ROH World Television Title Match - Lio Rush (c) vs. Main Man Oro

Lio's TV Title is all black now.

They shake hands and Lio won't let go. Oro shoves him and boots him. Lio bites Oro's hand. Lio boots him out of the corner and running lariats him. Oro grabs Lio's title outside. Lio gets the title and Oro boots him in the head. Oro springboard rider kicks him for 2.

They chop each other. Oro forearms him. Lio is sat up top. Lio bites Oro's head up there. Oro flips off the 2nd rope and kicks Lio mid-flip. Lio goes out. Oro lariats Lio for 1. Oro kicks Lio in the back. Lio is sent chest first into the buckles for 2. 

Oro mocks Lio. Lio hits chops and splashes him for 1. Lio hits a strike combo. Oro spin kicks him in the face. Lio stunners him then Oro koppo kicks him. Lio evades Oro on the ropes then seated springboard stunners him for 2. Lio spin kicks him in the head. 

Oro enzugiri's him from the apron. Oro his Lio on his shoulder and he pops him up into an overhead kick. Lio bites Oro's hand then stunners him. Lio handspring kicks Oro off the apron. Lio low topes Oro. Lio blue thunders Oro and pins him.

Thoughts: It kind of picked up near the end and they kind of figured out what it was supposed to be. It had trouble getting any kind of flow early on though. I'd say it was acceptable and Lio won as expected in this random one.

Action Andretti attacks Lio from behind after. AA hits mounted shots on Lio. AA rubs Lio's face into the TV Title and bangs his face off of it. Lio sits up after. AA bangs Lio's head off his belt. AA then bridges and does something like an indian deathlock until Lio is out. AA says the title belongs to him after.

Bryan Keith vs. Alan Angels

BK throws his poncho at him then hits him. BK stomps him. BK chops him and exploders him. BK hits forearms and chops. AA hits punches and chops on BK. BK boots him in the gut. AA spin kicks him in the gut and backrolls him for 2. AA enzugiri's BK from the apron. AA top rope crossbodies BK for 2.

AA is swept on the 2nd rope. BK double underhook backbreakers him for 2. BK foot chokes AA and chops him. BK foot chokes him more. BK exploders him. AA throws BK's poncho in his face. AA 2nd rope dropkicks him. AA hits forearms and leg lariats him. 

BK boots AA out of the corner. BK facekicks him. AA la mistica's him into a rings of saturn. AA enzugiri's him on the apron. AA misses a cannonball off the apron. Back in the ring, BK knees him in the face. BK tiger drivers him and wins.

Thoughts: Alan didn't really get enough in here to make this anything great and Bryan won as expected. This probably could have been a little faster and shorter. It wasn't awful or anything, just a bit one-sided. It was average. 

Billie Starkz vs. B3CCA

They shake hands and BS forearms her. BS slaps her on the break. Becca goes up and over and dropkicks her. Becca misses a charge and is forearmed. BS flatliners her into the buckles. BS suplexes her for 2. BS forearms her in the corner. BS chokes her on the bottom rope. 

Becca hits forearms and is knee'd in the face. Becca hits forearms. Becca euros and back splashes her in the corner. Becca corner facekicks her. BS is swept on the ropes and BS hits oblivion for 2. Becca forearms her and pele kicks her for 2. 

Beccau is pulled down off the buckles and BS is thrown off the top. Becca misses a top rope 450. BS traps her arms and gordbusters her for the win.

Thoughts: It went longer than it needed to and wasn't that interesting. BS didn't do a lot but basic strikes here and Becca was jobbing, so she didn't get a ton either. It wasn't that good and was a bit boring.

Adam Brooks does a promo. He says he signed his first wrestling contract 6 years ago in ROH. He says the pandemic took it away from him. He says he was able to compete on Collision recently. He says he showed the world he belonged in the ring and is one of the best in the world. He says he's back in ROH and intends to stay here. He says ROH is about to get loose.

