El Hijo del Pantera & Valiente Jr. vs. Infarto & Troglodita

Pant and and his partner try pins to start. Val hits a flying headscissors on Inf. Val side headlocks Trog then Trog side headlock takeovers him. Trog handstands out of a headscissors and they stand off. Pant top rope double crossbodies his opponents. Pant runs the 2nd rope. Val springboards in. He flips off of Pant then pops up Pant into a double dropkick on the heels.

Pant tope con hilos through the ropes then Val slingshots to the outside into a 2nd rope diving headscissors. Trog takes kicks to the face and a double stomp for 2. Pant handsprings and Infarto dropkicks him in the back. Trog does a nice springboard la silla on Pant for 2.

Trog springboard diving armdrags Val. Valk rolls on the top rope then springboard diving headscissors him. Val flips to the outside then Trog top rope plancha's him outside. Pant slides out and Infarto topes him.

Infarto chops Pant. Trog flying lariats Pant then Infarto wheelbarrow germans Pant for 2. Pant is popped up into a headscissors on Infarto. Trog is sitting on Pant's shoulders up top. Val springboard headscissors him down. Pant top rope swantons Trog and pins him.

Infarto double lariats the faces. Val top rope diving meteora's Infarto and Pant top rope splashes Infarto for the win.

Thoughts: It was a good opener. The faces did some creative flying and it was a quicker paced and exciting match. This was more of a face lead match than a heel lead match. I'd like to see more of Pantera and Valiente as a team.

Lightning Match - Titan vs. Yutani

Titan and Yut go at it. Yut yanks on the arm, Titan headflips and armdrags him. Titan dropkicks him to the ramp then pele kicks him. Titan takes a styles clash on the ramp. Yut tries to pin him with a foot on the chest. Yut hiptosses him. Yuta hits 2 dropkicks. Yut splashes and flipping legdrops Titan.

Titan trips him. Titan springboard crossbodies him. Titan dropkicks him out then topes him twice. Titant springboard splashes him for 2. Yut hits chops. Titan hits a strike combo then Yut pumping knees him. Titan jumping back kicks him. Yut hits a gori bombs on him for 2. 

Titan tornado ddt's him then superkicks him in the face. Yut 2nd rope superplexes him then flying knees him. Yut top rope frogsplashes him for 2. Titan hits kicks on Yut. Titan top rope double stomps him for 2. Titan sharpshooters him and Yu submits.

Thoughts: I liked it. It was a fast moving match. Titan hit a nice tope outside and they match well together. I wish there would have some kind of build to the finish though. 

NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Title Match - Los Hermanos Chavez (Angel de Oro & Niebla Roja) (c) vs. The World Class Wrecking Crew (Jorel Nelson & Royce Isaacs)

Roy and Roja go at it. Roy wristlocks him. Roja trips him then butt drops his leg. Roja bow and arrows him. Oro and Jor go at it. Oro side headlocks him. They collide with shoulders. Jor crossbodies him. Jor eye pokes him. Oro goes up and over then flying headcissors him outs. Roy then chest kicks Oro down. Roja dropkicks Roy. They botch a spot outside and Roja is suplexed on the apron edge.

Roy walks around the ring lifting Roja and suplexed him on the apron edge. Jor delay suplexes Oro. Oro takes corner attacks then a headkick + backbreaker. Roja forearms Jor to the apron. Roy forearms Roja. Jor pounces Roja. Jor hits mounted punches on Roja and kisses him. 

Roja hits shots on his opponents. Oro tags in. Oro pops up Roja into a double dropkick on their opponents. Oro and Roja then do stereo topes out. Oro slingshot swantons Roy then drops Roja into a legdrop on him. Jor is popped up into a kick then double superkicked. Roy hits a double lariat then Jor htis an os cutter. Roy pop-up germans Oro for 2. Jor tope con hilos Roja outside. Roy sitout powerbombs Oro for 2. Oro michinoku drivers Jor. Roy is 2nd rope dropped onto Jor.

Jor is hit with a double superkick. Roy is hit with a double dropkick. Oro 2nd rope moonsaults Roy outside. Jor top rope crossbodies Roja. Jor is hit with a spinebuster then Roja reverse rocking chairs him. Roja submits him.

Thoughts: I didn't think it was that good. They had a lot of issues working together early. It got a little better as it went on but never as good as it should have been. As always with CMLL tag matches, it was essentially a tornado tag match with everyone doing whatever they wanted. 

Barbaro Cavernario, Soberano Jr. & Volador Jr. vs. Atlantis Jr. & El Sky Team (Mascara Dorada & Mistico)

AJ = Atlantis Jr.

