Jinder Mahal vs Apollo Crews

Road Dogg says the fans love Jinder. We were told Mahal and Crews had a pull-apart brawl over who had the bigger title win at Mania. Mahal slams and chinlocks him. They trade forearms. Crews goes up and over and hits chops. Crews hits a dropkick and Mahal hits knee drops. Mahal neckbreakers him and knee drops him.

Mahal does a chin and arm hold. They trade punches and Crews flying lariats him. Crews pump kicks him then 2nd rope twisting crossbodies him for 2. Crews enzugiri's him then hits a standing moonsault for 2. Crews takes a stungun then a cobra clutch slam for the Mahal win.

It wasn't anything special as expected. The crowd didn't really care and of course this was a cold match with no real build to it. Mahal was main eventing Raw a few weeks ago and is now on Main Event.

The Creed Brothers vs Hank Walker and Tank Ledger

 

The Creed's have a new theme and it sucks. It's completely unremarkable. They also have new singlets that are also rather unexciting. Tank and JC lock up. JC is thrown down. JC hits a fireman's carry takedown on Tank then Brutus throws Tank down. Brutus is criss-crossed and takes a shoulder. Brutus then takes a sandwich bodyblock.

Hank misses a corner charge and is rolled up. JC and Brutus stand next to each other and hit fallaway slams. JC hits a standing ssp and Brutus hits a standing moonsault. JC leapfrogs and is caught Tank, getting sent into the corner. Tank sends Brutus flying off the apron. We go to break and return.

Hank flying back elbows JC then JC takes a double slam. Hank and Tank do a legdrop + senton combo for 2. Hank armlocks JC. Hank face kicks JC. JC is popped up into a backdrop. Tank chinlocks JC then misses a corner charge. JC step up enzugiri's Tank then Brutus gets the hot tag in. Brutus spinebusters Tank then backdrops Hank. Brutus karelin lift's Hank and splashes both in the corner. Brutus deadlift germans Hank.

Brutus powerbombs Tank for 2. Hank pushes Brutus off the top then JC jumps up top and superplexes Hank. Tank then takes a doomsday device Brutus ball and is pinned.

I don't like the new changes to the Creed's here. Combined them not being used on the main roster and it's like they are being punished for the Brutus ball on Priest. The match was fun as expected and both Creed's got enough shine here. Hank and Tank also looked good like usual.

Overall thoughts: There were only 2 new matches here along with various recaps. I liked the tag match but Mahal/Crews was just filler. I wouldn't recommend this.
