Blake Howard and Vic Joseph are on commentary.
Apollo Crews vs Kit Wilson
They say AC has a new look in his eyes. Kit gets some reactions as he comes out.
AC waistlock takedowns him. AC side headlocks him and shoulders him over. AC running back elbows him. Kit boots and euros him. Kit goes over the top and skins the cat in. Kit dropkicks AC then gyrates. AC delay suplexes him.
AC dropkicks him. AC misses a corner splash. Kit boots him in the corner. Kit stomps him in the corner. Kit neckbreakers him. AC hits some forearms. Kits thesz presses him and hits some mounted punches. Kit lariats him on the ropes then eye rakes him. Kit straightjacket chokes him and chokes him on the ropes. AC flying lariats him.
AC hits short arm lariats and a short arm shoulder. AC powerslams him for 2. Kit hits a rebound lariat. AC facekicks him then overhead throws him. Kit hits his new twisting ddt. Kit then top rope diving elbow drops him and pins him.
Thoughts: It was longer, slower and kind of boring at times. I suppose AC was the face here, but the crowd wasn't that into him and liked Kit more. AC made things look easy and hit a nice dropkick.
Maxxine Dupri vs Ivy Nile
They lock up and Ivy shoulderlocks her. Ivy wristlocks her. Max rolls, bridges and headflips out then wristlocks her. Ivy throws her down backwards then stomps on her. Max shoulders her over and rolls her up for 2. Max high kicks her.
Ivy running lariats her then bangs Max's knee off the mat. Ivy running knees her in the ribs for 2. Max is booted in the corner. Ivy flying chest kicks her and germans her for 2. Max cradles her for 2. Ivy fallaway slams her for 2. Ivy pulls Max's arms back.
Max ddt's her. Max hits forearms then lariats. Max pumping knees her. Max corner splashes her. Max fisherman suplexes her. Max step up legdrops her on the back of the neck. Max hits mmounted corner punches. Ivy powerbombs her. Max escapes an ankle lock and backrolls her for 2. Ivy dragon sleepers her. Max trips her and ankle locks her.
Max top rope crossbodies her and pins her.
Thoughts: It wasn't that good. There wasn't any great logic or anything and some of Max's offense didn't look the greatest. Ivy didn't bring a lot to this either. I can't say that surprised me.
We get some hype for The Royal Rumble.
Rusev vs Joaquin Wilde
Rusev pushes him and corner splashes him. Rusev hits punches and knee's him in the corner. Rusev's throat is pulled over the top rope. Rusev catches JW off the top. JW hits punches. Rusev blocks a sunset flip.
Rusev knees him in the gut and headbutts him. JW pop-up headscissors him then dropkicks him out. They fight outside. JW hits punches and is sent into the steps. Rusev elbow drops him for 2.
Rusev kicks him in the back. Rusev chinlocks him. JW hits shots to the gut. Rusev knees him in the gut. JW flips out of a backdrop and boots Rusev out of the corner. JW jawbreakers him. JW hits flying forearms and drops him.
Rusev catches his corner splash and overhead belly to belly suplexes him. Rusev overhead throws him. Rusev charges at him and JW holds his back. The ref checks on him then JW cradles Rusev for 2. Rusev misses a corner splash and JW rolls into a ddt on him. JW top rope splashes him for 2.
Rusev matchka kicks him. Rusev then camel clutches him and submits him.
Thoughts: It wasn't as good as it should have been. Wilde didn't' seem 100% here and didn't fly very much. Rusev missed a bunch of offense here and submitted Wilde with a camel clutch to his injured back. this went a bit longer than it needed to as well.
Overall thoughts: There were 3 matches here but none of them were that great. The crowd wasn't helping things along either. The main should have been better than it was and Wilde wasn't flying around as much as he usually does.. Max/Ivy wasn't that good. Crews/Wilson didn't botch but it was a longer and slower match and nobody really cared about Crews, and why should they? I'd give it a 4 out of 10 as it was a bit of a boring show and I wouldn't recommend it.

Ahh! The growing pains of being a rookie wrestling. I love those years because there's just something about seeing the development and progress that just gets you more emotionally invested in the performer. I'd be remised if I didn't say compared to when she first started to where she is now factoring in the amount of formal training and in ring experience, Maxxine has actually learned a lot in the last year. We're in that awkward phase now like when you're growing your hair out where this going to be a lot of experimentation, and integration of repetition and it'll seem like not much is changing or improving but give it about another 1-2 years, suddenly it'll look like she magically got really good. I'm not a teacher but I imagine that's how the learning process looks like to them. I think she's about over 60 matches in so far. At a high level, most people don't start getting fully comfortable until about the 200 mark tbh
