Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/01/ring-of-honor-on-honorclub-182026.html
We are in Arlington, TX. Caprice Coleman and Ian Riccaboni are on commentary.
Spanish Announce Project (Angelico & Serpentico) vs. Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson)
Ang is pulled down by the hair by Drake. Drake shoulders him in the gut. Ang takes corner attacks and a spinning heel kick from Drake. Zack hits euros on Ang. Ang pump kicks him.
Serp top rope double stomps Zack. Zack is hiptossed then Serp is hiptossed onto him. Serp sentons him for 2. Serp hits chops on Zack. Serp is dropkicked in the knee and the side of the head. Drake leg lariats Ang off the apron from Zack's back. Drake dragon screws Serp then kneebreakers him. Drake ankle locks Serp while kneeling on his leg.
Serp bodypresses Zack. Zack half crabs Serp. Serp is put in a surfboard then axe kicked by Drake. Drake asks if Serp knows what caliber of talent he is facing. Serp headscissors him from the buckles. Ang is tagged in and hits lariats on the heels. Ang jumps off Zack's back and lariats Drake. Ang upkicks Zack.
Ang lifting flatliners Zack. Serp top rope swantons Zack for 2. Ang tries to lariat Drake over the top but Drake goes go over. They go out and Ang is sent knee first fin the rails. Serp dropkicks Drake through the ropes. Serp rolls up Zack for 2. Zack reverse dragon screws Serp then codebreakers him off the buckles. Zack holds Serp for a top rope dropkick from Drake. Drake pins Serp.
Thoughts: It was fine. The heels got most of the offense in as expected and Serp lost as he usually does.
Zack gets on the mic after. He says he hopes Eddie and Ortiz are watching, taking notes on how pro's handle their business. He says this is the future for them. Drake chokes Serp with his towel. The Vets were a little more aggressive towards the end of this, which I liked.
Eddie Kingston and Ortiz come down. Eddie has a chair and the heels run.
Lance Archer vs Vin Prker
Lance boots him over then clubs on him. Lance chops him in the corner. Lance misses a chop and Vin chops him. Lance forearms him down then hits a crackerjack. Lance puts Vin up top. Vin hits boots from there and 2nd rope dropkicks him. Vin poses then Lance crossbodies him. Lance hits a blackout and wins.
Thoughts: It was the usual Lance squash. Vin was a little sloppy here.
Shane Taylor vs Kiran Grey
Shane has his crew with him as usual minus Lee.
ST shoves KG off the lock up. ST backs him up in the corner then punches him. KG hits shots, gets on his back and hits more. KG goes for a sleeper and is rammed backwards. ST knees him in the face. KG does some nice selling. ST asks if he knows who he is and punches him in the gut.
ST hits corner spears. ST chops him in the corner and drops him. KG hits forearms and is knee'd in the gut. ST hits a lard lariat for 2. ST misses a corner charge. KG clubs and legsweeps him. KG then hits an elbow drop and a splash for 1.
KG pump kicks him for 2. ST headbutts him in the chest then uranage's him. ST splashes him for 2. SG drops him with a bi forearm and pins him.
Thoughts: KG was the face here but he's more suited to be a heel. Shane did his usual hard punches and forearms. It was average for the most part and Shane won as expected.
Frathouse (Griff Garrison, Jacked Jameson, Preston Vance and Kole Carter) vs Ross Von Erich, Marshall Von Erich, Aaron Solo, QT Marshall
Jacked Jameson says their opponents are Texas wrestling legends...no, sponges living off the names of The Von Erich's. He then says QT and Solo are sponging off of Big Boom AJ. Vance says the #1 rule is that win or lose, they boo (or booze?).
Cole side headlocks Ross then shoulders him over. Ross dropkicks Cole. Marshall then dropkicks Cole off of Ross' dropdown. Marshall slams and elbow drops Cole. Cole then takes a double dropkick from The Von Erich's. Vance then takes a double dropkick.
Solo neckbreakers Griff when they get in. Solo is held on the apron then slingshotted into a Griff powerslam. Jacked crossbodies Solo's back on the ropes and does a high angle gordbuster type of move for 2. Solo jawbreakers Griff. Solo escapes a backdrop then takes a double facekick in the corner. Cole dropkicks Solo. Vance spinebusters Solo. Jacked misses a 2nd rope senton Solo. Solo step up enzugiri's Vance.
QT comes in and hits lariats on Griff. QT handspring enzugiri's Griff. Vance lariats Cole on accident. Marshall iron claws Vance then Vance takes a iron claw + backdrop for 2. Jacked running lariats QT. Jacked is put in an iron claw and Solo tope con hilos out. QT cutters Jacked and pins him.
Thoughts: It was a short and fast paced bout. What we got was fine but I would have liked a lot more as no one really got a ton of time here.
