AEW Dynamite 7/15/2026

We are in Boston, MA. Taz, Excalibur and Tony Schiavone are on commentary.

We see clips from earlier of Will Ospreay hitting pads while Garcia hypes him up. Mox tells them to quit fooling around and says it's game time. Mox says Will's neck is strong and the next few steps are the critical ones. He says people get close and then hesitate. Mox says Will earned this. He says Will has to make hard decisions and this is not a hard decision. He says when you get your shot, you don't hesitate, you pull the trigger. 

AEW Tag Titles - Adam Copeland and Christian Cage (c) vs The Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia)

Cope takes down Yuta and side headlocks him. Cope facekicks Yuta down. DG backs up Cage in the corner. Cage teases doing DG's dance and gives him the finger. Cage back elbows him. DG is double hiptossed.

Cope hits punches on DG and chops him. Yuta traps Cope in the ring skirt and pounds on him. DG joins him. We go to PiP break and return. DG chinlocks Cope and sleepers him. Cope powerslams DG. Yuta clubs on Cope.

Cage comes in and drops Yuta with punches. He hits mounted corner punches on Yuta. Cage hits a reverse ddt on Yuta. Cage bangs DG's head off Yuta's crotch. DG is back body dropped on the floor. Cage top rope diving headbutts Yuta for 2. 

DG hits shots on Cage in the corner. Cage and Cope hit lariats. Cope lariats DG onto the ramp and goes with him. Yuta germans Cage for 2. 

Cage is crotched on the 2nd buckle. The heels hit running corner attacks on him. Cage kicks DG in the crotch. Yuta is popped up into a spear from Cope. Cage pins Yuta.

Thoughts: There was absolutely no reason to believe Cope and Cage were losing here and they didn't. The heels mostly stuck to simple offense. It wasn't anything wild or flashy but it was acceptable enough. The Death Riders have again switched from face to heel as they were heelish here.

The Young Bucks are in the stands and clap for Cope and Cage. The Dogs and The Death Riders then jump Cope and Cage.

The Bang Bang Gang then come out to save Cope and Cage. Jay White takes Finlay's shilelagh from him and DF runs off. Jay and Cage argue and Cope tries to play peacemaker. 

We get an Andrade El Idolo video. He's on the beach with a girl. He says he's free of his past and is a future champ. He says there's nothing that can stop him. he says "how you know?" and "soon you will".

Idolo is interviewed by Renee. He says he will fight will all members of The Don Callis Family if he has to as his destiny is to become champ. He then shows a jewelry box with a Dynamite Diamond Ring and says a good friend gave him it. Renee asks if it's Will Ospreay and Idolo says, "how you know?".

Thoughts: Idolo tries, but he's very hard to understand. I've heard enough of the "How you know?" line too.

The Conglomeration are interviewed. OC says it's the perfect time for someone to challenge them for the trios titles. The Demand come in. Ric says he heard them running their mouths and wants to shut them up. Kaun says the title should be around their waists. Toa goes to touch the title and his hand is slapped away. The Lethal Twist then jump The Conglom's from behind. Ric says he told them The Demand wouldn't lay a finger on them but The Lethal Twist aren't in The Demand, yet.

Andrade El Idolo vs Jake Doyle

Jake running shoulders him out to start. Jake corner splashes him and hits corner spears. Jake corner splashes him. Idolo 2nd rope diving headscissors him. Idolo then diving headscissors him form the apron outside. Idolo then flirts with a girl in the front row. 

Idolo is tripped up top. Idolo hits chops. Jake throws Idolo over the top, goes with him and hits an apron edge chokeslam. We go to PiP break and return. Idolo hits forearms and chops. Jake shoulders him over. Idolo step up enzugiri's him. Idolo flying forearms Jake.

Jake bodyblocks him. Jake misses a corner charge. Idolo 2nd rope moonsaults him outside. Jake catches his slingshot headscissors and sitout powerbombs him. Idolo hits triple suplexes for 2. Idolo corner meteora's him for 2. 

