CMLL 7/10/2026 Viernes Escpectacular

The announcer talks in the ring with the trios titles and ROH Tag Titles on pedestals.

Full Metal, Pequeno Polvora and Rostro de Acero vs Pequeno Volador Jr., Mercurio and Minos II

Merc's team all wore Depradadores mask out and all of them wore white, blue and gold Volador colors.

Minos and Metal go at it. Minos takes him down, stands on his back and pulls his arm. Metal plants off the buckles and armdrags him. Metal basement dropkicks him. Polv springboard crossbodies Minos then back body drops him. They botch a springboard bodyscissors spot. Vol springboard diving headscissors Polv.

Vol handstand walks and spinning reverse headscissors Polv. Acero comes in and spinning heel kicks Vol. Acero AA's him then chops Merc. Merc slaps him. Acero backrolls and is kicked in the butt. Acero is triple stomped by his opponents. Acero is lariated and booted down. 

Vol is held in the catapult position outside and takes a slingshot crossbody. Metal comes in and pumping knees Merc. Merc takes a double back elbow. Merc is then held in the air for a top rope crossbody. Mino trips over Acero. Acero pulls Minos out. Minos takes a suplex + tope combo on the floor.

Vol springboard crossbodies his opponents. Vol is popped up into a headscissors on Polv. Acero is triple stomped on. Acero is then held for a top rope dropkick to the butt. Metal takes a triple team drop on his chest then a double superkick.

Polv is held in the air for a codebreaker and a top rope double stomp to the back. Minos and Vol get dropkicked out. Their opponents then hit triple dives on them. Metal's team is sent out and they take triple dives outside. Vol's team then all kick out of pins inside. Metal's team is stacked up on top of each other and Minos springboard splashes all of them for 2 counts.

Acero slingshot plancha's Minos outside and Vol slingshot plancha's an opponent outside. Polv top rope plancha's outside and Metal backbreakers Merc on the shoulder for 2. Metal misses a top rope swanton. Merc ties his legs up and pulls his arms back. Merc  then submits him. Mercurio's team wins the match.

Thoughts: It was alright. We got a fair bit of flying here and some triple team spots. It could have maybe flowed a bit better though. We didn't see a lot of Mercurio in this.

Mexican National Trios Title Match - Los Herederos (El Cobarde, Felino Jr. & Hijo de Stuka Jr.) (c) vs. Los Forajidos (El Coyote, Polvora & Vaquero Jr.)

Coy and Stuka go at it. Coy side headlock takeovers him. They trade holds and Coy armdrags him. Fel and Vaq go at it. Fel takes him down and they trade holds. Fel armdrags him. Fel leglocks him and everyone breaks the hold up. the heels stomp on Fel in the corner. Stuka pop up drops Vaq. Stuka and Cob are crotched up top and Coy hurricanrana's Fel for 2. 

Vaq's team misses a corner charges. Coy is sent out and Cob topes him. Fel powerslams Pol for 2. Vaq takes a double back elbow then Cob is popped up into a dropkick on him. Stuka stands on his partners shoulders and splashes Coy. Pol is triple stomped by the heels. Pol's team makes their comeback and Vaq tope con hilos through the ropes. Pol and Coy get stereo 2 counts. 

Coy is popped up into a double dropkick on the heels. Stuka is clubbed on the ropes. Stuka is held in the arm for a springboard dropkick to the butt for 2. Coy pounds on Fel in the corner. Fel takes a double boot then a triple team alabama slam. Fel is catapulted into a double dropkick for 2.

Cob rolls up Vaq for 2. Cob blue thunders him for 2. Vaq cradle shocks Cob for 2. Cob dropkicks Vaq out then topes him. Stuka spinning sitout cut throat torture rack bombs Pol for 2. Pol 2nd rope dominators Stuka for 2. Stuka powerbombs Pol on the rail top. Fel suplexes Coy for 2. 

Fel takes a magic screw from Coy for 2. Coy tope con hilos Fel outside. Stuka comes off the top and Pol gets his feet up. Pol lariats Stuka over the top. Pol is hiptossed over the top by Cob. Vaq lariats Cob on the apron. Fel superkicks Vaq out. Coy chops Pol on accident on the apron. Coy is tripped and Fel la magistral's him for the win.

