WOW Women of Wrestling 1/27/2024 Season 4, Episode 20

Americana and Santana Garrett do a promo. They said their matches didn't go as anticipated but they won't give up or back down because they are The All American Girls. Jessie Jones and Amber O'Neal come out.

Jessie said they are like puppies who need their noses rubbed in their mistakes. She said Americana has a deathwish. Americana said she will get up no matter how many times she is knocked down. She said her and Jessie need to settle this tonight. She asks Dave McClane for a match with her tonight. Jones said she predicts that she will be on the mat tapping out again. Jones tells Amber to take the night off and have a shot waiting for her.

Trios Tournament - The Brat Pack (BK Rhythm, Gigi Gianni and Lil J-Boogie) vs Spring Break 24/7 (Crystal Waters and Sandy Shore) vs Chantilly Chella

Chella throws J over then leapfrogs her. They block each other's armdrags like a dance and point at each other. Chella armdrags and dropkicks Gigi. Waters splashes Gigi in the corner then spinning headscissors her. Waters 2nd rope crossbodies her for 2.

Gigi hits corner spears on Waters. Gigi double knee presses Waters down. J trips Waters for 2. Gigi whips J into a corner splash on Waters then Gigi over the back neckbreakers Waters. Gigi stomps Waters then goot chokes her. BK is cradled by Waters for 2.

BK hits a bad codebreaker on the arm. BK boots J on accident when Waters and Sandy gets in. Sandy hits lariats then spin kicks and axe kicks BK. Sandy backfists and enzugiri's BK then backfists Gigi.

Chella and Sandy do stereo corner splashes. They then hit stereo sunset flips. Sandy is thrown out and Chella takes "the showstopper slam". The Brat Pack get the win.

I liked this one. It was fast paced, it made sense and there was only one minor botch here. 

Gigi gets on the mic after. She said she didn't know how she felt about J, but she's impressed. BK then welcomes J to The Brat Pack. BK then raps as J does bad dancing.

Golide Collins does a promo. She said it's so annoying to get in the ring wit hthe untrained creatures of WOW. She said they don't sit or roll-up when you tell them to and said they won't let you give them your finishing move. She said she would never put Alexander (her dog) in a submission hold and said he's an "award winning model of perfection". She said she won't give on you, but she will beat you and says she's the best in show. Goldie's dog trainer gimmick is a weird one though she has a good look and talks well. 

Goldie Collins vs Adrianna Gambino

Goldie is pushed over then rolls her up. AG rolls her up for 2 then AG rolls her up for 2. Goldie's leapfrog is caught and she is driven into the buckles. Goldie running lariats her then suplexes her. AG drives her into the corner then does her unusual kick in the corner. AG chokes Goldie on the ropes then splits on her, calling it "the sicilian slice" for 2.

AG does an impressive split into a foot choke. AG chinlocks her then Goldie spinning side slams her. Goldie running lariats and shoulders her. Goldie has her on her shoulders and drops down to a knee for 2. AG kicks Goldie while Goldie behind her then AG does a bad pump kick to the gut for 2.

AG back elbows her and bangs her face off her shoulder. AG hits a spinning fisherman's neckbreaker and wins it.

It wasn't too good. Both girls are tall, kind of akward and green. Most of the offense looked really bad.

Gambino gets on the mic after. She said she finally got a more sizeable opponent. She said Goldie put up a tough fight. She said even though she can be a real female dog, this wasn't one of her dog competitions and she wasn't best in show.

Chainsaw vs Fury

We see clips of Chainsaw destroying a locker room and throwing Foxxy Fierce through a wall earlier in the season. Angelica Dante is with Chainsaw as usual.

Chainsaw charges her and Fury ducks her. Chain picks her up and drops her then misses a legdrop. Fury sliding lariats her and elbow drops her for 1. Fury gets on her back with a sleeper and is thrown over.

They trade shots in the corner and Chain corner spears her. Chain chokes her then foot chokes her. Chain hits more corner spears then gutwrench suplexes her. Dante chokes Chain outside.

Chain misses a corner charge and is booted in the back. Fury pumping knees her then low flatliners her for 2. Chain lifts her up with a double choke. Fury is put on the top rope. Fury tornado ddt's her then Chain chokeslams her. Chain then splashes her to win it.

It was average. It didn't get a lot of time and there weren't that many highlights.

Santana Garrett asks Americana if she is sure of this. She doesn't her to fight with her heart instead of her head. She said her and Jessie Jones have a long history together. 

Americana vs Jessie Jones

 

Am misses a corner charge and is hit from behind. Am dropkicks her then hits a backflip into an elbow. Am side headlocks her then Jones headscissors her. Am springboard double axe handles her for 2. Am rolls her her up for 2 then Jones pulls her arm down over the top rope. Am's head is banged off the mat then Jones kneedrops her arm.

Jessie hits an unusual shoulderbreaker then Am rolls her up for 2. Jessie running back elbows her then elbow drops her. Am running lariats her then slams her. Am is pushed off the 2nd rope to the floor then thrown into the post. Jessie armlocks her and Americana taps out. Jessie keeps the hold on after.

Santana Garrett comes out to save Americana, but Amber bangs her head off a wall. Jessie has to be pulled off to break the hold and Amber goes to choke Santana with a chair.

It was an okay match with Jessie working the arm most of the match before tapping out Americana. The angle at the end was something different for WOW with the show ending while things were still happening. It could have been done a little better though.

Overall thoughts: It was an okay show with the trios match being decent and the main being fine. Goldie/Gambino wasn't good and Fury/Chainsaw was nothing special.