MxM TV (Mansoor, Mason Madden and Taya Valkyrie) vs Shane Taylor Promotions (Shawn Dean, Carlie Bravo and Trish Adora)
Taya and Trish lock up. Taya running back elbows her and then hits a big chop. Taya sliding lariats her. Bravo and Mansoor get in. Mansoor euros the arm. Bravo then takes a legdrop + side slam combo for 2. MxM pose and hit a double elbow drop. Bravo jawbreakers Mansoor and Dean hits a hard slingshot spear on him. Dean then does MxM's pose. Dean hits gut punches on Mansoor.
Dena lariats Mansoor then chinlocks him. Dean elbow drops Mansoor's back. Mansoor enzugiri's Dean while he's on the apron. Taya and Trish get in. Taya lariats her. Taya back elbows Trish. Taya corner meteora's Trish.
Taya hits forearms on Trish. Trish forearms her down. Taya gets up and they trade more. Taya and Trish double clothesline each other down. Madden comes in and beats up on the men. He crossbodies Dean after hitting a jumping side kick on Bravo. Dean is hit with backdrop + chokeslam combo for 2. Bravo plancha's Madden outside. Bravo is atomic dropped then takes a spinebuster off of it.
Mansoor topes Dean outside. A girl taps Mansoor on the back in the audience. She pulls her jacket off, they flirt then Bravo forearms Mansoor down from behind.Mansoor takes a double curbstomp and is pinned.
Thoughts: I liked it. The Infantry's double team double curbstomp move was cool. They had another fast paced bout and they limited the female on male violence here thankfully.
The woman (who is very tall) outside waves over Bravo after. He then helps her over the rail and hugs her. They walk out together.
ROH Women's TV Title Proving Ground Match - Red Velvet vs Robyn Renegade
I'm really trying not to make a Red Robin joke here.
Red side headlocks RR. Red hooks her arm, is thrown down but kips up. Red takes her down by the arm and keylocks her. RR shoulders her over. Red jumps on her and is caught. RR does a fallaway slam type of move from it.
RR neckbreakers her on the apron. Red hangs over the 2nd rope and RR double stomps her neck. RR boots her in the corner. RR hits chops then double chops her down for 2. RR goes for a backdrop and RR bodypresses her. RR sitout gordbusters her for 2.
RR argues with the ref and Red lariats her. Red leg lariats her. Red meteora's her on the ropes from behind. Red hits a big forearm on her and pins her.
Thoughts: It was nice that this was mostly competitive. It got enough time and was acceptable. I liked RR's double stomp on the back of the neck and Red's big forearm at the end looked good.
Tony Khan interviews Athena for some reason. He says in 2 weeks on 1/29, they will collaborate with Metroplex Wrestling. He says Athena runs that promotion and do ROH/Metroplex Global Wars. Tony says it'll be an awesome show. Athena says when her minions prove they are the best, they will continue with this forever. Tony says he can't wait for them to team up in 2 weeks.
The Swirl (Blake Christian & Lee Johnson) vs. The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds & Evil Uno)
The Swirl have Jay Lethal with them. There's still no explanation for why Jay is with them.
BC struts and gives Uno the finger early. BC side headlocks him and Uno shoulders him over. BC takes a double basement dropkick. BC is sent into Lee in the corner. Alex top rope crossbodies them both. Alex hits lariats on the heels. BC is monkey flipped into a lariat. Lee lariats Alex over the top.
Alex is laid over the rail and BC jumps off a chair, hitting a double axe handle on him. BC chinlocks Alex. Lee clubs on Alex. Alex does an octopus on Lee around the ropes. BC spears Alex on the apron. Alex cradles Lee for 2 and avoids a double team. Uno gets in. He hits corner splashes on the heels.
Uno running facekicks BC and hits him with a ddt for 2. BC flying headscissors Alex. Uno is double teamed and knocked off the apron. Alex topes Lee outside. BC corkscrew topes through the ropes. BC takes a gori special + codebreaker combo for 2. Lethal gets on the apron, distracts the ref and Alex is crotched up top. Alex takes a double superkick. Alex takes a top rope double stomp + death valley driver and is pinned.
Thoughts: It was acceptable. The Dark Order lost as they often do here. Blake did his usual flying
The heels beat up on the faces after. Lethal puts Uno in the figure four. Adam Priest and Tom Billington make the save.
Overall thoughts: It was the usual ROH show. There wasn't a ton going on storyline wise. The wrestling was okay but nobody really got to go all out and have a classic or anything. They thankfully kept this only a little over an hour which helped things. They sadly didn't do anything special despite this being their 150th episode. I'd give it a low 6 out of 10 as they had a lot of decent matches here. You don't need to see this though.