Mark Sterling does the intro for his team and insults Beef. He says his guys told him they couldn't get Jacksonville in shape. They then try to do their cheer but the fans don't say what they are supposed to. 

The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds & John Silver) vs. The Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari & Tony Nese)

Ari and Uno shake hands. Ari side headlocks him and Uno shoulders him over. Nese knees Uno in the back on the ropes. Alex and Uno punch the heels. Nese is tripped into a double basement dropkick for 1.

Uno bites Nese's arm. Ari trips Uno from the outside and Uno takes a double throat thrust from Nese. Uno takes double punches in the corner. The heels are pulled into each other. Alex hit lariats then spinning forearms Nese. Alex driveby kicks Nese on the ropes. Alex flips Nese then lariats him for 2.

Alex running back elbows Nese. Mark Sterling brings Nese out. Alex gets distracted and is pushed off the top rope. Mark and Ari stomp Alex outside. Ari neckbreakers Nese. Ari chokes Alex over the ropes with his leg then Mark chokes Alex over the ropes. Beef is asked to interfere but he doesn't.

Alex step up enzugiri's Ari. Nese pulls Alex's throat over the top rope and misses a triangle moonsault inside. Uno comes in and hits corner splashes on the heels. Uno double ddt's the heels. Uno backbreakers Ari and Alex top rope elbow drops Ari. Ari flying shoulders Nese on accident. Uno ddt's Ari on the apron.  

Nese slingshot plancha's Uno outside. Alex tope con hilos both opponents. Mark tells Beef to interfere and he doesn't. Mark goes after Alex and gets hit. Beef crossbodies Alex outside. Nese running knees Alex in the corner and pins him.

Thoughts: The Athletes win! The Athletes win! Seriously...it may have been their biggest win in a long time. The big news here was Beef helping The Athletes cheat. They still haven't really explained why either side wants the other though. What we got was fine but it could have been a little shorter.

The Athletes have Beef pose with them after. 

Rocky Romero talks on the mic before his match. He says The Don Callis Family has had nothing but success the past few months. Rocky says RPG Vice hasn't had the success that the standard of The Family holds. Rocky says they were given an open contract tonight to get an easy ROH win. Trent says to play a generic tune and bring out some faceless young boys. 

RPG VICE (Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta) vs Alex Zayne & Mance Warner

Mance hits RR in the corner. Trent gets hit and is thrown out. Alex leapfrogs over Mance and dropkicks Rocky. Mance running knees RR for 2. Mance bites RR's hand then Alex does the same. TB running double throat trusts Alex. Alex blocks his tornado ddt.

Alex does a headscissors + headlock takeover. Mance teases a dive but just goes out and eye pokes his opponents. Alex tope con hilos outside. RR sends TB into the rails outside. Alex is bridged and takes a top rope double stomp + ddt combo for 2. 

TB forearms and chops Alex. Alex takes running corner attacks. Alex takes a top rope double stomp + burning hammer combo for 2. Alex hits a double hurricanrana then a double dropkick on the heels. Mance comes in and hits shots on the heels. Mance hits punches on TB then punches RR as well. Mance double bionic elbows the heels.

Mance pop up headbutts TB then running knees him. Mance is suplexed on the apron by RR. Alex inside to outside moonsaults and final cuts TB off of it. TB low blows Alex. Alex takes a top rope double stomp + b-driver combo and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was an okay tag here. I didn't like the burning hammer spot but it was fine otherwise. Alex had interesting offense and the heels had some neat double teams. Alex hasn't done much at all this year but showed up here for some reason. This was beyond random.

The heels go to attack Alex after, Mance helps out and TB low blows Mance. The heels go for more but Eddie Kingston and Ortiz make the save.

Nathan Cruz does a promo. He says Adam Brooks complains about how he should have been here 6 years ago. Cruz says he's been applying his trade all over the world and is only now getting his shot in ROH. He says he won't be sensation like Will Ospreay. He says he will be the first to welcome him to ROH. He says he will find out that he is a pro.

