We see Kam Hendrix reacting to being pulled off of LFG. Matt Bloom says Kam used it as fuel. Kam says he has new gear and is finally just being himself. Kam says he's excited to be back and take over.
Kevin Owens, Matt Bloom, Booker T and Bubba Ray Dudley talk. Booker has PJ Vasa vs Wendy Choo. Matt says he wants PJ to be consistent with her physicality and urgency. Bubba has Elijah Holyfield vs Chris Island. Bubba says Eli is a star in the making and he wishes he could say the same thing about Chris. Bloom says Chris needs to dive into who he is. Bubba says he will give Chris his best. Owens has Kam Hendrix vs Shady Elnahas. They say it's Shady's first time competing in a crowd, which I don't believe is true.
Jazz helps Choo and PJ practice. Choo says she coaches the newer girls and says being on LFG is a fun experience. PJ says she wants to show that she's nasty and wants to bully her. Booker talks to the girls. Booker says your loss has to be better than your wins. PJ says she needs to put Choo over. Booker says PJ needs to show her vulnerability.
PJ Vasa vs Wendy Choo
We are at the Evolve arena for this.
Choo shoves her and is thrown down backwards. Choo hits chops and PJ bodyblocks her. We go to break and return. Choo hits kicks and running knees her. Choo's give is caught and she is rammed back first into the post. Choo's head is banged off the apron.
PJ butt drops Choo's back. PJ hits corner spears on Choo's back. PJ corner splashes her from behind. PJ backdrops her for 2. PJ knees her in the back and pulls her arms back. Choo flips forward and double upkicks her. Choo hits forearms. PJ misses a corner spear.
Choo hits running lariats and dropkicks her. Choo pepsi twist lariats her. Choo cartwheel forearms her in the corner. Choo 2nd rope crossbodies her for 2. PJ suplexes Choo. PJ splashes Choo's back for 2. PJ stands on Choo's back. Choo hits her on the buckles. Choo 2nd rope superplexes her for the win.
Thoughts: PJ didn't get a lot in here but the match mostly went fine otherwise. The finish could have been a little better. Choo had an okay showing.
Booker T talks to PJ and Choo after. He says he needs to feel PJ's spirit as soon as she comes out. Booker says she did a good job. Booker says they did nothing but made it mean something. Coo says she loved the match. PJ says being in the ring with her made her feel comfortable.
Bubba talks to Chris Island and Elijah Holyfield. Bubba asks who Chris is and Chris says he's the one. Bubba says Chris doesn't know who he is and says then he and the fans don't know who he is. Bubba says he needs to be a fighter who has had it rough. Eli says they are trying to get Chris' aggressiveness out. Chris says only he and Eli knock people out on this roster. Bubba says everything Eli does needs to be bigger. Bubba says Eli is a face. Bubba says no shine and says to go straight to the comeback here. Bubba says he wants to see fists flying and shoulder tackles. Eli says he's never been in a one-sided match like this but lets see how it goes. Bubba says he wants to be able to see Eli's rage. Bubba says he feels confident that we will see the best out of them.
Elijah Holyfield vs Chris Island
Bubba gets in Chris' face. He says he turns the corner and it's his day. Bubba says we talk about the new Chris Island, not the old Chris Island.
CI runs in and nails Eli from behind. CI slams him in the ring. CI hits forearms and double leg slams him again. CI hits mounted shots on him. CI knee drops him. Eli misses a charge and back elbows him. CI stun gun's him. CI backbreakers him.
CI knee drops him in the arm for 1. CI hits mounted shots on Eli then stomps his hand. CI stands on the hand. Eli is sent shoulder first into the buckles. CI suplexes him for 2. CI forearms him and sends him hard into the buckles. CI hammerlock backdrops him for 2.
Eli hits him in the gut and CI forearms him. Eli spinebusters him. Eli hits flying shoulders on CI. Booker T comes up to Bubba in the back and Bubba isn't happy. He says CI has no rhythm. Eli powerslams CI. Eli hits a big uppercut and pins him.
Thoughts: Whatever they were supposed to do here was not done. CI is just not a super exciting guy and Eli didn't show his face at all when selling which hurt the selling. This was just average.
Bubba talks to the wrestlers after. CI says the match got repetitive and Eli's selling stayed in the same place. Bubba says Eli's face was down the whole time. Bubba asks who is down there and who can see his face? He says that's all Bubba has to say. Eli gets mad and doesn't like the way he said it. Eli walks off.
We go to break and return. Eli says he walked away before he said something. Eli says Bubba made him feel stupid and he didn't appreciate it. CI says Bubba talked to him like a little boy. Eli talks to the camera's alone. He says Bubba needs to tell him what to do only and nothing else. Matt Bloom says Bubba is talking from a place of love. He says if you let your emotions get in the way, you don't hear what's being said. Bubba says he hopes he triggered him to fix it for next time. He says if they can't see your face, you won't make money. Eli says he needs to listen to the feedback.
Kevin Owens talks to Kam Hendrix and Shady Elnahas. Shady says she's been a fan since he was 5 and did judo because he liked wrestling. He says there was no wrestling there. He then says he moved to Canada and couldn't pass up the opportunity to leave his sport. Kam is excited to be back. Kam says he's been working on intensity and timing and felt like he was acting before. He says he feels like he is being himself now.
The wrestlers practice the match and KO watches. KO says a rule of wrestling is to not do other people's moves. He says Finn and Seth do slingblades. He says Kam can do it here but it's a measure of respect not to do it. Shady says he has slingblade variation ideas. Shady asks if doing a slingblade into a flatliner is the same thing. Owens says that's where they can make it different. Owens says he doesn't have to change it but has to decide.
Kam Hendrix vs Shady Elnahas
This is at the NXT arena. Kam backs him up in the corner and gets in his face. Kam knees him in the gut and lariats him. Kam then dances. Shady flying headscissors him. Shady running euros him in the corner. Shady is back body dropped out of the ring. Shady has a face mask on and sells like his face got hit. Kam clubs on Shady's chest.

Kam rubs his face into the mat and slaps him in the back of the head. Shady hits punches on him then Kam misses a corner charge. Shady hits running lariats and corkscrew kicks him. Shady slingblade flatliners him for 2.
They trade shots. Kam flying kicks him for 2. Shady neckbreakers him. Shady slingshot plancha's him outside. Shady misses a top rope moonsault. Kam spears him and backdrops him into a uranage. Kam pins him.
Thoughts: Kam won as expected here. Shady didn't really show a lot here and the face mask made it very hard to sell. He didn't really botch anything though. Shady is absolutely not a babyface in any way. This was below average.
Matt Bloom says Kam did a great job. Shawn says Shady did a good job. Shady says he is perfectionist. Shawn says let's work on the basics. Owens says the match was solid. Owen says Shady missed his moonsault and he needs to be his own guy. Shady then talks about his girlfriend Tiffany Stratton and says the moonsault is a tribute to her. Owens says they would both be on NXT if it was up to him. He says Kam feels like what he's doing is really him. Kam says he has found himself out there.
Overall thoughts: Choo/PJ was fine and the other two matches weren't that good. Elijah's selling was bad in his match and Chris Island just isn't working. The main wasn't that good. Shady is not a babyface by any means and he didn't get to do a lot to impress. There's nothing you need to see here on this one and it was pretty similar to the other episodes from this season. This is really probably best to watch more as a documentary than a wrestling show.
