WWE Monday Night Raw 7/27/2026

WWE Monday Night Raw 7/27/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/07/wwe-monday-night-raw-7202026.html

We are in Los Angeles, CA. Corey Graves and Michael Cole are on commentary.

Hell in A Cell drops down. Triple H and Adam Pearce are in the ring and Oba Femi comes out. They have Oba Femi stand on a scale for the weigh-in. He weighs 302lbs.

Brock Lesnar then comes out. He chains HIAC shut. Oba goes up to the door and yells at him as Brock laughs. Paul Heyman says allowing Brock in HIAC isn't a good idea because he's the most violent and successful athlete in combat sports. Paul says Oba is an underdog. Paul's mic keeps cutting out. Paul says Oba can't beat Brock in HIAC. Paul says Brock weighs 303lbs. Oba yells at Brock more from the cell. Brock says, "I'll see you at Summerslam, b!tch". Oba tells him to runaway like he always does. Oba says Saturday is coming, HIAC is coming and Oba Femi is coming. Oba says he's not locked in there with Brock but Brock is locked in there with him.
Oba then beats up the guards in the ring for no reason. He sitout powerbombs one of them and punts him in the back.

We get another video on Roman vs Seth.

We see The Uso's, Roman and Jacob Fatu arrive in the parking lot.

The Vision (Bron Breakker and Austin Theory) vs Alpha Academy (Otis and Akira Tozawa)

Otis shoulders Bron then knock him over. Bron is double teamed. Akira pounds on Bron and Bron rams him in the corner. Bron hits corner spears. Akira takes shots in the corner from Austin. Akira 2nd rope diving headscissors Austin. Maxxine Dupri trips up Akira. Bron lariats Akira and Austin running boots Akira out of the ring.

We go to break and return. Bron stomps on Akira then gorilla press gutbusters him for 2. Bron misses a corner spear and goes into the post. Otis tags in and bodyblocks Austin. Otis spinning back elbows him. Otis slams him and corner splashes Bron and Austin. Otis corner splashes both opponents. Otis caterpillar splashes Bron then Akira topes Austin.

Akira top rope sentons but Austin gets his knees up. Otis is sent into the post. Akira is held for a hard spear from Bron. Bron pins Akira.

Thoughts: It was a shorter one but it was fine. The Vision won as expected here. Bron's spear on Akira was pretty stiff. This seems like the end of that feud.

The heels beat up Akira after. Otis saves Akira and beats up on the heels. Otis gets on the ropes and Maxxine distracts Otis. Otis is double powerbombed down. Otis takes a spear + lariat combo. Austin chairs Otis' head while it's against the post.

LA Knight is interviewed. He says people saw he's paranoid and he agrees. He says everything he said would happen has happened. LA says the goal is to put Bloodline 6 feet deep at Summerslam and says it's a fact of life when he puts the BFT on you.

Raquel Rodriguez says there will be no tricks or game with Sol Ruca and she won't let the title slip between her fingers. Sol Ruca says she knows Raquel will pull out all the tricks but she beat her once and will do it again.

We get a video on Chad Gable. He says he chased titles and success until he had nothing left. He says he burned it all down. He says losing everything reminds him of what matters. He says he used to say he needed the title but now he knows why. He says he was born and forced in Minnesota. He says he's walking in as the guy who found himself again with pride, honor and integrity. He says he will take the IC Title as the man he was supposed to be.

Iyo Sky does a promo. She says she's been in Liv's head since Night of Champions. She says she proved her wrong at QOTR and says Liv is not the greatest champion of all time. She says Liv talks a lot as she is scared to lose. She says she's excited to face her at Summerslam. She says she beat her once and will do it again to become women's champ.

Je'Von Evans vs Rusev

Rusev knees him in the gut and hits corner spears. Rusev headbutts him down and lariats him. Evans boots him off the ropes and superkicks him. Evans dropkicks him. Evans seated springboard headscissors him and dropkicks him again.

Evans goes for a dive and is hit. Rusev euros him. Rusev fallaway slams him out of the ring. Rusev is pushed into the post. Evans facekicks him over the timekeeper's rail. Rusev catches his crossbody and throws him over the rail. Evans jumps over the rail onto him. We go to PiP break and return.