Satnam Singh vs Jacked Jameson

Sat shoves JJ off the lock up and throws him down. JJ hits punches on him. JJ tries a chokeslam and gets nowhere. Sat headbutts him down. Sat corner splashes him and corner chops him. Sat throws him. 

JJ is caught off the 2nd rope and slammed. Sat tries to go out and the rope is pulled into his crotch. Sat misses a charge and goes into the post. JJ splashes him from behind on the ropes. JJ dives off the top and is caught with a cutter. Sat wins.

Thoughts: Sat won as he always does, but it wasn't the usual squash as they did some different spots. This wasn't much of note.

Chopping It Up with Caprice Coleman

CC interviews Deonna Purrazzo. She says she is the first Women's Pure champ and gets to define herself. CC says a lot of women mimic Deonna. CC asks who she watches. She says she watches a lot of Jay Lethal. CC calls Jay the franchise and says we saw his life in wrestling. Deonna says she's been trying to make a life outside of wrestling and that's been her identity. She says she has a bachelor's degree and is trying to get a master's degree. She says she's part of various veteran organization with her husband. 

CC says we dream to become wrestlers, make an impact then have the choice to pick people up when they hit the big stage. Deonna says she wants everyone to see women's pure wrestling on par with men's wrestling. She says they don't always get that space. 

Lacey Lane vs. Hyan

They wristlock each other. Hyan cartwheels out and armdrags her. Lane armdrags her back. Hyan knees her in the gut. Hyan misses a corner charge and Lane crucifixes her for 2. Hyan dropkicks her. Hyan boots her out of the corner. Lane dropkicks her while she sits on the 2nd rope. 

Lane holds her for chops. Hyan rolls her up for 1. Lane sweeps her and kicks her in the face for 2. Lane gets on her back and is thrown down. Hyan lariats and back elbows her. Hyan running knees her then backdrops her for 2. Hyan running knees her then falcon arrows her for 2.

Hyan misses a corner spear. Lane germans her and superkicks her for 2. They butt heads on all fours. Lane trips her and twists her legs into a reverse figure four. Lane running headkicks her then does like a no hands pedigree over the 2nd rope. 

They trade shots. Lane superkicks her and Hyan spears her. Hyan hits a jade end and pins her.

Thoughts: What we got was acceptable and not much more. Either girl in theory could have won here at least. It was nothing great and was totally random, but it's a matchup we haven't seen a lot of.

Nathan Cruz vs. Adam Brooks

They shake hands. NC wristlocks him. AB rolls out and reverses it.  NC headscissors him from the mat to escape. NC hammerlocks him and wristlocks him. They go for headlocks and shove each other. NC side headlocks him then AB houlders him over. NC goes for a leapfrog and is dropkicked down. 

AB knees NC in the face. NC flying knees him. NC hits shots in the corner. AB upkicks him. AB spin kicks him in the gut and is pulled down by the hair. AB facekicks him off the apron. AB goes for a tope and is enzugiri'd. NC slingshot backdrops him for 2. 

NC hits mounted shots on AB then elbow drops him in the shoulder. NC pulls his neck forward for 2. NC then chinlocks him. NC forearms him then AB dropkicks him. AB backcrackers him. AB low topes him outside. NC corner enzugiri's him and pump kicks him. NC sitout powerbombs him for 2. 

AB pump kicks him. NC running lariats him then cradle shocks him for 2. NC is up top and is enzugiri'd. AB superplexes NC then holds on for oblivion. AB top rope swantons him for the win.

Thoughts: It got a lot of time. AB didn't do his usual heel role here. It was acceptable but not much more. The best part about Adam is either his look or him being from Australia and there's only so much you can get out of that. I'm not rooting for him to fail or anything, just I don't see the money in him.

