United Empire (Great-O-Khan & Jakob Austin Young) vs. Goto Revolutionary Army (Hirooki Goto & Tatsuya Matsumoto)

Khan double chops Goto from behind. They go out and Khan is sent into the rails. Goto bulldogs him on the floor. Goto forearms him outside. Tat is sent into the rails. Khan puts a chair on Goto and sits on him with it. Goto is held and takes a basement dropkick from Jake. 

Goto hits chops on Jake. Jake eye rakes him. Jake enzugiri's him. Goto double lariats Khan and Jake. Tat comes in and running euros Jake twice. Tat dropkicks him in the knee for 2. Tat leglocks Jake and Jake ropebreaks.

Tat misses a dropkick and takes a shining wizard from Jake. Tat rolls Jake into a leglock. Khan breaks that up. Khan bites Goto's head then Goto running lariats him. Jake twisting brainbusters Tat for 2. Jake hammerlock ddt's Tat and pins him.

Thoughts: It was short and didn't accomplish a lot. Khan didn't really excited and Tat got a little in on Jake before being put down as expected.

The heels beat up on Tat after and Goto backs them off. Khan then chokes Goto from behind with a towel.  

United Empire (Jake Lee & Zane Jay) vs. House Of Torture (SANADA & Yoshinobu Kanemaru)

San's team attacks before the bell. They all go out to fight. Jake is sent into the rails. YK dropkicks Zane in the knee then bangs his knee off the mat. YK eye rakes Zane and Zane pulls his throat over the top. Zane slingshot splashes YK.

Zane bangs YK's head off the buckles. Jake knocks San off the apron and sends him into the rails. YK double boots Jake in the ring out of the corner. Jake back elbows YK and YK dropkicks Jake in the knee.

San dropkicks Jake in the knee then dropkicks him in the chest. San puts Jake in a paradise lock then hits him in the butt with the turnbuckle pad. San is tripped into the ropes and takes a knee to the head. Jake atomic drops San and pretends to sell with him. Zane 2nd rope elbow drops San in the head then fallaway slams YK. San dropkicks Zane in the knee. 

Zan thesz presses San and hits mounted shots on him. Zane misses a top rope elbow drop on San. San shining wizards him. San puts Zane in a dragon sleeper then Zane lariats him down for 2. San 2nd rope moonsaults into a grounded dragon sleeper on Zane. San submits Jane.

Thoughts: It was a shorter bout. They didn't go too into the heel tactics here and it was nothing special. It was a little better than expected though. Sanada's gotten a little more serious this tour after goofing around earlier in the year.

Konosuke Takeshita & Toru Yano vs. Masatora Yasuda & Oleg Boltin

Oleg and KT go at it. They test strength and KT overhead suplexes him. They shoulderblock battle. KT facekicks him then Oleg shoulders him over. Masa comes in and hits forearms on Yano. Masa flying forearms him. Masa running back elbows him in the corner. Masa then goes into the exposed buckle when Yano moves.

Yano hiptosses him for 2. Yano goes into the exposed buckle. Yano takes corner attacks and a dropkick from Masa for 2. KT double lariats his opponents but Oleg doesn't budge. Oleg shoulders him then is sent over the top. Masa suplexes Yano for 2. Masa stomps on Yano and pounds on him. Yano sends Masa into the exposed buckle and rolls him up with the tights. Yano pins Masa.

Thoughts: The Oleg vs KT sections were fun and that should be a neat match. Yano cheated as usual. This was too short to be anything.

KT and Oleg shake hands and butt heads outside after. 

TMDK (Hartley Jackson & Ryohei Oiwa) vs. Unbound Co. (Gedo & Yuto-Ice)

Oiwa side headlocks Ice. Ice hits him in the gut. They trade forearms. Oiwa armdrags him and ducks Ice's kick. Oiwa cravates him and neckbreakers him for 2. Oiwa chinlocks him. Oiwa hits forearms. Ice throws him down backwards. Ice hits chest kicks. Ice running knees him in the corner. 