Idolo comes off the top and is forearmed down. Jake forearms him down again for 2. Idolo spinning back elbows him and double underhook drops him for the win.

Thoughts: It was the usual Idolo match with him posing with girls in the crowd and him flying. It was okay enough and Idolo won as expected, but both could have been more aggressive here.

Mark Davis comes out and wants to fight Idolo after. Idolo puts the ring on his hand and Mark backs off. 

We get a Kenny Omega video.

Tony Schiavone tries to interview Kenny Omega in the ring. The Young Bucks come out too. There's an omega logo and red carpet. The Bucks say they have been best friends for 20 years and say Kenny won the title all by himself last week. They say he proved he's the best wrestler on the planet. the Bucks are bothered by him wearing MJF's version of the belt and give him the regular AEW Title.

Kenny says it's been a while since he held the title. He says the difference maker was him believing in himself and his friends and family believing in him. He says this wasn't supposed to happen but here we are. He says we will soon see the best version of Omega that has ever been in AEW. 

Will Ospreay comes out. He asks for time to talk to Kenny 1v1. Will says it's good to see Kenny as the AEW champ again. He says Kenny needed to believe in himself to be champ. Will says he thought he was done when he got hit with the belt but he kicked out at 1. He says Kenny is back. 

Will says Kenny's been his hero for 10 years. He says when he thinks of AEW, he thinks of Kenny Omega. Will says he's locked in and not happy with being second. Will says this is a dream come true and it's the fight time a real life Goku and Vegeta are fighting it out. Will says let's show them that this is where the best wrestle.

Kevin Knight comes out. Kev says he has champ to champ talking to do with Kenny and asks Will to excuse them. Kenny says Will can stay. Kev says he's still owed a World Title shot courtesy for MJF. He says there's a debt to be paid and he's here to collect. He says he's ready to become Jet 2 Belts and make it a reality. Kevin then asks for a title shot at Redemption. 

Kenny tells him to back up 2 steps for him. Kenny asks if he's trying to hold him to a promise that MJF made. He asks why would he do that and says they aren't going to do that. Kenny says he might give him a shot because he's a nice guy. He says he saw something special in him the first time he saw him. He says he saw someone who had "it". He says he saw someone who was hungry but that's where it ended. He says then he had to align with Don Callis.

He says he would be a hypocrite to say he didn't believe in Don and didn't think he would lead him to the promised land. He says he held the title due to Don. He says Kevin doesn't need Don's help and could have it all on his own. He talks about MJF defending his belt every week (Did he forget MJF's thing where he didn't defend his belt?) and says he wasn't a fraud. He says Kevin is being a fraud and not being himself. He says he wants to face Kevin "The Jet" Knight and not Kevin "Don Callis Lap Dog B!tch" Knight. He says he wants him to become Jet 2 Belts on his own. 

Kevin says there's no goodness left in his heart, just greatness. Kevin then hits him with the mic. Will goes for Kevin. Kevin goes to the ramp and Darby nails Kevin. Brian Cage then nails Darby on the ramp. Other Don Callis Family members come out then The Death Riders come out. The Don Callis Family backs off.

Thoughts: Redemption is one of the weakest looking AEW PPV's ever and if Kevin/Kenny is the World Title match, there's no real question about it. 

Jack Perry does a video. He says he officially started Chapter 2 of his AEW journey. He says he won 4 titles here and says Chapter 2 is about breaking to the next level. He says he wants to give an opportunity to someone who is in the same shoes he used to be in. We then see Luchasaurus holding a mic.

Brodido (Bandido & Brody King) vs Aaron Solo & Nick Comoroto

Nick pushes Band and Band points at him. Nick gorilla presses Band and then Band gorilla press slams him. Band gets on BK's shoulders and splashes Nick. King sentons Nick. Solo takes corner attacks and a double chop. 