Thoughts: It got a lot of time but wasn't that good. I would say this was average. The flow just wasn't there for this and it got a little hard to follow near the end with so many people coming in and out.

Star Jr. and Dragon Rojo Jr. vs Zandokan Jr. and Barbaro Cavernario

1st Fall - Star dropkicks Zand. Barb pop up knees Star. Rojo and Barb chop each other. Barb drops him with punches. Rojo dropkicks Barb. Rojo plancha's Barb outside. star springboard crossbodies Zand then flails on him. Star is popped up and reverse headscissors Zand down. Star pins Zand. Star Jr.'s team wins the first fall.

2nd Fall - Rojo and Barb hockey fight. They trade chops. Barb kicks Rojo in the leg. Rojo pulls Barb's hair and lifts him up by it. Rojo then hair drags him and dropkicks him out. Zand chops Star. Zand is pushed into Barb. Star walks up the ropes and hits a diving headscissors + armdrag combo. Star goes for a tope, gets caught and is double slammed on the floor. 

Barb giant swings Rojo then Zand basement dropkicks Rojo as he swings. Barb springboard splashes Rojo and pins him. Zandokan Jr.'s  team wins the fall.

3rd Fall - Zand sends Star into the post. Zand puts his flag over Rojo's head and Rojo is hit with a triple dropkick. Barb and Rojo pound on each other inside and Zand slams Star on the ramp. Barb hits mounted shots on Rojo in the corner. Barb is dropkicked out. Star springboard diving headscissors Zand then tope con hilos him outside.

Rojo top rope crossbodies Barb then rolls him up for 2. Barb la rosa suplexes Rojo. Rojo chops Barb down and gets a 2 count on him. Rojo is pulled out and Barb chops him. Star spinebusters Zand for 2 and Barb pulls the ref's leg to break it up. Zand misses a low blow on Star then pretends Star low blowed him. The ref stupidly believes Zand. Zandokan Jr.'s team wins the fall via DQ. Zandokan Jr.'s team wins the match.

Thoughts: The whole point of this was to put over that the two teams hate each other and are feuding. They did that. It wasn't anything too great and the finish was really stupid with the ref just blindly believing Zand without seeing what happened. 

Star gets on the mic after and wants revenge. Zand talks on the mic and says the people saw that they fouled him. The crowd chants "foul" with him.  

Templario, Titan and Flip Gordon vs Ultimo Guerrero, Volador Jr. and Ikuro Kwon

Kwon nails Temp on the ramp. UG whips Temp with his clothing. Temp is put up top and UG pulls on his mask. Temp is swept on the apron and takes a baseball slide out. Flip is triple teamed and is tripped into a basement dropkick and kicks to the head. Titan takes corner lariats then a superkick from Vol. Temp springboards in and takes a UG back elbow. 

Temp handspring double back elbows the heels. Temp topes UG outside. Flip finlay rolls Kwon and asai moonsaults him. Titan springboard splashes Kwon for 2. Flip goes up and over Vol then 2nd rope diving headscissors him. Flip superkicks UG in the gut and pele kicks him. Flip springboard dropkicks UG.

Flip springboard slingblades Kwon. Flip 619's Kwon in the gut. Flip top rope diving blockbusters Kwon. Temp superkicks Vol. Temp and Kwon hit corner attacks on each other and Temp step up enzugiri's him. UG comes in and Temp flying headscissors him.

Titan and UG trade corner lariats and Titan flying kicks him. Titan walks up the buckles, does rope tricks and flying headscissors Vol down. Titan then topes him. Flip hits a tope outside. UG is on the 2nd rope and he gordbusters Temp down. Kwon leg lariats Temp from behind and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a bit of random one with Kwon in here. What we got was acceptable but it wasn't going to be anything more due to where it was on the card and due to the amount of time it got. 

Kwon gets on the mic after. He says he came alone and wants Temp's MLW Middleweight Title. He hits him and says it's his last battle. Temp gets on the mic and says he wants to fight Ultimo Guerrero instead. He says he won't back down from Kwon's challenge though. He says he will then finish Ultimo.

