CMLL Arena Puebla Tag Team Title Tournament Semi Final Match - Meyer & Tiger Boy vs. Prayer & Rey Apocalipsis

Prayer and Meyer go at it. Prayer takes him down by the wrist and Meyer trips him. Prayer armdrags him. They trade some holds and Prayer armdrags him. Meyer goes for the pin. Prayer takes him down by the wrist and Meyer ties up his legs on the mat. Prayer armdrags him into a leglock. 

Meyer trips him and does a leglock on the mat. Prayer surfboards him and gets a 2 count on him. Apoc and Tiger go at it. Apoc armdrags and hiptosses him for 2. Tiger armdrags him. Apoc flips him then armdrags him into a crucifix. Apoc hits another armdrag then trips him. Tiger armdrags him.

Tiger rolls over his back and Apoc runs into a kick in the corner. Meyer top rope diving armdrags him. Apoc makes tiger dropkick Meyer off the apron. Tiger is then slid out onto a splash on his partner outside. Apoc dives through the ropes and splashes both opponents on the floor. Prayer slingshot splashes Tiger on the floor.

Apoc is popped up into a corner splash on Tiger. Apoc meteora's Tiger and Prayer corner la sillas Tiger. Meyer takes corner lariats and a backbreaker + dropkick off the ropes combo. Prayer chops Meyer down on the floor and bridges him on the apron for a Prayer dropkick through the ropes. Tiger is then held for a dropkick between the ropes. Apoc goes for a tope and nails his partner on accident. Tiger and Meyer hit stereo topes outside.

Prayer takes a codebreaker into a backcracker for 2. Apoc top rope crossbodies Meyer. Tiger corner meteora's Apoc from behind for 2. Prayer tope con hilos Tiger through the ropes outside. Meyer goes up top. Apoc top rope armdrags him down. 

Apoc misses a 2nd rope tornillo and tiger top rope splashes Apoc. Tiger pins Apoc. Tiger Boy's team wins.

Thoughts: It was a decent opener here. Nothing great we got some flying, the rudos put out a stronger effort than usual and it went pretty well. I liked it. They got about 13 minutes to do this too so it got to play out enough. Everyone wore black and purple here for some reason.

CMLL Arena Puebla Tag Team Title Tournament Semi Final Match - El Hijo del Perverso & El Perverso vs. Konjuro & Rey Espartano

EP = El Perverso

Rey and Hijo go at it. They trade some wristlocks and Rey armdrags him. Hijo armbar takedowns him. Rey pulls on his legs then armdrags him. Hijo holds on and armdrags him. Hijo armdrags him and both hit reverse headscissors from the mat and stand off.

Kon and EP go at it. Kon superkicks him. EP misses a corner charge and Kon top rope diving headscissors him. They botch two moves in a row and EP tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him. EP flying lariats him. Rey rolls into a dropkick on EP and sends him out.

Rey side headlocks Hijo. Rey springboard diving armdrags him. Rey spears him. Rey back elbows EP then EP spinarooni's up. EP is flipped into the ropes and armdrags Rey off of it. EP 2nd rope diving headscissors him. Kon comes in, flips out of a hiptoss and lariats EP down. Kon springboard dropkicks EP off the apron. 

Hijo comes in and Kon back elbows him. Hijo chops Kon then 2nd rope diving headscissors him. Rey comes in and Hijo drops him down on his flying headscissors. Hijo back elbows him down. Hijo dropicks Rey in the knee. 

Rey is on the 2nd rope, he takes an enzugiri then takes a sitout powerbomb down. EP legdrops Rey. Kon is held for a codebreaker and wheelbarrow german suplex.

Rey is kicked in the leg. Rey springboard double dropkicks his opponents. Kon topes out and Rey top rope plancha's outside. Kon chops Hijo down. Hijo is double hiptossed into a double slam. EP takes running corner attacks and Rey corner meteora's him. Kon gets a 2 count on EP.

Rey is back body dropped out. Hijo tope con hilos him. EP top rope crossbodies Kon inside. EP rolls Kon up for 2. Rey michinoku drivers EP for 2. Kon chops Hijo then slingshot codebreakers him for 2. Kon and EP trade chops. Rey and Hijo then trade too. Kon and Rey take stereo buckle razor's edges for 2 counts. Hijo is monkey flipped out. Kon walks up the buckles and flip dives him outside. Rey corner death valley drivers EP. Rey top rope swantons EP and pins him.

