Top Flight vs Private Party

Quen rolls over Dante and dances. Dante chops him. Quen is double tripped then double kicked. Quen takes an atomic drop > trip > ddt sequence. Quen is double popped up but hits a double dropkick out of it. Zay hits lariated on Darius then gets on the apron. Zay asai moonsaults Dante outside. Zay then puts a toy crown on that he found in the crowd and does a springboard diamond dust.

Darius takes an atomic drop + enzugiri combo. Darius is put in the camel clutch then his back is double stomped while in it. Quen rolls up Darius and Ation Andretti stops Quen from holding the ropes. Darius rolls up Quen for 2.

We go to PiP break and return. Quen is thrown over the top. Darius then plants off the top buckle and pele kicks Zay. Dante is tagged in. Dante hits forearms on Zay then enzugiri's him from the apron. Dante top rope crossbodies him for 2.

Zay hits forearms on both TF members. They have a complicated sequence and Zay enzugiri's Darius. Dante superkicks Zay. PP hits the silly string into a tornado ddt. Quen hits a top rope ssp on Dante. Darius standing spanish flies Zay then Darius topes him. Dante superkicks Quen then hits a half-nelson side slam for the win.

As one would expect, this was nothing but spots and complicated sequences. Nobody really cared and the sequences weren't hit all that well. Top Flight want to shake hands after. Private Party just tap them on the head.

Sammy Guevara is interviewed. He said the street fight loss sucked and felt different. He said it's not just about him anymore as he has a kid. He said having the title represents a better life and opportunities. He said Hobbs and The Don Callis Family took that from him by interfering in his matches. Sammy said he's coming for them.

Sonjay Dutt and friends talk. Jarrett said he's not getting in the ring today. Dutt says he's not working out and Karen says she's not either. Singh doesn't want to work out and said he's undefeated. Jeff said Lethal's the problem of the team and is too nice. Jeff said they need to get back to being worthless sons of b!tches.

AEW Tag Title Eliminator - Big Bill and Ricky Starks (c) vs The Dark Order (John Silver and Alex Reynolds)

 

Darby is on commentary here. The D-O rush their opponents and Uno grabs Bill's leg. Silver hits kicks on Starks. Silver back rolls Alex then is powerbombed onto Alex's knees. Stakrs hits shots on Silver then Silver germans him.

Starks flips out of a double backdrop then Bill double lariats The D-O. Bill hits corner splashes then Silver is thrown out. Bill hits punches on Alex and Uno gets on the apron. Bill face kicks him off of it and Alex sends Bill over the top. Alex topes Bill then is caught. Silver cannonballs Bill off the apron then Alex face kicks Bill on the rails.

Bill is sent into the post then Bill black hole slams Alex in the ring. Starks hits shots on Silver then slams him. Starks running back elbows Silver and poses. Alex boots Starks then Starks walks the top rope and hits him on the way down. Uno pulls Starks out and Starks spears Uno on the floor. Silver hits kicks on Starks then Starks hits a roshambo to win it.

It was a weird one. We know The Order wasn't winning here. It wasn't clear who were the faces or the heels here since The Order did more heeling than Starks/Bill did and people weren't sure whether they were supposed to cheer them or not.

Renee interviews Don Callis and Powerhouse Hobbs. Don said he's sick of hearing about Sammy and his family. Don said Sammy is medically cleared but not mentally cleared. He said he's not hunting Hobbs, Hobbs is hunting him. Hobbs said he also has a family and said they depend on him. Hobbs said this isn't the first time someone tried to hunt him and said he better hope he doesn't see him first.

Willow Nightingale vs Queen Aminata 

Stokeley Hathaway came out with a sign that said "Stooley" and "I support my girls". He then had another that said Willow + Stooley = BFF's. They said Willow tried to make friendship bracelets but ran out of letters and that's where the Stooley name came from.