1st Fall - Barb hits shots on MD to start and drops him. Barb kicks him in the head then does a grounded cobra twist. MD armdrags him. MD spinning reverse headscissors him and kips up. Barb goes to the ramp. 

Mist and Sob go at it. Mist hits armdrags and a flying headscissors. Mist walks up the buckles, corkscrews and diving armdrags him out. Sob then sends Mist into the rails outside. AJ is thrown into MD's crotch inside. 

Barb corner lariats AJ. Vol superkicks AJ. KeMalito 2nd rope butt drops KeMonito. Mist is put in a triple submission. Barb giant swings Mist and Sob dropkicks Mist. Vol pins Mist. Volador Jr.'s team wins the fall.

Barb stands on KeMonito. KeMonito takes a legdrop + backbreaker combo.

2nd Fall - Sob and Malito stomp Mist on the ramp then pose. AJ takes a double boot. Barb plancha's AJ outside. MD is sent over the rails. Sob rolls into an enzugiri on Atlantis. Mist takes a double kick to the leg then takes kicks in the leg from Sob.  

MD is put in a rocking chair and Sob is legdropped on him. Barb springboard splashes MD. Vol then tries to pin Md with his foot. MD is held and Sob stands on his back. Mist springboard headscissors Sob. Mist springboard double back elbows the heels. Mist then tornillos Sob outside. AJ runs the ramp and crossbodies Vol and Barb together. He pins both. Mistico's team wins the fall.

Monito 2nd rope crossbodies Malito between falls, dropkicks him and does a bad 619.  Monito 2nd rope splashes him and MD counts the pin for him.

3rd Fall - Mist and Sob go at it. Sob slides out immediately. Vol distracts Mist. Monito and Malito square off. Monito flying headscissors him out. Mist flying headscissors Vol. Mist is double hiptossed into the ropes. Mist 619's Barb. Mist springboard diving headscissors Sob. Mist boots Barb out of the corner and Barb does the worm. Mist springboard headscissors Barb out.

Mist satellite headscissors Sob out. AJ kicks Vol as he backrolls. AJ flying headscissors Sob then monkey flips Barb. AJ tilt-a-whirl backbreakers all 3 opponents. MD is flipped and does an armdrag + headscissors combo. MD armdrags Sob. MD flips off the ropes and armdrags Vol. 

MD flying headscissors Barb then corkscrew headscissors Sob out. Mist topes Sob. AJ and MD then do stereo topes. AJ powerslams Vol for 2. Barb rolls AJ into a pin for 2. MD enzugiri's Barb from the apron and springboard canadian destroyers him for 2. Sob suplexes MD. Sob is up top, Mist walks up the buckles and top rope spanish flies him for 2. 

Mist tries a spinning headcissors but Sob square drivers him off of it for 2. AJ hits chops on Barb. Barb hits punches back. AJ superkicks him. AJ tope con hilos him outside. MD top rope crossbodies Vol. Mist springboard crossbodies Sob then la mistica's him. MD top rope ssp's Vol at the same time. MD picks up  pin and Mist submits Sob. Mistico's team wins the fall and match.

Thoughts: It was an okay bout. The first two falls weren't that special but the faces flew a bit more in the 3rd which helped things out. I was surprised to see Soberano lose here. This ran a bit long.

We then see Mojo Rawley of WWE fame in the crowd. He's hyped as usual.

16 Man Steel Cage Mask Vs. Hair Match - Cancerbero vs. Polvora vs. Virus vs. Rey Cometa vs. Electrico vs. Astral vs. Robin vs. Oro Jr. vs. Espiritu Negro vs. Diamond vs. Sangre Imperial vs. El Coyote vs. Calavera Jr. I vs. Calavera Jr. II vs. Blue Shark vs. El Vigia

The match starts while people are still entering. Negro dives onto Shark from the ramp. Cometa climbs the cage to get in and moonaults off of it onto Robin and Negro. Blue Shark then does a dive off the top of the cage. Vigia gets on top of the cage and jumps onto a Calavera and 2 others. Polva climbs the cage, is nearly out, gets booed and comes back in. Polv is then stomped by like 8 people.

Oro is pulled down off the cage by Sangre. Robin bangs Coyote's head off the cage. Shark and Virus chop each other. Cometa and Oro get stopped trying to escape. Robin rips up maybe Astral's mask. Virus hits punches on Polvora. They do a 10 count countdown and I assume wrestlers can officially leave after this.

Everyone climbs the cage and gets pulled down. Sangre climbs and is pulled down. Virus chops a Calavera. A Calavera chops Vigia. Vigia then climbs over the top is out. Vigia escapes the cage.

Shark is half over the top but Cancerbero pulls him back in. Polvora spinebusters Cometa. A Calavera's head is banged off the cage by Virus. Virus escapes the cage.

