Ice Ribbon 2/3/2024 New Ice Ribbon #1327

They do their usual thing where the roster comes out and talks. Mio Shirai puts on some cat mask and has things thrown at her by everyone.

Kyuuri and Ancham vs Yuuri and JC Storm

 

Kyuuri and JC lock up. They waistlock each other and JC side headlocks her. Kyuuri is tripped and her opponents pretend to take pictures of her, then she takes a camel clutch under the bottom rope. Kyuuri takes a double basement dropkick for 2.

Ancham and Yuuri go at it. An springboards and armdrags her, but takes a pin attempt off of it. An la magistrals Yuuri for 2 then boots her in the gut. Kyuuri stands on Yuuri's gut then runs the topes, stepping on her. Kyuuri then does a cartwheel splash. Yuuri misses a PK and takes an eye rake.

Kyuuri hits corner punches on Yuuri then Yuuri double jump srpingboard dropkicks her. Yuuri running back elbows her and neckbreakers her for 2. JC spin kicks Kyuuri then rolls into a cutter on her. Kyuuri cradles JC for 2 then does an arm submission while raking her face. Kyuuri spinning neckbreakers her for 2 then An top rope crossbodies JC for 2.

An fisherman suplexes JC for 2. An boots her in the chest for 2 then camel clutches her. An dragon sleepers her in the cluth and Yuuri breaks it up. Yuuri 619's An then JC cartwheel elbow drops An. An high kicks JC then JC rolling spears her for 2. An counters a rainmaker with a rings of saturn with the legs hooked and wins it at 7:28.

It was a short and fast paced match. Not great or anything but a totally fine opener.  

Sumika Yanagawa vs Saran 

Sumi throws Sarana over twice then wristlocks her. Saran rolls through it and reverses it, then Sumi does the same. Saran hammerlocks her then is side headlocked. Sumi full nelson's her and handstand double knee drops her back. Sumi tramples Saran's back and poses while doing it. Sumi stomps on Saran's hands then misses a butt drop on the apron.

Saran stomps on Sumi's hands then butt drops them. Saran dropkicks her against the middle rope for 2. Saran hits forearms to the chest then dropkicks her for 2. Sumi backcrackers her then rolls into an indian deathlock. Saran gets her back with a sleeper and is backed up into the buckles.

Saran puts the hold back on then dropkicks her in the back. Sumi single leg dropkicks her then hits a bad swinging headbuster. Sumi hits a botched swinging facebuster then they have another ugly looking swinging headbuster. Sumi gets the win.

It went longer than it needed to and wasn't good. Saran just could not figure those swinging busters out or was concussed. I think we all try to give Saran break because she's younger, but this was one of the worst matches I've ever seen her in.

Totoro Satsuki and Asuka Fujitaki vs Yappy and Nanae Furukawa 

Asuka and Nanae start us off. Asuka gets her on the ropes and Nanae boots her in the gut. Nanae wristlocks her then does a nice snapmare. Nanae boots her in the gut and headbutts her. Asuka runs into Yappy's butt on the 2nd rope then Yappy tries to hanging choke her from there but can't lift her. Yappy puts a sleeper on her while on the back and is backed up into the buckles. Nanae hits a weak forearm on her own partner on accident then Asuka splashes both. Totoro lariats both then Asuka corner spears both.

Asuka is laid on the bottom rope and Yappy chops her. Yappy corner splashes her for 2. Nanae and Yappy rub their butts in Asuka's face on the ropes then sandwich hip attacks her. Asuka shoulders her over then splashes her for 2. Asuka fujiwara armbars her and Yappy rolls her up off of it. Yappy shoulders her over.

Nanae and Asuka trade chest forearms. Nanae rolls her up then ties up both her legs. Nanae fujiwara armbars her. Asuka catches a boot and puts an over the back submission on her. Asuka then does a nice drop off of it. Asuka splashes Nanae then Totoro falling splashes her. Asuka gets on Totoro's back and they double splash Nanae.

Nanae gets on Totoro's back with a sleeper. She triangles her on the top rope and is forced to break it up. Nanae then shining triangles her but Asuka stops it. Totoro takes a double hip attack and a Yappy legdrop. Yappy hip attacks Totoro in the conrer then butt drops her for 2.

Yappy dragon sleepers Totoro then bronco busters her on the ropes. Yappy legdrops Totoro for 2. Totoro knocks over Yappy then Asuka slams Nanae on Yappy. Totoro splashes Yappy for 2 then Yappy lariats her. Nanae flips on Totoro then Yappy hits wasteland on Totoro. Totoro lariats her then Yappy takes a double backdrop. Totoro hits a nice lariat on Yappy for 2 then 2nd rope sentons her for the win.

It wasn't that good. A lot of the moves didn't really connect that well here and Nanae's stuff didn't look good. It also went longer than it needed to.

Hamuko Hoshi, Kaho Matsushita & Yuuki Mashiro vs. Arisa Shinose, Ibuki Hoshi & Misa Kagura

Yuuki and Ibuki start us off. They test strength and both bridge during it. Ibuki goes for an eye poke but is eye poked first. Yuuki avoids shots and they stand off and tag out. Misa and Kaho get in. Kaho dropkicks her then is slammed. Arisa dropkicks Kaho then Kaho slams her. Ham gets in and rubs her belly in Arisa's face in the corner. 

Arisa takes a triple hip attack in the corner then Ham crabs her. Arisa and Ham trade forearms and Arisa forearm flurries her. Arisa crossbodies her for 2 and slams her. Misa dropkicks Ham then is shouldered over by her. Ham goofs around and is hit on the head by Ibuki. Ibuki puts a mask on Ham then Ham puts the mask on Mio, the ref. Everyone throws stuff at Mio, including people not even in the match. Misa elbow drops and sentons Ham. Misa gets on Ham's back and pulls both her arms back then Yuuki and Kaho do the same to the other team.

Misa takes shots against the ropes then a double elbow drop. Kaho shoulders over Misa then Misa shoulders her over. Misa sentons Kaho's back then suplexes her. Ibuki gets in, runs the ropes several times and flying kicks Kaho. Kaho is rolled over and takes a double boot. Yuuki tries to pin her partner Kaho for unknown reasons then poses with her opponents. Kaho side slams Ibuki, knees her on the ropes and hits a PK. Yuuki dropkicks Ibuki then rolls into a pin attempt on her for 2.

Yuuki takes a double boot > double bulldog > double basement dropkick. Yuuki basement dropkicks Ibuki then Ibuki double chops her. Aria shoulders Yuuki over several times then single leg crabs her. Yuuki ropebreaks and low dropkicks her for 2. Yuuki then crossfaces her. Yuuki dropkicks her against the ropes then Arisa takes an STO.

Yuuki running eye pokes Arisa for 2. Yuuki misses eye pokes then takes a spinning neckbreaker from Asia for 2. Arisa is thrown off the top by Yuuki for 2. Yuuki gets rolled up for 2 multiple times then Yuuki shoulder throws Arisa for the win at 16:39.

It was long and not good. They had comedy and people attacking their own partners and the ref. They did the most basic of moves and this really did look like a rookie match for the most part.

They had birthday cake for one of the Ice Ribbon heads and Kaho aftr.

Overall thoughts: The show wasn't good. The main was a pain to sit through and had comedy mixed in. There was just little to suggest that things might be better next time around. Unfortunately, shows like these are why I stopped reviewing Ice Ribbon so frequently even though I do like to support them.
