CMLL 6/29/2026 Arena Puebla

The announcer is in the ring  with the new Puebla Tag Titles and does the usual intro.

Puebla Tag Team Tournament Quarter Final Match - Centella Roja & El Hijo de Centella Roja vs. El Hijo del Perverso & El Perverso

CR = Centella Roja, HCR = El Hijo de Centella Roja, EP = El Perverso, HP = Hijo del Perverso

EP and HCR go at it. HCR throws him over then is armdragged. HCR armdrags him into an arm lock then does another armdrag. HCR headscissors him down from the mat and poses. CR and HP go at it. HP takes him down and CR spinning reverse headscissors him from the mat. 

CR spinning armdrags HP then HP shoulders him over. They headflip up together. EP knocks over CR then trips him for a HP basement dropkick. HCR is back body dropped. CR is kicked in the leg. CR is tripped into a double basement dropkick.

HCR is kicked while on the 2nd rope and takes a sitout powerbomb. EP legdrops HCR. EP is double back body dropped. HCR takes a double boot. CR is basement dropkicked from behind. CR then takes a double boot. 

HCR is beate up by HP. HP flying double chops him. CR is popped up into a flying headscissors on HP. CR tilt-a-whirl backbreakers EP. EP and CR double lariat each other. HCR flying headscissors HP. HP chops his partner on accident. HCR flying headscissors HP again. EP is tilt-a-whirl armdragged. HCR topes EP but mostly ends up flopping on the floor.

CR backrolls into an armdrag on HP then springboard headscissors him. CR double jump diving armdrags HP. CR handstands in the corner and does a reverse headscissors off of it. CR russian legsweeps EP and does a grounded octopus. HP breaks it up. EP sitout powerbombs HCR. 

HCR dropkicks HP in the knee then springboard splashes him for 2. HCR is pop-up powerbombed by EP for 2. CR top rope double jump crossbodies the heels. CR superkicks EP. CR pops up HCR into a springboard diving headscissors on HP.

HCR asai moonsaults HP outside. CR top rope tornillo plancha's outside. HP tope con hilos HCR outside. CR top rope crossbodies EP. EP spinebusters him, rolls him up and pins him. 

Thoughts: It got a lot of time. It was perfectly acceptable lucha. The heels could have been a little more heelish. The faces weren't super athletic but did try to fly some.

Puebla Tag Team Tournament Quarter Final Match - Astro & Millenium vs. Konjuro & Rey Espartano

Kon and Astro go at it. Astro tkaes him down then armdrags him down. Astro armdrags him from the mat. Kon armbars him. Rey springboard double axe handles Astro's arm. Astro and Rey trade holds. 

Astro double boots him out of the corner and Mil top rope crossbodies Rey. Mil armdrags Rey. Mil armdrags Rey. Mil rolls him  and Rey takes him down with the leg. Mil dropkicks Rey out. Kon gets in. Kon trips Mil and chinlocks him. They trade armdrags. Kon criss-crosses him with a shoulderblock. Astro springboard diving armdrags Kon. Astro springboard headscissors him.

Rey comes in and flying spears Astro. Mil springboards into a casadora armdrag on Rey. Mil walks up the ropes, seated moonsaults and armdrags Rey out. Kon spinning lariats Mil. Kon flapjacks Mil. Rey claymore kicks Kon on accident. Astro and Mil hit stereo tope con hilos outside. 

Mil is tripped off the top rope and Kon stomps him. Kon foot chokes him. Astro is double gorilla press dropped. Mil takes running corner attacks with a meteora and a broski boot. Astro is popped up and flying headscissors Rey. Mil springboard double stomps Kon while kon is in the backbreaker position. 

Rey is double back body dropped. Rey is stuck on the 2nd rope and Astro springboard diving legdrops him there. Rey spin kicks stro in the gut, flips into the ropes and hits a sitout powerbomb off of it. Mil poisonrana's Rey for 2. Kon codebreakers Mil for 2. 

Astro hurricanrana's Kon off the buckles for 2. Astro and Rey double boot each other down. The heels are sent out and Mil/Astro hit stereo asai moonsaults outside. The heels are slammed down in the ring. Mil top rope splashes Rey and Astro top rope 450's Rey.

Rey does a powerslam + powerbomb combo to both opponents at the same time. Kon top rope moonsaults both opponents and the heels get a dogpile double pin to win.

Thoughts: It got a lot of time like the opener. It went well and I was fine with this one. Rey's flip into the ropes into a sitout powerbomb was cool. Kon doesn't do a ton but he doesn't really botch and is reliable. It wasn't great, but there were no real problems with this at all.

