5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block A Match - Rina vs. Akira Kurogane

Akira wristlocks her and side headlocks her. Rina pulls on the hair to reverse it. Akira dropkicks her twice then Rina dropkicks her. Rina throws her. Akira hits forearms and hair throws her. Akira stomps her. Rina slams her for 2.

Rina pulls her arm around the bottom rope. Rina splashes her arm for 2. Akira dropkicks her then dropkicks her through the ropes. Akira running back elbows her. Akira russian legsweeps her and slams her for 2. 

Akira forearms her a few times. Rina hip throws her. Rina cranks her arm back. Rina 2nd rope double knee drops her for 2. Akira rolls her up for 2. Akira enzugiri's her after ducking a lariats. Akira underhook suplexes her for 2. Akira crossfaces her and Rina ropebreaks.

Rina goes for a pin and Akira rolls her up for 2. Akira kicks her in the arm for 2. Akira runs at her and is booted in the chest for 2. Rina does an abdominal stretch bomb on her for 2. Rina does an octopus while hooking the leg and submits her.

Thoughts: It was average to acceptable. It was the opener and both girls are a little limited so we weren't getting anything too wild here. Akira showed a little fire at least before going down.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block B Match - Rina Yamashita vs. Lady C

They lock up. C side headlocks her. Rina shoulders her over. Rina chops her in the corner then C chops her in the corner. Rina hair throws her. C hits forearms then shoulders her over. C slams her for 2. C cobra twists her. C running facekickcs her on the ropes and knee drops her for 2. 

Thye shoulderblock battle and Rina shoulders her down. C drops her face first on the mat for 2. C hits forearms. Rina forearms her then C facekicks her for 2. C chokeslams her for 2. Rina germans her off a missed facekick. Rina step up enzugiri's her and C rolls her up for 2. Rina running lariats her. Rina hits a b-driver and pins her.

Thoughts: It was a shorter one. They kind of had the right idea with power vs power. Rina's been screwing around early n the matches lately and she did that here. This didn't get enough time to be anything special and was so-so. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block A Match - Natsuko Tora vs. Itsuki Aoki

Aoki offers a handshake and Tora isn't interested. Aoki offers another handshake. Tora accepts then boots her. They shoulderblock battle. Aoki trips her and basement dropkicks her. Aoki hair throws her, foot chokes her and is shouldered over. 

Tora clubs on her and chops her. Tora samoan drops her and elbow drops her for 2. Aoki hits chest forearms then rebound germans her. Aoki running lariats her for 2. Tora lariats her down and sentons her for 2. Tora 2nd rope splashes her. 

Tora misses a corner cannonball. Aoki corner meteora's her. Tora hits Aoki with a chair and death valley drivers her. Tora misses a top rope swanton. Aoki rolls her up out of nowhere and pins her.

Thoughts: The finish was sudden here and I was surprised to see Tora lose. Aoki brought some spirit to this but it wasn't that long of a match and was a little below average.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block A Match - Maika vs. Sayaka Kurara

Maika wristlocks her and Saya reverses it. They trade side headlocks. Saya armdrags her and dropkicks her. Maika throws her by the arm and armbars her. Saya ropebreaks. Saya is sent face first into the buckles and Maika pulls her arm around the buckles and ropes. Maika bangs her arm over the top rope.

Saya hits chest forearms. Maika facekicks her then Saya dropicks her twice. Say 2nd rope twisting shoulderblocks her for 2. Saya sleepers her. Saya running dropkicks her. Saya 2nd rope dropkicks her. Saya hits a corner spear for 2. 

Maika pele kicks the arm and lariats her. Saya brings her down with a sleeper. Maika armbars her and Saya submits.

Thoughts: This is another bizarre result with Saya losing quick and mostly easily. Is she being punished or something? Because she was just champ and champs don't lose like this. Maika at least worked the arm before winning with an armbar here. This was below average. 

Anne Kanaya & Ema Maishima vs. STARS (Hanan & Matoi Hamabe)

Matoi and Anne go at it. Anne wristocks her. Matoi reverses it. They trade hamemrlcoks and Matoi side hedlocks her. They armdrag each other and Matoi dropkicks her. Han slams Anne for 2. Matoi arm throws Anne down for 2. They trade forearms. Anne running dropkicks her. 

Ema tags in and hits low dropkicks on Matoi. Matoi slams her adn rolling sentons her for 2. Ema running dropkicks Matoi then crabs her. Matoi ropebreaks. 

Matoi running dropkicks her. Han comes in and flying euros Ema. Ema flying headscissors her and low dropkicks her. Ema running back elbows Han then basement dropkicks her for 2. Han 2nd rope twisting crossbodies Anne then running euros her for 2.

Ema dropkicks Han then Anne slams Han for 2. Anne bulldogs Han. Anne vader bombs her for 2. Han running forearms Anne. Anne rolls up Han for 2. Anne does a neat takedown for 2. Anne hits forearms on Han. Matoi shoulder throws Anne then Han fameassers Anne for 2. Han cuty specials Anne and pins her.

Thoughts: It was basically an opening match in the middle of the card. If you were looking for any great logic or heels and faces, this wasn't it. But, they kept up a good pace, they hit their stuff clean and it went fine for what they got to work with here. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block B Match - Utami Hayashishita vs. Azusa Inaba

They lock up and trade some basic holds. Utami shoulders her over and stomps her. Utami is tripped from the outside by Natsuko Tora. AI bangs Utami's head off the buckles and foot chokes her. She then does this to her again in the other corner. 

