Stacks running euros KJ then twisting neckbreakers him. BDE os cutters Stacks. EY wheelbarrow neckbreakers BDE. EY piledrivers KJ. Stacks throws EY out and pins KJ.
Thoughts: It was a decent bout here. They had a fast pace and there was a ton going on here. KJ had a good night here and it's hard to argue against him not being in the X-Division in its current state. KJ getting in a title match after returning wasn't good booking though.
Santino is upset in the back at Stacks winning. Santino and Daria Rae argue. Daria Rae gets mad at him and says Santino tried to punish Stacks in the 4-way. Daria Rae says Stacks proved that he belongs here. Satino says understood as she walks away.
We see footage of a confrontation from earlier in the day. Tessa Blanchard's crew arrive and annoy people. They run into Vicki Veunuto. They are rude to her and ask her to carry their bags and pick up an empty up. Indi Hartwell comes in to defend Vicki. Indi says her and Vicki can team up and take down these b!tches.
The Personal Concierge George Iceman talks in the ring. He brings out Heather, M and Mr. Elegance. George says to take a look at excellence and elegance. He says they look incredible. He says Dallas' fans smell like pigs. He says they will sit front row in seats nobody can afford.
Pre-show - Tessa Blanchard and Mila Moore vs "Vicious" Vicki Venuto and Indi Hartwell

Indi tags in. She lariats Tess. Tess superkicks her in the gut and Indi facekicks her. Indi spinebsuters Mila then Tess for 2. Victoria Crawford crotches VV up top. Indi goes after Victoria outside and steps on M By Elegance's foot. M hits her and they fight. Indi is then stopped from getting in. Tess hammerlock ddt's VV and pins her.
Thoughts: The heels worked VV's leg all match long. She tagged out and that was the end of it. We then had a bunch of shenanigans for the finish. It was average but VV did okay without botching anything.
Main show
Romeo Vaugh sings the national anthem.

AJ goes for a styles clash and is hit with a canadian destroyer. Rich frogsplashes him for 2. AJ does a reverse chokeslam then a regular chokeslam for the win.
Thoughts: They did a little much here. That throw over the top that Rich took on his face should have taken him out. AJ should have also not been able to kick out of the canadian destroyer. They had the right idea otherwise though. I'm not loving Rich losing here. He just turned face and is getting off to a cold start with a loss.
Gia Miller interviews Mike Santana. Mike has odd facepaint on. Mike says he thrives in this pressure tonight in the Texas death match. He gives a shout to his family and friends after he won the title. He says he will show why he is the illest and realest to ever do it.

She ejects him but of course doesn't DQ Ali. The Great Hands get ejected as well. Tasha Steelz gets in the ring with a guitar. Eli goes to tombstone her. Ali hits Eli with the guitar and pins him.
Thoughts: It was a dumb match. Ali should have been DQ'd for his buddies pulling the ref out but wasn't and Eli lost off of it. Eli looked a little better than usual here but it wasn't anything too special. I didn't like Eli losing here right after his return.
JDC vs Eddie Edwards
This is JDC's retirement match. The System come out together and everyone stands up and claps for JDC.

Eddie superkicks im in the face then cross-legged brainbusters him. Eddie shining wizards him and wins.
Thoughts: It was a longer and slower bout. I can't say I found it super interesting though it's not like it was awful. JDC got put down in the end as expected.
The System come out and console JDC. The roster claps for JDC on the stage.
TNA Injury Report
Eiljah is being evaluated. Steve Maclin is out. The Hardy's are cleared but not 100%.
Ryan Nemeth vs Mara Sade
It was short and basically a joke as expected. Mara was treated as the underdog and Ryan ended up cheating to win, because this promotion is obsessed with turning him into a complete joke. I don't think anyone wanted to see this and I'm glad it's over.
Arianna Grace and Stacks do a promo. Grace says Stacks won with the odds stacked against him tonight. She says it was a decision that Santino made with his ego instead of his brains. Stacks says he won and is shoving it in Santino's face. Grace says Santino needs to make better decisions as he has lost his daughter and will soon lose his job to Daria Rae.

Heather and M By Elegance come out to watch. Zar hits a big spear on Lee inside. Zar F-5's her but the ref is hit when she does the move. Sol Ruca tries to wake the ref out. Xia Brookisde then comes in. Heather and M come down and get hit. Sol crossbodies them off the steps and Xia plancha's them off the 2nd rope.

Thoughts: Zar was a last minute replacement. She wasn't expected to win and didn't. What we got was acceptable but it never really got to being that great. the shenanigans in the middle of this were a bit random and didn't really add anything to this. The crowd got into this near the end when they were trading strikes.
Zar and Lee hug after. Elayna Black comes out and her and Lee mouth off to each other.
Nic Nemeth does a promo. He says chaos goes down tonight and he's in total control. He says a 10 count decides who the champ is. He says may the best man win.