Rusev boots him around. Rusev drops him with a shot twcie after taking forearms. Evans hits punches and flurries him in the corner. Evans corkscrew kicks him off the ropes. Evans suicide dives him outside. Rusev matchka kicks him in the ring for 2.

Rusev stomps Evans' back and goes for the camel clutch. Evans flying knees him. Evans' double springboard cutter is caught and Rusev camel clutches him. Evans ropebreaks. Evans ducks a kick and cutters him. Evans double jump springboard cutters him for the win.

Thoughts: Rusev loses yet again. It was an alright match here with Rusev beating up Evans and Evans making his comeback to win. Evans had some nice flying as usual. Evans is stuck in the midcard though and until he can develop a true personality, I don't really see him going anywhere.

We get another Seth vs Roman video.

Joe Hendry and Danhausen do a concert. They sing about Judgment Day and Dan plays piano. They then sing, "I believe that you are cursed". The minihausen's then appear and dance with them. We then see some girls in Danhausen masks dancing. Ryan Garcia, a boxer, then joins in. Ryan then hits Joe in the back with a guitar. Judgment Day then jump Dan. The midgets go after judgment Day and get thrown and kicked down. JD slams one of them and JD hits mounted shots on Dan. Dom frogsplashes Dan and boots him out of the ring.

Thoughts: The crowd didn't like the concert at all and looked very confused. This was very overproduced and went on forever. It was the same situation as Danhausen's debut which completely failed.

Penta does a video. He says he's happy Chad changed. Penta says he's not fighting for revenge but for his legacy and his title.

We get another Big Cass video where they say if you reach rock bottom, the only way is to climb back up. We then get 8/3 on the screen.

Rey Mysterio vs Ethan Page

Page waistlock takedowns him. Rey wristlocks him and Page reverses it. Page side headlocks him and shoulders him over. Page tilt-a-whirl's him but Rey turns it into a body press. Rey flying headscissors Page. Rey escapes a powerbomb and la silla's his chest off of it. Rey is sent into the buckles.

Page pulls Rey's arms back. Rey kicks him in the gut and rolls him outside in the electric chair. Page holds on and apron powerbombs him. We go to break and return.

Page tries to unmask Rey. Rey top rope moonsaults him. Rey step up enzugiri's him and runs into a facekick. Rey sends Page into the post. Rey hits punches and flying headscissors him. Rey hits mounted corner punches. Rey top rope la silla's him. Page catches his springboard and slams him. Rey spinning ddt's him for 2. Rey top rope diving headscissors him outside.

Rey goes for a 619 and Page pulls the ring skirt up. Somehow this blocks it. Page fisherman busters him and wins.

Thoughts: I didn't get the finish at all here but I had no problems with this otherwise. We saw this a few weeks ago and it was solid and this was the same situation here.

Liv Morgan does a video. She says Iyo doesn't understand who she is facing. She says she's "The Live Morgan". She says she was underlooked as she scratched her way to the top. She says she will do anything to stay there. She says you don't care when you have her resume. She says Iyo did beat her at QOTR, but she's not in her head. She says she's not scared of losing to her and is stronger than she thinks.

A nurse checks on the Minihausen's and Danhausen in the back. Adam Pearce comes in and tells Dan to give Dom his money back. Dan says to put the money on a pole. Adam agrees and says it's official for Summerslam.

The Uso's come out to talk. Jey says this is warning shot to Keys, LA and Solo. Solo Sikoa then interrupts from the crowd. Solo says The Bloodline isn't here because it has Solo Sikoa in it. Solo says they have no chance at Summerslam. Jimmy says Bloodline was the best thing that ever happened to him and tells him to run the play or else. Solo mocks them and says he loves where he's at.

Solo says he has his own warning shot and says Roman can kiss his @ss. LA Knight comes out. LA says Solo feels the same as him and they both want to knock their heads off at Summerslam. LA says the talking is done and they've got 5 days. LA says or they could stomp then out LA style. LA and Solo then head in and they all fight.

