AAA on Fox 7/25/2026 Verano De Escandalo 2026

We are in Aguascalientes, Mexico. Corey Graves and JBL are on commentary.

We see Lola Vice in a bull ring with Mr. Iguana. We see La Hiedra and Laredo Kid arrive in a car. Rey Mysterio hangs out near a fountain. Dom Mysterio sits on a car. El Grande Americano arrives on a horse with cowboys singing.

Rey Mysterio talks in the ring. Adrian Mendoza is doing translations for this segment. Rey talks in the ring and says we have 3 straight weeks of incredible events. He says he feels pride because the fans show their passion for lucha.

Rey says he's working behind the scenes to bring lucha to the global stage. Rey says he wants to give us good news. Omos and Dorian Roldan then come out. Dorian says he gave Rey a week to think about what he said. He blames Rey for Vikingo's injury and for getting his title stripped. He says he will give Rey a chance to make the right decision. Dorian says to give the title back or this will end badly. 

Dorian says this isn't a threat but a choice. He says he will unleash Omos if Rey doesn't make the right decision. He says Rey will be hurt personally, physically and professionally. Rey says the answer is no. Dorian tells him to face the consequences. Dorian has Omos back off without any problems.

Dominik Mysterio talks to El Grande Americano in the back. Dom says they are reviving Los Gringoes Locos 2.0 vs Los Perros. Dom asks if they are on the same page. Grande says let's get through tonight. Grande asks Dom is he will have his back and if he's with him or Los Perros. Dom says he's not with Los Perros. Grande says they need to focus on tonight. Damian 666 (original Perros del Mal member) then says few are chosen to Grande.

We get an ad for Free Fire with Rey Mysterio in it, which looks like a video game.

We get a video on the La Hiedra/Lola Vice/Mr. Iguana story.

AAA World Mixed Tag Team Title Match - Lola Vice & Mr. Iguana (c) vs. La Hiedra & Laredo Kid

Rey Mysterio is on commentary for this.

Kid shoves Iguana from behind. Kid waistlock takedowns him and Iguana rolls him up for 2. Kid trips him and Iguana armdrags him. They headflip and stand off. Kid slaps Iguana then Iguana rolling armbars him. Iguana armdrags and dropkicks him. Hiedra gets up in Iguana's face then Lola gets in. 

Lola chops Hiedra then seated springboard armdrags her. Lola armdrags her into an armbar. Lola hits shots to the gut. Hiedra slams her. Lola spin kicks her in the gut then hits a kick combo. Lola spin kicks her down. Lola kick combos Kid then Iguana hits Kid with La Yesca. Lola and then corner hip attacks both opponents.

Lola la silla's Kid off the apron. Hiedra stunners Lola on the floor. Iguana stare down Hiedra. Hiedra kicks Lola in the leg then dropkicks her between the legs. Hiedra pulls Lola's hair and chinlocks her. Hiedra forearms her then corner lariats her. Lola superkicks her then backdrops her. The men come in and Iguana flying headscissors him. Iguana springboard headbutts him in the chest. Iguana crucifix bombs Kid for 2. Kid running forearms Iguana in the corner and michinoku drivers him. Kid top rope 450's Iguana for 2. 

Kid superkicks Iguana and slaps him. Kid is ddt'd off a pumphandle. Lola comes in and hits spin kicks on Hiedra. Hiedra headbutts her and Lola rolls her up for 2. Hiedra flatliners her for 2. Lola grounded chokes her and Hiedra turns it into a pin attempt. Lola spinning roundhouse kicks Hiedra and Kid breaks the pin up. Kid is thrown out then Iguana slingshot headscissors him outside. Lola backrolls Hiedra for 2. Hiedra pushes Lola into the ropes and hits a jade end on her. Hiedra pins Lola.

Thoughts: Hiedra was getting endless shots here and she kind of had to win here or the story ended. The action was fine but it ran into the usual issues with mixed matches where the men are too stupid to hit the girls while the girls hit them. Lola had a good night here and hit some new stuff.

