We see various wrestlers hanging out and arriving. El Grande Americano comes in on a motorcycle and has some kind of parade behind him.

AAA World Cruiserweight Title #1 Contendership Three Way Match - Dragon Lee vs. Jack Cartwheel vs. Mini Vikingo

Jack is back after injuring him arm a bit ago.

They fight over a lock up. Lee drops both opponents and facekicks Jack. Mini flying headscissors Lee but Lee headflips out. Jack superkicks Lee and Mini topes Lee. Jack topes Lee. Jack flips out of a lariat, him and Mini do handsprings and moonsaults at the same time. Jack flying space tigers Lee and Mini outside. 

Jack handstands in the corner and is superkicked. Lee hits combinacion cabron on him. Jack is put in tree of woe. Lee goes up top and Mini top rope spanish flies Lee. Mini corkscrew kicks Jack. Mini corner meteora's Jack. 

Lee superkicks Mini. Mini is in tree of woe and Lee top rope double stomps him down. Jack body springboard splashes Mini. Lee throws Mini out. Jack hits punches on Lee. Lee sunset flips him and Jack blocks a styles clash. Jack is thrown over the top by Lee.

Mini trips Lee. Mini tornillo's Jack outside. Lee shotgun dropkicks Mini hard over the commentary table and into a chair. Lee runs at Jack and Jack standing spanish flies him for 2. Jack misses a top rope ssp. Lee running back elbows him. Jack sunset flips him for 2. Lee rebound germans him and superkicks him. Jack standing moonsault pele kicks him. Lee sitout powerbombs him for 2.

Lee blocks a 2nd rope dragonrana and styles clashes Jack. Mini top rope 630's Lee/Jack and pins Jack.

Thoughts: It was your usual opener here where everyone went wild and flew around a lot. It had some nice highlights and flying. But if you were looking for anything more, this wasn't it. The selling could have been better but I was alright with this one. I'm glad to see Jack is back and it's nice to see Mini pick up a big win.

Rey Mysterio and El Grande Americano talk in the back. Rey says he wants to make sure he knows who he is messing with. He says Perros de Mal are some of the biggest bad @sses in lucha. Rey says they messed with him as he is the biggest dog in the yard. Rey says Grande can't fight them alone. Grande says he knows their legacy and says let them come. He says he doesn't plan on taking a step back. Grande says he can't win this war alone. 

Dominik Mysterio comes in. He says Grande can't win alone and blames Rey Mysterio Jr. for this. He says Perros are opportunistic and they may be right when they see Rey as being weak. Rey says he's happy Dom returned here and Dom asks if it was so he could get attacked by Perros. Dom says he didn't get involved in the Grande vs Grande mask match because he knew the winner would end up facing him at Triplemania. He says that match can't happen if Grande is in a hospital bed due to Perros. He says if Grande is their target, then he is too. Dom says they can watch each other's backs. Grande doesn't believe this and says he will believe it when he sees it.

Dorian Roldan and Omos talk. Dorian says this is his night. They run into Mini Vikingo. Mini says it look like they chose the wrong Vikingo. Omos then shoves Mini away.

Dorian Roldan and Omos come out. Savio Vega comes out to do translations on commentary. Dorian says he didn't want to come here but he had to. Dorian says they have a sad message - due to Rey Mysterio's negligence, El Hijo de Vikingo is injured. He says he had got an operation and will be out for many weeks. 

Dorian asks for respect for Hijo and says he deserves it. Dorian says Hijo got hurt when Rey sent him to Smackdown and NXT. He says Hijo lost money and his title due to Rey. Dorian says he will sue Rey for negligence. Dorian says he will nominate a new AAA Latin American champ and it's Omos. Dorian then gives Omos the AAA Latin American Title. Omos puts it on his shoulder. Dorian says if anyone has a problem, come out and try to take the title from Omos.

Rey Mysterio comes out. Rey give Dorian his best wishes to Vikingo. He says he knows what Vikingo is going through. Rey says he can't change the rules though and says Dorian can't nominate a new champ. Rey tells Omos to give him the title. Omos goes up to him and Rey's head is barely at his chest. Rey tells him to do the right thing and says Omos will be suspended indefinitely if he doesn't do it. Omos gives Rey the title and shoves him while doing it. Rey says the title is now vacant. Rey says they will announce his method to crown a new champ next week. Rey says he will see Dorian in court if he wants to sue him. 

