Ring of Honor on HonorClub 1/22/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/01/ring-of-honor-on-honorclub-1152026.html

We are in Arlington, TX. Ian Riccaboni and Caprice Coleman are on commentary.

The Premier Athletes come out. Mark Sterling talks. Mark says his bicep was ripped from the bone 120+ days ago and hasn't been touched since due to Stori Dinali. He says if the Dallas Cowboys had one athlete the caliber of his team, maybe they would have made the playoffs instead of watching from the sidelines. He then tries to get the fans to say, "Athletes Rule", but they don't.

The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese and Ari Daivari) vs Adam Priest and Tommy Billington

Jay Lethal and The Swirl do an inset. They say Tom and AP need to find something else to do with their hurt feelings and say they are far from done.

AP pushes Ari when he won't shake hands. Ari slaps the hand away. Ari takes AP down by the wrist. AP hits back elbows on Ari. AP shoulders him over. AP takes double team shots in the corner. Nese is tripped and hit with an elbow drop. Tom works Nese's arm then AP 2nd rope double axe handles Nese's arm. Tom then does the same to Nese and AP double axe handles the arm again.

Tom hiptosses Nese and is hit with an upkick. Nese side headlock takeovers him. Tom backrolls him for 1. Tom shoulders over Nese twice. Tom trips over Nese then is clipped in the leg. Nese's back is rammed into the rails. Tom is then sent hard shoulder first into the side of the ring.

Mark and Ari stomp Tom outside. Nese hits shots on Tom. Tom hits shots to the gut and sells his arm. Nese arm whips Tom down for 2. Tom's throat is pulled down over the top rope. Nese misses a triangle moonsault. Ari elbow drops Tom's back. They double clothesline each other down.

AP comes in and hits lariats on Ari. He corner chops him. AP htis a big german. AP 2nd rope diving tornado ddt's Nese. Ari cradles AP for 2. AP then puts on a crab while Tom puts a crossface on Nese. Mark Sterling gets on the apron and the heels get free. Ari flying shoulders Nese on accident. AP euros Ari over.

Tom is pulled over the top rope and Ari hits a hard lariat on AP. AP takes a double team lifting ddt for 2. Nese is sent into Ari and dragon screwed. AP half crabs Nese. Stori comes in while the ref is distracted and she chokeslams AP. Nese goes for the pin and Tom top rope diving headbutts Nese.

Tom topes Ari outside. AP cradles Nese for 2. AP backrolls Nese and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a good opener. It got a lot of time. Tom got sent hard shoulder first into the side of the ring and he got thrown around a bit. AP looked fine and they all put out a good effort here.

The Swirl come in and stomp the faces with The Athletes after. They then put them in figure fours while they pound on them.

Handicap Match - Satnam Singh vs Dante Leon and Josiah Jean

Jean's an ROW guy like Will Allday. Leon's a decent flyer and did Noah tours.

Sat pushes both over and double clotheslines them. Sat chops Jean in the corner then throws him. Leon then is chopped down in the corner. Sat throws him then bangs Jean's head off the mat. Sat clubs down Leon. Jean clips Sat then he and Leon double club Sat. Sat hits a double chokeslam. He stacks them on each other and stands on them to pin them.

Thoughts: It was a squash as expected. Satnam did his usual stuff It's a shame Jean and Leon didn't get to do a full match as they would have done a good with it. Satnam should get a title shot at some point since he's now 13-0 on ROH.

CRU (Action Andretti & Lio Rush) vs Alec Price & Jordan Oliver

AP and JO just got signed by AEW. They'll be on this show a lot. Cru doesn't have Lacey Lane with them.

AA and Jo lock up. JO trips him then side headlocks him. AP wristlocks AA. AA bridges and headflips out. AA dropkicks and armdrags AP. Lio wristlocks AP. AP flips out using the ropes. Lio rolls him.

All 4 get in and evade each other. They then stand off. Cru get hit from behind and are stomped on. JO and AA chop each other. AA takes a double back elbow and a double legdrop for 2. AP backrolls AA. Cru hit strike flurries on AP. JO saves AP from a double suplex. Superkicks and pump kicks are thrown. AP rebound lariats AA.

Cru handspring kick their opponents off the apron then hit stereo topes. AP suicide dives Cru outside. JO double flying knees Lio in the corner. Lio is put in a reverse razor's edge and is double team facebustered down.

AP forearms JO off the apron on accident. Lio corkscrew kicks AP. AA lariats AP. AP takes a double falcon arrow and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was a fun fast paced match here. They never really stopped and I enjoyed it. Cru got the win as expected. Price was so fast here.

They shake hands after.

Dalton Castle & The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd) vs Auzzy, Hitt and Gino Medina

I haven't seen Auzzy yet but have seen his partners.

Auz refuses Truth's handshake. Truth side headlocks him. Truth hiptosses him then side headlocks Gino. Gino is hiptossed then Truth chops him. Turbo 2nd rope punches Gino in the head. Gino takes a knee lift then a double hiptoss. Auz takes one as well. Gino takes a double back body drop.

