Stardom 1/21/2026 New Year Stars 2026 In Korakuen Hall Day 3

The Stardom President and Starlight Kid talk before the show. Kid shills a book. Saya Kamitani comes out and beats up Kid then dropkicks her down. Saya then grabs her and talks trash and then shills her own book. They go face to face and Saya leaves. Kid then keeps shilling her book. 

Fuwa-chan & Hazuki vs. God's Eye (Ranna Yagami & Syuri)

Fuwa and Ran waistlock each other. Ran wristlocks her and Fuwa reverses it. Ran side headlocks her. They armdrag each other and Ran dropkicks her. Ran slams her and foot chokes her in the corner. Ran kicks her in the back for 2. Syu comes in and stomps Fuwa. Syu chokes her around the top rope. Shy kicks her in the back for 2. 

Fuwa hits chest forearms on Ran and Ran fires back. Fuwa flying back elbows her and running dropkicks her. Haz top rope dropkicks Ran then sentons her. Haz double armdrags her opponents and does a double basement dropkick. Fuwa and Haz hit facewash kicks on the ropes. Ran dropkicks Haz then PK's her. 

Haz and Syu trade forearms. Syu forearm flurries her from behind. Syu spin kicks her in the gut then Haz pump kicks her. Fuwa comes in and hits dropkicks on Syu. Syu slams Fuwa for 2 then does a figure four variation. Fuwa ropebreaks. Syu takes a double kick then Fuwa does an octopus to her. Haz chinlocks Ran at the same time.

Fuwa pump kicks Syu then slams her. Fuwa then tries pin attempts. Fuwa hits forearms. Fuwa gets double suplexed and Syu kicks her in the back for 2. Syu hits knees to Fuwa's gut. Haz codebreakers Syu. Fuwa suplexes Syu for 2. Fuwa hits forearms and rolls up Syu for 2. Syu flying knees her for 2. Syu half crabs her and Fuwa ropebreaks. Syu sharpshooters her and Fuwa submits.

Thoughts: It got more time than needed here. Fuwa isn't quite being treated as the usual young lion and got a lot in. It was alright and was your usual fast paced Stardom match with people coming in and out as they pleased. Fuwa continues to look fine despite being inexperienced.

Ami Sourei & Olympia vs. Anne Kanaya & Yuna Mizumori

Yuna and Olym start us off. They lock up. Yuna hammerlocks her and Olym reverses it. Olym armdrags her into an armlock then Yuna armdrags her over. Olym kips up and armdrags her. Yuna tries shoulderblocks on her. Olym shoulders her over.

Olym headflips over her. Olym gets her back double stomped then Yuna drops Anne onto her for 2. Olym and Ami squat their opponents and hit wastelands on them. Olym cartwheel splashes Yuna for 2.

Ami hits chops on Yuna. Ami double chops her down. Yuna flying shoulders her and lariats her for 2. Anne comes in. She dropkicks Ami in the corner and hits chest forearms. Anne dropkicks her in the corner. Ami blocks a casadora armdrag so Anne trips her instead. Anne basement dropkicks her for 2. 

Ami slams Anne for 2 then crabs her. Yuna top rope diving shoulders her. Anne bulldogs Ami for 2. Anne hits chest forearms on Ami. Ami suplexes Anne for 2. Anne rolls up Ami for 2. Ami lariats and blue thunders Anne for the win.

Thoughts: It was a shorter bout and nothing too special. The girls got some of their trademark spots in and not a ton else. It was acceptable.

Olym points at Yuna's title after and seems to want a shot.

Kikyo Furusawa & Mi Vida Loca (Akira Kurogane, Itsuki Aoki, Rina Yamashita & Suzu Suzuki) vs. Empress Nexus Venus (HANAKO, Maika, Rian, Waka Tsukiyama & Xena)

We got a bit of Rian vs Akira here. Suzu and Maika had a bit of a fiery section. It wasn't super serious otherwise and we had a surprising result with Aoki pinning Maika for some reason. I liked the Rian/Akira section. It was a throwaway tag for the most part.

Suzu has words for Maika after as does Hanako. Aoki then talks on the mic.

Saori Anou vs. Maki Itoh vs. Tomoka Inaba

Itoh boots TI to start then says something to SA. Itoh tries to whip SA into her then rolls her up. Itoh wants to work together again and they double back elbow TI. TI is facebustered then SA facekicks TI over. 

SA gets on the 2nd rope and Itoh tries to powerbomb her. SA hits her on top of the head and boots her. SA then throws her by the head. TI snapmares Itoh and kicks her in the back. SA low basement dropkicks Itoh.

Itoh hits a double ddt. Itoh running facekicks TI and SA in the corner. Itoh then twisting half-crabs both opponents at the same time. Itoh and TI trade chest forearms. TI gets the edge. Itoh blocks her kick and headbutts her. TI spinning high kicks Itoh. 

SA top rope dropkicks TI. TI is held for a ddt and a wheelbarrow german. Itoh stunners SA off a failed double team on TI. Itoh gets scared. TI chest kicks Itoh down then gordbusters her. She goes for the pin then SA backsides her into a bridge and SA pins TI.