King backdrops Solo then slams Nick onto Solo. Band top rope frogsplashes both opponents and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a short and random squash and not much else. 

Kyle Fletcher is interviewed. He is asked if he's ready for Komander and he says he is. Brody and Bandido walk in. Band puts a wanted poster for himself on Kyle.

AEW International Title Match - Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Komander

Kom kicks Kyle in the leg. Kom armdrags him and casadora cradles him for 2. Kyle is pulled out. Kom is caught jumping off the apron and Kyle drops him face first on the apron. Kyle running facekicks him outside. 

Kom hits shots on Kyle inside and Kyle lariats him down. Kyle misses a flying corner move. Kom rope walk corkscrew dives Kyle outside. We go to PiP break and return. Kom hits chops and superkicks him. Kyle is on the 2nd rope and gets stuck there. Kom hits shots on him there. Kom walks up the ropes and springboard flying headscissors him down. 

Kom walks up the ropes and diving headscissors him outside. Kom rope walk 450's Kyle for 2. Kom superkicks him out of the corner. Kom rope walks, Kyle tries to sweep him but fails. Kom hits a 619 then a springboard diving canadian destroyer for 2. Kom superkicks Kyle then Kyle michinoku drivers him for 2. Kom walks up the buckles, Kyle catches his moonsault and brainbusters him. Kyle wins.

Thoughts: It was the usual match between these two with Kom doing all kinds of flying and Kyle finding time to kick out of a diving canadian destroyer. I really don't know why we got this and Kom last as he always does. I felt like the canadian destroyer should have ended this but that was probably the only absurd kickout here.

Kyle goes to take off Kom's mask after. Konosuke Takeshita comes out and stops Kyle. KT then forearms Kyle down. KT grabs Kyle's belt then Kazuchika Okada comes out and rainmaker's KT. Okada and Kyle then tug over the belt for some reason. Bandido springboard dropkicks both then Brody King topes Okada and Kyle.

Kenny Omega is interviewed. He says he sees some of himself in Kevin and hasn't given up hope. Darby Allin comes in. He says Kevin won't change overnight and needs humbled. Darby says he will take the TNT Title from Kevin next week. He says Kenny can waste his time talking to him or beat it out of him. Kenny says he will leave it to him. Jon Moxley walks in. He says people are what they are and can't be anyone else even if they try.

Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor are interviewed on the stage. Renee says "The Birds are back". Alex says they are a long way from England and says if anyone knows about drinking and fighting, it's people in Boston. Jamie says they won't let the fans down ever. Alex says they will beat anyone to prove that they are the best tag team in AEW. Jamie then says, "Why won't we go get p!ssed?" and they leave.

Chris Jericho does a video. He says Ciampa left him bloodied and battered. He says let's do it again at Redemption. He says he should bring the pain and he'll bring The Painmaker. We then see Jericho with facepaint and a hat on. Jericho says hell is coming for him.

Tomasso Ciampa does a promo. He says he's better than Jericho. He says the challenge is accepted. He says before we get there, he has one more night in his hometown. He says he wants Jericho watching as he faces anyone who wants to make a name for themselves on Collision. He says welcome to the city of champions and the city of Ciampa.

Darby Allin vs Brian Cage

DA dropkicks him and sends him out. DA topes him but just bounces off of him. DA is sent into the rails. Cage suplex lifts him up the step then drops him on the ramp. Cage 2nd rope deadlift superplexes him on the ramp. Cage F-5's him in the ring and poses. 

We go to PiP break and return. DA runs up steps and dropkicks him into the rail. DA top rope coffin drops him outside. They fight on the buckles. DA 2nd rope code red's him for 2. Cage is seated on the ramp and DA low topes him on the ramp. Cage lariats him on the ramp. Cage gorilla press throws DA into the post, banging the back of DA's head off of it. 