Thoughts: I always talk about how Kon doesn't botch and does a good job. He made me a liar here as he botched multiple times. The match was still fine, but Kon could not work at all with Los Perverso's. It's a shame too as everyone really did try and did stuff they don't usually do. I still liked it though.

Arkalis & Valiente Jr. vs. El Malayo & Máquina Letal

1st Fall - Malayo dropkicks and stomps Ark out. Ark then goes after Malayo. ML throws Val off the lock up then waistlock takedowns him. Val does kip ups and kip downs then armdrags him. ML lariats him. Val springboard crossbodies him then corkscrew headscissors him out. Malayo does a sitout hiptoss on Ark. Malayo then stomps him.

Ark sunset flips him and Malayo springboard dropkicks him. Malayo pins him. Malayo's team wins the fall. 

2nd Fall - The fight continues between falls Malayo beats up Ark on the ramp. Malayo throws him in over the top. ML kicks Val in the crotch and chops him. ML back elbows Val down and foot chokes him. ML back body drops Val. 

Val is put up top and ML unties his mask. Malayo tries to unmask Ark as well. Malayo really rips on Ark's mask the corner basement dropkicks him. Malayo back body drops Val. Ark takes a double boot and rolls to the ramp. ML poses on the ropes and Val grabs him. Val is thrown out. Malayo pop up drops Ark then dropkicks him. Malayo shoulders over Ark and dropkicks him. Malayo leg chokes Ark over the 2nd rope.

Malayo kicks Ark in the leg. Ark tilt-a-whirl backbreakers Malayo and dropkicks him out. Val springboard diving headscissors ML. Ark tope con hilos Malayo outside. Val 2nd rope tonrillos ML and pins him. Arkalis' team wins the fall.

3rd Fall - Val flips off of ML then rolls him into a splash. Val enzugiri's ML. Val walks up the buckles, rope walks and seated moonsaults into a reverse headscissors on ML. Val poses and ML dropkicks him.

Ark top rope crossbodies ML. Ark kicks ML from the apron and ML dropicks Ark. Val springboard dropkicks ML out then he step up springboard tope con hilos him outside. Ark springboard twisting crossbodies Malayo. Malayo rips his mask off and gets DQ'd. Arkalis' team wins the fall and match.

Thoughts: I liked it minus the finish. Malayo did a good job of heeling it up on Arkalis and he was all over him all match long. ML didn't do much but dropkicks but those looked fine. Val did some decent flying here. This was an okay bout.

Los Dragones (Dragon de Fuego, Dragon Legendario & Dragon Rojo Jr.) vs. Los Herederos (El Cobarde, Felino Jr. & Hijo de Stuka Jr.)

DF = Dragon de Fuego, DL = Dragon Legendario

1st Fall - DL side headlocks Cob. DL handstand walks and backflips into a spinning reverse headscissors on him. DL walks up the ropes and diving tornillo armdrags Cob. DL springboard diving armdrags Stuka. DF springboard crossbodies Stuka.

DF comes in and flips over Stuka. He spinning headscissors him down. Rojo jumps over Fel off the top and Rojo is triple stomped by the heels. Rojo hits a double armdrag then a double lariat on Stuka and Cob. DL and DF hit topes outside. Rojo rolls Fel into a pin and pins him. Dragon Rojo Jr,'s team wins the fall.

2nd Fall - Cob and Rojo trade chops. Cob legkicks him. Cob jumps up and Rojo chops him down. Rojo basement dropkicks Stuka. Fel chops Rojo in the corner. Rojo chops Fel in the corner. 

Rojo armdrags Fel to the ramp. DF springboard crossbodies Cob. DF walks up the buckles and is tripped. Stuka stomps DF and throws him out. Rojo takes a double back elbow. Rojo is tied up in the ropes and Cob is popped up into a dropkick on him. Fel bites DF's head then supekricks him down. Cob stomps Rojo in tree of woe.

DL is double booted. DL takes kicks, a legsweep and standing moonsault. Stuka is double hiptossed into the ropes and splashes DL for 2. DF is stomped in the corner. DF is double flipped on his chest and takes a triple basement dropkick. Rojo takes a powerbomb > top rope swanton > top rope splash and is pinned. El Cobarde's team wins the fall.

3rd Fall - Cob kicks DL on the ramp. He then stomps DF there too. Rojo is triple teamed. DL is popped up into a double dropkick on the heels. The hees are all outside and take triple dives from the faces. The heels are all whipped into each other outside. Stuka and Cob take superkicks and DF flips DL onto Stuka. DF standing moonsaults Cob. The Dragon's get 2 counts then do triple roll up's for another set of 2 counts. The Dragon's all take movs from the heels and kick out at 2.