Willow wristlocks her and Queen reverses it. Queen twerks over her arm and into her face. Willow throws her down then twerks in her face. Kris then covers Stoke's eyes outside. Willow shoulders Queen over then Queen cradles her for 2. Queen snapmares her then Willow slams her.

Queen does a low crossbody for 2. Queen short arm clotheslines her. Willow hits her with her butt then Willow 2nd rope dropkicks her. Willow is tripped on the apron.

We go to PiP break and return. Willow misses a cannonball in the corner then Queen running facewash kicks her. Queen headbutts and germans Willow. Queen misses a corner hip attack then Willow corner cannonballs her. Willow death valley drivers her for 2. Willow doctor bombs her and wins it.

It was a short but okay match. Nothing memorable or anything. I have no idea what's going on with the Stokeley stuff and I doubt it's going to work. 

The girls make Stokeley dance with them after and Stoke isn't thrilled.

Best Friends are interviewed. OC said he knew The Undisputed Kingdom would interrupt them. OC gives them a countdown and they do interrupt them. OC said The Kingdom keep doing things that make them angry and said they should fight each other. Cole said they should do a 4v4 but he says Chuck Taylor is too injured to compete. He said they should do Taven, Bennett and Strong vs OC, Berretta and Romero. Strong said they should do it on Rampage next week. This was stupid.

Willow, Stoke and Kris are interviewed. Willow said she feels great after the win and has a bracelet for Renee. Saraya, Ruby and Harley walk in. Stoke tells them to take their mess out of here. Harley bites Stoke on the hand. Ruby calls Willow a dumb b!tch and says to go back to daycare. Stoke said he's the only one who can make fun of Willow. Willow said let's solve this in the ring next week. Ruby and Saraya keep arguing and Saraya is mad she has to wrestle. Renee tells them all to shut up. This was also terrible.

Mascara Dorada, Hechicero, Volador Jr. and Mistico vs Matt Sydal, Christopher Daniels and 2.0

 See, this one is fun. Mistico is actually the original Mistico but Dorada is the 2nd Dorada, as the fist Dorada, is Gran Metallik who also wrestles for AEW sometimes.

Dorada and Sydal start us off. They fight over each other's arm. Dorada flips over him twice then Sydal flying headscissors him. Dorada corkscrew headscissors him. Menard and Vol get in. Vol handsprings off the ropes then flying headscissors him. Vol superkicks him. Daniels and Mistico get in.

Daniels armdrags Mistico then Mistico handspring back elbows him. Mistico springboard corkscrew crossbodies him. Mistico walks up the buckles and corkscrew armdrags him. Mistico teases a dive on Daniels. Hech springboard dropkicks Daniels. Mistico superkicks Daniels and Vol backcrackers Daniels. Dorada running ssp's Daniels for 2.

Dorada chops Daniels in the corner then Daniels STO's him. Dorada takes a double shoulder then Parker flying single leg dropkicks him. Parker jumps off Menard's back with an elbow. Sydal standing corkscrew moonsaults Dorada. Dorada takes a bow and arrow from Sydal.

We go to PiP break and return. Dorada is popped up into a headscissors on Sydal. Dorada corkscrew kicks Parker. Hech hits lariats on Daniels and hip throws him. Hech step up knees Sydal on the apron. Hech chokes Daniels on the ropes then springboard elbows him.

Everone starts hitting moves. Daniels flatliners Hech and puts him in a koji clutch. 4 guys fight then Mistico is popped up into a double dropkick on 2.0. Vol topes Parker and Mistico walk up the buckles dives Menard.

Dorada corkscrew armdrags Sydal off the top then tornillo's outside. Hech back body drops Daniels then step up knees him. Hech rolls him into a pin attempt and wins it.

It was so-so. They didn't have enough time for all of the people involved and they had timing issues with some of the spots.

Overall thoughts: Not a good show. The main was so-so and had issues. The opener was indy crap. The Dark Order/Starks and Bill match had issues as the crowd didn't really know who the faces were here. The Saraya/Harley/Ruby segment was bad as was the Best Friends vs Undisputed Kingdom segment.
