Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/01/aaa-on-fox-1172026.html

They all shake hands. Mini kicks Kid then flying headscissors him. Mini corkscrew headscissors Oct. Mini is popped up into a dropkick on Kid. Mini spinning headscissors Oct down. Mini is on Oct's shoulders outside and Kid tope him over.

Thoughts:
This was what you would expect and it worked as they didn't overdo it. Mini impressed as expected. He's super small but he can fly like no other due to his size and was even popping JBL and Rey. Kid and Oct did their fair share of flying as well and it was a match a ton of highlights. I enjoyed this.

We see El Fantasma (Santos Escobar's dad and the lucha commissioner) in the crowd.

AAA Latin American Title Match - El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. (c) vs. Mecha Wolf

Doc pump kicks him and back elbows him. Doc flying headscissors him. Wolf superkicks Doc into the rails then he topes him. Wolf hits punches on Doc. Doc punches back and flying lariats him. Doc  hits him from behind then backdrops him. Doc cannonballs him off the apron.

Thoughts: It was a bit of a slower match and just average. Doc's really not the most exciting guy but Wolf had a good showing here. Doc won as expected and the only question was how long it would take.

Doc does a promo after which thankfully gets subtitles. He talks about Santos Escobar. He says he will never forget what he said. He says if he wants the title, come and get it.

Penta is interviewed and we get sub titles for it. He is asked about him getting injured before he could team with Rey Fenix. He says he's almost at 100%. He says The Lucha Bros have to return to AAA. He says Canelo Alvarez's son motivates him. He is asked about his year on Raw. He says he has done a lot of things he never imagined and he's happy. He says 2026 will have the greatest moments and results.

Penta talks about winning Rey de Reyes years ago and says Rey de Reyes is back. He says there will be 4 Fatal 4 Way qualifiers. He says the winners will meet in Puebla. He says the winner gets a sword and a shot at the AAA Mega Title. He says this will be the most interesting Rey de Reyes and says may the best win.

He puts over Jack Cartwheel as one of the best highflyers in the world. He is asked about Aerostar. He says Aero is a vet with a lot of experience and you can't write him off as a dangerous opponent. He is asked about Apllo Crews. He says Apollo has a great resume in WWE and we will see how he does here. He is then asked about La Parka. He says Parka has many qualities that could help him win.

Penta says Penta has a special place in his heart. He says on 3/14, he will give the sword to the Rey de Reyes winner.

Mr. Iguana talks to La Hiedra in the back. She is really happy to see him. Lola Vice walks in, looking a lot thinner than usual. She hugs Iguana. La Hiedra seems to get mad.La Hiedra kisses Iguana then leaves then Lola kisses Iguana and leaves. Pimpinella Escarlata then tries to kiss Iguana and gives him some kind green and black ref shirt. This had no subtitles.

The Psycho Circus is getting hyped up in the back.

Next week's show has La Hiedra vs Lola Vice with Mr. Iguana as the special ref and a qualifier for Rey de Reyes with Parka/Aero/Jack/Apollo

AAA World Tag Team Title Four Way Match - Pagano & Psycho Clown (c) vs. The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) vs. Nueva Generacion Dinamita (Forastero & Sanson) vs. Tokyo Bad Boys (Kento & Takuma)

Kento and Clown go at it. Clown flying headscissors him and they armdrag each other. Clown sweeps him and they stand off. Alex and Fora go at it. Alex chops him. Fora shoulders him over. Fora rolls him and Alex hiptosses him. Alex trips him into an armlock.

Alex chops Fora. Pag and Takuma get in. Takuma hits kicks and shotei's him. Pag does a chinlock. Pag boots him then hits a nasty headhunter for 2. Pag 2nd rope diving codebreakers him and cutters him.

San and Sabin go at it. Sabin armdrags him. San trips him then hip throw him. San wristlocks him. Sabin flying snapmares him. San shoulders him over. Sabin crucifixes him. Sabin dropkicks him.

Clown and Sabin push each other. Pag and Alex then push each other. All 4 get pulled. Clown goes into the post and Pag goes into the steps. We go to the back and Panic Clown is down and out. Kento takes lariats from The Gun's. Kento spears Alex then rebound germans Sabin. Clown pop-up forearms Kento. Pag hits a double headhunter on the Japanese. Fora and San get hit by Pag's team. They then take a corner meteora and a corner dropkick.

Kento boots Alex. Kento is atomic dropped and held for a baseball slide. NGD hit shots on The Gun's and facekick them. NGD are sent out. The Gun's hit baseball slides on them. Sabin topes NGD outside. The Japanese are caught off the top by Clown and Pag and take stereo air raid crashes. Clown pins Kento to win.

Thoughts:
It wasn't quite as fast paced and wild as I had hoped. I think that was more due to the bookers setting it this way. Takuma didn't get to do a lot of his cool stuff. I thought NGD looked good. Pagano and Clown were the big focus here and ended up winning. This was just acceptable only.

We go to the back. Clown and Pagano are told by their buddies that Panic Clown was hurt and they see him put in the ambulance.

Overall thoughts: It wasn't quite as good as last week's episode. This is the problem when you have large tapings like they did here - the wrestlers don't get to go all out like they would on a standalone show. What we got was fine though. Mini Vikingo was the standout on this show as expected with his high flying and his match was the best on the show. We also got more subtitles this week which was good, though Mr. Iguana's segment was missing them. I'd give this a 6 out of 10. There was nothing wrong with this show and it was alright.
