Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/08/wwe-main-event-862026.html

Blake Howard & Vic Joseph are on commentary.

Carmelo Hayes vs Ricky Saints

RS hits punches on Melo and chops him. RS hits punches in the corner and clubs him. Melo springboard twisting lariats him then lariats him over the top rope. Melo gets back elbowed down. RS stomps Melo then hits corner spears.

Melo is snet hard into the buckles. RS dances in the middle of the ring. RS stomps him in the corner. Melo hits chops. RS spinebusters him for 2. RS rope walks and clubs his arm. RS swinging neckbreakers him.

RS chinlocks him. RS knees him in the gut. Melo rolls him up for 2. They double clothesline each other down. RS goes down hard and holds his mouth. Melo hits punches. Melo la mistica drops him for 2. Melo rolls him up for 2 and superkicks him. RS double throat thrusts him and drops him face first on the mat for 2. Melo back body drops him.

Melo armdrags him off a roshambo and hits a first 48. Melo pins him.

Thoughts
: RS seemed to hurt his jaw off a double lariat spot. That slowed things down a little. It was more of a workrate match than any kind of match with heels and faces. I thought it was fine. Melo didn't fly around that much here.

The LWO (Joaquin Wilde and Cruz del Toro) vs Harlem Lewis and Harley Riggins

Lewis has his Evolve title with him.

Lewis and JW lock up. Lewis backs him up in the corner and JW shoves him. Lewis boots him in the gut and slams him. JW side headlocks him and Lewis shoulders him over. JW backrolls into a spinning reverse headscissors.

JW flying side headlock takeovers him. JW side headlocks HR then jawbreakers him. HR takes a double back elbow then JW is hiptossed into the ropes into a splash on him. Cruz bottom rope moonsaults HR for 2. HR misses a corner charge and JW top rope crossbodies him for 2.

HR lariats JW down. Lewis forearms Cruz from behind. Lewis backdrops him for 2. HR chinlocks Cruz then forearms him in the spine. Cruz hits shots on HR. Cruz boots him out of the corner. Lewis tilt-a-whirl backbreakers Cruz for 2. Cruz flying step up enzugiri's Lewis.

JW and HR tag in. JW flying forearms him twice then superkicks Lewis out. JW spinning ddt's HR. JW flying armbars HR and submits him.

Thoughts: It didn't get much of a reaction as the crowd wasn't familiar with either team (The LWO haven't made TV in a long time). Lewis and Harley were the heels here and just stuck to basic strikes. The LWO flew a little but it wasn't their best work. This was average, but I do think Harley does a good job.

Lyra Valkyria vs Wren Sinclair

Lyra armlocks her then trips her. Lyra stands on her back. Wren rolls out of a wristlock and throws her by the wrist. Wren pushes her over. Lyra back elbows her and Wren rolls her for 2. Wren backslides her for 2 and rolls her again for 2.

Wren side headlocks Lyra then armdrags her twice. Wren misses a dropkick and Lyra throws her down backwards. Lyra catapults her throat first into the bottom rope. Lyra stomps Wren for 2.

Lyra hits elbows to Wren's neck and chinlocks her. Wren elbows her in the gut. Wren rolls her up for 2. Wren chops her down and lariats her down. Wren back elbows her. Wren flying headscissors her. Wren corner splashes her and doube underhook suplexes her. Lyra rams Wren's throat into the top rope. Lyra throws her over backwards with a bulldog choke then she bulldog chokes her Wren taps out.

Thoughts
: Wren got the majority of the offense here and just did simple stuff. She did keep the pace up though. Lyra didn't get all that much in and it's not clear what exactly her new character is about. It was average. I don't love Wren losing despite being a Speed champ but that title is near worthless anyway.

Overall thoughts: We got 3 new matches here. Melo/Saints was the best match of the night and it was fine. Saints seemed to hurt his jaw in the match though. The LWO's match and Lyra/Wren were both average. Wren got most of the offense in on her match. There was nothing that great here and you don't really need to see this one, but it was an easy and quick watch. I wouldn't recommend this and I thought it was average.