Diamond hits spears to Coyote's gut. Cometa walks up the buckles with Cancerbero's help. Rey Cometa escapes the cage.

Oro then climbs over the top of the cage. Oro Jr. escapes the cage.

Coyote headbutts Sangre. The Calavera's chop Shark and double suplex him. Negro splashes Shark. Sangre is popped up top. He punches and boots Polvora. Sangre Imperial escapes the cage.

Diamond does a slam on Polvora. Electrico is pushed into Robin. Astral then moonsaults off the cage onto Robin. Astral superkicks Electrico. Astral escapes the cage.

Negro is stopped from escaping. Coyote uses him as a step. El Coyote escapes the cage.

Cancerbero kicks Shark in the nuts. Shark bangs Polvora's head off the cage. Calavera and Shark climb the cage together. They sit on top of the cage and fight then decide to climb down together. Blue Shark and Calavera Jr. II escape the cage.

Cal I tries to escape but is pulled down and group stomped.  Robin climbs the cage and is pulled down. Polvora powerbombs Diamond. Negro boots Cancerbero away. Espiritu Negro escapes the cage.

We've got 6 left - Calavera I, Electrico, Cancerbero, Robin, Polvora and Diamond. Diamond chops Calavera in the corner. Robin clibs the cage and is double thrown down from the buckles. Cancer slams Elecrico. Cancer powerbombc Calavera onto Electrico. Cancerbero escapes the cage.

Robin climbs the cage again and is stopped by 3 guys. Calavera then is stopped by 3 guys. Electrico and Diamond get triple stomped in the corners. Diamond is chopped on the ropes. Diamond is held in the air and dropkicked in the butt by Polvora. Polvora slams Electrico. Calavera and Robin then do stereo top rope swantons. Polvora slams Robin onto Calavera. Polvora escapes the cage.

We are now down to 4 - Calavera, Robin, Diamond and Electrico. Calavera boots Electrico and Diamond. Robin basement dropkicks Diamond. Calavera flying forearms Electrico. Diamond is popped up into a headscissors on Robin. Electrico backrolls Calavera and spinning reverse headscissors him. Elec and Diamond climb the cage together and both are powerbombed down. Robin and Calavera then try to rip Diamond's and Electrico's masks off together.

Calavera chops Robin when Diamond moves. Electric jumps over Cal's back and headscissors Robin. Diamond toyota rolls into Robin and climbs the cage. Electrico then climbs the cage. Electrico and Diamond escape the cage.

Mask vs Mask Match - Robin vs Calavera Jr. I

Robin kicks Cal then pounds on him. Robin back elbows him and lariats him. Robin rips his mask up and exposes most of his face. Robin knocks Cal over. Robin bangs Cal's head off the cage. Robin gets stuck in tree of woe and is double stomped down. Cal flying forearms him. Cal rips Robin's mask.

Cal landslides Robin for 2. They trade chops. Robin headbutts him then TKO's him for 2. Robin kicks him while he's down. Robin top rope swantons him. Cal walks up the buckles and moonsaults onto Robin for 2. Cal hurricanrana's Robin but Robin rolls through and gets a 2 count. Cal rolls him up for 2. 

They kip up together. They moonsault off the ropes together then double clothesline each other and try to double pin each other. Robin hits a double underhook sitout powerbomb for 2. Cal back body drops him. Cal climbs the cage and top rope swantons him. Cal ties his legs up, ties up one of his arms and kimura's the other arm. Robin submits and must unmask.

Thoughts: It got a lot of time to play out. The escape the cage portion was mostly all people trying to escape. Despite having little room to work with due to so many people being involved, they did keep it interesting. Robin and Calavera then did fine in the mask vs mask match. As I've said before, I don't really understand why anyone would want to lose their mask in this manner unless they were really broke. You only get to lose your mask once and you should want it to be part of some major storyline, not a random cage match. Robin didn't exactly have the most mysterious identity though due to his mask being small and due to him being part of the Alvarado wrestling family. I liked this one and thought it was okay overall.

Masacara Dorada brings in Robin's kid. Robin's kid hugs Robin in the ring after. Both are crying. More of Robin's family comes in to hug him. Robin's kid then helps him take the mask off. Calavera holds up Robin on his shoulders after. 

Overall thoughts: I liked the first two matches. The tag title match wasn't that good as Oro and Roja were a bit sloppy. The trios match ended up being okay though the first two falls weren't the best. I liked the main. They had a lot of people in the cage but kept it moving and kept it interesting. Robin and Calavera then gave a good effort in the mask vs mask match before Robin lost. I'd give this a 6 out of 10. We don't get a lot of aspuesta's matches and that match helped the show out.