Cage stands on the steps and DA trips him. DA coffin drops him off the buckles onto the top of the steps outside. Cage goes inside and DA coffin drops him twice. DA then wins.

Thoughts: I didn't like this one. Darby took way too much abuse here to survive and win. It doesn't help make look Darby stronger, it just makes Cage look weaker. That bump into the post was awful and super dangerous yet meant nothing.

Kyle Fletcher and Kazuchika Okada talk. Kyle says he's scared of nobody and says he will defend it vs anyone if Brody and Bandido want it. He says he will defend against anyone. He says if Bandido wants him, he wants him in an International Title match at Redemption. Okada and Kyle tugging for the belt wasn't mentioned here.

Kevin Knight and Don Callis are interviewed. Don says Kenny Omega is trying to be him in his first interview as champ. He says everything Kenny got in his life that was good was because of him. Mike Bailey comes in. He says Kevin's facade isn't working. Mike says him and Kenny love him enough and are ready for him when he's ready to go back to himself. Kevin says he doesn't need his help.

Divine Dominion (Lena Kross & Megan Bayne) & Mercedes Mone vs Hyan, Maya World & Willow Nightingale 

I have no idea why this is in this spot. We're past 10PM here and this is just starting.

Mone avoids Willow and tags out. The two sides square off. The faces get the edge then get forearmed. Hyan and Maya hit running dropkicks. Meg and Lena hit stereo fallaway slams. Lena take a backsplash. Willow's face is banged off the mat and Meg boots her. 

Willow step up enzugiri's her and bangs her face off the mat. Lena takes running corner attacks. Maya is headscissored into Lena in the corner. Mone is thrown out onto her partners. Willow's team does a tope and 2 cannonballs off the apron. We go to PiP break and return.

Lena clubs on Maya. Maya and Hyan take a double codebreaker into a double german for 2. Mone pulls Maya down by the hair. Mone misses a corner meteora. Mone knees her in the gut and Maya suplexes her. Lena tags in. Maya boots Lena out of the corner and tags out. 

Willow tags in and double chops Meg. Willow hits forearms on Meg. Willow hits a corner lariat on her and facekicks her. Willow spinebusters Meg for 2. Hyan dropkicks Mone then takes a facekick from Lena. Maya top rope dropkicks Lena and Meg flying lariats Maya. Meg facekicks Willow and is lariated. Everyone is down.

Maya cradles Mone and they roll around going for pins. Maya dropkicks her and Mone suplexes her three times in a row. Mone tries a frog splash and Maya gets her knees up. Maya upkicks Lena. Lena does a dangerous looking backdrop on Maya. Hyan top rope crossbodies Lena. Hyan flying knees Lena.

Lena back body drops Hyan. Hyan takes running kicks in the corner. Hyan takes a german and falcon arrow from Meg for 2. Maya takes a double team. Willow lariats Lena over the top. Willow pounces Meg. Meg boots Willow in the gut and throws her out. 

Hyan gets a 2 count on Mone then Hyan spears Mone for 2. Mone hits a money maker on Hyan and pins her.

Thoughts: Mone's team won as expected. It took them longer to put down Willow's team that it should have. The big girls could have been protected a little better here. It got a of time to play out at least and the match was fine.

Overall thoughts: It was a longer edition of Dynamite at over 2 hours and 20 minutes. The only match I really disliked here was Cage/Darby. Darby just took his usual mega beating and still won in the end. Kyle/Komander didn't get too crazy but the canadian destroyer should have ended it. Brodido won a squash. Idolo had his usual match vs Jake which was alright and the main was alright. I was also fine with the opener. We had a lot of random bouts on this one. I'm not loving Kevin Knight vs Kenny Omega as the main event of a PPV or the build to Redemption in general as it's all just filler for All In. I'd give it a higher 5 out of 10 as it was acceptable and maybe okay, but it could have been a little better.