Hitt comes in. He grabs Turbo by the throat and throws him in the corner. He hits shots on him in the corner. Truth blocks a double team and tags out. DC comes in and hits suplexes on his opponents including Hitt. The faces hit triple slams then do a double elbow drop + double axe handle. Gino is hit with a bangarang and is pinned.

Thoughts:
It was a squash here. It wasn't too much of note. The faces hit their signature moves. We didn't see Hitt until the end here. The jobbers were mostly here to get thrown around.

Deonna Purrazzo does a promo. She says standing next to Madison Rayne meant a lot to her. She says she was right when she was told she has work to do. She issues an open challenge. She says she's a fighting a champ and excellence is required.

ROH Pure Title Proving Ground Match - Lee Moriarty vs. Matt Menard

MM has some words for him and they shake hands. Lee waistlock takedowns him and rolls him into a 2 count. Lee is thrown out but lands on his feet. MM goes out and Lee goes back in.

MM side headlocks him. MM shoulders him over then side headlock takeovers him. Lee trips him and armbars him. MM uses his first rope break. Lee boots him in the back of the head. MM shoves him. Lee spin kicks him in the gut and boots him in the head. Lee euros him.

Lee cobra twists him. MM uses his 2nd rope break. Lee shoves him from behind. MM drops him with a punch and gets a warning for it. Lee running facekicks him out. MM is stomped on when he gets back in. Lee forearms him in the arm.

Lee misses a springboard and is lariated. Lee forearms MM a few times. MM chops him and hits forearms. MM back elbows him. MM hits mounted corner elbows. MM russian legsweeps him for 2. MM does a crab on him and Lee uses his first rope break. Lee rolls him up for 2 then does a border city stretch. MM taps out.

Thoughts: I think the idea they went for was that Menard was trying but wasn't really in Lee's league. They did good job with that but it wasn't the most exciting match and didn't do a lot for me.

Shane Taylor Promotions beat up Menard after. Skyflight makes the save.

Londyn Dior & Rachael Ellering vs. MIT (Billie Starkz & Diamante)

Dia rolls up RE and RE shoulders her over. RE armwhips her down and baseball slides her for 2. They trade pin attempts. Dia knees her in the gut. BS side headlocks RE. RE wristlocks her. BS stomps RE's foot. BS spins her and sweeps her. BS then basement dropkicks her.

RE hits chops on Dia. RE's head is banged off the buckles. She takes a corner lariat and corner dropkick for 2. RE hits a double clothesline on the heels. LD gets in. She hits forearms and a backhand on BS. BS kicks LD from the corner. BS is knocked off the top when Dia tags her from behind. Dia spinebusters LD. Dia top rope swantons LD then topes RE off of it. Dia heel hooks LD and submits her.

Thoughts:
It was average. I'm curious if BS was supposed to be knocked off the top or not because I think it was a botch. RE was in this one for most of it.

Big Bill and Bryan Keith vs KM and Will Allday

Will is from ROW. BK throws his jacket at Will and hits shots. BK chops him down. Will snapmares him and PK's him. Will topes BK outside. Will is caught in the air with an exploder.

KM gets in. BK slaps him and is shoved backwards. Bill tags in. KM boots him in the gut and is lariated. Bill misses a corner splash and KM corner splashes him. Bill corner splashes him. Will jumps off the top and BK catches him with a forearm. KM takes facekicks from both opponents.

Bill bearhugs Will then black hole slams him off of it to win.

Thoughts: It was a squash that didn't go too long. I was hoping for more of a Bill/KM fight than what we got. I wish they would have let this go a while because I think it would have been good.

Ace Austin vs Johnny TV

JTV forearms him down to start and kicks him. JTV hits shots to the gut. AA backrolls into an armdrag. He then dropkicks JTV out. Taya Valkyria blocks AA outside then JTV hits a moonlight drive on the floor on AA. Taya then stomps on AA outside. JTV and Taya then kiss.

They bridge up together. JTV does a grounded choke. JTV heavenly locks him. JTV misses a corner forearm. AA hits knees on him then russian legsweeps him. AA legdrops him. AA hits corner lariats. AA helicopter kicks him.

AA doctor bomb's him for 2. JTV samoan drops him. AA blocks starship pain with a roll up for 2. JTV ducks a helicopter kick then springboard enzugiri's him. JTV running knees him in the face. JTV misses starship pain. They trade shots. AA hits leg kicks and forearms him.

AA is flipped to the apron. He kicks Taya away then JTV enzugiri's AA. JTV is enzugiri'd up top. AA headscissors him down. AA hits the fold and wins.

Thoughts: It was a decent high flying battle as expected. Taya didn't cheat as much as I expected here. I had no real issues with this and would have been fine if it went even longer.

Overall thoughts: The opener was the best thing on here as it got a lot of time and they put out a good effort. Cru's match was decent and the main was fine. I think there was only one champ here in action which was a bit lame since ROH has so many champs. We had a couple squashes as well as usual. Had some of the matches here gotten more time, I think this would have been a better show than it was. I would give this a low 6 out of 10 as it was watchable and had some okay wrestling, but there was nothing great here as usual and there was limited storyline progress.