Thoughts: They had a story here with Itoh trying to work with SA and blowing it. It was done in a comedic way though and it turned this into a comedy match when the two couldn't work together. 

God's Eye (Hina, Lady C & Saki Kashima) vs. Neo Genesis (AZM, Mei Seira & Miyu Amasaki)

Saki offers AZM a handshake and gets on the ground to try to convince her to do it. AZM goes for it and Saki tries to pin her. AZM high kicks her and rolls her up for 2. Saki tries a pin on AZM. Saki bulldogs C onto AZM for 2.

Hina comes in and slams AZM for 2 counts. C comes in and tries to crab AZM but is rolled up for 2. C is tripped into the ropes and is hit with a double kick there. C is then double basement dropkicked. Miyu basement dropkicks C for 2 then does a scholar collar. Hina breaks it up.

Miyu ddt's Hina and C. C blocks a pendulum ddt and giant swings her. C facekicks Miyu on the ropes and shoulders her over for 2. AZM, Hina and C all do stereo submissions at the same time.

C is tripped into a double basement dropkick for 2. C throws Miyu down onto her chest and Miyu pendulum ddt's her. Hina and Mei go at it. Hina hits a chest forearm. Mei goes to the 2nd rope and Hina hip throws her down. Hina takes running corner attacks and a triple basement dropkick. Mei 2nd rope dropkicks Hina for 2. Mei takes a double neckbreaker then a wrist-clutch uranage for 2.

Hina spinning drops Mei on her chest. Mei no sells it and rolls her up for 2. Hina rolls her up for 2. AZM high kicks Hina and Mei fisherman suplexes Hina. Mei then rolls up Hina and wins.

Thoughts: It was your standard Stardom faster paced tag with people coming in and out. We didn't see much of Saki here. It was acceptable but not much else. They had Gina and Mei point at each other after so it probably means they are facing off. Mei looked like she got hurt off the hiptoss from the 2nd rope.

STARS (Bea Priestley, Hanan, Momo Kohgo & Saya Iida) vs. HATE (Azusa Inaba, Fukigen Death, Natsuko Tora & Ruaka)

Death misses eye pokes on Iida. She then backrolls and double wristlocks her. Death does her smoking taunt and Iida pretends to throw the invisible cigarette out. Death takes a bunch of offense from her opponents and takes a 4 girl basement dropkick for 2. 

Iida gets hit on the ropes and is double foot choked. AI PK's her for 2. AI foot chokes Iida then Tora bodyblocks Iida. Tora forearms Iida over then shoulders her over. Tora gets shouldered over after hitting a lariat.

Hanan comes in. She leg lariats Tora on the ropes. Hanan and Momo do stereo 2nd rope twisting crossbodies. Tora eye rakes Hanan then samoan drops her. Tora misses a senton and Hanan low diving euros her. Hanan tries to slam her but Tora falls on her. Tora sentons her for 2.

Ruaka crossbodies Hanan against the bottom rope for 2. Hanan and Ruaka trade forearms. Hanan leg lariats her. BP comes in and hits lariats on Ruaka. Ruaka distracts her and straight punches her down. Ruaka forearms Hanan down. BP then takes running corner attacks from her opponents.

BP takes shotei's and a double superkick. Ruaka 2nd rope splashes BP for 2. Iida running lariats Ruaka then BP pumping knees Ruaka for 2. Momo and Hanan hit stereo superkicks on their opponents. Momo springboard plancha's multiple people outside. 

Ruaka is given a black box. She misses a shot with it and Hanan dropkicks her over. Ruaka is hit with a double bulldog for 2. BP boma-ye's Ruaka and pins her.

Thoughts: It was okay. It was pretty similar to the other matches here with them keeping things moving and not getting a ton of time to do anything too special. This was just to get various girls on the card.

BP gets on the mic. She says she pinned Tora here last time and pinned Ruaka this time. She says she beat the tag champs now and thinks she should challenge for the tag titles. She nominates Hanan and Hanan says OK. Tora then talks on the mic. Hanan then says no problem. Hanan's team then poses.

Natsupoi, Starlight Kid & Yuzuki Aikawa vs. Cosmic Angels (Aya Sakura & Sayaka Kurara) & Yuria Hime

Yuz and Hime go at it. Yuz blocks a takedown and they rolls around on the mat. Yuz wristlocks her and Hime wristlocks her back. Yuz reverses it and kicks her in the arm. Yuz axe kicks her while doing a wristlock then kimura's her. Yuz gives the hold up for no reason and hits kicks to Hime's back for 2.

Hime takes corner attacks and Yuz corner splashes her. Hime is held for a double basement dropkick then Yuz's team poses on her. Saya and Aya break it up then pose. Kid yanks on Hime's arm and pulls on it around the ropes. She then dropkicks it against the ropes.