Dutch gets on the mic and says this is exactly what they wanted. Dutch says they want to hurt. Matt hits a twist of fate on Vince. Jeff top rope swantons Vince and pins him.
Thoughts: I didn't really get this one. The Righteous lost in their first match here, ending whatever little credibility they had. I don't get what Dutch was talking about on the mic either. The match was acceptable and I liked seeing the heels do some of The Hardy's moves, but it was nothing particularly memorable. I thought they had a chance to do some creative stuff with the uniqueness of this feud but they just had a mostly normal match.
Dutch gives The Hardy's the tag titles after.
The announcers talk about Leon Slater being on SD and not here. Leon then does a video. He apologizes for not being around at the AMC debut or at the PPV today. He thanks Joe Hendry for taking his spot. He says he will make sure Moose and Cedric get their shot at his X-Title as soon as he is back.

Ced takes a facekick from Moose and lariats him. Ced springboards and Moose spears him in mid-air for 2. Ced lumbar checks Ced and Joe pins Ced with a standing ovation.
Thoughts: Odd booking here, but that's TNA for you. Joe isn't on the roster anymore and was randomly thrown in here yet wins over people like Ced and Moose who will be here weekly. Moose has been doing a bunch of jobs here for unknown reasons and lost again here. I don't know what happened with the spot with Moose being down for a while outside. Ced and Joe seemed confused as to what to do when it happened so I don't think it was planned. It was a decent match and sadly one of the best matches of the night up to this point.
Santino Marella comes out to talk. He says the main even is for all the cheese. He brings out the pre-show panel for predictions for the main. Santino, Ash, Dave and Gia pick Mike Santana. Daria Rae comes out before Dreamer picks. She says nobody cares about Dreamer's pick and says we need to get to the main event. She then shows us a video package and the segment ends. LOL.
TNA World Title - Texas Deathmatch - Mike Santana (c) vs Frankie Kazarian
Nic Nemeth is the special ref. This is actually under true Texas Deathmatch rules where you need to win the fall then your opponent has to answer the 10 count. Mike still has facepaint on. Nic has very short shorts on and a sleeveless ref shirt.
Kaz slides out to start. Mike chases him and they trade shots in the ring. Mike spin kicks him in the gut then superkicks him. Mike misses a kick on the ropes and they go to the apron. Mike beats the count and is sent into the steps.
Kaz grabs a ladder from under the ring and sets it up inside near a table. Mike gets in the ring with a barbed wire baseball bat. Mike misses a bat shot. Mike hits him in the gut with the bat then sticks it into Kaz's head. Mike cradle shocks Kaz. Kaz is put on a table. Mike climbs the ladder and top rope splashes Kaz through the table. Kaz somehow kicks out at 2.
Mike and Kaz double clothesline each other. Kaz spits on Mike. Mike wraps his arm in barbed wire and spinning lariats Kaz. Mike pins Kaz. Kaz almost gets up at 9 but falls and Mike wins.
Thoughts: It was a fine main event. They brawled around the building, they went through tables and did floor moves. It wasn't anything great or super memorable but they did enough here for the main event. Mike won as expected.
Nic Nemeth raises Mike's hand after and hits a danger zone on him. Nic calls for a ref down so he can cash in his "Call Your Shot" trophy. Mike spinning lariats Nic as the ref comes down. Nic doesn't cash in. Mike poses on a downed Nemeth to close the show.
Overall thoughts: It was a long one at 4 hours (if you count the pre-show). The booking for this was very bad going in and they didn't have a lot to work with in that regard. I liked the 4-way pre-show opener. Swann/AJ had the right idea but did too much. Elijah lost to Ali in what I thought was a match with a dumb finish. JDC/Eddie just wasn't that interesting and was slow and long. Ryan/Sade was a joke as expected. Lei/Zaria was average. The Righteous lost against The Hardy's which did nothing for their credibility and we had a weird ending with Dutch telling The Hardy's they got what they wanted before losing. I can't say I got that match. The 3-way semi-main was one of the better matches of the night. Moose was out for half of it and I can't say if it was a work or not. The main was a good enough main with them taking floor bumps, going through tables and them both trying to put something respectable on. Mike won as expected. Nemeth tried to cash in but didn't get to.
I would give this a 5 out of 10 and that may be generous. I found this show to be skippable and it shouldn't have really happened in the first place. The main and semi-main were alright enough but the card was just so messed up from people leaving or not being available that this was never going to be great. This week was supposed to be a big week for TNA but it felt like a return to the LOLTNA Era with almost everything going wrong. I can't say I'm excited for what's ahead.

What is with Lei Ying always gets these last-minute replacements matches lol but she's improved a lot to still performer at a high level with so little time to prepare

DeleteTNA should just advertise replacement matches at this point. It has become a staple of the PPV/PLE cards. And I have no idea why.