Blue Panther vs Claudio Castagnoli

CC pushes him down on the lock up. Blue waistlocks him and CC back elbows him down. CC stomps him and euros him down. CC running euros Blue. CC misses a charge and Blue chops him. CC drops him from behind with a forearm. CC boots BP onto the stage. Blue fights back on the stage and CC slams him there.

CC chops him. Blue is sat up top and almost falls down. Blue comes off the 2nd rope and diving headlock takeovers him. Blue goes for a tope outside and CC euros him. Blue is sent into the rails then facekicked against them. 

CC is pushed into the post. Blue running lariats him against the rails. CC running lariats him over the rails and slowly goes with him. Blue climbs the announcer's stand and crossboies CC over the rail off of it. They trade shots on the apron. CC facekicks him then suplexes him. 

They go onto the ramp and Blue back body drops him off a neutralizer attempt. BP climbs the steps on the stage and plancha's CC. BP 2nd rope twisting crossbodies him inside. BP spinebusters him for 2. CC euros him over for 2. Blue gets a 2 count on him and CC pounds on him.

Blue hits running lariats on CC in the ring. CC giant swings him then neutralizer's him. CC pins him.

Thoughts: Some of Blue's limitations were apparent here as things slowed down at times. They had the right idea, but the match went longer than it needed to and the extra length hurt this some. It was acceptable but with a few minutes cut off, it would have been a lot better.

ROH Tag Titles - Mistico and Mascara Dorada (c) vs Angel de Oro and Niebla Roja

CMLL gives Oro and Roja a plaque for 20 years of service. Oro and Roja are wearing their old Angel de Oro and Angel de Plata masks and outfits here...which also happen to be the same colors Mist and MD are wearing.

MD and Oro eat superkicks to start. Mist armdrags Roja and Roja shoulders him over. Mist reverse headbutts him. Mist walks up the buckles and does a springboard diving corkscrew armdrag. Oro gets in and Mist boots him. MD springboard crossbodies Oro. MD corkscrew headscissors Oro. Roja comes in and rolls into a headscussors on MD.

Mist spinning headscissors Roja. Mist and MD hit stereo topes out. Oro and Roja then hit stereo topes on them outside. Mist is double teamed in the ring. Mist takes a spinebuster into a slingshot swanton. Mist is double superkicked to the ramp.

MD is popped up into a kick from Roja. Mist is popped up into a diving headcissors on Oro. MD springboard tornillo armdrags Roja. MD and Mist hit slingshot tornillos outside. MD and Oro go at it. MD flying headscissors him and is flipped into a reverse headscissors on Roja. MD flips off the top into an armdrag on Oro. MD spinning headscossors Roja out. Mist and Oro go at it in the ring. Mist is tripped by Roja then double stomped on. 

Oro is pushed into Roja. Mist springboard diving headscissors Oro. Mist spinning headscissors Roja down. Mist springboard headscissors Roja. then he slingshot diving headscissors him outside. MD wraps around the post and headscissors Roja outside.

Mist code red's Oro for 2. Roja lifting drops Mist on his chest for 2. MD electric chair neckbreakers Roja for 2. Oro michinoku drivers MD for 2. Mist and MD are crotched up top. Both take basement dropkicks for 2 counts. Roja and Oro are both on the 2nd rope. Mist and MD springboard hurricanrana them down together.

Mist takes a michinoku driver and MD is dropped on him from the 2nd rope for 2. Mist and Roja trade forearms. Mist hits kicks on him. MD steps up off of Mist and diving headscissors Roja off the apron. Mist springboard crossbodies Oro and then la mistica's him. Oro taps out and Mist's team wins.

Thoughts: Both teams have titles here so someone had to lose and it was the heels. Oro's mask was a downgrade for him here while Roja looked better mask. What we got was fine with them doing a lot of flying. It is hard to show emotion though when your face is covered and everyone had their face covered here.

Oro and Roja put the belts on their opponents after and take off their own masks.

The announcer talks to close the show as usual.

Overall thoughts: The opener was fine. The second match got a lot of time but was just average. The 3rd match wasn't that great and just continued to push the feud between those two teams. Templario's match was acceptable as was the Claudio vs Blue Panther match. The main was fine. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 as nothing was too great here. It just wasn't CMLL's best night even though the card was decent looking. This was average.