Hime hits forearms on Kid and Kid pounds her down. Hime running dropkicks her. Aya comes in and hits kicks on everyone. She trades some kicks with Yuz. Aya and Saya hit stereo dropkicks. Aya spinning heel kicks Kid then kicks her in the back for 2. Kid elbows Aya in the neck then 2nd rope crossbodies her. Kid dropkicks Aya.

Kid standing moonsaults Aya for 2. Poi comes in and top rope crossbodies Aya. She then armbars her and Aya ropebreaks. Poi and Aya hit kicks then Aya superkicks her. Saya gets in. She corner dropkicks Poi twice then basement dropkicks her for 2.

Saya sleepers Poi and Poi rope breaks. Saya crossbodies Poi for 2. Saya is rolled into a double basement dropkick. Poi dropkicks Saya through the ropes. Poi misses a top rope corkscrew splash then Saya low flying knees her. Poi superkicks her. 

Yuz and Hime go at it. They trade leg kicks for facekicks. Yuz dropkicks her then legdrops her for 2. Yuz leg kicks Hime and fisherman suplexes her for 2. Yuz takes dropkicks from Aya and Saya. Hime facekicks Yuz over for 2. 

Yuz stunners Hime then spinning high kicks her for 2. Yuz and Hime hit chest forearms. Hime slaps her. Yuz is shocked and hits leg kicks. She then hits spinning high kicks on her and pulls her hair. Yuz axe kicks Hime in the back multiple times. Yuz slaps Hime down for 2. 

Saya hits a big spear on Yuz. Hime leg slices Yuz for 2. Hime headscissors Yuz then does the devil's kiss. Hime grabs Yuz's leg and arm on top of it and pulls. Poi breaks it up. Poi and Kid then do stereo plancha's off the top. Poi germans Hime. Yuz's partners lift her for an axe kick on Hime. Yuz shining wizard's Hime for 2. Yuz tiger suplexes Hime and wins.

Thoughts: It was a fun tag and it was what it was supposed to be. We got a lot of focus on Yuzuki/Hime and pretty much everyone else was just the backdrop for this. The two did well together. Yuzuki really hasn't lost a step and it's just such a shame she wasted her prime years not wrestling when she had so much to give. I don't think this is going to be the end of her in Stardom.

Wonder Of Stardom Title Match - Konami (c) vs. Rina

Rina running dropkicks her to start and hits forearms. They grab each other by the hair and Kon is thrown backwards. Rina basement dropkicks her then throws her out. Kon is sent into the seats several times. Rina facekicks Kon over the 2nd rope. Kon hits her with a chair. Kon puts a chair around Rina's throat and yanks it down backwards over the top in a dangerous looking spot.

Kon kicks Rina in the back and basement dropkicks her. Kon armbars her. Kon hits elbows on Rina's arm then stomps it into the mat. Kon knees her in the arm for 2. 

Rina hits forearms and spits at her. Kon stomps on her. Rina hipthrows her. Rina facekicks Kon through the ropes for 2. Rina does an octopus to her and Kon rope breaks. Rina suplexes her for 2. 

Kon rolling armbars Rina and Rina rope breaks. Kon sliding kicks Rina against the ropes and fisherman suplexes her for 2. Kon chest kicks Rina. Rina slaps her then shotei's her. Rina hits a slap flurry and Kon high kicks her. Kon uraken's her then Rina facekicks her. Both go down.

They trade forearms. Rina flurries her then STO's her. Rina goes up top and is high kicked down. Kon hanging chokes Rina and then chokes her with something. Kon diving high kicks Rina from the top rope.

Kon running knee lifts Rina then sleepers her. Kon germans Rina for 2. Kon rolls into an armnbar on Rina. Rina rolls her up. Rina gori specials her. Rina 2nd rope double knee drops her then top rope double knee drops her for 2. Rina top rope dropkicks Kon. 

Kon back body drops her and Rina abdominal stretch drivers her. Rina then does a grounded la suastica variation and Kon rope breaks. Kon sleepers her. Rina gori specials her for 2. Rina top rope dropkicks her then does a package piledriver for 2. Kon sleepers her.

Kon germans her and buzzsaw kicks her for 1. Kon's nose is busted open. Kon misses a soccer kick to the head and Rina rolls her up for 2. Kon high kicks her and punts her in the face for 2. Kon grounded sleepers her. Rina is out and Kon wins.

Thoughts: It was good main here. They hit each other hard and got rough with each other. It was a spirited and stiff bout and it turned out a lot better than I expected. Kon bleeding at the end added to effect of this one. 

Kon talks on the mic then Rina talks back. They shake hands and hug. Ami Sourei comes out and likely wants a title shot. Kon talks to her and Ami replies. Ami leaves later on. Kon then poses with HATE to close the show.

Overall thoughts: Only the two top matches were worthwhile here. The rest of the card had the usual Stardom style tags with people coming in and out as they pleased at a fast pace with limited logic involved. I hate to repeat that phrase so much here but it's not a lie. That style has a ceiling to it and the more of it you see, the less interesting it gets.  Saya Kamitani beat up Kid to open the show but didn't actually wrestle here. I would give it a 6 out of 10 overall and I thought it was good, mostly for the last two bouts.