Oiwa blocks a kick. Ice hits hard slaps and chest kicks him down. Oiwa ddt's him. Hart and Gedo get in. They shoulder battle. Gedo runs into him and goes down. Hart corner splashes him then lariats him for 2. Gedo gets a 2 count on him. Gedo hits punches and Hart flying crossbodies him. Hart sentons him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a short waste of time. The four men got one segment each and nothing else. Ice and Oiwa's section wasn't bad and Hart beat Gedo easily as expected. 

Unbound Co. (Shingo Takagi & Taiji Ishimori) vs. Unbound Co. (Daiki Nagai & Yota Tsuji)

Shingo and Yota lock up. Yota backs him up on the ropes. Shingo side headlocks him and they shoulder battle. Yota flying headscissors him and Shingo shoulders him over. Nagai comes in and hits forearms on TI. Nagai monkey flips him. TI stunners Nagai over the top rope. TI twists his neck with his feet.

Nagai takes a double back elbow and an elbow drop. Shingo suplexes him. Nagai and Shingo forearm each other. Nagai takes a back elbow then hits his own dropkick. Yota corner splashes Shingo then shoulders him over. Shingo knees Yota in the gut. Yota facekicks him then flatliners him for 2. 

Shingo running lariats Yota. Shingo dragon screws him. TI is sent into Shingo then Yota tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him. Yota superkicks Shingo. Nagai corner dropkicks TI for 2. Nagai spinning ddt's TI for 2. Yota flying pumping knees Shingo on the ropes. TI la mistica's Nagai into a border city stretch and submits him.

Thoughts: It was a shorter one. Like the last match, all 4 men got their one section in and not a lot else. The Shingo vs Yota section looked fine but TI vs Nagai wasn't too notable. It was another average waste of time. 

G1 Climax 2026 Block B Match - Gabe Kidd vs. Aaron Wolf

Gabe wears a gi out then Wolf puts one on too. 

Gabe mocks him and bites his head. Gabe pounds on Wolf and whips him with the gi. Wolf shoulder throws him, STO's him and hip throws him. Gabe hits shots outside and is hip thrown. Wolf chops him down against the rails then Wolf is sent into the rails and post. Gabe hits headbutts on Wolf. Gabe runs the ramp and misses a lariat. Wolf uranage's him on the floor.

Gabe slaps him and is hit with a hard forearm. Wolf corner lariats him and suplexes him. Wolf elbow drops him for 2. Wolf backdrops him. Gabe boots him out of the corner and hits forearms. Wolf no sells them and chops him. Gabe brainbusters him. 

Gabe hits headbutts on him. Gabe goes up top and Wolf 2nd rope AA's him. Wolf reverses triangles him and Gabe does something to his crotch to escape. Gabe slaps Wolf around. Gabe spits in his face and is slapped. Gabe slaps him and cradles him for 2. Wolf lariats him. Gabe roll ups Wolf for 2. Gabe running knees him and piledrivers him. Gabe then pins him.

Thoughts: I liked it. It was a Gabe Kidd style match here with them slapping each other and being stiff. Both guys did their part and Wolf did fine as his opponent. This was an okay bout here. 

G1 Climax 2026 Block B Match - HENARE vs. OSKAR

They trade forearms to start then shoulder battle. Os facekicks him and is forearmed. Os shoulders him over from the side. They fight outside. Hen is sent into the rails. Os misses a running kick and goes into the rails. Hen then gets sent into the rails. Hen then knocks him off the apron into the rails.

Hen hits knees to the gut then kicks him in the chest. Hen chest kicks him and sentons him for 2. Os back body drops him then shoulders him over. Os running back elbows him. Os misses a legdrop then chops him down. Os elbow drops him for 2. 

Os facekicks him. They trade chops and forearms. Hen hits a lariat. Os facekicks him then is lariated over. Os chops him and Hen spin kicks him. Os slams him then legdrops him for 2. Hen clubs him. Os sleepers him. Os facekicks him down. 

Os flying headbutts him in the face for 2. Hen headbutts him in the chest then sitout powerbombs him for the pin.

Thoughts: They never really got the flow going like they should have. There was a lot of starting and stopping here and it hurt the reactions. They did have the right idea otherwise though as it was two bigger guys trading hard shots until one of them won out. It was acceptable but not much more. 