Arkalis & Fuego vs. El Malayo & Okumura

1st Fall - Mal and Fuego go at it. Mal armdrags him and Fuego goes for the pin. Fuego headstands from the mat into a reverse headscissors on Mal. Mal armdrags him twice and they stand off. Ark and Oku go at it. Oku trips Ark and Ark armdrags him twice. Ark chops Mal off the apron and they fight outside. Mal stomps Ark outside and sends him into the post.

Oku back elbows Fuego. Fuego takes a double boot out. Ark is kicked in the leg. Oku cutters Ark. Mal springboard dropkicks Ark and pins him. Okumura's team wins the fall.

2nd Fall - Mal beats up Ark on the ramp. Mal elbow drops Ark's leg. Ark takes corner lariats. Mal pulls on Ark's mask then basement dropkicks him. Ark is double booted out. Fuego is lariated then tilt-a-whirl backbreakered. 

Ark is held for chops from Mal then facekicked. Ark tilt-a-whirl backbreakers Mal and dropkicks him out. Ark then topes him. Fuego springboard crossbodies Oku then rolls him into a pin. Fuego's team wins the fall.

3rd Fall - Ark goes after Oku outside. Ark backs up Mal outside. Fuego flying shoulders Oku. Fuego clubs on Oku. Fuego handstands in the corner and reverse headscissors Oku down. Feugo 2nd rope diving headscissors Mal. 

Oku and Ark trade shots. Oku flying lariats him. Ark 2nd rope diving headscissors him. Ark flying headscissors Mal then tilt-a-whirl slams him down. Ark flying lariats Mal over the top. Fuego springboard crossbodies Oku. Fuego does a hurricanrana but Oku rolls through it and gets a 2 count on him.

Fuego rolls up Oku for 2. Mal twisting drops Fuego from his shoulder. Ark flying forearms Mal then superkicks him. Oku facekicks Ark down and out of the ring. Fuego does a springboard double crossbody on the heels. Fuego dropkicks Oku out.

Fuego walks up the ropes and plancha's Oku outside. Ark top rope crossbodies Mal. Ark germans Mal then Mal totally low blows Ark in front of the ref. Mal pins Ark. Okumura's team wins the fall and match.

Thoughts: The finish was bad here as Malayo totally low blowed Ark in front of the ref and the ref could have cared less. That was lame. The match was fine otherwise though. The faces flew a little and the heels kept them in line. There were 3 vets here who knew what they were doing and this was never going to be awful.

Star Black & Star Jr. vs. Los Hermanos Calavera (Calavera Jr. I & Calavera Jr. II)

Cal = Either Cal as they look the same

1st Fall - The Cal's have ruby, black and white on today. Star Jr and a Cal lock up. They trade some holds and Cal 1 breaks up an armbar. Star Jr gets hit by one of the Cal's and SB backs up both Cal's outside. Star Jr armdrags a Cal then shoulders him over and sentons him. 

SB comes in and reverse headbutts a Cal. Cal shoulders him over and is armdragged. SB hiptosses Cal then springboard diving armdrags him. The other Cal dropkicks SB. The Star's get beaten up in the ring. A Cal top rope swantons SB and pins him. Los Calabera Jr win the fall.

2nd Fall - Star Jr is held for chops. Star Jr fights back but is double stomped on. Star Jr is double gorilla press thrown from the ramp to the ring. SB is held for chops. SB is double booted in the corner.

SB flying headscissors a Cal but is booted over and stomped. Star Jr is back body dropped. Cal stomps Star Jr. Star Jr superkicks a Cal and flapjacks one Cal onto the other. Star Jr hits a springboard swanton and SB hits an asai moonsault. Both pick up pins. Star Jr.'s team wins the fall.

3rd Fall - SB dropkicks a Cal. SB 2nd rope tornillo's Cal then handspring backflip reverse headbutts him. Star Jr goes up top and diving a headscissors one of the heels. He pop up reverse headscissors the other Cal. The Star's hit stereo topes outside. 

Cal is sat up top and Star Jr slaps him around. Star Jr 2nd rope hurricanrana's him. A Cal superplexes Star Jr. SB spinning torture rack drops a Cal. The Star's are sent into each other and both take spinebusters. The Cal's tie their arms and legs up together and pull. The faces submit. Los Calavera Jr win the fall and match.

Thoughts: It went long. Los Calavera weren't particularly impressive on offense and the faces didn't get as good of a run on offense either as they should have gotten. This was average.

Los Villanos (El Hijo del Villano III & Villano III Jr.) vs. Galeon Fantasma (Difunto & Zandokan Jr.)