LA and Solo get the edge in the fight. Jacob Fatu comes out and the faces double team him. Fatu fights them off and hits corner hip attacks on them. Bloodline get the edge then Royce Keys comes out. Keys no sells a Jey superkick and lariats him. Keys and Fatu trade shots and Keys lariats him. Fatu tongan death grips him. Solo samoan spikes Fatu and Keys spinebusters Fatu. LA hits a BFT on Fatu and Bloodline leaves.

Thoughts: Stuff like this is a smaller burial of Bloodline. These guys are taking all these shots for Roman and Roman doesn't even bother to come out to help them.

Sol kips down out of a facekicks. Sol flips out of a hiptoss and facebusters her for 2. RR overhead throws her. RR hits back elbows in the corner. Sol standing moonsaults her for 2. RR lariats her down. We see Lyra Valkyria watching in the back and looking homeless.

RR clubs Sol down then leg chokes her over the 2nd rope. Sol hurricanrana's her into the ropes and superkicks her out. Sol top rope moonsaults her outside.

Sol throws her in for 2. RR's nose is busted open. Sol's top rope crossbody is caught and RR suplexes her chest first.

RR foot chokes Sol on the bottom rope. RR corner splashes her then slams her for 2. Sol hits her in the gut and RR shoulders her over for 2. RR pounds on her then does a chin and arm hold. Sol boots her off the ropes. Sol pulls her arms back and backcrackers her with her feet.

Sol hits shots to the gut and chops her. Sol uppercuts her. Sol flips out of a back body drop and basement dropkicks her. Sol shiranui's her. Sol running knees her for 2. Sol's springboard is caught and Sol pulls RR's neck down over the top rope. Sol top rope cartwheels into a ddt on RR for 2.

Roxanne Perez comes out and Sol kicks her. Liv Morgan trips Sol. RR facekicks Sol for 2. Iyo Sky comes out. Liv drops Iyo with a shot and pounds on her. Iyo is sent into the rails. Liv is sent into the post. Sol codebreakers RR. Iyo meteora's Liv against the post.

Sol goes for a sol snatcher and is tripped. RR then pins Sol.

Thoughts
: Sol injures yet another person. I don't know how this keeps happening when she didn't do this kind of stuff in NXT. This is really more of a "thank you" run than anything else for Raquel, as she has lost to everyone dozens of times. As far as her being featured to being over ratio, Raquel is pretty low on that one. Sol injuring RR is really all that most people were going to focus on here. The finish didn't help this one either and it was average.

We get another Roman vs Seth video.

Roman Reigns comes out. Seth comes out before Roman can get a second sentence out. Seth says to "acknowledge me". Roman says Seth is an @sshole and Seth says he's guilty. Seth says he's a bad guy when it comes to them. Seth says some of us get everything handed to them and start on 3rd base. Seth says people like him gotta grind and hustle.

Seth says Roman is everything he says he is and is the biggest star. Seth says Roman has an edge on him in many departments, but says Roman will never be better than him at wrestling. Seth says he's owns him in the ring and owns him mentally. Seth says Roman can call him an @sshole but he can't call him a liar. Seth asks if Roman thinks things will be different and asks if Roman has changed.

Seth asks if Roman will get himself DQ'd or if he will call in Bloodline. Seth says Roman says he needs to beat him, but he doesn't stand a chance. Roman says Seth doesn't get it. Roman says he's the only real superstar and the only true champ around here. Roman says he needs to beat him.

Seth says he suckered him into this match. Seth says Roman said he needed his family here to see him win. Seth says he hopes Roman's family is there on Sunday as he wants to see them cry again. He says they will figure out their dad is a loser, a fraud and Seth Rollins' b!tch. Roman gets made and beats up on Seth. Roman hits mounted shots then superman punches him. Roman spears him. Roman grabs a chair but Seth curbstomps him.

Thoughts
: It was nice to see Seth get a little over Roman here after being dragged for weeks. Too little too late though.

Overall thoughts: The big shows are this weekend so this had more wrestling to fill time. The opener was fine but it's a waste of Bron. Rusev lost yet again in an okay match with Evans. We had a disaster of a Hendry/Danhausen concert. Rey/Page was fine. Sol injured Raquel and lost her title. We then had more Seth/Roman stuff to close the show. I'd give hit a low 6 out of 10 as what we got was alright enough, but it wasn't that great. This was acceptable. Evans/Rusev was the MOTN.