Rey Mysterio does a press conference. Rey says he has great news to share. He says he was interrupted by Dorian Roldan a few minutes ago. He says he promised to get more exposure for lucha when taking this job. Rey says he got a message from Penta. He says Penta will appear on 8/15. He says Laredo Kid got to wrestle in MSG on the SNME pre-show. Rey also shows us clips of him, CM Pun and Mr. Iguana introducing new WWE figures at Comicon. He says next week Hijo de Dr Wagner Jr and Galeno will be in action. He announces a three-way tag and Rey Fenix vs Mini Vikingo.

Dominik Mysterio & El Grande Americano vs. Los Perros del Mal (Angel & Daga)

Angel was Daga's mystery partner here. 

Dom hits shots on Daga. Daga pulls him down by the hair and pounds on him. Daga slams him. Daga hits corner chops. Dom dropkicks Daga. Daga is tripped into a Grande elbow drop. Grande pounds on and boots Daga in the corner. Daga eye rakes Grande. 

Grande hiptosses Daga and PK's him for 2. Grande goes up top and is tripped up. Grande takes corner attacks and an Angel enzugiri. Angel pounds and stomps Grande. Angel corner lariats Grande and hits mounted corner shots. 

Angel misses a corner splash and Dom comes in. Dom hits shots on Angel and Angel begs off. Angel then uppercuts him. Dom takes a Daga basement dropkick to the back of the neck. Daga dropkicks Dom for 2. Dom is double stomped on in the corner. Angel gets a 2 count on Dom.

Angel chokes Dom on the ropes. Dom 2nd rope diving tornado ddt's Angel. Grande and Daga tag in. Grande punches Los Perros and back body drops Daga. Grande hits a 2nd rope double blockbuster on his opponents for 2 counts. Dom hits 2 suplexes on Daga then Daga takes a double team suplex. 

Grande chinlocks Daga. Grande 2nd rope superplexes Daga. Dom top rope splashes Daga. Dom dropkicks Daga into the ropes. Daga lariats him. Grande comes in and enzugiri's Angel. Angel eye rakes him. Grande dragon screws Angel around the 2nd rope. Angel is sent into the ref, knocking him out of the ring. Angel takes a 619 and a flying headbutt from Grande, but the ref is out. 

Dom tries to get Grande to load the mask with a weapon but he won't. Bronco Nima and Berto then come out and attack Dom. Dom is powerbombed into the post. Angel hits a money maker knee to the face on Grande for 2. Rayo and Bravo Americano come out. They hit Los Perros with kendo sticks. Rayo gets double teamed and Bravo jumps off a lighting rig onto them.

Grande air raid crashes Angel for 2. Karmen Petrovic comes out. Nima double chokeslams Bravo and Rayo on a commentary table. Grande topes Nima then flying headbutts him. Angel pop up knees Grande for 2. Angel sitout powerbombs Grande for 2. Grande takes a 2nd rope dropkick + german combo. 

Daga hits punches on Grande. Grande punches Daga and Angel. Grande double lariats them. Grande goes for a tag and Dom pulls his hand away. Dom walks away. Grande gets stomped on by Los Perros. Angel sends Grande face first into the buckles. Angel sky high's him. Grande is held in the catapult position for a top rope double stomp and is pinned.

Thoughts: I didn't like the ending. Dom wrestled a whole match, risking injury, just so he could turn on his partner anyway when the whole point was that he protected him. Dom should have just turned on him immediately and let the beatdown commence. That whole situation made no sense. The tag was fine otherwise but not these guys' best work.

Dom walks up the aisle. Omos and Dorian Roldan show up behind him. They then pose together.

Overall thoughts: There were only 2 new matches here. I liked the action in the mixed tag but it had the usual mixed tag issues where the women hit the men and the men don't touch the women. I didn't like the main as Dom wrestled a 15-20 minute match just solely so he could turn on Grande, risking injury in the process. Him joining up with Omos and Dorian after though will probably work. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 as I didn't love anything here that much and I thought it was average.