1st Fall - Los Villanos get hit in the ring before the bell rings. Zand boots over V3Jr then facekicks him down. Dif facekicks V3Jr then splashes his leg. Zand chops Hijo down. The Villanos are sent into each other. Their arms are tied up together, Zand puts a flag over their heads and the heels double basement dropkick them. Zand and Dif dogpile pin them together. The ref doesn't count the pin on Hijo and Dif pins Hijo. Zandokan Jr.'s team wins the fall.

2nd Fall - Dif boots Hijo from the ramp to the ring. Hijo is sat up top and Dif pounds on him. Hijo is tripped into a basement dropkick and Zand tries to pin him with a foot on the chest. Zand headbutts V3Jr. V3Jr is double dropped onto his chest and double basement dropkicked. Hijo is double teamed. Dif lariats Hijo and facekicks him down. 

Dif top rope elbow drops Hijo's arm. The heels try to unmask Hijo. The heels then stomp him together. Hijo superkicks Zand then suplexes Dif. V3Jr tags in and springboard diving headscissors Zand. V3Jr lariats the heels down. V3Jr springboard diving cutters Zand. HIjo double underhook drops Dif. Los Villanos pick up stereo pins. Los Villanos win the fall.

3rd Fall - They all fight outside. Zand Jr is dropped face first on a seat. Dif is sent into the post shoulder first. Hijo hits mounted punches on Dif then he headbutts him. Dif is popped up into a V3Jr powerbomb. Hijo asai moonsaults Dif while he lays on V3Jr's knees. Zand is codebreakered then V3Jr springboard dropkicks him. Hijo gets a 2 count off of it.

Dif hits corner lariats on V3Jr and flying lariats him. Hijo knees Dif in the face from the apron. Hijo top rope elbow drops Dif for 2.  Zand pulls Hijo down by the mask then chops him down. Zand hits a very dangerous looking tiger driver 91, basically dropping Hijo straight on his head. Zand pins Hijo. Zandokan Jr.'s team wins the fall and match.

V3Jr does moves on Zand anyway then sitout powerbombs him. V3Jr then tries to pin him even though the match is done.

Thoughts: The ref messed up 2 different finishes to falls here which is impressive. Hijo took a horrible looking tiger driver '91 on his head. It was a little slower paced than expected but it was acceptable minus the screw-up's on the finishes.

Zand talks on the mic after. He says he doesn't like winning like this and want a rematch next week. Zand takes Hijo's mask off after and poses with it. 

Los Infernales (Averno & Euforia) & Volador Jr. vs. El Sky Team (Mistico & Neon) & Templario

1st Fall - The heels attack from behind in the ring before the bell. Av works on Mist and Euf works on Temp in the corner. Vol kicks Neon in the leg then boots Temp in the gut. Mist is triple temed. Mist is rammed crotch first into the post. Euf sends Neon into the post.

Vol lariats Temp down. Temp is pop up dropped then Vol facekicks him. Euf pumphandle slams Mist and Vol pins mist. Averno's team wins the fall.

2nd Fall - Temp is triple teamed. Temp is flapjacked. Vol superkicks Mist down. Neon is popped up into a kick to the gut. Av bites Temp's fingers. Temp does a handspring double back elbow on the heels and flying headscissors Vol. Neon and Mist hit stereo springboard diving headscissors. Mist and Neon hit stereo topes outside. Temp hits a go to sleep to the gut of Vol and pins him. Mistico's team wins the fall.

3rd Fall - Temp superkicks Vol. Av flips Temp then elbows him over. Temp ducks a double lariat and flying headscissors Av. Temp spinning armdrags Euf while on his shoulders. Neon walks up the ropes, flips over Vol and spinning headscissors him. Neon flying headscicossrs Euf. Neon double jump springboard diving headscissors Av out. Mist is triple stomped by the heels.

Mist flying headscissors Vol. Mist pushes Euf into Av and springboard diving headscissors him. Mist spinning headscissors Av. Mist walks up the buckles and corkscrew diving armdrags Vol out. Mist's team all hits topes outside. Neon and Temp then hit extra topes.

Mist springboard crossbodies Av then la mistica's him. Mist submits Av. Mistico's team wins the fall and match.

Thoughts: Mist's team won as expected as there was no reason to have them lose. It wasn't their best work by any means but it was fine enough. This only got about 15 minutes and there weren't a lot of very slow points to it.  

The announcer then closes the show.

Overall thoughts: The opener was longer but it was acceptable. The 2nd match was similar. The 3rd match was also fine and that's not surprising with some of the names involved. Los Calavera's match went long and was just average. The ref had a bad night in Los Villanos' tag match and that bout was just acceptable. The main was shorter but never got boring and worked okay enough. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 overall. There was nothing must see but almost everything was acceptable to fine. I'd say the main was the best match here. It was an okay show.
