if he heard from Cap Jones and Sam says he hasn't. We hear a crash and Cap Jones is down with the Mog Squad in the background behind him. 

PJ Vasa vs Karmen Petrovic

They fought in the VIP Lounge last week which caused this.

PJ catches her crossbody. KP hits leg kicks. KP sunset flips her into a leg lock. PJ bangs KP's head off the mat. PJ side slams her then corner splashes her. PJ lariats her down for 2. PJ's head is banged off the mat. KP hits kicks on her. PJ kind of flips her out of the side slam but they make it seem like KP brought her down.

KP pulls PJ over the top rope. KP baseball slides her. KP topes her. KP hits kicks to the body then PK's her. KP low ddt's her. KP low corkscrew kicks her twice and wins.

Thoughts: It was a shorter one. PJ went down a bit too easy for me. It was almost all kicks here. KP could have done some of the non-kick moves a little cleaner. It was acceptable.

The Mog Squad talk in the back. CJ says it was light work to take out Cap. Santi jokes about them having the 3v2 tonight. Ball congratulates Elijah on winning last week. Ball says something about Elijah being scared and Elijah gets mad. Elijah tells them to say it again. The Mog Squad try to cool off the situation. Eli tells them to get out of his face before they break jaws.

Tristan Angels comes out to talk. He says he's the epitome of a star. He makes comments about Chazz "Starboy" Hall. Hall comes out. TA asks him what he's doing here and why he's hearing denim. Hall slaps him. They fight and Hall hurricanrana's him over the top. TA says this isn't the last of this and says Hall messed up now.

Sam and Mathers are on the phone with someone. Mathers says he has someone to take Cap Jones' place and he's pulling up.

It's GAL comes out for this open challenge. He says he will prove the flames didn't break him but minted the steel. He says the open challenge is on.

It's GAL Open Challenge - It's GAL vs Cutler James

Yep, Cutler James from NXT comes out. 

Gal dropkicks him and CJ shoulders him over. CJ side headlocks him. CJ bangs Gal's head off the buckles. Gal boots him out of the corner then armdrags him. Gal casadora armdrags him then spinning flying headscissors him. Gal lariats CJ over the top. CJ swinging backbreakers him on the floor. We go to break and return.

CJ hits corner spears. CJ short arm lariats him then gutbusters him for 2. CJ talks trash and slaps him. Gal hits forearms then single leg dropkicks him. CJ tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him then giant swings him. CJ pop up euros him for 2.

CJ chin and armlocks him. CJ whips him down by the arm then arm and chin locks him. CJ knees him in the gut then chinlocks him. Gal is thrown out. CJ misses a charge outside and goes into the post. Gal kicks him and hits punches. 

Gal corner enzugiri's him. Gal springboard dropkicks him for 2. Gal fireman's carry gutbusters him for 2. Gal spinning lariats him. Gal is caught coming off the top and CJ swinging backbreakers him. CJ whirlybird's him and pins him.

Thoughts: There were a ton of gutbusters and backbreakers here. The match was fine and pretty much all power. WWE's becoming Japanese with various people losing open challenges anymore. I can accept the Gal loss though as he's been kind of pushed as a dope. 

Chuey interviews Cutler after. CJ says he's here to take it all. He says this is a taste of what he's capable of. He says he will dominate every brand in WWE soon as he is undeniable. 

Braxton Cole does a promo on Harlem Lewis. He says he knows he's hurting after he attacked him last time. He says he pulled strings and got him a probational assistant janitoral role at one of his dad's properties. He says we have to make sure he has the ability to take care of these places. He says he got him his very own mop with an arm sling on it for the injury he gave him. He says, "enjoy your new reality you blue collar boy".

Thoughts: This was Cole's best segment yet and this was good.

Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno talk. Romeo is getting his ankle checked out. He says Harley and Kam are pain's in the butt and he needs him for a tag match against them. Dar agrees. That match will happen next week. 

Aaron Rourke, Marcus Mathers & Sam Holloway vs. The Mog Squad (Jacari Ball, Max Abrams & Santi Rivera)

Aaron Rourke is the mystery partner. CJ Valor is with the heels. The faces run in and everyone fights. The heels are sent out. Ball hits shots on MM and hits a bunch of elbows. MM slams Ball and elbow drops him for 2. AR comes in and dropkicks Ball. AR jawbreakers him into a neckbreaker for 2. 

Sani comes in and AR throws him down. MM flying forearms Sani then rolls him into a mule kick. AR rolling sentons Santi. Santi hits forearms on Sam. Sam facekicks him. Sam slams Santi then 2nd rope elbow drops him. 

Sam lifts AR into a dropkick on Max. AR and MM hit stereo topes outside. The faces pose. We go to break and return. MM top rope twisting crossbodies Santi. MM slams him. MM is up top and is enzugiri'd by Santi. CJ Valor sends MM into the post.

Ball backbreakers MM. Santi rolls into a neckbreaker over Ball's knee on MM. Max running legdrops MM for 1. Max stomps on MM. Ball hits gut shots on MM in the corner then Santi hits corner spears. Santi uppercuts MM.

Santi facebusters MM. Sam is tagged in and he hits a big spinebuster on Max. He facekicks Ball and flying lariats him. Sam double underhook supelxes Santi into the ropes. Max springboard kicks Sam. Sam is triple teamed in the corner. Ball flying corner lariats Sam. 

Max flying corner euros Sam for 2. Max gets on Sam's back with a sleeper. Sam back body drops Max onto Santi. AR hits back elbows and a superkick on Santi. AR standing blue thunders Ball then thesz presses Max with mounted shots. AR pump kicks Santi in the corner. AR hits a double dropkick off the buckles.

AR knees Max in the face. Sam suicide dives the heels outside. Sam hits a big sitout chokeslam on Santi for 2. Everyone starts hitting move. Max springboards and Sam dropkicks him. Santi bottom rope codebreakers Sam then leg lariats him from behind. MM breaks up the pin with a 450 off the buckles.

Max and AR trade shots. Max jumping knees him. AR is rolled into a spear on Max. MM tope con hilos out. CJ gets on the apron and MM flying forearms him. Max over the back fameassers MM and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a fun 6-man. We've seen these before and it was similar to those. We got a lot of action, lots of flying, a fast pace and then got a decent finishing stretch. These almost always work unless they go too far and this worked. Sam looked good here as he really slammed some of his opponents around. 

Max grabs AR's Evolve Title after and runs. 

Overall thoughts: It was a fun evolve. All 3 matches were at least acceptable and the main was the best match of the night. The main was your usual Evolve style trios match where they get enough time, give you some dives and keep things moving along. I liked the Braxton Cole segment. Tristan Angels' segment was a bit weak, but he does the right stuff. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 as it was good show and one of the better editions as of late.