Rocky Romero and Trent Baretta do a promo. Trent complains about having to face bigger name wrestlers and says Don won't be happy about them needing a lot of time to win. Trent then complains that Eddie and Ortiz embarrassed them after. Trent says they will embarrass them now. rocky asks Eddie and Ortiz to fight them man to man. 

We get a video on next week's Moriarty vs Angelico Pure Title match. 

Komander vs. Tommy Billington

I'm interested to see this one and think it could be good.

They lock up and Tom clean breaks him. Tom shoulders him over. Tom wristlocks him and Kom wristlocks him back. Tom headflips and throws  him over. Kom armdrags him but Tom holds on and tries a pin off of it. Kom dropkicks him.

Kom crossbodies Tom over the top rope. Tom headbutts Kom then Tom gets sent into the rails. Kom goes for a tope and is hit. Tom top rope dropkicks him inside for 2. Tom gutwrench suplexes him. Tom suplexes him for 2. Tom pulls Kom's arms back. 

Kom walks up the buckles, does rope tricks and springboard diving armdrags Tom. Kom superkicks him in the back of the head and 619's him in the gut. Kom rope walk diving headscissors him. Kom rope walks and corkscrew dives him outside. Kom rope walk 450's him for 2 .

Tom tombstones Kom. Tom misses a top rope diving headbutt. Tom hits forearms and Kom forearms back. Tom crucifixes him for 2. Kom germans him for 2. Kom walks up the ropes and diving headscissors Tom down. Kom rope walk ssp's Tom and pins him.

Thoughts: It lost a little of it's momentum in the second half. It was acceptable but didn't quite get as good as I had hoped. Kom flew a bit as usual here. Tom needed to heel it up a little here and Kom needed to show some fire.

Shane Taylor Promotions (Anthony Ogogo, Carlie Bravo, Shane Taylor & Shawn Dean) vs. SkyFlight (Dante Martin, Darius Martin, Matt Sydal & Scorpio Sky)

Dante and Bravo go at it. Dante side headlocks him and is shouldered over. Dante shoulders him over. Dante armdrags him then flying armdrags him. Dante dropkicks him. Dean comes in and Sky flying back elbows him. Sky is group beaten in the corner. 

Sky slingshot sunset flips him for 2. Dean takes a high kick from Matt then a standing moonsault from him for 2. Darius flying shoulders Bravo. Dean throws Darius into the post. Darius is stomped on outside. 

Ogogo boots Darius in the corner then running euros him. Ogogo running lariats him. Bravo running forearms Darius in the corner. CristyanXO then boots Darius as he hangs over the bottom rope. Shane chops Darius in the corner. Darius hits forearms on Shane and is dropped with one. Darius chops and forearms him. Shane knees him in the face. Shane yanks him into a uranage. Shane then legdrops him for 2.

Shane corner lariats Darius. Dean bronco busters Darius in the corner. Dean stands on Darius' hand. Matt comes in and high kicks on Ogogo. Matt dropkicks Shane off the apron. Matt hits high kicks on The Infantry. Matt jumping knees Ogogo. Matt is caught coming off the 2nd rope and Ogogo does something like an F-5 to him. Matt takes a backdrop + neckbreaker combo. Shane splashes Matt. 

Shane is double dropkicked out. Dante and Darius hit stereo topes. Sky hits forearms on Ogogo. Sky jumping flatliners Ogogo. Ogogo is held for a top rope diving meteora from Matt. Matt pins him.

Thoughts: It was fast paced and people mostly just came in and out as they wanted here. It didn't really get enough time and we saw little of a few guys here. It was alright enough but nothing great.

Overall thoughts: It was the usual ROH show. Every match was basically random here. We only had one champ in action in our sole title match. Nothing was that great and it was hard to get super invested as usual. The show was also a little over 2 hours and the longer these shows go on, the less I like them. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 as it was acceptable, but there is absolutely nothing you need to see here. Anyone could have booked this show and little effort was put into this from creative. Maybe the Alex Zayne match was the best bout on here?