AI kicks her in the back. AI facekicks her and Utami forearms her. AI hits chest forearms. Utami running back elbows her. Utami samoan drops her and sliding lariats her for 2. Utami half crabs her and AI ropebreaks. Utami germans her and I germans her back. AI hits another german. 

AI hits chest kicks. AI running back elbows her and gets running back elbowed. Utami suplexes her for 2. Utami back body drops her then AI pump kicks her. AI front facelock suplexes her for 2. AI germans her for 2. 

AI flying double knees her but Utami catches her and slams her down. Utami air raid crashes her for 2. AI high kicks her and Utami forearms her down. Utami running lariats her for 2. AI sweeps her, pulls her legs back and pins her.

Thoughts: It was faster paced match, they stiffed each other and each girl took some hard bumps. They could have sold a little better but I found it entertaining and I was fine with this one. Inaba winning was an upset but if you are going to do upsets, you do it in a situation like this where someone can lose on a  fluke and it won't matter.  

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block A Match - AZM vs. Tomoka Inaba

TI pump kicks her down before the bell. They trade chest forearms. AZM sweeps her, PK's her and basement dropkicks her. AZM is tripped into the ropes and TI facekicks her there. TI kicks her in the back then AZM kicks her in the back. AZM crucifixes her for 2. TI sweeps her on the apron and kicks her in the back. TI is swept on the apron and high kicked as she hangs off of it. 

They trade chest forearms. TI hits chest forearms. AZM suplexes her on the floor. TI suplexes her back. AZM rolls her up for 2. They trade pin attempts for 2 counts. TI running kicks her in the head. AZM rolls her into a suplex. AZM top rope double stomps her. AZM high kicks her and germans her. TI pop up roundhouse kicks her. They high kick each other at the same time and both go down.

TI pump kicks her then sitout gordbusters her. TI apin kicks her in the head for 2. TI blocks a flying headscissors. AZM legsweesp her. AZM goes for the pin and TI reverses it for 2. AZM high kicks her. AZM canadian destroyers her and pins her.

Thoughts: At least the canadian destroyer was the finish here. This was all action with a very fast pace and little selling. It wasn't boring but if you were looking for anything besides speed, this wasn't for you.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block B Match - Konami vs. Mei Seira

Kon drops Mei with chest kick early. Mei kips up, sweeps her and slaps her in the head. Mei hair throws her. Kon triangles her over the top rope. Kon sends Mei into the seats. Kon then sticks a chair in her throat. Kon knees her in the arm then pulls her arm down over the top rope. Kon hammerlocks Mei's arm around the 2nd rope then foot chokes her. 

Mei hits chest forearms. Mei 2nd rope dropkicks her. Mei running corner lariats her and headhunters her for 2. They trade forearms and Mei hits a bunch in a row. Kon chest kicks her down. Mei goes up top and is pushed down to the floor. Mei sweeps Kon on the apron then dropkicks her from the apron outside.

Mei top rope dropkicks Kon for 2. Kon high kicks her, Mei no sells it and germans her. Kon germans her back. Kon takes her down by the arm and pulls her fingers. Mei gets a 2 count on her and slaps her. Mei dropkicks her for 2. Mei sitout powerbombs Kon for 2.  

Kon takes her down by the arm and armbars her. Kon germans her twice for 2. Kon buzzsaw kicks her. Mei rolls her up for 2. Kon buzzsaw kicks her and punts her in the face. Kon submits her with a triangle lancer. 

Thoughts: Kon did a lot of arm work here. They traded some germans and Mei did her usual offense. It was acceptable but not that great or anything.

Kon talks on the mic after and spray paints Mei's face. She then puts Mei's face into an autographed photo.

5STAR Grand Prix 2026 Red Stars Block B Match - Maki Itoh vs. Saya Iida

They test strength and Saya tries to pin her down. Saya shoulders her over. Maki slams her. Maki chinlocks her around the top rope. Maki running forearms her in the spine. Maki pulls Saya's leg backwards towards her head. 

Maki stomps and stands on her. Maki forearms her then Saya double axe handles her. Saya elbow drops her for 2. Saya boots her out of the corner. Maki running boots her off the apron to the floor. Maki bridging ddt's her on the floor. 

They fight on the buckles. Maki headbutts her down. Saya suplexes her. Saya top rope diving shoulderblocks her for 2. Maki forearms Saya. Saya lariats her on the ropes. Maki backrolls her into a half-crab. Saya cradles her and Maki ddt's her. Maki crabs her. 

Maki chest forearms Saya down. Saya chops her and Maki forearms her back. Saya spinebusters her then Maki dropkicks her. Maki gets a 2 count on her. Maki diving ddt's her off the buckles. Saya lariats her. Saya lariats her. Saya suplexes her and pins her.

Thoughts: I didn't really like the opening part of this match with ddt's on the floor not meaning a lot. Maki tries to mimic being a good worker, but she's not and it was a little hard to buy her beating up on Saya. The finish was weak here too with Saya winning with a simplex suplex. This was below average.

Saya then talks on the mic after.

Overall thoughts: I'd say Utami/Azusa Inaba was the best match on here and maybe Konami's match was the second best. This show was a bit below average and nothing really stuck out that much as being great here. It was also a longer show with a lot of singles matches. I'd give it a 4 out of 10 and thought this was below average. I didn't enjoy this one that much.