Thoughts: There was an odd situation with Vikingo. He was set to have an NXT match, but he had an unannounced SD match first. He got injured in the SD match (which happened before NXT aired) and never made the NXT match. Now, Vikingo is injured and out and Rey had to strip him of the title.

Damian Priest does a video. He says he heard Rey is looking for a new Latin American champ. He says look no further as he has arrived. He says all rise.

Rey Mysterio does a press conference. He says Verano de Escanadalo will be aired over 3 weeks. He says Mini Vikingo will face Rey Fenix for the AAA Cruiserweight Title. He also announces a Flammer vs Lady Shani vs La Catalina Women's title match. He says La Hiedra also asked him about a mixed tag title match. He says it will be La Hiedra and Laredo Kid vs Faby Apache and Joaquin Wilde in a #1 Contender's match for the AAA Mixed Tag Titles. He says the winners of that will get a title match at Verano de Escandalo.

Rey says El Hijo de Vikingo will be out for months. He says it opens up an opportunity and he will have more details for it next week. He says he's excited. He is asked about Andra Bazarte. He says he owes her a call and invites her to AAA next week as they have a lot to talk about. 

Money Machine (Colmillo De Plata & Garra De Oro) vs Epydemius Jr. & Noisy Boy

Noisy Boy makes his WWE AAA TV debut here. He's one of the bigger name indy guys in Mexico and he's been on LM52 recently.

Noisy and Plata lock up. Plata waistlocks him and Noisy wristlocks him. Plata headflips out and armdrags him. Noisy flips off of him. Noisy handsprings and backflips off the ropes. Ep and Oro go at it. Oro wristlocks him and side headlocks him. 

Oro shoulders him over and hits shots on him. Ep cartwheels over him then springboard diving headscissors Oro. Ep misses a corner splash. Ep tornado ddt's him. Oro is double hiptoss neckbreakered. Noisy is corkscrew flipped onto Oro for 2. 

Plata grabs Noisy and Oro dropkicks Noisy. Noisy takes corner attacks and a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Oro walks up the ropes and twisting crossbodies Noisy. Plata topes ep outside. Oro chinlocks Noisy. Noisy takes a double shoulderblock then a double back elbow. Noisy takes a double boot down and a double elbow drop for 2.

Noisy rolls out of a double lariat and tags out. Ep springboard tornillos both opponents. EP springboard diving armdrags and enzugiri's Plata. Noisy top rope corkscrew headscissors Plata down. Ep finlay rolls Oro then 2nd rope tornillos him. EP tope con hilos Plata outside. Noisy does a dive off the top for 2 on Oro but we miss most of it. 

Noisy poisonrana's Oro then Plat release germans Noisy. Ep spin kicks Plata in the gut then Plata flying elbows Ep. Karmen Petrovic of Perros del Mal comes out. The other Perros then come out and beat up everyone for the no contest.

Thoughts: It kind of came off like a tryout match for Noisy and Ep, who both had good nights here. The entry bar for lucha guys in matches like this isn't that high as most of them fly and that's about all they were doing here. Money Machine have kind of turned into a jobber tag team who is looking for their first win but they are doing fine with it and it's a story they can run. What we got was fine here and it's too bad we didn't get a finish.

Perros del Mal beat up everyone. They rip up Oro's clothing then rip up Plata's clothing too, leaving him in his purple underwear. Angel then rips at Oro's mask. Daga gets on the mic and has words for El Grande Americano. He says he heard Grande isn't alone. He says why doesn't Grande come out to fix this? Daga says they will beat Oro and Plata up if he doesn't come out.

El Grande Americano comes out with Rayo and Bravo Americano. The two groups fight. Los Perros get the edge. Bravo is backdropped on the commentary table. Rayo is thrown onto it. Grande takes his jacket off and tries to fight them off. Dominik Mysterio comes out with a chair. Los Perros run.

Dom gets on the mic. He says he doesn't know what Los Perros are doing here but says Grande's business is his business. He tells Daga to pick one of his crew to face him and Grande in a tag match.

Thoughts: I'm not loving the story of Dom wanting to make sure Grande is healthy as that's not really his character. I was waiting for Dom to turn on Grande but that didn't happen here.

Overall thoughts: The two matches we got were more workrate style matches not much else. The second match didn't have a finish either. What we got of those was fine, but they were random bouts anyone could have put together...and that's been the theme more often than not lately after a hot few months under new WWE management. I'm not loving the Dom/Grande stuff as it's out of character for Dom and there wasn't a lot else but some announcements. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 as I thought this was just average overall and just not AAA's best work.