Rojo hits a top rope double stomp, DL and DF hit 450's off the top. The Dragon's get stereo pins. Dragon Rojo Jr.'s team wins the fall and match.

Thoughts: The heels could have been a little better with their second in the 2nd but the match was okay otherwise. The faces did some nice flying and they ended it before it overstayed its welcome.

Lightning Match - Volador Jr. vs. Neon

Vol takes him down and is armdragged. They sweep each other and Neon gets up in his face. Neon boots him out of the corner and double jump diving springboard headscissors him. Neon slingshot plancha's him outside. 

Neon cartwheels over Vol and flips over him. Vol spinning drops him chest first on the mat. Vol running facekicks him down. Vol pop up up drops him and superkicks him for 2. Vol boots Neon in the corner. Neon flying headscissors Vol out. Neon then topes him twice. 

Neon enzugiri's him from the apron, springboard crossbodies him and sunset flips him for 2. Neon rolls him up for 2. Neon hurricanrana's him for 2. Vol pop up powerbombs him for 2. Neon powerslams him then 2nd rope asai moonsaults him for 2. Vol boots him out of the corner and code red's him for 2. 

Neon wastelands him then double jump moonsaults him for 2. Neon tries it again and misses. Vol canadian destroyers him and pins him.

Thoughts: I was fine with it. It was a shorter bout, we got a few highlights out of it and they actually sold the canadian destroyer as a finisher here.

Barbaro Cavernario & Soberano Jr. vs. Los Infernales (Averno & Euforia) vs. Galeon Fantasma (Difunto & Zandokan Jr.)

All 6 men fight to start. Av stomps on Barb. Dif stomps Sob and goes for his mask. Barb is rammed crothc first into the post. Zand then pulls at Sob's mask on the buckles. Zand is double teamed in the ring by Los Infernales. Barb takes a double back elbow and a double boot. Barb is then booted down by Los Infernales. Sob's mask is ripped on the ropes. Los Infernales, Zand and Dif all go for Sob's mask on the ropes.

Dif takes a corner lariat and a facekick. Zand is chopped down by Euf. Zand tilt-a-whirl backbreakers Av then facekicks Euf out. Dif kicks Barb in the leg. Sob is double teamed. Zand superkicks and spinebusters Barb then holds him for a top rope Dif dropkick to the butt of Barb.

Zand tries to unmask Sob. Sob takes a double drop on his chest and a double basement dropkick. Dif chops Av. Av is on the 2nd rope and takes a double springboard dropkick. Barb hits shots on Euf. Euf facekicks him out of the corner and Barb does the worm off of it. Barb casadora armdrags Euf.

Barb springboard twisting crossbodies Av then spinning amrdrags Av. Barb is double booted in the corner. Sob top rope tornillos Zand and Dif. Sob boots Dif out. Sob enzugiri's Av from the apron then top rope diving headscissors him. Barb basement dropkicks Dif. Barb flying headscissors Euf out. Barb springboard triangle plancha's outside. Sob slips off the top rope and Dif spinning heel kicks him for 2.

Sob boots Av out of the corner and code red's him for 2. Sob kisses Euf's boot for some reason then tries to hit him. Euf chops Sob down. Barb spinebusters Euf. Barb springboard splashes Euf. Dif powerslams Barb for 2. Sob step up enzugiri's Dif in the corner. Sob flying headscissors Av then fosbury flops him outside. 

Euf powerbombs Dif for 2. Zand and Barb trade chops on the ropes. Zand sitout back body drops him for 1. Dif dropkicks Euf out. Dif then walks up the buckles and plancha's Euf outside. Sob top rope crossbodies Av then sitout tombtones him. Barb springboard splashes Av and pins him. Barbaro Cavernario's team wins the match.

Thoughts: It was an unusual one as all 6 guys are heels here. Sob ended up playing the face. It was a lot of basic strikes and no one but Sob really doing anything flying. It was something different but not exactly great. It was an alright main.

The announcer then closes the show.

Overall thoughts: Every match was alright here. I really had no issues with this at all and though the night worked out pretty well. There's nothing must see though. I'd say the opener was the best bout here and the main was something different than what we usually get. I'd give it a 7 out of 10 as everything went well on this one. It was an okay show overall.
