EPW Wrestling 1/10/2026 Episode #224

Gene Jackson and Joey Gross are on commentary. They hype up the show. 

The Order are interviewed by Allen Pounds. Hollywood Jimmy says The Order are the hottest thing going in EPW. He says they are at the top of the mountain and nobody will take them off the map. Jimmy accuses the fans the announcers of being against them. He says The Order is the best. He says Eli Knox is the best and says he beat the heck out of Aaron Roberts. He puts out Izzy Rotten and Ethan Ross as the tag champs and tells the fans to respect them. He then talks about the EPW champ Dorian Vain. He says he's 6'4, 240lbs of muscle. He says he's the greatest champ in EPW history. 

He says Vain is facing Cabana Man Dan. He says Dan doesn't have a chance and will never take this away from him. He says he's the greatest champ EPW has ever had. He says nobody can beat him. He says the people will never be as good as The Order. He says you dream it and they live it. He says The Order is the greatest and the best. 

Elijah Owens vs Chuck Swann vs CJ Blaine

CJ rolls up Swann for 2. Eli hits punches on CJ. CJ is hiptossed into Eli and hits a hurricanrana off of it. CJ corner dropkicks Eli. Swann running knees Eli for 2. Swann teases a dive on CJ then Eli hits him from behind. CJ top rope dropkicks Eli.

Swann uranages CJ for 2. Eli flying knees Swann. Eli is superkicked by CJ. Swann does a bad slingblade bulldog on CJ. Eli headbutt drops Swann in the crotch then pins CJ.

Thoughts: This wasn't that good. They botched the finish and Eli falling into Swann's crotch to pick up the pin was a bit silly. It was a shorter out too and we just maybe hit the middle of this as it ended.

Cody James vs Big John Dalton

They lock up. CJ wristlocks him. John reverses it and elbows the arm. CJ side headlocks him. CJ flying back elbows him. John hits punches on CJ and does a wind up punch. John hits mounted corner punches on CJ. The Order come in and attack both for the DQ.

Thoughts: We didn't get much of this one before the run-in finish.

The Order continue beating up the two. Chris Styles comes out with a chair and he hits The Order with it. The Order go out of the ring. 

Grayson Pierce vs Hunter Drake

Drake slaps him when GP goes for the handshake. Drake pump kicks > springboard kicks > standing moonsaults him for 1. Drake's back is pulled down over the top rope. Drake cradles him for 2. Drake hits kicks out of the corner, buzzsaw kicks him and forearms him. 

Drake misses a 2nd rope moonsault and is hit with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. They go to the apron. GP piledrivers him over the 2nd rope, buckle bombs him and running facekicks him for 2. 

Drake spin kicks him in the gut. Drake hits a code red for 2. Drake topes him outside. GP goes into the front row. He double throat thrusts Drake then springboard forearms him off the rail. GP springboards inside and is caught with a superkick. 

Drake gets on GP's back, goes for a code red but GP holds onto the ropes and pins him.

Thoughts: I wasn't a big fan of this. They rushed like crazy here. Drake's stand on the back code red doesn't look good at all and he tried it twice here. This was too fast. 

We see clips of a Diana Taylor interview. Raven Black attacks her from behind and send each other into the wall. We then see them brawl at ringside. Refs break it up.

Rav spears her before the bell rings. Rav hits a big punch then boots her in the corner. Rav chokes her in the corner then hits punches. Rav suplexes her. Rav chinlocks her.

Rav lariats her down for 2. Rav butt drops DT's back and clubs her. Rav double axe handles her back then stomps her. Rav bodyscissors her then pulls on her arm. Rav hits punches ot the ribs. DT back elbows her to escape. DT hits mounted punches. We go to break and return.

Rav blocks a boot and slams her for 2. Rav ddt's her. Rav then gets a 2 count on her. Rav clubs on her. DT snapmare drivers her for the win.

Thoughts: It wasn't bad. Raven roughed up DT a bit. DT kind of won easy though as her snapmare driver was really the only move she did here.

Cabana Man Dan is interviewed. He's on his retirement tour. Dan says he's excited to have part of his retirement tour run through here. The Order come in. Dorian Vain asks who told him he was allowed to be here without asking. He asks who he thinks he is. Dan says he'd hate for Vain's title to go home with him on his retirement tour forever. Joey asks if they got a title match and Vain says absolutely. 

Dorian Vain vs Cabana Man Dan

Hollywood Jimmy is with DV. They lock up. DV backs him up in the corner and he doesn't let Dan escape. Dan hits shots to the gut then flying corner spears him. Dan goes up and over. DV blocks an armdrag. Dan leg lariats him for 2. Dan's 2nd rope ddt is blocked and DV running lariats him. We go to break and return.

DV hits punches and knees in the corner. DV clubs on him. DV kneels on him on the 2nd rope. Hollywood Jimmy then chokes Dan on the ropes. DV underhook suplexes Dan for 2.

DV hits punches in the corner. Dan is thrown hard into the buckles. Dan knee's him out of the corner. DV catches him off the 2nd rope. Dan 2nd rope tornado ddt's him for 2. Dan russian legsweeps him then double mule kicks him for 2. 

Dan is pushed chest first into the buckles. Dan tries to grab his flip flop but DV grabs it first. Dan blocks a shot with the flip flop. The Order come in and Dan hits them with a flip flop. The ref then calls for a DQ.

Thoughts: This is our 2nd run-in on a 4 match show so that wasn't real fun. The match was okay and made sense. Dan is way too small though and it was hard to buy him being able to do anything against Vain.

Dan fights The Order after. The Order then beat up on him. Aaron Roberts comes in. Vain gets left alone in the ring. Roberts gets behind him. They stare down. Jimmy pulls Vain away.

Overall thoughts: It wasn't one of my favorite episodes of this show. We had 2 run-in finishes and nothing was that great here. The women's match was the best match of the night and I wouldn't call that a classic. They did further some stories here though as it's clear that Vain and Roberts will be going at it and Chris Styles will be paying at some point for what he did. I'd give this a low 5 out 10 and wouldn't recommend it.