G1 Climax 2026 Block B Match - Drilla Moloney vs. Yuya Uemura

Yuya wristlocks him. DM armdrags him and Yuya armdrags back. They lock up. Yuya bridges and DM gets on top of him. Yuya monkey flips him they bridge at the same time. Yuya arm throws him and armlocks him. DM headscissors him then is armdragged twice. Yuya armdrags him into an armlock. Yuya flying forearms him and armdrags him. 

Yuya armdrags him again and is put in a headscissors. Yuya tries to handstand out and DM short piledrivers him. DM neckbreakers him for 2. DM clubs on Yuya's neck then pulls on his chin. 

DM clubs on his back. Yuya 2nd rope twisting crossbodies him. Yuya chops him in the corner. DM avoids an armdrag and rolls him up for 2. Yuya rolls him up for 2. They armdrag each other at the smae time and Yuya dropkicks him. Yuya double underhook suplexes him then armbars him. DM hits a death valley driver. 

DM running corner spears him. DM spinebusters him. DM top rope elbow drops him for 2. Yuya wristlocks him. DM ear claps him and is german'd. DM hits a big spear. They trade forearms. Yuya rolling armbars him. DM chops him and is hit with a pele kick. DM dropkicks him for 2. Yuya avoids a drilla killa and gets a 2 count on him. DM powerbombs him then hits a drilla killa for the win.

Thoughts: Like in his last G1 match, when it came time to bust out the bigger offense later in the match, Yuya wasn't able and just opened for wristlocks. That hurt this one and it made sure it never really picked up. This was just average. I was a little surprised Yuya lost.

G1 Climax 2026 Block B Match - Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Callum Newman

They go for facekicks and trade forearms. Zack anklelocks him and CN kicks him away. CN hammerlocks him and Zack wristlocks him. CN straightjacket chokes him. Zack twists his neck with his feet. Zack headscissors him then tists his neck with his legs. Zack euros him. CN sweeps him and kicks him in the ribs. CN stomps his arm and chinlocks him. CN elbows him in the face. CN facekicks him off the apron into the rails.

Zack is sent into the rails. Zack facekicks him then CN facekicks him against the rails. CN puts Zack in a seat and boots him back. Zack is thrown over the rail onto the ringside floor. Zack kicks the rails into CN's arm then dropkicks the rails into his arm. 

Zack stomps the arm in the ring then stomps it into the apron. Zack splits CN's fingers. CN is kicked in the arm and they trade facekicks. They facekick each other at the same time and collide in the middle ring. Both go down. CN superkicks him then running knees him. CN suplexes him for 2. 

CN double stomps Zack's back for 2. CN germans him and Zack PK's him. CN no sells it and lariats him. Zack michinoku dirvers him. CN superkicks him then pulls him down with a sleeper. Zack triangles him. Zack pulls back on both of CN's arms and elbows them. CN ropebreaks.

Zack hits kicks to the arm. CN chops him. Zack euros the arm.CN high kicks him and double stomps his back for 2. CN lariats Zack then single underhook suplexes him for 2. Zack armbars him off an F-5 attempt. Zack triangles him and tries a pin for 2. Zack bridge pins him for 2. Zack pele kicks CN in the arm and CN rolls him up by the tights to win.

Thoughts: It was an alright match here. Zack worked the arm, CN sold it and then pulled off the upset in the end. It could have been a little more exciting but it was nice to see Zack be a bit more focused for a change instead of doing submission exhibitions.

CN gets on the mic and tells Zack he sucks. He tells him to go home.  He says he is undefeated so far and will be the youngest G1 winner. He says we will make way for the prince and kiss the crowd.

Overall thoughts: The undercard tags were mostly wastes of time with nothing getting too much time and the wrestlers being restricted to one segment each in most of those matches. Kidd/Wolf was okay. Henare/Oskar didn't quite meet expectations but was acceptable. Drilla/Yuya was average and the main was alright. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 as the undercard sucked (and it wasn't the wrestlers fault) and brought this one down some. This was average.
